The beast in me is caged by frail and fragile bars. Restless by day and night. Rants and rages by the start. God help the beast in me.

Phil felt every ache and pain throughout his body. He was drenched in sweat, his shirt open and the blinding light was seeping in through the blinds. "What the hell," he muttered with groan as he turned over to his back.

The beast in me has had to learn to live with pain and how to shelter from the rain and in the twinkling of an eye, might have to be restrained. God help the beast in me.

Getting to his feet, Phil stood up and made his way over to the yellow window. His fingers found his sunglasses and he put them on his face to block the light. Behind him he heard a thud and saw Alan had fallen off the bunk bed he had laid on.

"What?" he mumbled. Alan groaned but stood up slowly as well.

"Phil, I think it's happened again." Alan had walked over and whispered his words.

"Alan, what the fuck did you do?" asked Phil trying to form his own words as the foul air surrounded them.

"I didn't do anything I swear to God," he swore. Phil looked at Alan taking a closer look at the man.

"Your hair is gone." Alan reached down to his beard and Phil stopped him. "No. No. Up," he said pointing up. Alan smiled and laughed at his bald head but Phil was concerned.

"Where the fuck are we?" he mumbled as a strange noise surrounded them. All the electronic things went dead and Alan stepped closer to Phil.

"Phil I'm scared," he whispered. In another room, there was some moaning and Phil knocked Alan over the coffee table to go see what it was.

"Stu, come on get up," he said loudly clapping his hands. "We got a situation—" But the moment that Stu turned over in the bath tub, he covered his mouth. "Oh, holy shit," he mumbled from behind his hand.

"Where are we?" asked Stu quietly trying to wake up fully. "Oh my God Alan, your head."

"No, your head," said Alan in shock.

"He's bald," Stu whispered to the taller man.

"Stu, you're gonna freak out but it's gonna be okay," offered Phil as Stu stood up without any pants on.

"Why is it my teeth?" asked Stu, stepping out of the tub and walking to the mirror.

"No it's not your teeth."

"Are you sure, it's not my teeth?"

"Yep," confirmed Phil.

Stu had walked to the mirror and observed his features, or rather one that was black on the side of his face. "OH MY GOD! WHAT THE FUCK!" Stu tried furiously to rub at the tattoo but it pained him doing so. He let a loud cry as the pain struck.

"Yeah. That's… why don't you just rub it off!" smirked Phil with an internal laugh.

"It's not coming off! This is real tattoo. Alan what did you do! Did you roofie me?" shouted Stu turning on Alan, a snarl at the ready.

"I didn't do anything," he answered with concern.

"Stu, he swore to God," said Phil holding his hands up. Stu let out a loud sign asking again what happened. Just then a small animal jumped down onto Stu's neck, giving the men all a scream to let out. The men went around in a circle until the small animal jumped onto the railing of the shower.

"What the hell?" yelled Stu still in fright.

"Oh, it's a monkey!" exclaimed Alan walking toward it. "Look at the cute little vest!"

"Alan," Phil warned but right as Alan got close enough it slapped Alan's hand.

"Butt hole," Alan said to it. From the other room, the vibrating sound of someone's cell phone rang out.

"Alan! Alan, go find the phone!" snapped off Phil walking into the room he woke up in. Spotting the phone, he shouted he had it.

"I got! Doug! Doug where the hell are ya?" he yelled into the receiver.

There was a bit of confused noise coming from Doug but he replied a moment later. "I'm at breakfast by the pool. You guys coming down or what?"

"Oh Jesus, thank God! Doug's fine," he added to Alan as the man appeared unwell about Doug's fate. "Stu! Doug's fine. He's at the resort!" Phil shouted throughout the room.

"Why aren't we at the resort?" called back Stu.

