Darkmaster10000000: Thanks for the praise. I've never really used Predaplants before, so I looked them up. I want to make sure this story isn't half-assed after all. I honestly never thought of using Pot of Extravagance before since I never us it but while I don't think that could work what you suggested, I could use it to not only power up Swordsoul Supreme but also weaken the enemy monsters and activate his effect.

Warrior of six blades: Zack is a smart guy. Not saying he's "broken" smart, but more like "thinking outside the box" smart. He's like Yusei and thinks of "what if" scenarios. It wasn't easy to make that duel scene, it being the reason it took so long to finish the chapter in the first place. If you want to read some really good stories, some being KH, then look up an author named lyokoMARVELanime if you haven't already found him.

(Before we start, I would like to go back to a review I answered last chapter about Ritual Monsters. At the time I was planning this story and researching about the Albaz lore (really good story by the way and 9 or 10 different Archetypes in it) and decks, they only had two ritual monsters that didn't really feel like they would work with Zack's deck out at the time. That is until I recently discovered a third Ritual monster that works MUCH better. And I just want to put this out now; Zack has a lot of cards in his bag, the one he had in chapter 1 and took with him, for his Deck and Extra Deck.)

Chapter 4: Welcome to the Standard Dimension
In Academia, everything was a bit hectic, as the systems were still under the effects of Zack's virus. In the Professors room (aka throne room), we see the man himself looking at the kneeling forms of Apollo and Diana.
"I gave you a task and you failed." Leo said.
"Our apologizes Professor." Apollo said.
"The traitor was stronger than we thought." Diana said. "He dismantled our combos before we could use them. It's like he knew moves before we did them!"
"Speak for yourself." Apollo countered looking at her. "At least I used mine."
"And how long did that last?" Diana retorted looking at him.
"Enough!" Leo snapped.
Both guardians stopped fighting and looked down again. Leo stands up from his throne and puts his duel disk on his arm, activating it.
"I have no use for failures." Leo said.
The guardians looked up at him in shock.
"P-Please Professor! Give us another chance!" Apollo begged in fear.
"Yes, I-If we both face the traitor together, then we can d-definitely beat him!" Diana pleaded with fear.
The Professor only narrowed his eye's.
"If you couldn't beat Zack Hikari when he was holding back, what makes you think you can beat him when he isn't?" Leo asked rhetorically.
Before the two could say anything else, a purple light came from Leo's disk, causing Apollo and Diana to scream. When it died down, they were turned into cards with expressions of frozen horror.
Leo sighed and sat back down. He didn't even look to the voice that spoke.
"Truly a pity though." Doktor said from Leo's side. "To think we had a talented individual in our ranks and didn't even notice."
"It's because he played the part of the fool perfectly." Leo said. "He hid his abilities by putting in the least bit of effort but enough to stay afloat and not draw attention to himself. Not to mention the virus that was implanted for who knows how long."
Leo starts to remember everything that happened last night. He called Doktor to run the final checks for the implantment of the parasites into his beloved daughter Ray's Synchro and Xyz pieces. After green lighting everything, Doktor was about to leave and get things ready, only for the doors to seal shut to their surprise. Doktor began trying to open them but to no avail. He investigated the network to see what was wrong, only to find a virus that was hidden in their own coding. Before he could remove it, much to both of their shock, the systems own firewalls protected it and codes changed, making their master access worthless. Doktor began to hack into them manually. Luckily Leo has a separate system that gives him control of the cameras and lets him make direct calls or send messages. While Doktor worked on the virus, Leo started to try and find the one responsible for this. He looked outside the school for any intruders but found none. He was a little puzzled, wouldn't this be the perfect time for someone to sneak in… or to sneak out! Upon that realization, Leo pulled up the cameras directed at the towers only to see both guardians beaten, and the doors open. He immediately looked through all the halls that lead to the towers until he found the girls and to his shock two other teenagers he knew. Ray's Fusion piece and her watcher; Zack Hikari! They had just stopped at the doors that led to Doktors lab and only Zack entered. Seeing this Leo called for the man's attention to show him. The adults watch the teen look all over the place for something until he finds two cards in glass cases. Realizing what the cards were, Doktor says that they are Fusion counterparts of Rin's and Ruri's ace monsters that he created, but he cannot get to them without the proper codes. That is until Zack taps on his disk, which they see is one of the old models, and opens the cases to Doktors disbelief and surprise. Seeing this, Leo immediately concluded that Zack is the one responsible for what's happening. Leo makes a call to Yuri, waking him up.
