Chapter 7: Forever Fall

'I told you this wasn't going to be easy.' Said Sasuke to an exhausted and drained Jaune. Jaune found himself up early in the morning training with Sasuke. They were in one of the training rooms of the academy. The Last Uchiha came knocking on their dorm room door looking for him, and of course he didn't feel like getting up. Pyrrha of course pushed him out the door and gave Sasuke a thumbs up.

'D-Doesn't make me feel any better.' Said Jaune releasing many breaths as he was done with the 50 laps Sasuke told him to do. Oh did he forget to mention with 100 pound leg weights on?

'Hn tough luck, but lucky for you training is over. Next time I will start teaching you the fundamentals of using your sword.' Said Sasuke.

Jaune could only nod and he exited with a limp in his walk. Sasuke actually had ideas on what to do for Jaune's training. He wondered if he could boost the process by transferring chakra to him. He knew it would for sure make the process go by much smoother. He must prove himself first. The Last Uchiha thought. He wasn't just going to give Jaune unknown power if he didn't have what it takes. One of the reasons Sasuke decided to train Jaune is because he reminded him of Naruto a bit. Not only in looks, but they had the same conviction and determination needed to reach greater heights. But those are thoughts for later. He decided and left.

The Last Uchiha could see Ruby and a still exhausted Jaune in the hallway.

'Oh hey Sasuke! Its been a while.' A smiling Ruby said, noticing him first.

'O-Oh don't tell me you changed your mind?' Said Jaune almost horrified.

'Yes it has been a while since our last..encounter Ruby.' Said Sasuke, slightly amused. 'And no Jaune unless you want?'

'Nah I'm good.' Said Jaune with swiftness.

Oh yeah that. A blushing Ruby chuckled. 'We were just talking about the training you put him through. Jaune said it was horrible.'

'Because it was!' Said a fatigued Jaune.

'Good, I'm glad it was. You should head to sleep now because it's the same time tomorrow.' Sasuke told him.

'R-Right bye guys!' Jaune then returned back into his team's room.

'That's my call too. I'll see you tomorrow Sasuke!' Said Ruby returning back to her team's room also.

Sasuke decided that he wanted to check on his Shadow Clones because he wasn't tired at all. He made it back into his room, and used Kamui to enter the Kamui dimension. He looked around and noticed his clones were training hard. One of the clones came up to him.

'Hey Boss we found some interesting information.' The clone said.

Sasuke gave a go on gesture.

'Well apparently you can combine the Yin and Yang Release to create your own nine tailed beasts.' Said the clone.

'Interesting information indeed. Will they be like the tailed beasts of my old world?' Sasuke questioned.

'They will be similar, but they will be completely loyal to you only.' The clone replied.

'That's fine with me.' Sasuke nodded towards the clone and sent him back.

So I just need to combine Yin and Yang release huh? Creating tailed beasts completely loyal to him was extremely beneficial to Sasuke. It allowed for another array of abilities and power. That in itself was okay with him. Plus I won't have to tame them or worry about someone taking them. Sasuke would treat them like he treats Aoda and Garuda. He didn't see a reason why he shouldn't.

[Would you like to create the nine tailed beasts?] [Yes] or [No]

Sasuke pressed yes.

[Do you want them sealed inside of you?] [Yes] or [No]

Sasuke pressed yes again.

{This will take a while to be in effect. You will be notified when the process is done.}

Sasuke nodded. Everything's coming together nicely. He decided it was time to go, so he left the clones back to their training.

-Cutscene-

'Yes students, the forest of Forever Fall is indeed beautiful, but we are not here to sightsee. Professor Peaches asked all of you to get samples from the trees deep inside of this forest, and I'm here to make sure none of you die while doing so.' Professor Goodwitch started. 'Everyone is to collect a sample of the tree sap. Be careful though as this forest is filled with Grimm. We will meet back here at 4.' She then sent everyone on their way.

Sasuke noticed Team CRDL traveling deep in the forest with a box of something with them. They better not try anything. He thought with a cold glare towards them.