"What's going on? Where are you guys?" asked Doug, concern ridding him of thinking straight. Where was Jess too? She hadn't come back up to get Jack so that left Doug and Tracy to handle their nephew as he slept fitfully the whole night without his parents. Jason never showed up either until much later after Jack was asleep. He claimed he had gone to a bar and spent much too long talking to his daughter's mother. This confused Doug and Tracy but they let it slide.

"I don't know man. We woke up in some shit-hole room in some city," Phil said into the phone.

"Oh God. What city?" Doug worried more now. Jess, Phil, Alan, Stu, and Teddy were missing in some faraway place!

"I don't know Doug. Fuckin' Asia-town! I don't get man. We each had one beer last night. You too," shouted Phil throwing his arms around.

"But I left early remember," said Doug.

"I don't remember shit," stated Phil firmly. Doug sighed as he recalled the evening before.

"Tracy wasn't feeling well. She came down to get me. What a second is Teddy with you guys? And Jess?"

"Teddy? What? What are you talking about?"

Doug sighed. "He wasn't in his room. They've been looking for him all morning!"

"Teddy went to Stanford right?" asked Phil seeing something on the table and picking it up.

"Yeah. Why?" Phil's eyes got wide and he threw down Teddy's finger.

"I just found his finger!" he snapped off as his legs buckled and he sat back down on the bed.

"What?" asked Doug hoping he hadn't heard that right.

"I just found his fucking finger Doug," said Phil in between breaths.

"Phil what is going on? Where is my sister?!" he demanded. Doug could honestly say he cared not about Teddy but more so his own flesh and blood sister.

"Alright, alright, alright, alright, alright; this is what we are gonna do. When the girls get up, tell we went on a fishing trip. That's where we are," instructed Phil over the phone.

"Right, but what about my sister—" interrupted Doug again worried about Jess. She had never shown up either.

"Stay by the phone," Phil said quickly into the phone and then promptly hanging up. As he clicked the phone off, his eyes scanned the room again looking for some kind of clue. All he saw was a shitty room but there on the bottom bunk was something that caught his attention.

It was the left foot of a brown leather cowboy boot, and in it was a small feathered earring and a black bra sized 32C. There was something else in the toe of the boot but he didn't care enough to look. He went to get it, thinking nothing of it and went over to his friends. They were kneeling on the floor staring at something.

"Alright we got a little bit of problem," he said, but was stopped too by the sight. "What is that?"

"We don't know," whispered Stu.

After much debate of what it was and then the monkey coming over, the monkey licked the … whatever it was….

"Why is he pulling on it?" questioned Stu.

"He's probably hungry," offered Alan as an answer but Phil looked closer.

"Wait a second is that –" he said loudly but whatever it was jumped up starling them away.

"AAH! WHAT THE FUCK MAN!" shouted the body under the blankets as they were tossed aside. "Tell that gay monkey to leave my shit alone!"

"CHOW!" screamed Phil after taking several steps back. Chow stood up fully and they saw Chow in all his glory again. It was one thing that they didn't want to see again. The boot in Phil's hand fell and landed with a thud on the floor by Stu's hand, but he was too shocked to notice it.

"You fucker crazy. You and that girl!" he said pointing at Phil. "So fucking light in here! Alan? Grab me my sunglasses," requested Chow, covering his eyes but not his penis. Stu and Phil tried hard to think of why Chow would be with them again.

"It's great to see you Leslie," smiled Alan walking over to give Chow a big hug. It was very awkward to say the least.

"Mmm, nice to see you too my little hobo," smirked Chow as Alan turned to get his sunglasses off the table.

"Chow, what the fuck are you doing here?" demanded Phil. Chow had finally taken the liberty of pulling up his bikini underwear on his small body, after giving a look of confusion at them. Phil looked at Stu who pushed himself back against the floor.

"Alan called me a few days ago and invited me to wedding," replied Chow walking over to the couch by the dirty yellow window.

"Excuse me?" questioned Stu.

"What? He's my plus one?" answered Alan quickly.

"You didn't have a plus one. Jess has a plus one and that's Jack!

