Deep Sea King was one of the many competitors who quickly jumped into the action, sprinting towards the first opponent he saw, which happened to be the Ninth's Great General Budo. The amphibian humanoid jumped backwards to avoid the giant arm that came crashing down, and retaliated with his own uppercut, hitting the mark. But it only made contact with the general's encased iron gauntlets, absorbing most of the force behind the attack.

"What's wrong?!" Deep Sea King taunted, his frighteningly humongous stature towering over the deceased general. "Can't take a hit like a man?!"

Budo kept quiet, not giving his opponent any satisfaction during their duel. He reared his left foot, and sent it flying at the towering titan's exposed stomach. Blood escaped from his mouth, skidding back on the grounds. He quickly halted himself with a hard stomp with his nails digging into the ring, almost breaking through the Kachi Katchin tiles below him. The recoil from the blow still got to him as he fell on a knee.

Budo narrowed his eyes, observing his opponent. He was still in the game, but as demonstrated, this creature represented the sort of people who rush into fights without thinking of a strategy in advance or trying to adapt, but in this case it was warranted. After all, this Tournament of Power now gave off a sense of Russian Roulette, they couldn't always choose who to fight, and they could either face someone weaker, or stronger than them.

"Get up," Budo ordered. "I know there's still more fight left in you."

Deep Sea King sneered as he rose to his feet in no time, his left hand clutching his stomach. "Heh, not bad, for a puny human! But don't get so cocky!"

As quickly as he could, he leaped, completely assured he would get his payback, but his ears picked up something rapidly approaching. He and Budo quickly fled away from the oncoming row of ice seeping onto the arena headed their way.

Before the dead ruler of the Seafolk had time to wonder where that attacked originated from, another one quickly brought him down from the air, thrown against one of the many rock formations formed in the short span of time from the fighting around them.

Deep Sea King pulled himself out of what was left of the rock, shrugging the marble off his skin, now face to face with Shoto Todoroki and Fumikage Tokoyami.

"Some kids... and two against one? Isn't that a bit cowardly?"

"The survival of our Universe is at stake," retorted Todoroki, with a bitter cold seeping off his body. "So whether you or not you think we behave like cowards or not, for us any strategy is good to take."

Meanwhile, Trafalgar Law had been watching the ordeal from above, taking great interest in the Twelfth Universe because of their distinct powers, they held such unique capabilities despite not having consumed any Devil Fruit, at least he assumed so. Those metal man and fish man characters didn't interest him just yet.

The Surgeon of Death turned around just in time, high-tailing off the rock as it exploded to bits from an energy ball. Now on the tiled floor, he was able get a good view of his attackers, which happened to be the two Namekians from the Sixth.

He hoped he had a bit more time to observe everyone before being forced into a fight, but it seemed fate had other plans for him.

"Some green people, huh?" mused Law as he seethed his sword, now at ready. "Alright, let's see what you've got."

He kept his eyes on the charging pair of Saonel and Pilina, as a sphere of light blue aura manifested in his left hand, and waited for them to get close enough. At the right time, he used his ROOM technique, creating a large dome around himself and his opponents. Usually this technique is hard to notice thanks to its transparency, but the surrounding sky was so dark the technique was as clear as its caster.

The Namekians halted their charge, gazing around the room in confusion. They didn't feel anything from this, so it didn't look like an attack to them.

Thanks to their sensitive hearing, they caught wind of the first step Law took with his weaponry in tow. Saonel took action first and promptly kicked his brother in arms out of the bubble and followed suit. Law didn't anticipate this, and was frustrated at himself for not being fast enough to attack them sooner. The incalculable speed of his opponents was going to be a hassle for him.

"Careful, brother," warned Pilina. "We still don't know anything about what those spheres he can create can do. Attacking at close-range isn't an option."

Saonel nodded, stepping forward. "Yeah, I get it now. Let me handle this one."

He raised both of his hands towards Law, and fired rocketing balls of energy from both of them. The lanky pirate rolled out of the way, expecting the attacks to collide with the rocks behind him. He didn't hear anything of the sort, as the very same attacks were heading towards him.

"Now they're chasing me?!" Law cursed these techniques. It gave his opponents a great advantage over him since he couldn't escape them. No matter where or how far he jumped, they always found him.

But... this could work to his advantage. The Namekians weren't too far from him, he just had to hope they were gullible enough to fall for his trap. Leaping from structure to structure, he made his way to the green-skinned aliens in no time flat.

As he hoped, they were caught off guard by this tactic, and he took the opportunity to slice each of their left arms off, before gaining enough distance from them to let the energy balls make a direct hit on them.

It took time, but the smoke did clear, and both Namekians were using their right arm to clutch what was left of it. Law clutched his swords tightly, about to sprint to his opponents and finish them off, but he was caught off guard by both of them screaming, and a new arm regenerating from where they were cut.

So they can regenerate lost limbs too?! They never make things easy for me, don't they?

"So, now that you know cutting off our limbs will be pointless," taunted Saonel. "What's your next plan? Not much I bet since we're aware of your powers now."

Law grinned. "Is that right? Then al-"

His eyes enlarged, he and the Namekians' ears began to experience indescribable pain from hearing an obnoxious screech coming from nearby. None of them could even move or concentrate from how ear-piercing the sound was.

The next thing they knew, Pirina was struck in the abdomen, thrown back by an erect sound wave. Zebra, from the Second Universe let himself fall between Law and Saonel. This was the perfect opportunity for him, three warriors ripe for the picking. But those green slugs did look to be the most formidable, so maybe they should be taken out first. He saw one of them pulling the other up from the ground, no doubt because of him. Truth be told, his Sound Bazooka from earlier was a test to see just who could be affected from it, but it looked like those aliens took the hit the hardest. So even if they did look formidable, they were definitely going to be easy targets. Their ears did seem much bigger and more sensitive compared to that of someone like him.

Zebra opened his maw, his white teeth in full display, as what seemed to be a ball of energy began to charge up within it. Law assumed this was just like those energy techniques the Namekians and those Saiyans could do, but the targets for this attack knew this was something different. The Gourmet Hunter then let loose his Voice Missile attack, a pinkish white beam firing from his mouth and rocketing towards the Namekians. The both of them knew they couldn't escape it, so their only choice was to block up, and hopefully propel it upwards.

With a roar, they brought their arms forward, stopping the blast from crashing onto them. The force being put upon them was something mighty, they were sure had the other Namekians from their home world not have fused with them, they wouldn't stand a chance. But this was different. They had nearly all of the Namekian race and the Sixth Universe on their side, and they had a job to defend it.

They shot their arms up, with the attack following suit as it headed towards the dark sky, disappearing into the night. Their fingernails were singed but it was worth it.

Their bodies shivered in shock, Zebra dramatically landed, gazing at them right before their eyes with a cunning smirk, gifting Saonel a splendid punch, which knocked the wind out of the green alien. Seeing him land further away, Zebra sprinted towards him, preferring to fight him, rather than fight Law.

The pirate, still surprised by this man's abilities, decided it was best to let him go and deal with Saonel, as his gaze fell on Pirina, who stood up with difficulty. Law himself wasn't all that hurt, but the Namekian was a much more formidable force than he was. Even without his partner, he was sure he was going to have a lot more trouble defeating him than he expected.