"This had better be good." Yuri grumbles angerly.
"We have a traitor that needs to be dealt with immediately." Leo says. "He has freed the girls you captured from the Synchro and Xyz Dimensions. Serena is also with them."
Hearing this, Yuri wakes up fully.
"What?! Someone dares to ruin all my hard work!" Yuri snaps. "Where are they?"
"Seeing as how he has gained full control of our systems; they are heading to the Dimension Gate." Leo theorizes after looking back to the screen watching the group of four. "Take three others with you and cut them off there."
"Very well." Yuri complied and ended the call.
The Professor kept watching the four and, as he predicted, they ran for the gate. Yuri appeared in front of them. Zack challenged Yuri to a duel, seemingly to give the girls a chance to run for the gate, only for three Reds to stop them and duel them. Since he knew the girls would win, Leo gave the duel between Zack and Yuri his full attention. Leo will admit that Zack's ability to fusion summon multiple times with little cards was quite impressive and to bring out a monster that damages your opponent every time they activate a card is smart. He was a little miffed that Yuri chose not to finish him on his turn when he had the chance but ignored it as he had full confidence in Yuri's victory. Except that confidence was quickly destroyed after Zack, not by refiling his field so easily, but by what he did afterwards. Zack used all three Extra Deck summoning's! Fusion, Synchro and Xyz's! But that wasn't the most shocking part. During the battle Zack's mask gained a crack due to Yuri's attack. When he Fusion and Synchro summoned the cracks grew and after he Xyz summoned it broke… revealing the same face as Yuri's! Upon seeing this, Leo shot out of his seat in pure shock. Even Doktor stopped working seeing Zack's face in surprise.
"That's… impossible…" Leo muttered.
Yuri was suppose to be Z-Arc's Fusion piece, but if Zack really was a piece then that might mean-! Fearing that Ray's pieces were going to get away, Leo immediately sent a wide message to all the students about the group at the Dimension Gate. Good thing he did as after Yuri's Starving Venom Fusion Dragon was destroyed and its effect negated, Zack landed the finishing blow and won the duel. The girls quickly ran to him, no doubt to see if he's alright. It was then that the other students appeared and charged at them. Zack and the girls made a break for the Gate.
"Doktor! Have you gotten through yet?!" Leo demanded.
"Just about there!" he responded. "Just on the final wall!"
"Hurry, they're almost at the Gate!" Leo informed.
He turned back to the screen, only to see the Gate activate and the four about to jump into it.
"DOKTOR!" Leo yelled.
"Done!" Doktor said as he broke through the final firewall.
Unfortunately, he was too late as the group dove headfirst and the Gate closing behind them.
Leo could only stare at the screen in shock and disbelief. Two emotions that slowly turned into anger. Decades of planning, manipulating and lying. Completely wasted! How could this get any worse?!
"Well… it's not all bad." Doktor tried to help. "We do have this admittedly impressive virus."
Except when he tried to access it the whole system shutdown.
"Ah. It seems the young boy designed it so that it would crash our entire network by self-destructing if anyone but him accessed it." Doktor said.
"raaaaAAHHHHHHH!" Leo screamed in rage.
After his… "moment" … Leo and Doktor began working on getting things back up and running again. So far everything but the Dimensional Gate was working. Leo then called the tower guardians, and you all know the rest.
"I so wish we could have gotten that virus." Doktor sighed.
"Yes, I admit it could have been useful to us." Leo admitted.
"Well, I shall take my leave and see if I can get the Gate up and running again." Doktor said as he gave a bow and left the throne room. "It's a good thing we already sent our spy to the Standard Dimension for his mission."
Now that Leo was all alone, he accessed a video file that he downloaded from Yuri's duel disk while he was waiting for Apollo and Diana to arrive. He didn't want to play it with Doktor here in case certain things were said.
