It was hard to believe but a few days later, Jess took the hard call from Tracy inform them her father had passed away. They were asked to attend his funeral, which they agreed they would. On the morning of, they drove to Stu's to drop Jack off with Lauren before heading out to the service. Stu and Phil sat in the front seat as she stretched out in the backseat with a small headache. They somberly arrived trying to spot Doug and Tracy who were chatting with extended family and friends of Sid's.

The highest concern was…. seeing Alan.

He was standing alone for the most part, away from everyone else. But after spotting the three of them taking their seats, he stood up stepping forward. Clearing his throat loudly and opened the funeral service with a song that no one really expected.

"My God, he's got the voice of an angel," offered Phil as they listened to Alan soprano through.

"It's breathtaking," said Stu in agreeance. Jess cringed from the earache, but this would end soon she prayed. As he ended, he straightened his face and resumed a normal stance.

"I can't believe my daddy is dead. I can think of so many people I would rather have died first, like my mother—" said Alan with sunglasses on to shield his eyes. Jess gasped silently, her mouth dropping, as Mrs. Garner let out a whimper. That was too much, thought Jess patting her shoulder, and dead staring at Alan. She turned around and acknowledged Jess, folding her hands against her forehead, and took several deep breaths before straightening in her seat. Grasping Phil's hands trying to ignore the tension headache she had, Jess remained quiet with concern masking her face.

"As many of you know, my father and I were extremely close. He was my life partner. He would often tell me, almost daily, that I was his favorite child. I'll always remember the last words he said to me. I'm proud of you, Alan. Never change…."

Jess looked at Phil praying those weren't the actual words, but he was shaking his head in disbelief too.

"Well, I heard you loud and clear, daddy." He looked up to the sky as though to Sid. "I will never change. Never, ever!" he said the last part staring at everyone in attendance. It was too much for Mrs. Garner. She let out a louder sob as Alan returned to his seat. As the priest continued with the service, Jess stood up to walk a bit because too much sitting was bothering her greatly. Her body was so sore with this pregnancy! Thankfully Phil took extra care to rub her back and feet every night.

Something was off and her senses told her to be alert.

Walking off, she looked up seeing a tall man in the distance near the main road. He wore a black suit like others around, but his blond hair was covered by a baseball cap. Fearing it was Jason, she turned away holding her head and stomach as nausea came again. Looking back once more, she saw the man had left after hearing a car open slam close and drive off. Even the smallest things were setting her off.

"Wow, rough day," offered Phil as they, Stu, Doug, and himself, gathered around a nearby tree. Jess appeared worried but she gathered her arms up and hugged Phil closely, looking franticly around.

"Are you okay?" he whispered. Jess nodded as Stu spoke up beside her.

"Yeah. How's Tracy doing?" asked Stu stuffing his pockets with his hands.

"Not great," began Doug throwing his hands at his side in defeat. "Her mother is totally on edge, and if all this weren't enough, apparently Alan's been off his meds for almost six months."

Jess and Stu shared a look of concern but all he could muster out was an 'Oh boy'.

"Yeah, it has not been pretty," stated Doug looking around at the group. "Then there's the whole fucking giraffe thing."

Phil let out a laugh as the others stared at him, included Jess. While trying to see his humor, she simply hit his arm. "I thought that was pretty funny."

"That's messed up!" she said loudly placing a hand on her hip. Having spent a good majority of the night texting Stu about it all, she eyed him closely hoping he would be nicer about it all. Phil looked between the group before letting out a loud sigh.

"Come on! He killed a giraffe. Who gives a fuck?" he asked, arms crossed arms with little remorse to his words. Jess stared at him and huffed as Stu spoke up a moment.

"You know, I wasn't gonna say anything, but Alan's been stopping by my office lately," confessed Stu with concern as he looked at the group.

"You're kidding me! What for?" asked Doug. "Jess, have you seen him?"

