Chapter 03: After the Battle.
-Room, (The Next Day) -
And after a well-deserved night's sleep, our hero opened his eyes.
"Where I am?" Luffy said to himself as he looked at the ceiling.
That roof, shouldn't be there since he had slept outside so that soft bed that he is in now shouldn't be there either.
But slowly the memories of what happened began to appear in Luffy's mind.
He appears in that castle, helping that long-eared girl in exchange for her helping him, meeting some very nasty guys that he defeated, and finally falling asleep.
"Ah yeah, I am in a castle," Luffy said remembering everything.
At that moment the door opened and Chloe entered the room.
"Good that you woke up." She said in a neutral tone. "I had been sent to wake you up but this makes it all that simple."
Luffy recognized that girl as the subordinate that Origa helped him rescue.
"You. Your name was..." Said Luffy who closed his eyes and tried to remember the name of that girl in front of him. He knew that the girl he rescued said the name of his subordinate that they had to rescue. "K... Kuroe?" Luffy tried, although Chloe was not amused by having her name wrong.
"Chloe, my name is Chloe." She said in a cold voice.
"Oh right," said Luffy who remembered that Origa had called his subordinate by that name.
At that moment Luffy noticed that his head had nothing on top.
Chloe recognized what Luffy was looking for by the way he touched his head.
"If you're looking for your hat it's there." Chloe gestured to a small desk that was just to the right side of the bed.
Immediately after revealing the location of her hat, Luffy reached out to get it and put it on her head.
"If you feel ready you can accompany me to the dining room, Olga-sama is waiting for you," Chloe said.
"Ah, Origa is there." Luffy nodded remembering that that was the name of the other girl with big ears that he saved, although he mispronounced it.
Hearing Luffy make a mistake with the name of his Queen, Chloe clenched her fists to contain the desire to attack him for her daring.
"Her name is Olga-sama," Chloe said, emphasizing a certain word so Luffy wouldn't forget. "She told me that since you're a guest I have to take you to breakfast with her."
"How nice She was already making me hungry!" Said a cheerful Luffy who immediately jumped out of bed and started running towards the door.
"Wait! Do you even know where the dining room is?" Chloe yelled when she saw that Luffy was going to leave the room.
That was the best since if Luffy left then Chloe would not be able to find him and he would end up getting tired of him after running hungry and at the same time lost in the castle.
"Ah, I don't know," said Luffy who realized that as soon as he was opening the door to run away in who he knows which direction.
Chloe sighed starting to think that this guy was an idiot out of battle.
"Follow me." She indicated. "I'll take you to Olga-sama." Yes, Chloe started to guide Luffy.
-Dining room-
In a dining room with a table for several people was the Queen of the Dark Elves.
Sitting there she was Olga Discordia. Yet it was clear that she had seen better days.
But even with that she still looked as beautiful as she always was even though she was visibly tired.
The reason Olga looked tired was because she hadn't slept at all since the night before. She managed to find a library and began to search maps on the island that Luffy was looking for to no avail, which extended to cover the entire night but still did not work.
And now after all she was visibly tired from the exhausting day before when she was captured and she came close to losing her purity and finally looking at books all night only to find nothing in the end.
But she had to do it since Luffy fulfilled the part of her promise and therefore it was up to Olga to fulfill the part of her in which she had given her word.
That's when she heard the sound of the door opening.
"Good Morning!" Luffy said with encouragement who immediately sat next to Olga as if doing so was not a big deal, as if she was just a normal girl and not a Queen.
Olga looked at him with surprise since usually, no one would sit next to her if she had to eat with more people due to the respect she had.
For her part, Chloe looked at him irritated by such a lack of respect (In the sense of not treating her with due respect) for Olga, She was about to attack Luffy for that but then she remembered the difference in powers that existed between them and manage to stop barely.
"Good morning, Luffy." She greeted them, and even though she was a human who sat right next to her, Olga greeted him with respect.
Probably the only human she would treat with respect.
"Ohh, that food looks delicious," Luffy commented seeing how Olga had a plate of meat finally cut along with a potato equally cut that way and finally with a white sauce in the middle.
She generally looked very appetizing, although for Luffy every type of food is palatable.
Olga's food was clearly well prepared. Being her personal assistant Chloe knew how to cook as well as how to fight since her duty was to assist her Queen in whatever might happen, be it in battle or things like that.