'You alright Uchiha?' Sasuke heard Weiss say as she pulled up beside him.

Sasuke relaxed his face. 'Hn just fine.' He then pulled out a Kunai and stabbed a hole in a tree to collect sap.

'Oooh weapon, what kind is it?!' Said an energetic Ruby pulling up beside them. 'Now that I think about it, you've never showed us your weapon. Can I see it please?Pleeaasee?' She begged Sasuke with puppy eyes.

Sasuke put up the Kunai. 'Well that was just a Kunai. Here's my real weapon.' He said as he took out the Kusanagi and handed it to Ruby.

'Yay!' Ruby said in joy. She then began inspecting the weapon. 'Light but strong and flexible. Extremely sharp edge and the handle-' She then swung it a couple of times. 'Just sweet! What's the name?' She asked Sasuke.

'It's called the Kusanagi.' Sasuke responded.

'K-Kusanagi?What does that mean?' Asked a perplexed Ruby.

'It means grass-cutting sword.' Said an approaching Blake with Yang in tow. 'Although I didn't know you were into the Mistralian usage of words Sasuke.'

Sasuke shrugged then took his sword back from Ruby after she was done.

'Why hello handsome. Would you mind if I feel on your sword also?' Said Yang rubbing on Sasuke's chest.

Weiss and Blake blushed while Ruby was confused.

'P-Pervert!' Weiss said while glaring at Yang.

'Huh? She just wants to see the Kusanagi also.' Said a naive Ruby.

Before Sasuke could reply, the group heard a scream. They saw some members of Team CRDL running their way. 'Ursa! Ursa!' One of them yelled. Yang grabbed hold of him. 'Where?!' She asked with urgency. 'Over there they have Cardin!' He told her.

Team JNPR ran up beside the group.

'Cardin was trying to throw a jar of tree sap at Jaune, but I caught him and shot the jar.' Pyrrha started to explain. 'The tree sap then wasted all over him and now an Ursa is on him.' She finished.

'Yang, you and Blake go get Professor Goodwitch.' Directed Ruby. 'You two go with could be more' Pyrrha told Nora and Ren.

The three huntresses noticed Jaune and Sasuke were already gone.

'We must hurry!' Said Ruby as she led them to the rest.

He's improved. Sasuke thought slightly impressed on how Jaune was maneuvering around the Ursa. He was originally going to help Jaune finish the Ursa, but it looks like he has it handled. He noticed Ruby, Weiss, and Pyrrha run up beside him.

'Why aren't you helping him, Sasuke?' Asked Ruby about to join in the fight.

'Because he needs this. Let him handle it.' Sasuke responded.

The four noticed Jaune and the Ursa about to clash. Sasuke could see Jaune's shield in the wrong position. He was about to help him until he saw Pyrrha raise her hand out and his shield protected him from the Ursa's blow. He then sliced its head off.

'How did you?' Weiss questioned.

'Well Ruby has her speed, Sasuke is..Sasuke, you have your Glyphs and my semblance is polarity.'

'Oh you can control poles.' Said Ruby.

'No you dunce, she has control over magnetism.' Said Weiss

'Magnets are cool too.' Said Ruby.

Sasuke looked at the aftermath and then at Jaune. He's ready. He then nodded as he started to leave.

Pyrrha started to follow after Sasuke.

'Wait where are you guys going we must tell them.' Ruby inquired.

We could or we can keep it as our secret.' Said Pyrrha as she continued to follow after Sasuke.

-Cutscene-

'I would like to thank you and Sasuke. You guys didn't have to start training me, for that I thank you.' Said a grateful Jaune.

A happy Pyrrha smiled. 'It only gets harder from this point forward Jaune. Just keep pushing.'

'She's right. We can only help you get so far. The rest is on you.' Said Sasuke.

'I know I know. I will continue to push forward no matter what.' Said Jaune, resolution clear in his voice.

I will be Hokage no matter what. Believe it! The memory played in Sasuke's head as he looked at the scene with a sad smile.