"No, I didn't see him," replied Jess crossing her arms leaning on Phil's arm. "I deal with admin stuff not the actual clinic anymore."

"I don't know," Stu answered. "He just sits in the waiting room and reads highlights magazine. Fills in the puzzles, whatever he can, and then leaves. I don't think he has ever asked to see me or Jess."

A pause came to the four of them. It bothered them that Alan was behaving this way but was there honestly anything that they could do to help?

"Check it out—" Phil said suddenly pointing over toward Sid' casket. They all stared as Alan stood over the casket, without much of care of who was around. Jess groaned before leaning into Phil's arm. Beside them, Stu let out a Jesus, as Doug turned to the group, addressing them about something important.

"Actually, I wanted to talk to you guys about that," he started, his back fully to Alan. "Linda really wants to stage an intervention for him." This caused everyone to look at him with concern about the severity of the situation. Jess looked beyond Doug though, seeing something from the corner of her eye. It was tall man standing away from the group with chestnut colored hair… surely Jason wasn't here… Her eyes tried to scan the area as the group chatted around her.

"An intervention? Really?" questioned Phil, taking ahold of Jess' hand before she walked off.

"I think that sounds a great idea," commented Stu with a nod at Doug.

"Yeah. The thing is... she's pretty convinced he won't agree to it unless all of us are there."

Doug looked at each of them with remorse knowing they would have to attend to it, or Alan wouldn't go. Sighing again, Phil tugged on Jess to get her attention and motioned to her brother.

"I mean, you know how he is," concluded Doug placing his hands on his hips. Phil added that he didn't know, or at least to Jess that he was joking around. They both said that it was a little extreme, but Stu agreed to Doug. A moment later, Stu pointed toward Alan as the group let out a collective groan.

"Okay, I'm in," stated Phil, reaching down and taking Jess to the car. "We are leaving by the way."

Jess followed Phil and Stu, thinking back on the tall man from earlier. Had it been Jason? He seemed too thin to be him, but after all this time, would he really come all this way to find her. It scared her with the possibility that Jason had come because of his warning. Phil's firm hold on her hand forced her to look forward as they approached their car.

I'll never stop looking for you. It doesn't matter how many times you return to Phil Wenneck.

These were the words that scared her most. Jason Marshall had power and money to make things move and it worried her if he would do just that to get her back to his side.

Stu was waiting patiently with Lauren at the restaurant for Phil and Jess to show up. Having ordered their favorite drinks, he held hands with his wife trying to remain calm. Ten minutes late, they walked in apologizing for their tardiness. Jess and Lauren went to hug as he pulled out the chair for her to sit. Their conversation opened about the baby and any updates. Jess got up several times to use the restroom ignoring Stu's calls.

"She's got to pee all the time," said Stu, with concern.

"Babe, Jess is carrying a baby. She's got a lot going on," offered Lauren patting his arm. Looking up a few times, she excused herself to check on Jess. Upon returning, she let out a sigh and said sorry to Stu.

"So, we talked to Tracy today, and she said that the treatment facility that they found was really nice," stated Lauren holding onto Stu's hands.

"It's beautiful, I checked it out online. Great reputation," agreed Stu with a twinkle in his eyes.

"Who gives a fuck? It's in Arizona!" said Phil, eating his spaghetti in several bites. "We gotta go on like a two-day drive for this shit?"

"Here we go!" Jess looked at him grabbing a piece of garlic bread. "You don't know anything about distance do you? Remember you said Thailand was a 16-hour flight!"

"They should just save their money and send him to a fat camp," commented Phil taking a bite of his food. Slapping his arm, Jess stared at him as did Stu and Lauren.

"What?" he asked throwing down his fork. "He should lose some weight and find a woman. That's what he needs. The dude's lonely."

"Well, if he's so lonely, why don't the two of you spend some more time with him?" offered Lauren looking at the three around her. Jess smirked with a roll of her eyes.

