He headed back to join the rest of the class, managing to eat lunch in the company cafeteria after paying for it, with the girls sitting with him. Jean replied, "Well, looks like you were right, Gwen. Hardly anything exciting happens on those trips, and then today...seeing Flash freak out by that spider in the cage, and the bite on your hand. You sure you feel good, Peter?".

"I'm alright...", Peter told her. "They said I should be fine, just keep treating it for a few days and it'll go away.".

"That's good...", Gwen nodded. "Pretty sure you'd be good, considering there's no way they would've let us be within a mile of those spiders if they were like... really deadly.".

"How deadly are we talking?", Jean asked. "Like dropping dead within seconds of being bit... but since Peter's still sitting here, probably just something that'll be really itching for the next few days.", Gwen replied.

"God, I want to scratch it already now...", Peter moaned as she just had to bring up itching. Gwen shook her head, "Don't you dare, Pete. You better leave it alone. You wouldn't want to irritate it, would you?", and Peter shook his head, "No.".

Jean replied, "Well, at least you'd have something to tell Princess about, eh?", and Peter chuckled, "Oh, yeah. I hope she doesn't go help me remove the bandage or lick it. It would taste nasty, I bet.".

"True. At least you have the weekend off to take care of it.", Gwen said, and Peter chuckled, "Yep. Aunt May probably has some idea to help if it gets really itchy or something...", before the trio of friends went to eat, and afterwards, with a bit of a break before they go with the guide some more to look at other stuff, the girls went to the ladies' bathroom.

Using a mind-check and some mind wards, Jean and Gwen went into the largest stall, the one that was popular with wheelchair people or something, and Jean immediately pinned Gwen to the wall, kissing her tenderly yet passionately, making out.

"I feel so naughty doing this right now...", Jean whispered. "Being so public...", she chuckled. "I know what you mean... someone might come in and might discover us... and I'd very much like to wait a few years before we start getting that open about who we are...", Gwen smiled, whispering.

Jean blinked in surprise, "You sure you can wait that long? You said you wished to show those perverts at prom in the spring by kissing me in public under the lights and all...", as she caressed Gwen's skin under her turtleneck.

"Damn... that's a good point... nearly forgot about that.", Gwen said as the two of them kissed again. "You might be right... maybe prom would be much better... and less time to wait.".

Jean purred wryly, "I can't wait to see you in a beautiful dress, my bright star...", smiling as she kissed Gwen's skin on her neck, and Gwen moaned softly, "And same for you too, my sexy redhead...Good thing that Peter knows us as friends at best, and that he's appearing as our escort for a bit of time, then when we alone go on the dance floor, oh, man, those looks on those perverts, I can already imagine...".

"Oh, yes...I can see it...it will be glorious...", Jean chuckled before murmuring into her ear, "Just like tonight...", and Gwen shivered, "Oh, what are you going to do to me?".

"Remember the bet back with Flash and all...I promised you a lesson in driving my car, and after that, in a dark spot of a city park or something, I'm going to make you insane right there in the backseat after the cover is up and locked, take you from behind...", Jean purred sensually.

Gwen smiled widely, "You're so lucky that my curfew is 11 when it comes to Friday night and Saturday night...I'm so gonna miss you tomorrow when I and Dad go off upstate to practice my powers and all, if he is going to decide to use a hotel or something for the night.".

"Then I guess we better make the most of tonight... I love you so much...", Jean whispered. They locked lips again, this time for a good minute with almost few breaths between the two of them before the backed off.

"I love you too, Jean...", Gwen gently brushed her hair. "As much as I don't want to stop, we better get moving again soon or we'll lose the group...".

Jean nodded, and they adjusted their clothes, using different stalls to use the toilet, and cleaned up at the sinks, and before they headed out, Jean playfully slapped Gwen's ass, causing Gwen to gasp in surprise, with Jean winking, "Just a preview.", sensually waggling her hips at her before leaving, opening the door in a swinging motion.

Gwen shook her head with a chuckle, and posted a casual look on her face, following Jean back to the company cafeteria, where most of the class were gathering up, with Peter waiting for them.

Peter smiled at them, holding two cookies, "Managed to snag them before they ran out.", and Gwen cooed, "Aww, Pete, thank you!", snapping one cookie, kissing Peter on one cheek, and Jean chuckled, "Yes, thank you, Peter.", kissing him on the other cheek while taking the other cookie, and this all is out of Flash's view, luckily.

Gwen inwardly frowned at the growing temperature of Peter's body, hearing his heartbeat working differently, not like in a crushing feeling when he saw Jean back in school, but something else, as Peter blushed pink, shocked to get two kisses from two hot ladies, okay, on the cheeks, but it still counts!

Of course, she couldn't blame Peter with the situation. How often does a guy get kissed by two very attractive girls and especially for a young man like him who's confidence was practically rock bottom almost all of the time?

