Chapter 9:Coming to Senses Pt. 2

Sasuke spotted Blake talking to another Faunus. Sasuke figured he was a monkey Faunus based on the tail he saw. Sasuke walked towards them.

The two noticed. 'Who's he? Came outta nowhere.' Sun asked, perplexed.

'His name is Sasuke. Sasuke, what are you doing here?' A confused Blake asked.

While up close Sasuke noticed Blake's cat ears. Sasuke of course knew she was a Faunus, but a cat Faunus he wouldn't have thought. Dare I say she looks cute? Sasuke thought mildly amused. Being apart of a clan with a cat as the signature animal made this kind of ironic.

Sasuke started to walk closer to Blake.

Blake began to blush. 'W-wha are you doing?'

Sasuke reached his hand out and gave her ears a soothing scratch. 'Don't put that bow back on. You look better without it.'

[Blake will remember that.]

Blake was speechless. She became red as a tomato. Sasuke's scratches making her weak to the knees. If he keeps going-

'Okay okay that's enough Casanova. What are you doing here?' Sun asked, slightly envious.

Sasuke stopped, then looked at Blake. 'The others told me what happened. I'm coming with you.'

Blake took a couple breaths to get herself together then started 'I-I don't think you should-'

Sasuke interrupted. 'I wasn't asking.'

'Well if you're joining the party, my name's Sun Wukong.' Sun held his hand out.

Sasuke looked at his hand then looked at him. 'Sasuke Uchiha.' He said not shaking his hand.

Sun gave an awkward chuckle. 'Well let's get this show on the road.'

-Cutscene-

'Would you like some coffee Sasuke?' Blake asked with a slight blush. Still can't believe that happened. She thought.

'Hn no.' Sasuke decided to be blunt. 'Are you still a member of the White Fang Blake?'

Sasuke did his research. He already knew how innocent the White Fang was in the beginning and the changes to violence overtime. Unfortunately for Blake, if she still was a member, he would have to deal with her. He sincerely hoped that wasn't the case.

'Wait you were with the White Fang?! Wouldn't have guessed.' Said Sun surprised.

'I left when the White Fang used their tactics for fear instead of peace and unity. That's why I originally joined.' A reminiscing Blake said.

This reminded Sasuke of the war. Madara wanted true peace, but in the end it resulted in countless deaths. Violence was needed in order for unity between the nations. Power was respected. Sasuke could commend Blake for stepping out of it though. It could be hard fighting darkness until it consumes you. He would know.

'You are brave for fighting for a change in a different way. Standing for what's right, yet staying true to your character. I commend you for it.' Said Sasuke with a proud look.

Blake gave him a full smile. 'Thank you Sasuke. I really appreciate that. Ever since I was younger I could remember wanting to fight for us, but I will keep doing it the right way.'

Sasuke nodded. 'Keep that mindset and it will get you far. Stay true to yourself and be strong in your work.'

[Blake will remember that.]

A flustered Blake smiled and nodded. 'Yes of course.'

'So what's the plan now.' Asked Sun.

Blake started. 'Well I want to see if the White Fang is really behind all of these robberies, but I wonder how we can do it?'

'Well while I was on the ship, the crew mentioned a big load of dust coming to the shipping dock. Best place to check would be there.' Suggested Sun.

'Then that's where we head. Ready Sasuke?' Blake asked.

Sasuke nodded and then the trio left.

-Cutscene-

'If I had friends I would want them to talk to me about things.' Even though her sister and Weiss didn't give the strange girl Penny a chance, Ruby decided she would. Yeah she may be weird, but she could tell she was cool.

'Yeah, me too, but our friend Sasuke says he will talk to her.' Said Ruby.

Penny looked at Ruby for a second. 'What is Sasuke to you?' She asked.

An image of Sasuke saving her popped into her mind. Sasuke also motivating and inspiring her to be a leader also entered her mind. She began to blush, but smiled. 'A really good friend.' The Rose said.