"No, trust me, you don't want that," muttered Jess seeing Phil nod in agreement.

"No, you definitely don't want that," stated Stu firmly setting his silverware down softly. There was an uncertain fear in his still body. There was a slight wind around them and it made her shiver in place.

"Oh, come on!" Lauren let out a loud sigh and pulled Stu's hand to here. "He's not that bad. I mean, what's the worst that's happened? The tattoo?"

Jess smiled remembering when he went into have it removed and how much pain it must have been to deal with. It was the only two weeks that she had to return to handle the clinic for him unknown by anyone by him and Lauren.

"Yeah, the tattoo's the worst - Right?" he asked Phil and Jess. Looking at one another, she let show a smirk and calmly nodded as Phil spoke up.

"Definitely. The tattoo was the worst," he agreed turning over his spaghetti. "Nightmare."

Silence lay on the table as Phil shifted in his seat a moment. "Speaking of which, you ever get tested?"

Jess nearly choked on her food as she stared wide-eyed at the table's occupants seeing Lauren's confused face. Stealing a glance at Stu and Phil, they were staring harshly at one another.

"Excuse me?" asked Stu uncertain how to answer.

"You know, cause of the ink. That went inside you." Phil deadpan looked at him with such seriousness in his tone and expression that it would be hard to see through the stillness.

Jess felt her mouth drop at the comments but looked over seeing the seriousness of the topic. Stu had flinched and luckily Lauren hadn't seen it. It seemed this would remain top secret between the three.

"I'm fine," confirmed Stu as they smiled and resumed their conversation about the coming baby.

It was sickening to see them sitting there, all lovey and so enthralled with one another. It hurt his insides to see this, but Jason could do nothing but watch. Seated in the passenger seat, he saw her smiles aimed at the group, mostly at Phil. His hands kept brushing against her arm and for a time he sat an arm on the back of the chair. Whatever was in her glass was clear, water maybe, while the others drank wine. He remembered there was a slight bulge to her stomach, but he thought nothing of it since there was no way she could be. He had hit her rather hard, and he refused to believe the Phil had impregnated her again.

They were standing to leave, with Jess and Lauren shared a hug before going. Stu and Lauren looked back at Phil and Jess as he helped her into the SUV. He closed the door and they drove away, probably to home. Jason looked onward with infuriated jealousy and despite his best efforts, he felt a sniffle escape.

"Where to Boss?" asked the man in the driver's seat.

"Head to the hideout," said Jason pushing his hair back and closing his eyes, only seeing Jess and the delight they shared.

Memories of them spending the last four years together haunting him. From the first time he met her online that late November night in 2008, the youthful seventeen-year-old had reminded him that sometimes happiness could be found in the strangest of places.

Thinking back further, the Texas girl was truly a chase he should have ignored but the feelings was there. He had spent a considerable time in Dallas for a long deal. He found the girl to have everything he wanted. Kate had been just a silly girl, and she was someone he checked on from time to time, but never interacted with. Their son, Henry, was growing up with a new father, and he made sure to send money for child support but left it at that. After her was Julia back home, who he enjoyed despite getting Betty pregnant. They knew it was completely a forced thing and enjoyed the escape and thrill. He wasn't sure if Julia could survive the business despite Betty's intervening. They did enjoy the pleasure of it all on several occasions at his apartment. Thanking back, her blonde's hair was often tied into a messy bun, which he took delight in pulling at every opportunity.

He remembered the phone calls with Jess when he visited New York, not knowing he was about to tiptoe into things he knew nothing about. He had been there to eliminate the daughter of a potential gang leader and ended up realizing she was stronger than he thought. Overpowering her, he released himself and thought nothing of it. Seduction worked most of the time. When he learned she was pregnant, he tried desperately to rid himself of the problem and in the disguise he told a false name. Legally, there was no obligation towards that child, but Jason knew this was his third child from a new mother.