"I knew it!" Yuri's exclaimed. "I knew you were holding back your true power, but to be keeping something like this a secret?! Now I'm not sure if I want to card you or not, Zack-san!"
"This isn't about showing my true power." Zack said. "I just don't have a reason to keep hiding anymore."
"Hiding?" Yuri asked.
"That's right." Zack confirmed. "I know the Prof… no… Leo Akaba is watching this duel. It's a good thing he is, because I have a message for him."
"And that is?" Yuri asked.
"That message is… The light that was trapped in the dragon of darkness has returned, Leo!" Zack announced.
After he heard Zack say those words, Leo now knew who he was.
'It is him! He made it!' Leo thought in surprise and happiness, before becoming confusion. 'Does this mean he has his memories? It's possible due to him losing his body but keeping his mind. It was the opposite for me. And if he does, then why do this? Doesn't he want Ray back?'
Leo shook his head.
"Regardless of the reason, it will not stop me." Leo said with determination. "If you aim to stand in my way, then I will fight you as well… Zarc."
(? PoV)
How long has it been since that day now? Since she stopped that demon and its rampage? Since she sacrificed her body and soul? Since she lost her best friend… and her first love? She didn't know. All she could do was watch through the eyes of her Standard Dimension piece Yuzu whilst inside the bracelet she wears. She was honestly surprised to find out that the Dimensions were ripped apart alongside her and Z-Arc.
She watches as her piece became childhood friends with Zarc's, just like they did. Zarc. She still remembers that right before she unleashed the Natural Energy Cards, Zarc revealed he was still himself and took back control of his body long enough for her to succeed. She couldn't believe that she didn't realize what was happening to him, that his Darkness was consuming him! If only she had the chance to see him again and make things right.
Just then, three separate memories began to race through her mind. The first showed a futuristic city built on top of another, where the people below live in poverty, and they used Synchro monsters. The second showed people smiling and living in peace as they summoned Xyz monsters. The third showed children in an orphanage Fusion summoning. She realized that this was the memories of her other pieces! But how? Why was she seeing them?! They're suppose to be in their dimensions! She started looking through the new memories, hoping to find answers.
The first set didn't show much, just how the economic style was terrible and unfair. That is until her Synchro self, Rin, was being chased into a dead end. When she turned to face the pursuer, she was shocked to see they had Zarc's face! She already knew Zarc's Synchro piece Yugo, so who was this? Her question was answered when during their duel he fusion summoned Zarc's Starving Venom Fusion Dragon and won. Rin was knocked out and woke up in a prison on top of a tower.
She decided to move onto the second memory and things were much better, accept her Xyz piece's, Ruri's, brother could chill about winning all the time in her opinion. Other then that, things looked good. Ruri and Zarc's Xyz self, Yuto, got together and where living a happy life and started learning to duel from… Yusho Sakaki?! That was Yuya's, Zarc's Standard Dimension's, father! He disappeared one day! How did he get to the Xyz Dimension? Figure that out later. Then Fusion Dimension started to attack them and much to her horror, turned them into cards. Why?! Why would they do this?! What's worse is that after seeing it happen so many times to their allies, Ruri's brother Syun and Yuto started turning the Fusion Duelists into cards themselves! This caused Ruri to break up with Yuto, but he didn't seem to care. The bastard! It played out just like Rin's did after that. Zarc's Fusion self showed up, beat Ruri in a duel and she woke up in a tower.
All that was left was to look at her Fusion self's memories. It started out normal. Serena grew up in an orphanage and was a bit of a tomboy like Rin and Yuzu, unlike Ruri who was graceful and ladylike. She lived her life helping the orphanage and either watches or duels herself, until she meets a boy in a mask named Zack. He had an air of mystery about him and seemed like he knew more than he let on. Plus, he was quite brave, funny and skilled but also kind-hearted. She could tell when Zack let her win duels even if he wore that mask, but questioned why he never takes it off. If she didn't already see who Zarc's Fusion piece was, she'd assume that this was him. The years passed and the two became a couple like how Ruri and Yuto did, but hope's it doesn't end the same way. They eventually enter a dueling school together and sees something that shocks her at her core, her father. She always wondered what happened to him. She was relieved to see he was okay.
