Chapter 5: Stronger

Weeks passed and Sasuke noticed the woman still didn't wake up. He could tell she got progressively better from feeling her energy and she looked healthier. He decided to continue waiting it out and he recently visited the library of the academy to get more knowledge of Remnant. One of the things that interested him was the story of the two Gods;The God of Light and The God of Darkness. He wondered if they were still on Remnant and if he would have to fight them. The Last Uchiha had no doubts he could take them on especially with his new powers he obtained, but only time will tell.

Today though Sasuke was watching what he would call a 'beyond pitiful' match between Jaune and Sardine was it? No Cardin and Cardin was more or less dominating the fight. He might look like Naruto, but he can't rush in blindly and win like him. Thought Sasuke while noticing all the weak points. The match then concluded with Cardin being the victor and Professor Glynda giving Jaune an analysis on his fighting. Jaune looked downcast as she sent them back to their seats.

'Don't worry Jaune, you'll get him next time!' Said Ruby trying to bring his spirit back up.

'Don't let it get to you, vomit boy.' Said Yang while patting his shoulder.

'If you win next time, we'll have a pancake party!' Said a boisterous Nora.

'Try not to get embarrassed next time.' Said Weiss.

Ren gave him a nod and Blake gave him a thumbs up. Pyrrha offered him a supporting smile.

'That was pathetic. You need to get stronger.' Said a blunt Sasuke, deciding to give Jaune a reality check. Everyone except Jaune gave Sasuke a look. He shrugged. Better for him to learn and grow than to give him false hope. Sasuke thought.

At least he kept it real. Jaune thought while hurt, but at the same time respected what Sasuke said. But how do I make it happen?

'Class we have time for one more fight. Any contenders?' Said Professor Glynda.

'I'll go and I'll challenge him!' Said a tall and buff young man. All of his body was covered in knight armor and he had a longsword as a weapon. He pointed at Sasuke.

'Mr. Uchiha do you accept?' Asked Professor Glynda.

Sasuke looked at the person who challenged him. This will be light work. 'Of course.' Said Sasuke as he went down to the fighting area. He then activated his scroll he got from Professor Ozpin a week ago.

'Ready...begin!' Said Professor Glynda as she jumped back.

'Your dead!' Said the swordsman as he launched out with his sword tip in the direction of Sasuke's head. He was a couple inches away. Haha! And this is who killed those Grimm? Yeah right! He thought as his sword tip almost touched Sasuke's forehead.

'And your-' Sasuke started with a smirk 'Irrelevant.' To everyone's eye Sasuke then disappeared.

'W-Wait where'd he go?!' Said the swordsman as he quickly glanced around the area.

'Down here.' The swordsman then looked down as he was met with a hard kick to the face that launched him in the air. Sasuke appeared behind him as he delivered a hard spinning punch and then a hard kick to his abdomen. Before the swordsman met concrete Sasuke punched him again with a lightning encased fist 'Kirin's Barrage!' He roared as he ended his technique. Sasuke then stood tall. Might've been overkill. He thought as he could see smoke coming from the swordsman's body.

'Because his opponent has no more aura, the winner is Sasuke Uchiha!' Professor Glynda announced 'Although a short match, he demonstrated an amazing performance. On that note, class is dismissed.'

Most of everyone cheered as the class ended.

'So Sasuke was like wacha and kacha! Next thing you know boom! The match ended!' Said a rambunctious Nora retelling what happened in the match.

'I think we all saw what happened Nora.' Said Ren.

'I still wanna know how you disappeared like that.' Said Yang looking at Sasuke.

If only you knew I didn't disappear. 'Magic.' Sasuke replied after he finished a tomato.

'Awe unfair, pretty please handsome?' Said Yang in a sultry voice while leaning her cleavage towards Sasuke.

'No.' Sasuke replied again not even looking at Yang.

Yang's eyes widened. Don't tell me..'Uh Sasuke?'

Sasuke looked up at her 'Yes?'

'You're not Sas-gaay? Are you?' Asked Yang.

It took everything in Sasuke not to Chibaku Tensei all of Remnant just then. An angry tick mark throbbed on his forehead 'No I'm Not.' He replied lividly.

Yang waved her hands out. 'Whoa calm down handsome, just checking.'

Everyone at the table laughed except Jaune.

'Jaune. Are you okay?' Asked a concerned Pyrrha.

Jaune perked up 'Huh? Yeah why?'

'It's just that you seem a little not okay.' Said Ruby.

'Guys, I'm fine. Seriously, look..' Jaune gave a thumbs up and slight chuckle.

Ouch it hUrts!

Everyone turned as they saw Cardin pulling on a bunny Faunus's ears.

PleAse stop!

PleAse stop! The familiar two words echoed in Sasuke's mind as he looked at the scene. He could see a younger version of himself weeping and crying, yelling towards the heavens to stop the images of his family dying from repeating in his head. It was just him then, now it's someone else. No. He thought with a fiery calmness. Sasuke then appeared next to Cardin.

'Well well look what we got here. Your savior?' Cardin then continued the pulling and laughed along with his teammates.

Sasuke grabbed Cardin's wrist and slammed him with enough force to dent the floor.

'Cardin!' His teammate then threw a punch towards Sasuke's way. Sasuke parried it and punched him out cold. He then threw his body at the two other teammates he saw coming, and both got knocked back hard into a wall.

Sasuke picked Cardin up by the throat and slammed him into a nearby wall. He looked at him with the infamous Rinne-Sharingan 'If you ever touch her or any Faunus like that again. I assure you-' Sasuke then whispered in his ear 'I will fucking kill you slowly. Do I make myself clear?'

A petrified Cardin nodded.

'Good.' Sasuke deactivated his Rinne-Sharingan and dropped Cardin ungracefully. Finally being able to move, Cardin got his teammates and left.

Sasuke noticed the bunny Faunus was still in the same spot.

'Are you alright?' He asked with a concerned look on his face.

'Y-Yes I-I'm fine. T-Thank you for helping me.' She replied with a hard blush.

'Don't mention it. What's your name?' Sasuke asked.

'V-Velvet yours?' Velvet asked.

'Sasuke Uchiha. Nice meeting you Velvet.' Sasuke said as he went back to his seat.

'Y-You too.' A blushing Velvet said back with a smile.

Hn? I guess you don't need a mission for REP and closeness. I'm guessing it increased with Blake because she's a Faunus? Sasuke wondered as he sat back down.

'That was really nice of you Sasuke.' Said a smiling Blake. 'Usually one Faunus doesn't stand up when another Faunus is getting bullied like that.'

'It was the right thing to do.' Said Sasuke with a shrug.

'You looked really angry. Are you alright Sasuke?' Asked Ruby with concern evident.

Sasuke nodded. 'Yes, he just pissed me off that's all.'

'You're not so bad for a Faunus, Uchiha.' Weiss started 'Cardin typically bullies people and I can speak for everyone when I say he had it coming to him.' she finished.

I wish I could be able to stand up to him like that. Thought a downcast Jaune. He then remembered what Sasuke told him. But how exactly can I get stronger? Wait! Jaune then got a big idea.