His eyes opened remembering that one night in Vegas and how they had planned everything. How he went to get her from the lobby at Caesars Palace but not finding her until the next night, completely confused by her memory loss. Her dark brown cascaded down her back that night in the nightclub, her in that blue bombshell dress, which when he thought about it now was probably purchased by Phil for nefarious reasons. Easily, his fingers could recall the feeling as he had pulled her hair as they committed to sin. So desperately he wanted to believe that he had found an angel while living in the hell, and the escaped sense of wonder came to him in the beginning with her.

He knew in the five years since she was entirely different than the women he had interacted with before. She was different also due to her not so innocent demeanor, also caused by Phil most likely.

Jess was genuine, and he knew that time has passed leaving only a sense of robbed possibilities never meant to be found again. In his mind, he saw the woman he knew well but clearly not enough to keep. The night when he attacked her, it was the first time he really lost control without meaning to. It was the only time he restrained himself on purpose, though it was Jack's calling his Mama that really stopped him. The thought decimated him inside at the idea he nearly killed someone so perfect; someone so special. He nearly took away the boy's mother and the thought terrified him. Jack didn't deserve him as a father, fake or not.

Jason had known the entire time that Jack was never his. This made his heart drop knowing he prevented the man the chance to bond with his child. He wanted to keep Jess to himself even if it meant lying to everyone around them. Maybe he was just like his father, lying to get his way even by hurting those he loved. A cold-hearted criminal, who, for once in his miserable twenty-six years of life, had a glimpse of what real happiness was and could be. He just wished he hadn't fucked it all up.

Jess was sitting in the recliner, her eyes closed as she listened to Doug instruct everyone with the plan. She knew that this was insane, and Alan would not agree until she and Phil, mostly him, agreed to take him. There was such a strangeness to Alan about him, but she let it go most times.

Phil and Stu were seated across the room on the sofa with Doug standing in front of the fireplace. Beside her was the housekeeper and Nico, a friend of Alans's, who was looking smiling at her.

"I hope the dress fit from way back," he smiled extending his hand.

"It fit great. I have no idea how Alan got my size but whatever now—"

"Mother, Oreo smoothie, now!" called Alan from the front door as he and Tracy walked in. "Woah! Hey, everyone!"

Phil and Stu turned around as Jess stood up a moment reaching for Doug. He looked at his sister and nodded he was okay. Alan walked a little further in as Tracy nodded at the group.

"Hey! Oh, wow. Look, you went to the uh...pier today. How was that?" asked Phil trying to ease the tension in the room.

"We had a great time," smiled Tracy guiding Alan to the spot between Phil and Stu. Jess remained unsure but remained standing next to Doug, her arms slightly crossed.

"Yeah, I played skeeball for like forty-five minutes," said Alan cracking his neck. "It was a pretty sick workout. What's going on?"

Doug pointed to the spot on the sofa and cleared his throat. "Uh... why don't you have a seat, bud. We just wanna talk to you for a sec."

Alan looked at everyone included Jess who forced a smile on her face. He greeted Phil happily with a high five and a fake one aimed at Stu. Once he sat down fully, Doug sat down too and began.

"So, Alan, we're all here to tell you about an awesome place called 'New Horizons'—"

"That does sound awesome," said Alan looking in excitement but then the concerned crossed his face when Tracy what this really was. "A what?"

Jess watched in pain as she felt the need to pee bad, but her slow pacing was worrying Alan a bit she could tell. Listening in disbelief, Alan heard the word of his mother and housekeeper explain themselves before knocking over the glass he was drinking from. Alarmed by it, Jess jumped reaching for Doug's arm.

"Alan, you are not well. You're off your meds, and you're clearly upsetting your whole family!"

"That's baloney!" Alan snapped at Stu who offered a back pat.

"Alan, don't you realize the pain you are putting everyone in? It's not good to be this way," offered Jess holding her hands behind and shaking in place. She really felt out of place doing this. Smiling at him, Alan only frowned at her.

