Hello i'm so sorry for not updating in months. From the middle of November on I've been working on oneshots, and several of them I'd started in 2012/2013. Anyway. Now those are finished. And now, as we're in 2021 I'm getting back to working on my stories as I usually do.

If there'll be a long A/N for this chapter? I just wanted to say that since the last chapter I finished a story and started some. And I'm not going to list them. If you're interested in them you can just go on my profile. But I just want to brag some about aaaaaaallllllllll the oneshots I've written.

So, these are the ones I've shared lately

-If only I could find the answer- Cobra Kai
-Words I could say, feelings I couldn't- Cobra Kai
-Could this really be the truth?- Cobra Kai
-Different son, different dad- Cobra Kai
-The forgotten kitchen towel- O. C.
-Give my heart a break- The dumping ground
-Crazy famous wolfmoon- Harry Potter
-Second chances I never thought I'd have- Julie and the phantoms
-Secrets kept- Harry Potter
-Without you I'm in pain- Twilight
-A wealth bigger than all- Ghost whisperer
-All I want for Christmas- Annie (In memory of Ann Reinking and Albert Finney)
-Some things change, some do not- Julie and the phantoms
-Parents and children- Julie and the phantoms

I was a bit obsessed with Cobra Kai for a while as you can see.

Well, now we're here and happy new year. Hopefully 2021 won't be as bad as 2020 was for the whole world.

This story is set during a couple of days, without the few weeks that passed before the episode in the series. I hope it will make sense for everyone.

It was on my way back home that I tried to think of a reason I'd have to go to the dumping ground.

Oh yeah. I'd left my purse there…

I wouldn't need it any earlier than tomorrow after work anyway.

They should be having dinner by now anyway. And maybe I could tell Mike I could help out with the cleaning and dishing afterwards.

"Hello guys." When I came into the dumping ground everyone had already finished their dinner. "Oh… Here." Gina was cleaning the table. "Let me help you with that."

Without giving Gina a chance to react I took a kitchen cloth from the sink and started cleaning the kitchen counter.

"Tracy have you… mixed up your schedule?"

"No…" I shook my head quickly. "…I was just bored after leaving Cam at the airport and I thought I'd come here and help out. If I know it's clean here it will help me have a tidy mind."

Gina looked weirdly at me, but I was relieved when she at least didn't ask any more questions and left the room. I kept wiping off the counter- now for the third time when Sapphire came into the kitchen.

"Hey Saph." I greeted before she'd have the time to say anything.

"Ehrm… hi…" She seemed insecure. "I don't think you're meant to be here right now… And I thought you were just dropping off Cam at the airport and go home and have the flat to yourself for a month and have the best time."

"I was just with her. I just dropped in here because Mike needed some help. Now I can go home it will be so much fun. Parties every night, pizza for every meal. When you move away from here then you'll be looking forward to going there too. And then as soon as you do live alone you really can't imagine how you ever could stand living in a house full of people."

"Why are you here then, Beaker?"

"What?"

I had heard what she had asked and I understood what she was asking about. But at least if I asked I would have more time to come up with anything.

Or at least something that wasn't the truth…

Because when I go home now it will become more real than ever that there's no one else there but me.

"Well. You weren't even supposed to work tonight. If you're home alone and wants to have a party and eat pizza. Why are you suddenly here cleaning after dinner?"

"I just thought I'd help out. And Mike asked if I could."

"I know. But you have never done anything like that before so why would you now?"

"Well. Being alone does too teach you something about how important it is to keep everything clean. And then clean kitchen helps me for a clean mind."

Sapphire only looked back on me. She probably knew exactly how much I disliked cleaning otherwise and she could see right through my lies.

"Sapphire…"

We were both interrupted when Harry- younger than everybody else and about to go to bed stood in the doorway dressed in a giraffe pyjamas and with Jeff as usual held towards his chest.

"Yes Harry?"

"Story please?"

Sapphire sent me a weird look. But whenever Harry wanted her she wasn't about to stand and talk to me so she turned and I felt strangely relieved when she left. When I could wash the cloth and hung it over the crane before I went to the office where I found piles of papers…

I could deal with this…

"Shouldn't you have gone home already?" Gina asked and made myself ready to find another answer. "Gus was just in here and told me about when you should work. Starting for the night shift from tomorrow. And if you don't need to be here then why come in sooner?"

I really should come up with a better story…

Or maybe I already have one

"I was thinking, maybe tomorrow I could come in earlier and I could help sorting out these papers."

Gina looked weirdly at me. So first Sapphire and now Gina, and Cam hadn't even reached America yet.

"Are you okay?"

"Tidy office, tidy mind."

I just had to keep this up.

"Of course. I'm fine. Mike did say too he wanted me to come in early to help. For right now I'll just be heading home. Now it's after dinner time I could buy a pizza and not have to wait for three hours to get it."

Gina kept looking weirdly at me and I knew that if I stayed there was no way I could keep it up.

Random fact

Since it's right at the beginning at the year I'm working on all stories at once. With 500 words on one chapter, 500 on the next, on the next, on the next… so… this chapter was left for days with only about a hundred words left to write.

Since Gina is in this chapter I just wanted to make a notice and may Kay Purcell rest in peace.