She finally learnt that boy who captured Rin and Ruri was named Yuri. Soon her father told everyone about the other dimensions and planned on invading them to bring about a "utopia". She was in disbelief and horror at his actions. Her father was the reason for the attack on the Xyz Dimension? It would be later that showed her why. Zack apparently didn't trust her father when he first saw him and has been doing things in secret, all to protect Serena. Her father seems to remember her and what happened. He's been turning people into cards to use a fuel source to fuse her piece's together and bring her back.
Zack wasn't going to let that happen to Serena or to, as he decided to call them, her sisters. After beating the guardians of the towers with ease and freeing Rin and Ruri, they made their way to the Dimensional Gate to leave the Fusion Dimension. Only Yuri stood in their way that apparently her dad found out and called him. Zack dueled against Yuri and was given a bad hit that cracked his mask. Just like her piece's, she was worried for him too. That's when Zack does something she didn't think was possible, he used all three Extra Deck summoning's! It was at that moment when his mask broke and heard him speak did she realize who he was, much to her happiness.
"The light that was trapped in the dragon of darkness has returned!" Zack announced.
"It's you isn't?" the Spirit asked with tears in her eyes. "You're really back…Zarc!"
After that Zack beat Yuri and the group of four went through the Gate and landed in an alleyway.
(3rd PoV)
It was a clear and peaceful sunny day. People were walking about, enjoying their day. Not noticing the bluish-green light coming out of an alleyway nor the sounds.
"Gha!"
"Oof!"
"Ahh!"
"Eep!"
Four people feel out of a vortex like portal. These four were Zack, Serena, Rin and Ruri. They had just barely escaped from the Fusion Dimension and Leo Akaba's grip. The sisters all sit up.
"Is everyone okay?" Serena asked.
"I'm fine." Ruri answered.
"All good." Rin said. "How about you Zack?"
No response.
The girls look around but couldn't see him.
"Where's Zack?" Serena asked.
"You don't think he landed somewhere else, do you?" Rin asked worried.
Ruri was about to say something until she felt something underneath her. Looking down her eye's widened.
"Umm, g-girls…" Ruri stuttered, her face becoming red.
The two turn towards Ruri and see her looking down. Upon doing the same their own eyes widen, with Rin's face also becoming red. They were currently sitting on top of their saviour (Rin: Crotch. Serena: Stomach. Ruri: Face.) and quickly got off him.
"Zack!" Rin exclaimed with a blush, hands covering her butt.
"Are you okay!" Serena asked.
Ruri couldn't say anything as her face was still red while her hands covered her crotch.
Zack sat up and rubbed his head.
"Yeah, I'm okay." Zack groaned as he tried to suppress his growing blush. 'How the hell did I end up being on the bottom? I went in last and came out first!'
"Not sure what you're complaining about." Zarc said with a smirk. "Any guy would have killed to be in your place."
(Fuck off Zarc…) Zack growled at him as he got up and turned to the sisters. "How about you three? You all okay? Didn't get hurt?"
"We're okay." Serena said.
"Our landing was soft." Ruri said on instinct and covered her mouth, face becoming redder.
Zack and her sisters look at her. Zacks and Serena's face blush.
"S-She means that it was firm!" Rin tries to cover for Ruri but ends up covering her mouth as well and blushing harder.
The three looked at her as their faces blush harder as well. All four stand there in awkwardness as a breeze goes by.
"Wow." Zarc said.
Zack clears his throat.
"H-How about we go and find out where we are?" Zack suggested.
"Yeah/O-Okay/Hm." Serena, Rin and Ruri agreed with nods.
They walked out to see what the area was like. After a few quick glances, Zack looks at Ruri and Rin.
"Does anything look familiar to you Ruri, Rin?" Zack asked them.
"Nothing is destroyed, so no." Ruri answered.
"Nope. No city over our heads." Rin responded.
Serena cupped her chin to think.