"But you're with child and I need to be the best uncle ever—" he asked trying to avoid Doug's voice.

"Yes, but – but— but being the best uncle meaning taking care of yourself too—"

"Alan if you say yes to this, we drive you there today, and I promise you will comeback a changed man," said Doug firmly holding his hands together.

"Who's 'we'? What — what do you mean 'we'? 'Who's' we'?" demanded Alan eyeing everyone closely.

Doug looked around and pointed at each of the we.

"We, all of us. Stu, Phil, me, Jess, you."

Alan eyed them and his eyes settled in Jess, then Phil. Nodding, she sat down in the recliner once more and reached over for Doug knowing this was hard on him too.

"You going Jess? Phil?"

Jess gazed at Phil like everyone else, and the man felt everyone's eyes. Gulping back, he nodded.

"I love you, Alan," he said softly.

The moment, Alan let out a whale scream, that greatly hurt her ears, but she kept her hands on Doug's and ignored the high pitch. He turned in place deadeye staring at Phil and Stu without stopping. Everyone shook their heads or sat frozen as he finished and agreed to leave. Standing up quickly, she ran to the bathroom and relieved herself before getting into the back seat of her SUV. Phil was driving with Doug in the passenger seat with Alan and Stu on either side of her.

"Hey, Alan, I just wanna say what you're doing is really brave," she heard someone say as her eyes were closed. "We're proud of you."

It was really exhausting being in the car this long and they each knew how she was on long drives. They had been driving for about an hour when Alan began making a fuss in the front seat with his seatbelt.

"Yeah, you're gonna do great," agreed Stu.

"Stop the car!" urged Alan a moment later pushing Jess into Stu's body. "I don't wanna do this anymore—"

"What?" asked Jess opening her eyes and feeling Stu's chest on her face.

"I've changed my mind," Alan said beginning to grab for Phil's hands.

"Alan, you can't change your mind. Everybody's counting on you!"

Stu was speaking as Jess felt herself being pushed off him as Alan looked at Doug and Phil in the front seats.

"I- I-I...I'm fine just the way I am. I wanna go home Turn the car around!"

Jess tried to push herself off Stu and a sudden thud came from behind him. Looking back with the others, she saw a yellow box truck coming up on them once more.

"What the fuck was that?" demanded Phil turning a moment to look with them.

"Oh, my God! He's doing it on purpose!" shouted Stu obviously. Doug told Phil to get over before he laid on the horn cursing at the box truck.

"We must exchange information," urged Stu pointing at the vehicle that coming at them again.

"Phil! Watch out, Phil!- Oh, shit!- Get away from him!"

Jess was screaming as they were tossed around after dropping from the road as Phil tried to keep control of the SUV. Doug was shouting at him as she held onto Stu in fear. Alan was bouncing onto her as well. But a moment later after they stopped, the yellow box truck drivers came running out wearing pig faced masks. Phil shouted at Doug to lock his door not taking the same caution. His and Stu's doors were ripped open, and they were pulled out along with Doug and Jess. She saw that they were each zip tied before a cloth rucksack was placed over her head and she felt the same ties on her wrists. In the distance there was thud as maybe Alan had been caught.

Stu was shrieking as the space them around became suddenly dark. There was only the bumps and their heavy breathing that could be heard. After some time, there was a sudden light as someone grabbed for her shoulders and pulled her out of whatever they were in. It seemed there were four loud thuds around her, but she was grabbed around the waist and hoisted down carefully.

"Please, this is huge mistake! You got the wrong guys!" screamed Phil looking up into someone's gaze. It was so bright out he couldn't make out who it was.

"No, I got the right fucking guys Get him up. Pick him up, put him over here!"

Jess like the others had their cloth bags removed from their heads. Some of these people she recognized as Jason's associates, but she was shaking at what to do. Jason was nowhere to be seen but it still scared her.