Jean then replied, "Come on, we can't lose the group.", with a nod, and so, the trio went with the rest of the group, checking out more of Oscorp, with the girls slowly noticing that Peter's getting tired and miserable over the rest of the day.

"You ain't looking so good, Pete. You think you can hold on longer for the trip back to school? Jean can drive us back home in her car, and drop you off.", Gwen asked in concern as she can hear the subtle changes of bones now.

"Yeah... I think I can...", Peter took a deep breath. "I think that bite really just drained me quite a bit already...", with a nod.

"You sure you don't need maybe to go to a doctor?", Jean asked as Peter shook his head. "Nah, I think I'll be alright, maybe just a nice dinner from Aunt May might help.", Peter replied.

Gwen chuckled, "Oh, yeah, can't forget about May's awesome cooking. Okay, if you're sure.", and Peter gave her a small smile, "Don't worry, I will have some medicine before I eat dinner. I would probably go for an early sleep, considering things.".

Jean nodded, "Yeah, rest is definitely needed. Well, good thing that we're almost done here, just one more room to check out, and then head to the bus.". Peter and Gwen agreed, and the girls were glancing at each other with concern, probably would be worrying all the way until he's home in May and Ben's care.

And so, after the final room was seen and photographed, the class group headed to the bus, and back to school with Gwen sitting next to Peter, with Jean sitting behind them, Flash mind-manipulated to be leaving them in peace.

Soon, Peter napped in the backseat of Jean's car with no other noise bothering him, with the radio low on volume, and Gwen whispered to Jean, "When we get close to his house, send a mind message to Jasmine so she can keep an eye on him. Things are acting weird inside his body, I can hear.".

"What?", Jean gave her a strange look as Gwen sighed. "I don't know... maybe it's just some indigestion or something of the sort, but he's clearly not doing as well as he was before that bite.", Gwen sighed again as Jean bit her lip.

"Shit... you don't think that those spiders were poisonous, do you?", Jean asked. Gwen sighed once more, "You heard what Peter said, about the guide saying that the spiders aren't venomous or anything like that, but maybe he's allergic to the spider bite itself, or the trauma of the bite upstarted perhaps the mutant gene...".

Jean widened her eyes, whispering, "You think he's a mutant soon?", and Gwen shrugged, "I would be wrong, Jean, but think about it, he's practically a late bloomer in puberty and all...".

"Yeah, there's plenty of people that are late bloomers, doesn't make them mutants.", Jean said as Gwen sighed and leaned her head back.

"Look, I just don't have many answers right now... all I know is that he's not doing too great at the moment. We take him home and then let Jasmine watch over him... hopefully he'll be better by the morning and there will be nothing to worry about.", Gwen said.

Jean exhaled, "Yeah, yeah, you're right. Probably a severe allergy, and May's cooking plus Ben's care would help him out, and with Jasmine watching over him, he would have immediate help if he needed to go to the hospital or something.".

Gwen nods, "My thoughts exactly, Jean.", as Jean focuses on her driving, and upon good timing despite traffic, they got into Jean and Peter's neighborhood, and Gwen shakes Peter from his nap as they got close to his house, "Pete, Pete, wake up, you're home.".

"Huh...?", Peter groaned as he started to slowly wake up, "Oh, sorry...". His mind quickly caught up with his surroundings. "Didn't mean to doze off there.".

"It's alright... you weren't snoring thankfully.", Jean teased as Peter blushed again, still feeling like total crap at the moment, unaware of the spider's bite practically ravaging his body on a sub-atomic level.

Gwen replied, "Come on, I will help you there, Pete. Jean, wait for me.", and Jean smiled, "Always.", underlining the meaning of her comment, and Gwen knew what she meant, smiling back, and then went to help Peter out of the car while Jean goes to send a mind message to Jasmine.

'Jasmine, Peter is not feeling well. He got bit by a spider while on the field trip. He needs plenty of supervision, along with lots of rest and food.', Jean telepathically replied.

'Okay... anything specific I should keep an eye out for then?', Jasmine asked as Jean thought for a second before responding back mentally.

'Just make sure he isn't about to keel over, he should hopefully be fine... but with those genetically altered spiders, it's very unfortunately unknown territory in terms of what the body's response is to it.'

Jasmine gave a mental nod, 'Understood. If May's cooking wouldn't help, rest is the next best thing. It will be a long night, but luckily, I'm a cat.'.

Jean chuckled mentally, 'Indeed. I'll check in tomorrow for our sakes as we are worried for Peter.', and Jasmine mentally responded, 'Got it.'.

At the same time, Gwen got Peter to the front door, knocking on the door, and Ben opened it, smiling, "Ah, Gwen, Peter.", before frowning in concern, "Peter?", seeing his nephew looking awful and pale.

Peter gave a small smile at Ben, "Hi, Uncle Ben...", and Gwen replied, "Peter got bitten by a spider, and we think he's either allergic to the bite or just feeling off due to his body, well, not as healthy as other boys.".