"No that's Jason—" argued Alan as Stu stood up fully.

"It's 200 a plate!" Stu snapped off giving Alan a look of death. Phil sighed loudly and threw his arms up.

"Guys, guys just focus okay? Chow what happened?" Phil quickly asked.

They looked at Chow with intense determination to know why they got there and how they were separated from the others. Jess was probably back at the resort with that dick head Marshall and all Phil wanted was to make sure she was okay.

"You guys texted me, said you fucked up and looking to party," Chow said interrupting Phil's thoughts.

Chow and Alan shared a moment of laughter as Phil and Stu exchanged a look of concern. It happened indeed again. Hopefully Jess wasn't pulled into this since she was nowhere to be found.

"I picked you up in my boat and I brought you here to Bangkok," explained Chow pushing his hair back. "And we had a sick night bitches!"

"Whoa. Whoa. Wait. Wait, wait. Wait a second Chow," said Phil waving his hand around in confusion as Chow sat down on the sofa. "Chow we're in Bangkok?"

Chow let out a loud cheer. "Holler! City of squalor!"

Phil looked down and sighed. Stu spoke up a moment later pointing at his face.

"Do you know how I got this tattoo?" he bravely asked the mostly naked man.

"Uh yeah, from a fucking tattoo guy. Come on Stu-ie use that big Jewish brain." Chow smiled reaching for something on the table. Phil held his head in his hands and let out several breaths to control hitting Chow for bringing them here.

"Hey what's the monkey holding?" Alan asked pointing to Phil's left. Phil looked over and fainted back against the sofa that he and Chow shared. Stu and Alan saw the monkey chewing on a long object and holding a pink feathered earring in its other hand. After a moment of Stu shouting incoherent words, Phil leaned forward and bravely spoke up.

"Stu, I got some bad news. Teddy was with us last night," he began in ragged breaths. "That's his finger."

"Teddy's dead!" Stu shouted, fear and panic beginning to set in.

"Teddy not dead," stated Chow firmly. "He party with us all night."

"Well then where is he?" Phil demanded sternly and confused. This Asian bastard was getting on his nerves.

"Where is Jess?" asked Alan quietly looking at Stu who nodded in agreement. Phil was so focused on Chow and didn't see the nodding between Alan and Stu.

"Don't you remember anything?" he asked looking around at the three men in the room. When they shook their heads and replied no, he smiled big. "Okay okay. I explain it all, okay? Just let me do one bump, get my head straight." He leant down and took the hit as the others watched in awe.

"That's a big—" but Phil was too late. Chow took the hit and twitched a moment before looking at Phil.

"You ready for craziest fucking story of….." but then suddenly Chow wasn't talking and just went forward on the table making it break into several thousand pieces.

"Chow?" yelled Phil rubbing his shoulder. His eyes widened in fear. Looking at Stu and Alan, they were equally concerned.

"Mr. Chow are you okay?" Alan asked kindly, hoping his friend was okay.

"You gotta be kidding me?" Phil leaned over to shake Chow's shoulder before placing his hands on the man's neck checking for the heartbeat. He stood up violently, throwing his arms in the air and proclaiming, "Fuck he's dead".

Instantly Stu began to make some weird noise and heavy breathing before he started screaming. "Help!" he screamed loudly.

"Stu, shut up. Stu shut up. Stu shut up!" Phil shouted in anger at his friend. As moment later, Alan began a high-pitched whine that only Phil had ever heard from his son and Jack.

"Call an ambulance!" Stu shouted in the empty room.

"Shut up. He's dead," snapped off Phil, a bit more of anger than usual in his tone. "Look if someone comes in here and finds a dead body and a pile of cocaine, we'll spend the rest of our lives in a fucking Thai prison!" He shouted the last words and tried to think of way to shut his friends up. "SHH!" Pressing his finger against his mouth, it calmed Stu down but now Alan had begun making whale noises.