"That means we're not in the Xyz and Synchro Dimensions." Serena said. "We just left Fusion, so that means this is…"
"The Standard Dimension." Zack finished. "Looks like it worked."
"So that means we're safe… right?" Ruri asked with hope.
"For a good while yeah." Zack said. "Eventually Leo's going to send his men here, but thanks to my virus that won't be for a long time. It should also give the resistance in Xyz some breathing room too."
Ruri was happy to hear not only that they were safe for the time being, but also that Zack gave some help to her home Dimension. She suddenly hugged Zack much to his surprise.
"Thank you, Zack! Thank you so much!" Ruri said with joy.
Zack smiled softly and hugged her back.
"You're welcome, Ruri." Zack said.
Zack then felt someone jump on his back and had to stop himself from falling over, least he lands on Ruri. Looking back the culprit was Rin who latched onto his back.
"Yeah, thanks Zack!" Rin said happily. "You saved us from those jerks just like you promised!"
"Of course, I did." Zack said with a chuckle. "I couldn't just only save Serena and leave you both behind. It wouldn't have been right."
He gave them a smile that made the sisters heart skip a beat. Serena then snapped out of it as she remembered the girls being too close to her boyfriend.
"Okay that's enough. Get off him." Serena said as she forced the two off Zack.
Ruri was a little confused, but Rin just smirked as she one-arm hugged Ruri.
"Seems Serena is feeling threatened that we'll steal her boyfriend from her, sis." Rin said.
"Wait, boyfriend?" Ruri asked.
"N-No I'm not!" Serena denied in a huff and looked away.
"Aw! Now isn't this adorable?" Zarc teased.
Zack's only response was to sigh.
Ruri was a little heart broken at the news and looked down in sadness. This was seen by Rin, causing her to frown slightly.
'Wow. Guess Ruri really did fall for Zack. Not surprising since so did I.' Rin though. 'We're going to have to sit down and have a talk with Serena about this.'
"Let's just go alright?" Zack suggested. "I already have an idea on where to head."
Zack began to walk away. The sisters look at him, then at each other before catching up.
"Really?" Rin asked.
"But you haven't been in the Dimension before, right?" Ruri asked.
"Well, it's more of a hunch." Zack admitted. "Something I've been thinking about in the last three years."
"Three years?" Serena repeated until it clicked. "Ah! You mean-!"
"When Leo's son appeared at Academia." Zack finished for her with a nod. "That's right."
"Wait? Son?" Ruri asked surprised. "The Professor has a son?"
"That's right." Zack confirmed. "In fact, he has a family and a whole damn company here."
"So… does that mean this is his home Dimension?" Rin asked.
"In a way, I guess." Zack shrugged.
"How do you know he can be trusted?" Ruri asked. "If he's Leo Akaba's son, then wouldn't he be on his side?"
Zack looks at Ruri and smiles softly.
"Just because they have the same blood, doesn't mean they have the same mind." Zack said before looking forwards again. "I think his son would be strongly against what Leo's doing and has probably been working on ways to fight him."
"Okay, but how are we going to find him and gain his trust?" Serena asked.
Zack smirked internally as he already had an answer.
"First, I think the building labelled 'LDS' is a dead give away." Zack said as he pointed to said building.
The girls looked at it and their jaws dropped. (Google yugioh arc v LDS building)
"In Leo's data, his company is called 'Leo Duel School' aka LDS." Zack explained. "As for gaining his trust, we give him the information I have."
"Wow~. You have all the answers, don't you?" Rin smirked at Zack.
Zack only chuckled while rubbing the back of his head.
'Not everything.' Zack thought. 'Due to time being messed up, I don't know what point we're at for the Standard Arc.'
Then, as if to answer his prayers, the group passed by a couple of tv's that were on display. Showing something that caught their attention.
"For those of you who didn't see the action of a lifetime, Yuya Sakaki defeated the champion Strong Ishijima "The Sledgehammer" in a spectacular fashion! He had performed a summoning that no one has ever seen before (The tv shows Yuya Pendulum summoning and beats Ishijima)! Just what will this up-and-coming Duel Tainer pull off next?!"
"Welp there's your answer." Zarc stated.
'So pretty much episode three. Got it.' Zack thought.