'Oh really.' Penny started, then she looked at Ruby with a smile. 'I hope he can be my friend too.'

'I'm sure he will, but let's go back to looking for Blake.' Said Ruby.

-Cutscene-

Sasuke wondered what the White Fang would do with so much dust. It could be for an army behind the scenes. He thought. But it seems like it's for something big. Maybe for an ex-

'Oh no..' Said Blake with dread.

The group can see the White Fang arrive at the shipping dock.

'Is that them?' Sun asked.

'Yes it's them.' Answered Blake.

Sasuke looked and wasn't impressed. Well whatever it's for I'll be ready. He ended his thoughts. 'Do the White Fang also have a human leader?'

'No, this isn't White Fang would never have a human as their leader.' Blake stood up and unsheathed her weapon. She then began making her way to the leader.

'Hey, wait up!' Sun ran after Blake.

Sasuke decided he would sit back and watch. He will intervene when he needs to.

'Tell me who you are and what you are doing with the White Fang human.' Blake had the leader by the throat with her weapon after sneaking up on him.

'Why don't mind if I do. The name's Roman Torchwick and the other part is none of your business.' A smiling Roman said unconcerned.

'Tell me what it is or I'll put an end to your little operation.' Blake bought her weapon closer to his neck.

'Well I wouldn't call it a little operation.' Roman said as he looked up to see more White Fang bullheads.

Sasuke noticed Roman twitch his weapon as Blake was distracted. He acted with quickness.

BOOM

An explosion went off.

'You okay?' Sasuke asked with Blake in his arms.

Blake recovered and smiled at him. 'Y-Yeah thanks.' Sasuke then put her down.

'He's mine.' Blake pointed at Roman then got ready.

Sasuke shrugged then faced the grunts. He could see at least 50 of them. Now Sasuke could really handle this with his eyes closed and incapacitated. He might as well get this over with.

-Blink-

He sighed. What weaklings. All of the grunts were knocked out on the ground. Sasuke barely even hit them hard. He turned and could see Roman pointed his weapon at Sun. Before he could react

'Hey!' Said Ruby introducing herself.

'Why why Red isn't it past your bedtime?' Said Roman now directing his weapon towards her.

'Ruby, are these your friends?' Asked Penny walking up.

Ruby turned. 'Penny stand back.'

Sasuke immediately saw what was about to happen and acted accordingly.

BOOM

Sasuke held Ruby in his arms on the roof where she arrived. How many times do I have to save them? He thought.

'O-Oh thanks for s-saving me again Sasuke.' Ruby's face was heated. It felt nice being in his arms again.

'Don't mention it.' Sasuke then looked at the girl Ruby bought with her. Something feels off about her. For a millisecond Sasuke activated his Sharingan. It can't be..she's the robot..

Penny looked at Roman with a livid expression. She walked towards him.

'Wait stop!' Ruby exclaimed, jumping out of Sasuke's arms.

'Don't worry Ruby, I'm combat ready.' A confident Penny said.

The two then saw an array of blades come from Penny and watched her fight off the White Fang.

Sasuke noticed the metal wires attached to the blades coming out of Penny's back. Reminds me of the ninja wire. He thought.

More bullheads pulled up until Penny blasted them to pieces. Sasuke looked at Roman sneaking off in one of the last bullheads. He thought how easy it would be to use Bansho Tenin to bring the bullhead back, but figured he let him escape for now.

'You must be Sasuke.' Sasuke turned to see the robot girl walk toward him. 'Hn who are you?' He asked.

'My name is Penny. Ruby told me all about you. I was wondering, can you be my friend too?' Penny looked at him with a smile.

Better an ally than a foe. Sasuke shrugged. 'Sure. Suit yourself.'

'Yay! More friends' Penny jumped with excitement.

I regret this already. Sasuke thought with annoyance. He looked to the side and could see Team RWBY reconciling and becoming one as a team again. Might as well leave them to it. He thought. He quickly teleported to his room before they could see him.