"Alan, Alan, please stop crying," he offered, not really giving a fuck about Alan. He promptly closed his mouth and the whinnying stopped a moment later. "Alright alright! I just need a second to figure this out."

Phil sat down in the chair that the monkey had occupied a moment ago and pushing his hair back against his temple. There had to be somewhere they could hide Chow's body. Glancing around the room, his eyes settled on the ICE 15TH FLOOR tab sign on the coffee table. Instructing his friends, he and Stu picked up Chow and made their way out the door. Alan, remembering to grab the cowboy boot, hurried along after Phil and Stu.

"This is the worse idea ever," muttered Stu quietly.

"What the fuck is this place?" asked Phil out loud.

"Bangkok is the capital of Thailand. Its population is 12 million people—" Alan read from his cards.

"Alan, put the cards away now please," insisted Stu. They came around the corner and Stu motioned that the elevator was near. Alan pushed the button and a moment later, Phil and Stu moaned when the door didn't open.

"The power's out!" he groaned as Stu turned around. So, he and Stu went to the fifteen-floor struggling all along the way. Stu shouted that the ice machine was to the right of them and finally after a heavy push, Chow lay in the machine. Phil's fingers clamped the lock and it clicked in place after a moment. He slid down to the floor and looked at Stu.

"Stu?" he asked of his friend.

"What?" questioned Stu, his eyes still closed.

"We still have to find Teddy."

"Oh God," he muttered back. Just then, suddenly Stu's eyes opened, remembering from Vegas where they found Doug. Maybe Teddy was there. They had done this now twice maybe they would repeat the same mistakes.

"The roof!" he shouted and they bolted up the stairs.

"TEDDY!" Stu shouted as he kicked the door open. Behind him Phil and Alan began yelling for Teddy as well.

"TEDDY!" Phil called but nothing came back. "You guys see anything?"

Alan shook his head but then Stu let out a loud shrilling sound. His eyes fell on an odd shadow from inside one of the roof's shabby sheds near the door they exited from.

"JESS!" he screamed running into the shed with Phil and Alan behind.

"WHAT!" yelled Phil turning sharply.

"JESS! SHE'S HERE! LOOK!" exclaimed Stu pointing to the ground where a small lump lay.

There lay Jess covered with a thin blanket. Stu reached down to her pulling the blanket aside and there they saw a nasty red cut across her shoulder. Her eyes were open slightly as they approached. Her hair though was a different length than before. The crown was the longest part while the undercut was right near her scalp. Her eyes fluttered and slowly settled on Stu's worried face.

"Hey," Stu said sweetly helping her sit up. She stared at him until finally she grasped his hands.

"Stu?" she asked softly, nearly in a whisper. A moment later her weak voice spoke again. "Wha… where… am I?"

Stu cupped her face and his eyes widened at the state of her body. She was in the same clothes, though a bit torn up, and on her right leg was a brown cowboy boot.

"Where is my other boot?" she asked looking around at the men around her. Seeing her boot in Alan's hand, she reached for it. There on her thigh was a small bruise most likely from sleeping on the concrete. But there one severe one on her inner thigh, and this worried Stu and Phil the most.

"Are you okay?" asked Phil kneeling down. Jess shook her head and just stared at the ground. Her eyes began to tear up and he dropped to the ground instantly wrapping his arms around her. Stu stood up and pulled Alan away for a moment. Alan, however, did not seem to understand and spoke up loudly causing Phil to give him a stern look over his shoulder. Jess did not notice one bit and continued to sob into Phil's chest.

"That's cute. Phil's all—" started up Alan but Stu hushed him quiet.

"Not right now Alan" he warned as Phil let out his held breath, emitting a small nearly silent sob. It was bitter sweet but Stu knew that Phil had to tend to Jess before they did anything else. Jess had to wake up a bit more awake before they came up with a plan. As Stu and Alan remained outside, Phil looked her over. Her body was bruised in several places as he gently ran his hands over her. From her tensing up, he knew she was in a lot of pain. Helping her stand, she withdrew her bra and earring from the boot with a smile.