The girls looked at what they saw with widened eyes.
"What the heck was that?!" Serena asked in shock.
"I've never seen anything like that in my life!" Rin gasped.
"Sakaki?" Ruri muttered. 'Does that mean Sensei is also from this Dimension too and this is his son?'
Zack looked at the clock on his duel disk to see the time.
'It's noon, so "Prince Prick" Sawatari won't trick Yuya and the others into going to LDS until later.' Zack thought. 'That should give us plenty of time to talk to Reiji.'
"Hold on." Rin said before looking at Zack. "This guy has the same face as you Zack!"
Serena and Ruri blinked, also making the connection.
"No way! Another one?" Serena asked.
"That makes four people." Ruri said as she remembered Rin also said someone she knows has the same face as him.
"Yeah I know, but don't fully understand it myself." Zack sighed with a lie. "When we get to Leo's son, Reiji, then I'll explain everything I know."
"You better mister." Serena said while pointing a finger in his face. "I'm getting sick of all these questions but no answers."
"Same here." Rin agreed as Ruri nodded.
Zack smirked and "bit down" on Serena's finger, not breaking eye contact. This caused the sisters to blush again. Serena quickly took back her finger.
"I promise my dancer." Zack vowed as he continued walking.
The girls quickly follow behind him, still blushing. Rin then turned to her fusion sister.
"He has a pet name for you?" Rin asked with a grin.
"Shut. Up." Serena growled in embarrassment.
Ruri giggled a bit.
Afterwards the group continued until they reached LDS. On the way, some people pointed out Zack's appearance. His duel against Yuri left him a bit ragged. His uniform jacket (Yellow) was ripped up in places and the frame of what was left of his mask was still on his head. Zack discarded both things in a trash can, leaving him with wearing a black tank top, blue jeans and brown worker boots. The sisters were blushing hard at seeing his slim but firm muscular arms and how the tank top fitted his body. Seeing their stares, Zack asked if they liked what they were seeing with a smirk. Their blushes went atomic with steam coming out of their heads. Ruri and Rin covered their faces while Serena repeatedly hit Zack's chest in embarrassment, but it amused him more than hurt him. Now reaching the school, the four walked inside and made their way to the receptionist desk.
"Hello. How my I help you today?" the receptionist asked with a smile.
"We need to speak with Reiji Akaba." Zack said.
"I'm sorry, but only someone with an appointment can speak with the CEO." the receptionist said.
"Well, is there anyone we can talk to about meeting him?" Rin asked.
"Apologies, but no." the receptionist said.
"Look, we need to talk to Reiji." Serena said. "We have information about his father, Leo Akaba."
The receptionist's smile faltered upon hearing that. Looking at their faces, they saw the four were serious.
"Please take a seat, someone will be with you shortly." the receptionist said with a smile again.
"Thank you." Ruri said with a bow.
The group went and sat down. Not having been able to relax for a good while. They all yawned at the same time. Upon realizing this, the sisters giggled while the only (living) male chuckled. After a bit of relaxing, a man came walking up to them.
"Come with me." he ordered.
Serena was about to snap at him, but Zack put a hand on her shoulder stopping her. Looking at him, he shook his head. Zack then turns to address the man.
"We'll follow you." Zack said.
The man nods while the group stands and begins to walk with the teens following him. The soon arrive at an elevator and enter inside. Using a special card and putting in a code, the elevator begins to ascend. During the ride nobody said anything for a while, until the man asked a question.
"What is your connection to Leo Akaba?" he asked without looking at them.
"The enemy of my enemy is my friend." Zack simply said.
The man said nothing else as he understood what Zack meant. For them to be against Leo was enough for him… for the moment at least. The elevator soon came to a stop and opened. The man walked out as they followed him. He led them to a set of doors and knocked.
"Enter." a voice simply said.
The man opened the door enough for him to show his body.
"I have brought them sir." the man said.
"Thank you, Nakajima. Bring them in." ? said.