"I have no obligation to do so, but Olga-sama said it was better if I gave you food." Chloe sighed at the fact that she should bring food to a human, but Olga said it would be unacceptable to let whoever saved them go hungry even being a human. "The mercenaries left their rations in a cellar, I'll just bring you some dried meat or something like that."
"Yes, meat!" He celebrated a Luffy who after his night's sleep already wanted to try his favorite food one more time.
What Chloe didn't know was that the portion she had in mind wouldn't be enough for Luffy.
-Ten minutes later-
And besides his incredible skills in battle and his ability to stretch Olga and Chloe were again surprised by something that Luffy had done.
This time it was something that had nothing to do with his combat capabilities, but something much more mundane.
"H-How can a human eat so much…" An incredulous Chloe was heard muttering as she watched Luffy grab the food that was in range and put it in his mouth to swallow it in a matter of seconds and then look for more.
Indeed now Olga and Chloe were seeing how Luffy devoured huge amounts of food.
At first, Chloe only brought a little of the food from the mercenaries' supplies thinking that it would be enough but Luffy showed that this was not the case by finishing in seconds the little food that Chloe had brought her.
In the end, Chloe had no choice but to take those supplies from the Mercenaries and carry them on a cart to the dining room for Luffy to immediately put his hands in and start swallowing.
"Maybe his stomach is rubber too and is that why he can eat so much?" Olga theorized when she saw with amazement how Luffy kept eating it really was a bizarre image for those who saw her for the first time and that she could use magic and previously commanded monsters.
But for those who were used to it, it was the daily bread.
And in that way, Luffy ended up eating in less than ten minutes almost all the supplies from the mercenaries that were supposed to last several days.
"Huh, that was good." A happy Luffy commented who touched his stomach which had somehow returned to normal despite being totally inflated from the food consumed very recently.
With his stomach already full of it, Luffy looked expectantly at Olga.
"And could you find how far away Rusukaina is?" Luffy asked for the information that he wanted to know and that Olga had promised to help him return to that island.
"I couldn't find information in the books in this place even looking all night." She admitted, even though her pride made admitting things like this a bit complicated. "But I think it's because the bookstore was not very big so I just ask you for a little time before I can tell you how to get to that island. "said Olga, who was proud to make that request for more time to Luffy but that request was to fulfill her or his promise.
Normally she would expect that upon hearing that a man would be angry that he had kept her part of a promise but that she could not yet fulfill her part. In a world like this things were usually like this.
"Ah, no problem," Luffy replied simply, who stopped for a moment to give Olga his answer and as he did so he started to eat again.
"Are you really okay with waiting?" She asked in surprise as she assumed that the boy would have trouble waiting to get her answer.
"I still have plenty of time before I have to get to meet my crew at Sabaody." Replied a nonchalant Luffy.
He had about two and a half months to dawdle before he definitely had to return to Rusukaina, which is why Luffy wasn't so worried now. In addition, he believed in Olga's words and since she had kept awake trying to find Rusukaina, Luffy saw that she was someone who would definitely fulfill his promise.
"Sabaody?" On her side, Olga was confused to hear again the name of a place that she did not know about, although perhaps if she could find that place she could find where 'Rusukaina' was.
Although when mentally repeating Luffy's words, Olga Discordia noticed a detail.
"Wait a minute?" She said. "Are you separated from your crew?" Asked the Queen of the Dark Elves.
After all, as far as she knew, the Pirates acted in a group and so far Luffy was alone here.
"Yes," Luffy said wistfully as he took the hat from his head and put it in his hands to observe it in detail.
After all that was the hat that had been with him during all that adventure and journey with the others.
"We had a very difficult battle where the enemy ended up separating us," Luffy explained. "After realizing that we were not ready to continue our adventure I sent them a message saying that in two years after training to be stronger we should meet and that's why I have to be in Rusukaina, because after a few months we can meet in Sabaody and continue our adventure." He finished his explanation. Luffy put his hat on his head again.
"I see..." Olga nodded, She felt that what Luffy was saying was a very simplified version of everything but she refrained from asking further even when she was curious, but since Luffy was going to help her stop Vault she did not wish to inconvenience him with many questions.
