Sinclair and the stranger sat at a table under one of Rapture's odd equivalents of skylights. While they were waiting for their sea bass to arrive, Sinclair chattered on about the fish itself coming from Fontaine Fisheries and the beer batter coming from his own distillery back in Fort Frolic. The stranger stared off in the distance.

"Hey, you alright, sport?" Sinclair asked, unconsciously putting his hand on the other man's.

The stranger sighed. "Yeah, sorry, it's just… having everyone here watching me just feels weird."

"You were the one to find a way to climb up one of Doc Langford's trees…"

"Alright, you got me there," the stranger said, cracking a smile.

Just then a waitress arrived with their lunch. As they ate, Sinclair tried unsuccessfully to ask about who the stranger was, so the conversation turned to people Sinclair knew at the restaurant.

They finished eating, and Sinclair paid for the meal, after which he suggested, "why don't I take you to Ryan Amusements? They have an, uh, interesting exhibit on the history of Rapture. I need to check on a business prospect I have at the gift shop there anyway."

A long bathysphere ride across the city later, the stranger looked through the Rapture history displays in the lobby of Ryan Amusements before continuing onto the Journey to the Surface ride while Sinclair checked in on the gift shop's owner.

The stranger waited back in the lobby for Sinclair to finish. "I know it's got to have been a long day for you," Sinclair said, "but d'you mind if we backtrack a bit to the farmers' market in Arcadia so I can pick up a few things for dinner? You do want to stick around for dinner, right?" "Why not? I mean, I don't really know anyone else here."
