"Koffing sludge" koffing used sludge on Riolu's eyes
"You think your cheap tricks will help you then you're wrong Riolu use your aura to make out their location" Riolu's protrusion around his head started floting in the air and he was able see the outline of ekans and koffing by using his aura

Koffing and Ekans fell near team rocket

Ash cleared Riolu's eyes and used a potion

A hours later
Ash and Misty walking in the forest just then a sudden voice came from behind them
"Are you the trainer from the pallet" Unknown person said
"Umm yes why"Ash said nervously why is this dangerous looking person was looking for him
The unknown person introduced him self as samurai and pulled out his katana from its sheth and challenged
"Ok challenge accepted" Ash said with a smirk on his face
"Go Metapod and show them what we are made of" Samurai yelled out
"Go Caterpie string shot and the tackle"Ash said
Caterpie shot a string shot and immediately went to tackle the Metapod
"Metapod use harden" Samurai said
The tackle was a detect hit but it didn't do much damage
Caterpie used tackle a few more times the same as Metapod used harden

And Caterpie did just that and Metapod fainted after hitting a tree

Caterpie jumped into Ash arms he started to glow and Evolved into Metapod

Pidgeotto flew up in the sky and hit pinsir directly in the chest

Pinsir was surrounded by aura and started running towards Pidgeotto but before he could reach her she flew in the air and started attacking with Gusts of air
"Pinsir fainted we won without even getting a scratch" Ash cheared
Ash recalled Pidgeotto and went closer to Samurai and asked "Is Pinser okay"
Samurai took his wallet out "Yes he will be alright just need to get him to pokemon centre"
Samurai gave Ash his winnings and went towards Pewter City
it has been some time since Ash defeated Samurai and Ash and Misty were finally out of the Viredien forest
"AAAH FINALLY WE ARE OUT OF THAT BUG FILLED PLACE" Misty shouted while standing on a rock
"Oh come on it was not that bad"Ash said while sweat dropping

Flint has tan skin and spiky brown hair. Like Brock, his eyes are closed. he wears a yellow t-shirt with rolled up sleeves, a black belt with a silver buckle, dark teal cargo pants, and black shoes. When disguising himself, he wears a red beanie, a fake beard, and white gloves. In Grating Spaces, He wears a black blazer with a red turtleneck sweater underneath, khaki pants, and brown loafers.

"Pewter City is as gray as stone and from these stone there is a high chance of getting a fossil out of this stone you can buy if you want to" Flint said while walking through his stones while Ash and Misty were following him
While walking Misty saw a weird helix shaped stone and asked "whats that over there ? " while pointing to the stone
"Ooh that is The Helix Fossil isa fossil that Omanyte can be resurrected from."Flint said So i prosume you want the Helix fossil"

While Ash was doing that Riolu doing some searching of his own, Riolu found a orange coloured stone he picked up the stone and went to Ash

"well thats because very few people come here so if i sell my merchandise in then more people will come to me"Said Flint with a rain cloud over his head

Ash and Misty finally reached towards a Pokemon centre
"Finally a real bed a helix fossil today is the best day" Misty sighed in happiness