"I still have about three months left so I have time but I must go back to Rusukaina because from there they will take me to where I have to meet them." Said Luffy who looked at Olga. "So I hope you fulfill your promise to meet the on the way to Rusukaina."
"Don't talk nonsense," Chloe said coldly who hadn't moved from her position next to Olga. "Of course, a Queen like Olga-sama would undoubtedly fulfill an agreement to which she gave her word, even if it is with a human like you," Chloe said those words to show her support for her Queen and belief that she might eventually find a way to help that human return to that island.
Of course like Olga, Chloe had no idea that the island that the Dark Elf Queen had to find to help Luffy get there was not in this world.
"You are a queen?" A curious Luffy asked after hearing Chloe's words since according to what he remembered she did not introduce herself as queen and if he did, Luffy did not pay much attention to her.
Although he was not at all impressed, after all, he had already met royalty in Alabasta.
"That's right, Olga-sama is the Queen of the Dark Elves," said Chloe who was standing next to Olga sitting. "You should be honored that a human like you can eat at the same table as Olga-sama." For her part, Chloe had eaten before preparing food for her Queen.
"Hey, but with just the two of you this castle is empty, don't you have any more helpers?" Luffy asked as he remembered that Vivi's castle was full of people in Alabasta but Chloe and Olga seemed to be alone.
Hearing that question, Olga and Chloe looked at each other, they both knew that an explanation would have to be given to Luffy.
"Actually this is not my castle." Olga explained. "This castle belonged to some nobleman from my country who abandoned it when they saw that the mercenaries who had captured me along with Chloe were approaching."
Luffy listened as he ate the last of the provisions on the wagon.
Since Luffy didn't seem to know much, Olga thought it would be good to explain a little more.
"My country has been at war with the country of Eostia to the south for about a hundred years." Olga began to explain. "Up to this point, the conflict has continued without any clear winner, until our enemies asked for help from a group of mercenaries led by Vault."
"So that's the name of that guy," Luffy said who at least already knew the name of the one who got away.
"However the leader of the mercenaries actually planned to conquer my country and the lands of the humans to form his Empire of Sex where women will be forced to accept whatever men wanted to do to them without exception," Olga said with a tone of disgust at the idea of Vault mostly because it involved the Dark Elves.
She had no compassion for the humans who ended up as victims of Vault's plans, however, as the Dark Elves in her territory would be forced as well Olga wanted to stop Vault. If the humans were saved it was only collateral damage for Olga.
"So he's a very bad guy." Luffy decided with a serious tone.
"For that, the first one wanted to conquer my country and then launch an attack against the Alliance of Seven Shields." Olga continued his explanation.
"Alliance of Seven Shields?" Luffy asked.
"It is the group formed by the Seven Warrior Princesses, they are the leading figures of the allied forces of Eostia to do against my forces, each one of them governs a city in Eostia except for one that has two of them ruling leaving a city without any Warrior Princess, "Chloe added.
"The cities are those of Feoh protected by Alicia Arcturus and Prim Fiorire, the city of Ur that is protected by the forces of Feoh, the city of Ken protected by Kaguya, the city of Ansur protected by Claudia Levantine, the city of Geofu protected for Maia, the city of Rad protected by Ruu Ruu and finally the city of Thorn where the Leader of the alliance, Celestine Lucross, is located. "Olga finished her explanation of the Alliance of the Seven Shields.
But when Olga finished explaining what she knew about Eostia ...
"Zzz... Meat... Zzz..." A sleeping Luffy was the one who replied, apparently, the Captain of the Straw Hat Pirates ended up falling asleep when Olga went on to explain about the cities of Eostia.
It took Olga and Chloe a few seconds to process what had happened.
Olga looked at Luffy with quite a surprise since this was the first time that someone fell asleep (since no one had the courage) in his presence.
Normally she would have used her magic (even if that tired her) to punish someone with the courage to fall asleep in front of her but curiously Olga did not find in herself the courage to get angry with Luffy.
"How weird…" She thought, certainly not finding within herself the coldness to punish Luffy was unusual.
Maybe it was him because he had saved her?
But whatever the fact that Olga herself didn't get angry it didn't mean that a certain assistant would react in the same way.
"How dare you fall asleep in front of Olga-sama!" She yelled a Chloe who immediately went to Luffy and hit him in the face.