Nakajima nods his head before moving out of the way for Zack and the girls to enter, in which they did. Upon entering they see an office type area with a huge window, showing that they where at the very top of the building. Sitting at a large desk was Reiji Akaba himself and said man was staring at the four as soon as they walked in. Analyzing them with crucial eyes while resting his folded hands under his nose. He already noticed similarities between the girls, one of which looked familiar to him, while the boy looked very much like Yuya Sakaki.
"Welcome." Reiji greeted them as Nakajima stood at his side. "I am Reiji Akaba, CEO of LDS. Although I'm sure you already knew that."
"Pretty much." Zack confirmed with a nod. "To get proper introductions out of the way, I'm Zack Hikari. This is Serena, though you probably remember her from three years ago."
"Yes. I though she looked familiar." Reiji nodded as he placed his hands on the desk and straightened his back. "It is good to see that you are safe and well."
"Same to you." Serena said.
"Next is Rin…" Zack introduced while motioning to the green haired girl before the raven-haired sister. "And Ruri."
"Hey." Rin waved.
"Hello." Ruri bowed.
Reiji nodded to them in greeting before looking at Zack.
"Now with that out of the way, we can get onto important things." Reiji said. "Who are you people and what do you know about my father, Leo Akaba. I can already deduce that you're not from this Dimension, due to us unable to find anything about you in our systems. Meaning some or all of you are from the Fusion Dimension."
"A mix of all three actually." Zack confirms.
"All three?" Nakajima asked.
"You already know that Serena is from Fusion." Zack said. "It's the same for me. We grew up together. Rin is from Synchro and Ruri's from Xyz."
"Xyz." Reiji stated as he looked at her. "Has the attack already started?"
"Yes…" Ruri answered as she looked down in sadness.
Serena and Rin place their hands on her shoulders in comfort. Reiji closed his eyes in respect.
"Then I am deeply sorry." Reiji apologized to her as he reopened his eyes. "You and your people must have suffered much."
"The reason as to why we're here…" Zack started to say as he moved his bag in front of him to get something inside of it. "Is to help you stop his crazy goals."
Both Reiji and Nakajima were surprised, but Reiji's poker face kept his hidden.
"You know what my father is planning?" Reiji asked.
Zack got what he was searching for as he zipped his bag up and placed it down.
"Not fully but enough at the time to realize we needed to leave asap." Zack said. "Everything is right here."
Zack then placed the flash drive on the desk for Reiji to see it. His eyes widened slightly at the sight of it, realizing what Zack meant.
"A lot of the data is encrypted, but again, I deciphered enough to know that he's using the Fusion Dimension duelists like pawns." Zack said. "I was thinking that your company would be able to do the rest."
Reiji nodded and picked up the drive before handing it to Nakajima.
"Nakajima, take this to the research team and have them set up on decrypting it immediately!" Reiji ordered. "I want everything on it readable by next week."
"Right away sir!" Nakajima acknowledged with a bow.
He then took the drive and speed walked out of the office. Reiji looked back to the group.
"You have my thanks. Now we might finally be able to get some answers to so many of our questions." Reiji said.
"Think of it as a sign of trust." Zack said.
"No one who's loyal to the Professor would hand over sensitive information like that." Serena pointed out.
"Indeed." Reiji agreed with a nod.
"Perhaps I can answer some of those questions here." Zack stated.
Everyone looked at him in confusion.
"Oh? How so?" Reiji asked with a raised eyebrow.
"So, you're really going to tell them?" Zarc asked.
(Yeah. They deserve to know.) Zack said. (I mean, their going to find out at the end anyway. Just speeding things up.)
Zarc gave a nod in understanding. Zack took a breath.
"For the past decade, ever since I meet Serena, I've been having these weird dreams. Unsure if its real or not. About a whole different world unlike anything in the four dimensions." Zack said. "They all revolve around one person."
"And who is this person?" Reiji asked.
Zack looked at him before revealing his name.
"A man that goes by the name… Zarc."

(And here we go! Starting the Standard Arc and building connections with Reiji. Say what you will about the guy, but I know I want that guy as a friend who'll back me up in a fight. Not to mention if I'm a little short on cash. Anyways, seems like Zack will be telling the story of the Original Dimension. Then we'll obviously be heading into the duel between Yuya and Sawatari.