"Oh, jeez...", Ben sighed as he took Peter in. "Did he get it all cleaned?", Ben asked Gwen as she nodded.

"Yeah, those at the labs say that he'll probably be fine, but right now... he either needs a good meal or just some rest.", Gwen said. "Alright, we'll keep an eye out for him then.", Ben nodded.

Gwen smiled, "Thanks. And I have the feeling that Princess will be very protective of him. Don't be surprised if she sleeps on a pillow near him instead of her cat bed tonight.", and Ben gave a small chuckle, "Animals sure has a sixth sense when it comes to those things. Thank you, Gwen, and Jean, back there, for bringing him home.".

"No problem, Ben. Peter's our friend, after all.", Gwen nodded, and looked at Peter, "You better rest good, or you're gonna have us being overstressed in wondering about you, is that clear?".

Peter gave a small smile, "Yes, ma'am.", and Gwen nodded before smiling reassuringly at Ben, "I think he will not make any ladies mad if he can help it. Bye, Ben.", turning around and skipped back to the car, jumping in into the passenger seat.

Ben closed the door and smiled at Peter, "Gwen Stacy and Jean Watson, eh?", and Peter blushed wildly, "Uncle Ben!".

Ben just laughed, "Just teasing, but that's rather a unique sight. Of course, I wouldn't know since I was the one who drove May home if she was sick or out on a school curfew night, but I ain't mad for two lovely ladies driving you home out of their concern for you.".

"Yeah... well, you know how probably out of my league they are...", Peter sighed. "Worried that they'll just stay friends with you?", Ben raised an eyebrow.

"Hey, I don't mind that... I'd be lucky to have them as friends at least with how my life has been...", Peter shook his head. Ben frowned as he knew that his nephew had some serious self-esteem issues.

Ben then gently thumped his nephew's shoulder, "Hey, you heard Gwen's orders. How about having your favorite dinner food? Don't be surprised if May decides to stuff you up, especially if she's fretting about you.".

Peter gave a small smile, "That would be brilliant, Uncle Ben, and yeah, Aunt May is so going to be worried about me..., and I can't forget Princess either...", as he gave a resigned chuckle, with them heading deeper into the house, to the kitchen and all.

"Yeah, well, at least we know there's an eye on you through the night from her... she'll probably stay up the whole night keeping watch.", Ben chuckled as Peter nodded, "Good point... I'm going to head to my room and relax for a little bit before dinner, alright?".

Ben nodded, "Good. No watching TV in there as the lights on there would keep you up. Do your Legos or read a book.", and Peter nodded before walking past the kitchen where May was smiling at him as she was cutting up vegetables before frowning in concern, and Peter gave her a small smile before walking up the stairs, and down to his bedroom.

May looked at Ben for clarification, and Ben replied, "Peter's not his usual self, he is not feeling great. Apparently, Gwen Stacy and Jean Watson drove him home after getting bitten by a spider on the field trip. He needs food, lots of liquid, and of course, lots of rest. He is just taking a bit of a break to destress from the whole trip and all before coming down for dinner.".

"Oh dear...", May bit her lip as Ben nodded, "I'm sure he'll be alright, no way those folks would've let him go home if that wasn't the case... right?". Ben gave her a look as she nodded.

"You're right, I'm sure it's just a short stint and that he'll probably be fine by morning. Now then, give me some room to work in the kitchen, alright?", May replied.

Ben nodded with a fond chuckle and a gentle kiss to her cheek, "Of course, you're the queen of the kitchen, no question.", and May laughed, swatting his shoulder playfully, "You always say that, Ben!".

"And I'll always say it to our wonderful golden years and beyond, my beautiful Mayflower.", Ben smiled lovingly, and May smiled, kissing him on the lips warmly before shooing him off, "Now, shoo!".

Ben laughed as he left the kitchen, heading to the living room where he will just relax with a book or something, figuring that the TV in the living room is out as the noise would possibly bother Peter, even if it was far below his room and all.

Meanwhile, Peter walked in, with Jasmine meowing frantically, sniffing and leaping into the bed as he dropped the backpack down to the floor, and sat down exhaustedly, "Can't fool you, huh, Princess? They think I am just awfully sick, but Princess, I'm just beyond awfully sick...I think I can't manage Aunt May's double servings, or I could throw up...", with a groan.

Jasmine nuzzled against him as he sighed. "Shit...", Peter cursed. "I swear... I think I might be dying right now, Princess... those guys lied to me...". Peter closed his eyes as he took some deep breaths, "Just... stay with me right now, okay?".

Jasmine mewed in concern, whimpering as she can feel the heat coming off Peter's body, even though his clothes, smelling the slowly changing scent of him, and she purred, wishing that she'd be human right now...

She nuzzled deeply into his arms as Peter moved into his side, dropping into the sheets, wanting to be cool yet warm at the same time, shivering yet sweating, his glasses sliding down and off thanks to the sweat, and his clothes slowly becoming soaked.