"Hmm?" Said a confused Luffy who didn't even seem to notice that he had been hit, after all, compared to the blows from her grandfather or the blows from Nami, Chloe's blow was not much.
"I really can't believe it. If it had been someone else Olga-sama would have ordered your execution…" Chloe muttered in a very low voice, Clearly she was outraged by how Luffy seemed to care nothing that Olga was a Queen.
"The important thing is that Bulk is the cause of everything, right?" Luffy asked.
"Yes, keeping things simple, one could say yes." Olga nodded as she recovered from the surprise that Luffy had fallen asleep when she spoke.
"Alright then, I'll just go to where he is and kick his ass." Luffy declared his intentions.
"Are you going to defeat Vault?" Asked a surprised Chloe. After all, Luffy had no reason to go after him.
"If we leave him alone he will attack you again." Luffy decided after hearing the explanation but before falling asleep.
"Would you do that for us?" A surprised Olga asked at Luffy's words since usually, the event would never occur in which a human decided to protect helping the Dark Elves in that way.
"Now we are friends." Luffy declared with a smile.
Seeing that smile both Dark Elves had felt something warm in their hearts upon hearing Luffy's honest voice saying that he thought of them as friends.
However, Chloe was the first to free herself from that warm feeling and quickly changed the subject.
"That kind of trash those mercenaries are would run amok without a leader," Chloe said. "As they will have made enemies with the Seven Shields Alliance they would end up eliminated in no time."
"I understand, so the plan to take down Vault directly is the best option." Olga nodded.
But Chloe noticed a small detail.
"Wait you never said you would kill him." She said to which Luffy nodded. "So you won't kill Vault." More than a question Chloe was making a statement.
"Correct." Luffy nodded.
"Now that I think about it, you didn't kill anyone either during the fight you had," Olga added, remembering that despite receiving a brutal beating, all the mercenaries and monsters were badly damaged but alive and it was up to Chloe to deliver the blow of grace.
"It will be possible. Are you one of those who don't kill?" A surprised Chloe asked Luffy.
After all, in a world like this, warriors who didn't take the lives of their opponents were a rarity especially, a pirate since according to what they knew those guys were murderous rapists.
"I can actually kill," Luffy admitted without difficulty or complication. "But I don't do it for a particular reason."
Both Dark Elves looked at him expectantly at his response.
"Where I come from, men live for their dreams and risk their lives to defend them, I include myself among them." Luffy began to explain while Olga and Chloe listened carefully to see if they could understand why Luffy would leave a scum like Vault alive.
"When I defeat them I destroy the dreams of those people and for them having their dreams destroyed is as bad as death, killing their bodies does not come to the point." Continued the Captain of the Straw Hats. "To me, I care about my enemies more than victory or defeat than our lives." Luffy finished his explanation.
When Luffy finished his explanation the Queen of the Dark Elves and the Half Dark Elf looked surprised at Luffy as he had said something quite profound.
"That was very profound. Is that idiotic attitude just an act?" She muttered to herself a Chloe who didn't know what to think of Luffy.
And as if to give him an answer, Luffy stretched his arm towards the food cart to take out a piece of meat that had been left and he put it in his mouth and swallowed it in an instant with a satisfied smile on his face.
"I withdraw my words. He is truly an idiot." Chloe sighed at the idea that a boy with that level of intelligence would be her ally in defeating the Black Dogs.
On the part of her after hearing the reasons why Luffy did not kill, Olga was again impressed by that human made of rubber.
"I never thought of it like that…" Olga muttered after hearing Luffy's explanation about why he didn't kill his enemies.
And thinking of giving that fate to Vault instead of executing it as she had planned.
"Very good." She decided after thinking. "Luffy will you defeat Vault to end his dreams." Even if she preferred to kill him upon hearing what Luffy said to Olga, she had the desire to see Vault in a pathetic state with their dreams being destroyed.
"Maybe we can have him trapped in some prison." Suggested Chloe who also accepted that it was better to leave Vault alive. "But only him, all the other followers of him will be underground," Chloe said that although Vault was going to receive special treatment and live, for her the scum that she decided to follow him was better dead.
"Okay!" Luffy nodded at that condition.
After hearing all this, Olga knew that there was only one decision that could be made to ensure the ultimate defeat of the Leader of the Black Dogs.