"I'm so fucking sorry," he said holding her tank in his hands.

"Why? Did Alan do something?" she asked with a small frown as she removed her spaghetti strap and cover over. Exposing her breasts, Phil looked around to make sure Stu had removed Alan, which he had.

"He swore to God," answered Phil standing up with Jess slowly adjusting her clothing after putting her bra back on. "I didn't know your breasts got bigger."

"Having a kid does that to you. And that don't mean shit Phil about Alan," she replied giving him a smirk, and then a frown crossed her face.

"Yeah, well it's Alan," muttered Phil standing in front of her feeling extremely happy she was alright. The blanket she had been using looked like one from the room they were in. It was nasty and dirty but at least she was covered. Reaching down, Jess picked up the left boot and turned it upside down. There fell out about four condoms.

"What the fuck?" she said loudly grinning at Phil. One even was used. Thank God she wore socks last night.

"I can't believe this happened again," moaned Stu looking out in the Bangkok skyline. Phil turned around and faced the group after a moment.

"Okay look we'll handle this. You go back with Jess and you tell them that Alan and I got drunk with him. We're still partying. That way Doug don't kill me!" stated Phil certainly. "You gotta go get married!

"No. no," protested Stu. "I'm not going back without Teddy. Its Lauren's little brother. He's lost, he's injured. If I fuck this up, I lose everything," stated Stu in a matter of fact tone.

"Except the clinic. That's yours," smirked Jess, a grin crossing her face as she shielded the bright sun from her eyes.

"Shut up!" Stu shouted.

"Don't tell her to shut up!" snapped Phil taking a step closer to Stu and nearly got the doctor within his grasp.

"Make me fucking asshole! Huh why don't you just make me!" Stu shouted pushing Phil's hands down.

"Guys. Guys! GUYS!" Jess screamed standing between Stu and Phil. Her heart was beating against her chest, and it showed as she held her arms out between them. "We can't fight! We need to find Teddy! We can't fight like damn animals! And besides I have to stand by Stu on this, Phil."

Her eyes scanned Phil's lowered face, Stu's determined one, and Alan was just staring at her oddly.

"We came here together. We all leave together," she said firmly eyeing each of them closely. Looking around, they each nodded in agreement.

"Alright. Alright," said Phil. He began reaching for his pocket and instructed for Alan to do the same.

"What?" he questioned.

"You know the drill. Come on there might be clues."

Stu stepped up and began withdrawing from his pockets too. "Check your phones. Numbers, texts," he offered.

"Oh that's a good idea," agreed Phil grabbing his.

"I didn't have anything on me guys!" said Jess through her arms out. "See nothing since you had my fucking boot—"

"Phil found your boot—" commented Stu giving her a look of worry.

"Filled with condoms!"

"Well check the other fucking one then," snapped Phil after withdrawing several coins and few dollars from his pockets. Jess walked over and slid the left boot off her leg and shook it upside down.

"See nothing," she said loudly pulling back onto her leg.

"Then just stand there!" he snapped off before returning to his findings.

"Fuck you too," she muttered back. As they went through things, Alan spoke up suddenly.

"—I got a text from Chow."

"What time?" asked Stu.

"Uh, 10:00 last night. On my way niggas. Oh niggas. Hip hop," Alan read from his phone.

Phil and Stu shared a moment of fuck before turning to Jess. Even she didn't know what to do. They were seriously fucked.

"We are so fucked," Stu heavily breathed.

"Hey Phil!" called Alan point to something behind Jess.

"What?"

"Look who's back!" he smiled big. Jess turned see a monkey wearing a vest.

"Oh that's cute!" she said loudly beginning to walk over. Behind her Phil spoke again.

"We gotta get you out of the sun," he said rubbing Alan's bald head. "Get you a hat and you something to cover your shoulders."