"Hey, you're black Doug! It's Black Doug!"

"Shut the fuck up with that! Shut the fuck up!"

Stu and Jess turned in place trying to see Alan, but it was difficult with the way her arm was twisted with the zip ties on.

"Alan, tell me right now, why is Black Doug kidnapping us?" shouted Stu at Alan.

"I said don't call me that shit no more!" he said walking over pointing his gun at Stu. "It ain't Alan's fault."

"Thank you, Black Doug!"

"Ooh, Mother fuck...! I will...Fucker!" he took several steps forward shaking his gun at Alan now. In the moment, Phil shouted at him by just Doug.

"Doug! - Okay, Okay.- Just Doug, okay? Why are you doing this?!"

"Because...I told him to," said a booming voice that exited the car. "I'm Marshall."

Jess gasped and tried to run but was stopped by a handler. There, standing side by side, was Jason and his father, John. The two men looked menacing. Jason's eyes lingered on her a moment before he crossed his arms looking at the group.

"I'm Marshall. And whether you know it or not, we all have something in common, and it all started four years ago, when this moron sold the wrong drugs to this dumb fuck —" he looked over Alan with suspicion.

"You have no idea the chain of events that were set in motion that night. In the parking lot of a fucking liquor store!" shouted Marshall at them.

"And to think I would have never meet any of you other than Jess either!" laughed Jason putting his hands on his waist. "I've rather enjoyed her company, but there you all have to mess that up several times over!"

As Alan thought back on the night, Jess frowned at Jason was smirking.

"Fuck off Jason! You cock-less mother fucker!" screeched Jess trying to get the handler to let her go.

"You brought us out here because of that?" questioned Stu finally connecting the dots himself.

Jason and his father jeered harshly at him.

"You're not here because of that. You're here because some Chinaman I never heard of strolls into my town and takes one of my guys off the street!" Marshall shouted with a scowl.

"Mr. Chow?" asked Phil looking around confusion masking his face.

"Yes. Yes!" said Marshall eagerly. "Yes, Mr. Leslie-fucking-Chow. You introduced a virus into my life."

"Oh God, what did he do?"

"He fucked me in the ass—" stated Marshall firmly.

"Oh, he does that from time to time," commented Alan with a struggled sigh. Marshall rounded on him before letting out an impatient scowl.

"Not literally. Jesus! A few weeks before your bullshit. I get word this sheik is coming in from Abu Dhabi. He was looking to make some less than legal investments. He brought his two wives and 42 million dollars in gold bars."

Marshall turned to pointing at his son. Smirking Jason stepped up his arms crossed against his chest as he spoke.

"I went to retrieve it since I was there for other business. Instead, I found myself a lost little puppy, so eager to play with an older man."

He walked over and pulled Jess against his body, a firm grip under her jaw in front of the group. "I always liked that blue dress. It had to right amount of skin –" he turned her to face the guys before wrapping his arms around her torso pulling at her shirt. "— to bare every sinful thought to. How I thoroughly took her!"

Jason's eyes lingered on Phil as the man struggled to reach them.

Jess was shaking in his arms, and she would tell the guys were pissed. Phil was glaring at him with every amount of hate he would muster but knew he could do nothing.

"I learned about the drug mix up later! I must say Alan you know how to party! Kinda guy I can hang with! But the gold— yah we took it all. Two vans, each with 21 million in gold. My guys split up—" said Jason caressing her side more.

"— one of them made it back. One of them didn't." he finished placing his hands on her stomach. His eyes widened as he looked between Jess and Phil.

Marshall turned to the group speaking loudly. "Leslie Chow stole 21 million dollars from me. On a Tuesday. I looked everywhere for him. But he's gone, no one can find him. Until the little cockroach got himself pinched in Bangkok. So, I pay him a visit. I offer him a truce. I won't touch a hair on his head, I just want him to tell me where my gold is. He refuses to talk. Not only he does refuse to talk to me; he has no communication with anyone form the outside!"