"Until Vault is defeated I propose an alliance between us." Was the offer that Olga made, for her Without Luffy defeating Vault would be very difficult due to the monsters that allied with him but Luffy could defeat said monsters as if it were a game she had confidence in him.
"Alright, this is the Pirate and Dark Elf Alliance!" Said an excited Luffy.
Olga couldn't help but give a small smile, Without a doubt Luffy's mood could be contagious and even someone like her was starting to be affected.
On the part of her Chloe although she was not smiling one could notice the fact that she did not protest that now she was technically an ally of a human.
"I'm going to kick that guy's ass!" Luffy said with certainty in his voice. "I give you my word!" And when someone like Luffy gives his word he keeps it. "After he dealt with it, you can take me back to Rusukaina!"
Seeing that Luffy was agreeing to continue fighting Vault and also that she would have more time to search that island, Olga nodded in approval at Luffy's words.
"Perfect so I can better find the location of that island," Olga said.
"So do you know where those guys are?" Asked a certain Luffy since now that he had things clearer, he only needed to know where to find this Vault.
"When they were taking us to this castle Vault spoke freely about his plans in front of us believing that he had already won," Olga explained although certainly, Vault had virtually won his plan seemed to have no problems until Luffy appeared out of nowhere.
But luckily she was going to use the information that he so arrogantly revealed to stop his plans.
"From what he said, his forces will first attack the city closest to my territory which is Feoh." Olga revealed.
"But if that's the case…" Chloe muttered to herself, who upon hearing that knew that reaching them would be impossible no matter how fast the horses were leading them.
"Alright, we should just go there! Is Bulk in Feoh?" Luffy asked.
Olga nodded at that question.
"As he was denied the pleasure of taking my virginity," Olga said with a bit of difficulty and an evident grimace of disgust on her face at the mention of that. "I think it is very likely that he was present in that attack to be able to enjoy what he couldn't."
She was not only in her position because of what was once her enormous magical power, but also because she was competent at planning.
"If Bulk is going to be in that city then that's what matters." Replied a determined-looking Luffy. "Just take me there and I'll kick his ass and his men."
"You really are a simple person or just stupid," Chloe muttered to herself who when seeing him out of battle couldn't decide if Luffy was someone brave or someone stupid, although it seemed to be both together.
"Unfortunately Feoh is one night away," Olga replied as she shook her head at Luffy. "Even if we left now and went full speed we would be very late."
"So what can we do?!" Asked a frustrated Luffy upon hearing that he couldn't make it in time since the Straw Hat Pirate was already mentally ready to go kick Vault's butt.
Still, Olga didn't look worried as if she had the confidence that it was possible to be there despite the distance since she would not have suggested going to where Vault would be if getting there on time was impossible.
"Don't yell at Olga-sama!" Said an irritated Chloe at Luffy's words, in fact, she wanted to go to him and stab him for that lack of respect.
"Don't worry Luffy." Said a calm, Olga. "I wouldn't have told you that information if arriving on time was impossible."
"And how will we get there?" Asked a confused Luffy who couldn't figure out how they were going to get there on time.
"Using my magic may be possible-" But before she could finish Luffy cut her off.
"CAN YOU USE MAGIC?!" Exclaimed a marveling Luffy who had stars in his eyes when he looked at Olga.
"That's right." Nodded at Olga who looked strangely at Luffy for that unusual reaction. Usually, it was fear or respect.
"Awesome!" An excited Luffy was heard saying. "You really are a cool girl!" And no lies could be heard in his voice everything he said was true.
Olga couldn't help but blush at Luffy's honest words of astonishment. After all, for her, this was the first time someone reacted like this to her magic.
"T-Thank you..." She replied with a softer voice and with the blush still present on her face.
Luckily for her, Luffy was too dense to notice what a blush and voice like Olga's could mean right now.
But equally to Luffy's bad luck, the other Dark Elf present could see the Queen's reaction to her perfectly.
On the part of her Chloe seeing how Olga had reacted, started looking at Luffy with a look full of jealousy. Also, the Half-Dark Elf clenched her fists tightly as she began to feel jealousy.
"Calm down. That boy is necessary to finish off those mercenaries." Chloe thought to herself in an attempt to control herself, even though it was difficult to contain the desire to attack Luffy. It could be said that in a way Chloe's feelings of loyalty and admiration towards Olga could border on feelings that went beyond the loyalty of a subordinate.
