I still have a few ideas and a few oneshots. But at least they are only that- a few and not fifteen.
Here we go with the chapter.
I was standing on a ship and only watching the horizon when I suddenly noticed I had Cam on one side of me and mum on the other.
That was okay, what we saw was beautiful and everything we would have to do was to just stand there and watch the ocean around us.
It should have been. I really didn't have anything to worry about.
Then all of a sudden, the ship shook under us. It only did for a second and then I saw a huge wave coming towards us.
For just one second I wondered about what to do. Then I grabbed an anger and threw it over the edge of the ship and maybe we could at least stay floating but the anchor disappeared and it didn't help. I looked around me for mum and Cam but they had disappeared and the wave kept coming…
I flew up into sitting position with a gasp.
It had only been a dream…
But I could still remember the feeling of when I saw that wave coming towards me and mum and Cam disappeared…
I got out of bed, there was no point with trying to fall back asleep. Maybe if I did the dream would just return and I couldn't risk that.
03: 16
There was still hours until I'd actually have to be awake for my shift at the dumping ground though.
At last, almost without thinking about it I went to turn the TV on, sat on the couch and maybe I would fall asleep watching it.
I didn't. And by the time the morning came my head was aching with fatigue. Still, I came looking towards the clock and wondering how early I could come to the dumping ground without it seeming so weird I couldn't come up with an excuse.
At last I was there early in the afternoon and knew I'd have to trick Gina…
"Tracy? What are you doing here already? You're not supposed to be here for hours."
"I know." I answered. "But now Cam isn't home I figured I'd come early and get caught up in some paper work. I talked to Mike on the phone and he told me I might just as well…"
Gina only watched me for several seconds, and for a while I was afraid that maybe she'd actually go ask Mike to confirm what I had said.
I was saved when suddenly the phone called and Gina, who was closer to it had to turn her mind away from me.
"Hello. Elm tree house…"
Once she was concentrated on the phone call I turned towards the document locker on my other side, pulled out one drawer and took a binder of paper sheets randomly.
It was right though. The paper work needed to get caught up in and sorted.
I could use that excuse really. Meanwhile I tried to ignore my head pounding from fatigue.
It was far from the first few lies I had told. It wouldn't be so hard…
Right?
Random fact
Yet another chapter started for weeks even though it was only a few sentences left to write.