Jess looked down knowing she was the reason this was happening. If she hadn't told Jason, then they could have been safe. Looking up at Doug, Stu, and Phil, there was a slight hint of confusion on their faces.

"Except you," Marshall said getting into Alan's face and pushing him down.

"Alan, you been talking to Chow?" shouted Stu stepping sideways and angrily frowning at him.

"They've been writing letters!" declared Marshall unfolding the papers.

"Hey, those are private!" shrieked Alan from the ground.

"Dear Leslie, OMG, the McRib is back!" read Marshall from the letters in his hands. "Why was it ever gone?"

"Exactly!" cried Alan glaring at Marshall.

"Dear Alan, I threw urine on prison guard today. Blamed it on cell mate. Wish you were here."

"Yeah, I wish I could have seen that!" agreed Alan loudly trying to sit up.

"Letter after letter of total nonsense, except for one common thread," stated Marshall folding the letters up violently. "You guys! The Wolfpack!"

"Jesus Christ, Alan!" shouted Stu kicking the dust.

"How did you even know about those letters?!" screamed Alan looking dead in Marshall's eyes. Jason stepped up pulling Jess with him and showed her off like a prize.

"Oh, that was her doing! You can thank Jess for giving that info over!" laughed Jason throwing his hands into her hair. He pulled hard making her buckle and forcing her body downward. "Really threw everything away, didn't you?"

Looking up, she felt the tears pouring down her face. "You fucking asshole! Leave us alone!"

"Jess," whispered Alan looking between the two. Jason got into his face, a smirk crossing his face dragging her with him.

"You quite literally sold him and everyone else out! You actually believe I would keep my promise?! I said I give her anything she ever wanted," he laughed harshly. "Of course, she went running back to Phil like the betraying little bitch she really is!"

He threw her to the ground as cloud of dust rose when she landed. "She doesn't care about you or anything else. Only her precious Phil! When I said I would do anything to let you run, I didn't mean permanently!"

Jess could feel the heat beating on her back and the betrayal they must all feel because her words. But she never though it would come to this. He was surely lying, he promised they would be left alone not hunted down by his father. He said he hated the life he lived!

"Five weeks ago, Chow escaped from maximum security detention," began Mr. Marshall once more eyeing the group closely. "He stored aboard a shipping freighter bound for the West Coast."

Jess managed to turn over and looked at Alan who was distracted by Stu and Phil. They were shouting at him making her feel even worse.

"Alan, if you know where he is, you tell this man right now!" shouted Phil with urgency in his voice.

"Phil, I...I don't know. I swear, I haven't talked to him in months!" stuttered Alan looking around.

"We Gotta do it the hard way." Marshall was growing impatient as he walked over motioning for his thugs to grab for Doug. Screaming Jess somehow managed to get to her knees before being pulled over onto Alan. Stu and Phil both were kneed in the backs as they too fell over crying in pain. Marshall returned his glasses to his face and stood tall next to his son. One of the thugs put the cloth bag back over Doug's head and began to pull him toward the car. Jason even held the door open for them to stuff him in.

"Doug is my insurance; he stays with me. You don't give me Chow; I blow his brains out. You go the cops; I blow his brains out," said Marshall matter of fact.

"But that's insane!" screamed Jess rolling off Alan into the dust again.

"We don't even know where the fuck he is!" shouted Phil rolling onto his arms.

"No one does. But I figured the Wolfpack has the best chance of finding him. You have three days! Get to work!"

As they drove away Alan shouted out for them to take Stu causing him to say fuck off. Turning to face him, Jess knew they needed to get the knife from the SUV that was under the floor mat. Instead, Phil instructed Alan to chew through the ties making him roll on top of him.

"Isn't this job for Jess?" he asked suddenly.

"Get off me," moaned Phil as he felt Alan entire weight on his back. "Shit. SHIT!"