That is why seeing how a man was able to get that kind of reaction from a person like Olga who usually had a lot of confidence began to form jealousy within Chloe.
"And what is your magic going to do?" Asked an expectant Luffy who already wanted to see that magic in person.
Regaining her composure by remembering that she was the Queen of the Dark Elves and that was why she could not lose her composure in front of someone else, Olga gave her answer to Luffy.
"I can use a spell to teleport us to Feoh." I reveal Olga. "It will consume my energy but it will serve to carry us in a matter of seconds."
"When Olga-sama takes us to that place she will be defenseless and I will protect her," Chloe said to Luffy, putting some emphasis on the fact that she would be protecting the Queen from him. "You just take care of taking down those mercenaries and their monsters allies."
"I'm ready." Said a determined Luffy who had his fists ready to give those guys another beating. After a night's sleep and the food consumed, the Capital of the Straw Hat Pirates felt ready for anything.
Defeating Vault especially, gave Luffy more motivation to keep going. After all, the only blow this could give the leader of the mercenaries left the Captain of the Straw Hat Pirates wanting to hit him more.
"I'm ready too, Olga-sama." Chloe said loyally and professionally. "No matter what happens I will protect her." And from her tone of voice, one could tell that Chloe was really determined to comply this time with protecting her queen.
Olga nodded when she saw that the two were ready to be transported. Knowing how advanced the spell was that Olga was going to cast she knew that she would be rendered unconscious after using it.
He was knocked unconscious in the middle of enemy territory that would be full of mercenaries and monsters was a great risk, but Olga was confident that Chloe and Luffy could keep her safe. On Chloe for how loyal and dedicated she was and Luffy for her great power.
"Very good." So Olga took a deep breath and began to concentrate on using that specific spell.
To Luffy's astonishment, a red magic circle large enough for the three of them materialized on the floor below them in a single instant.
"I never thought that I would be using this spell to help humans." Thought she found a certain humor in the irony of the situation since what she was going to do very possibly means the salvation of the city that the Black Dogs would be attacking right now.
If the circumstances were different, Olga would have used that same spell to send members of her troops into human territory in a surprise attack.
And now to fulfill her revenge against those mercenaries, Olga Discordia would end up helping other humans to deny the Kuroinu their objectives, which showed the priority that their fall had become for the Queen of the Dark Elves.
"Ruura!" Olga declared whose scepter began to glow, which immediately the magic circle under the feet of the three began to glow with intensity.
A ray of light shot out of the castle dining room that only had corpses of humans and ogres rotting inside. The only trace of the last living people who were there was a magic circle that continued to shine but gradually faded away.
At the speed at which they were going, Luffy and his two companions should be able to reach the city that was under attack in a minute or two.
Vault was sure that this time he could succeed as the boy who caused him so much trouble was too far away to do anything. This time his group of mercenaries could satisfy his sexual desires.
However, Luffy was on his way to where the mercenaries were attacking along with the monsters that allied with them.
The one who was the only one who had the power to face them directly, the Black Dogs was approaching.
The next girls Luffy would make an impact on would be Alicia Arcturus and Prim Fiorire. Along with actually starting to be known as the one who could take on the group of mercenaries known as the Black Dogs.
After all, after sleeping and eating well, Luffy was ready for anything.
-City of Feoh-
Right now one of the cities of the Alliance of Seven Shields was in serious trouble.
A little over an hour ago, the mercenaries of the Black Dogs who were helped by various monsters managed to break the walls that protected Feoh, attacking a part of the wall that was very weakened.
The state of this part of the wall was a secret that only a few people knew since such a great weakness could not be made public in these times of war because Feoh would be very vulnerable.
Due to the surprise attack, the city was responding with great difficulty and anyone could tell that they were shortly after being outmatched.
All those who were not soldiers ended up being sent to the Church of the city which was the safest place that could protect many people, although the doors of the Church would not be able to stand forever.
In the city where the battle was taking place, a ray of light landed from the sky on a roof. The process was so fast that no one saw it.
Olga's spell had accomplished her goal of bringing them to Feoh in a matter of seconds.
"Whoa! That was great!" Said an excited Luffy after that trip at incredible speeds.
Immediately he went to see if the others had arrived safely, Chloe looked without any problems, but Olga.
Olga looked quite exhausted kneeling on the ground and using her scepter to try and stay on her knees.
"Hey, are you okay?" Asked a worried Luffy who instantly went to his ally's side.
"Olga-sama." Said a worried Chloe who immediately went to Olga's side.
"S-Some time ago m-my powers have b-been declining." She managed to say with enough difficulty. Then Olga looked at Chloe to imply that she wanted the Half-Dark Elf to continue speaking since for Olga speaking at the moment was a great effort.
Chloe sighed as she realized that she would have to continue since the information itself was one that the Half-Dark Elf personally preferred that the boy did not know.
But an order from her beloved Queen was an order even if it wasn't spoken verbally.
"Before Olga-sama was able to become Queen and command the monsters of our territory because they feared her enormous magical power," Chloe said to which Luffy nodded showing that she understood. "But now a spell that she could have used a hundred times before showing tiredness now leaves her exhausted with just one use," Chloe said with sadness in her voice for what was happening to Olga with her magical powers.
Even though they had both desperately searched for a cause and a cure for Olga's condition, nothing came to mind.
"Wow, that sucks." A Luffy commented who was sincere since the idea of getting tired of being used with the same powers that one could use over and over again was frankly something very annoying.
"I'll stay here to protect her." Said a determined Chloe who took out the knife that she took from one of the mercenaries she killed.
"She trusted that you would protect her very well." Said Luffy who gave her typical smile.
"S-Sure I will!" Replied Chloe who tried to sound serious but had a slight blush on her face, which made her mentally curse herself for reacting like that thanks to a human.
She might loathe humans, but receiving words like that from someone other than her Queen was something Chloe hadn't experienced.
Yet her determination to protect the Queen from her was true to the point that Chloe was ready to sacrifice herself if necessary.
In addition to the mercenaries and her allied monsters, it was also very likely that the humans who protect this city would attack the weakened Olga as soon as they saw her after all the Queen of the Dark Elves had a more than negative reputation for humans.
So Chloe was determined not to move at all to ensure the life of the Queen.
For his part, Luffy looked from the ceiling at how things were in the city, and indeed as he imagined it, the mercenaries and monsters were clearly dominating the soldiers who were desperately trying to hold out.
"I need more speed and power." Luffy decided after seeing how the battlefield was with the enemies already quite scattered around the city.
Besides he needed to find Vault fast and get rid of the enemies below.
And to have more speed there was only one option.
"Second Gear." A Luffy said calmly with an active movement throughout his body that technique. Now her skin was reddish and steam was pouring out of her.
"A-Again his body changed from him," Chloe muttered shocked when she saw those changes that although they were not as noticeable as those of the giant fist, implied that Luffy was stronger than before.
"I'm leaving!" announced Luffy who leaped from the roof straight onto the streets of Feoh and started running.
"So fast!" It was what went through Chloe's mind when she saw Luffy moving at incredible speeds.
And just Luffy hit the streets at an incredible speed every mercenary or monster that appeared in his path ended up being defeated by a blow.
"I really feel very safe since that boy doesn't consider us as the enemy." Finally, after seeing how Luffy defeated the monsters and mercenaries in the streets with one blow, Chloe was able to say those words.
And what she didn't know was that Luffy had more tricks up his sleeve.
AUTHOR'S NOTES:
Well, my dear readers, here is another chapter of this story, a calmer chapter but it is my style to do chapters like this before immediately returning to action.
This was more of a transitional chapter after the battle of Luffy vs. the members of Kuroinu and for Luffy to get to Feoh to help Alicia and Prim in what would be once again facing Vault and theirs.
Also, it shows that Luffy and Olga make an alliance to defeat Vault, which would inevitably lead Luffy to meet the Warrior Princesses since opposing Vault would mean saving them.
Also here Luffy has no problem with them killing the enemies that he defeats, in short I think he is one of those who would not accept that in the end, Luffy is not so honorable (As when I use Helmeppo or one of the subordinates of Arlong as a shield to protect yourself).
Well, as you can see, there is not much to say as this is a transitional chapter. I also thank you for the support shown and as Luffy ended up in a city that is a battlefield in the next chapter it will be where there will be more action.
Olga is the one who is opening up more about accepting Luffy (Especially since no one had been so casual with her) while Chloe will still remain against hers for being a human.
