Ew, another chapter? But wait...something's different! The name! I- It's changed! What's going on? Why hasn't told me about this?
Hehe, anyways welcome back! I would have gotten this chapter out earlier but I wasn't happy with the final result so I went back and changed things. Still might be a bit too fast-paced but I'm sure a lot of you have been dying to finally get into the USJ action aaaaaaaaaaand that will be all next time LEL. The full-on action doesn't start till the next chapter since we're all still setting it up. But strap in cause it's going to be a bumpy one.
(Seatbelt sign has been turned on)
~{The next day}~
Aizawa walked in the classroom instead of All Might during today's hero training exercise. Why?
"It has been decided that today's Hero Basic training will be taught by me, All Might, and another teacher," He announced.
"Ano! What will we be doing?" Sero raised his hand up.
Aizawa pulled out a card and showed it to the class.
"Rescue training...anything from shipwrecks to natural disasters"
"Rescue training?" Kaminari said. "Seems like it'll be tough"
"I agree!" Ashido said.
"You kidding? It's the epitome of hero training," Kirishima said, pumping his fists. "I'm getting all fired up!"
"I'm still talking," Aizawa interrupted. "You can choose whether to wear your costume or not because some of them may limit your movement"
Aizawa hit a button on the remote control that opened up the storage lockers in the wall. Jeez, this is something I really need in my house. I mean think of all the space you could use-
"Can you shut up? I'm listening here," Shinjiro gave the fourth wall a hard knock. Wait, that's illegal!
"The training will occur off-campus so we'll be taking a bus. Get in your costumes and wait for me at the front of the school," With that Aizawa walked out.
Everyone got up from their seats and started taking their hero costumes. Midoriya sighed, knowing what had happened to his previous costume.
"I guess you're going to have to use the gym uniform huh," Shinjiro walked up to him.
"Yea, I'll have to wait for the support team to fix it, I guess that's going to take a while," Midoriya replied. "What about you?"
"Heh, you'll see," Shinjiro said before walking out of the classroom leaving some of the others confused.
A whistle was heard as it rang through the area. Iida was in his hero costume aside from the helmet getting ready to bark out orders.
"Listen, everyone! In order to enter the bus smoothly, we have to form two rows!" Iida blew the whistle again.
"Iida really is on full throttle huh?" Midoriya sweatdropped.
"Yo, Midoriya," Midoriya turned around to see Shinjiro in his trench coat again. But this time, it wasn't just the trench coat but a fedora as well.
Midoriya sweatdropped even more, but he still managed to smile at Shinjiro.
"Pfft!" Uraraka had seen Shinjiro's so-called hero costume and stifled a laugh. "What is your hero costume, Shinjiro? You look like a creep!"
"Shh, shh," Shinjiro put a finger to his mouth. "This ain't my hero costume. It's what's under"
"And what's that?" She asked.
"You'll see," Shinjiro formed a grin on his face.
"Hehehe, real soon EVERYONE will see this magnificent beauty!" In his deep thoughts, Shinjiro was forming a considerably concerning grin on his face. Although, Midoriya and Uraraka were the ones to notice it.
"Shinjiro-san, you're doing it again!" Midoriya nervously said.
"Wait...again?" Uraraka thought in horror.
Welp, it's time to get on the bus. Everybody sing along to the wheels on the bus while this time skip proves to you that nursery rhymes are important.
The bus was rather large, proving that Iida's method of lining up was in vain.
Midoriya was spacing out as he started thinking.
"Rescue missions huh? That means something like-" Images of All Might saving lives flashed in his mind. "-like those! This is my chance to go one step further into becoming a hero!"
"Midoriya-chan," A sudden voice snapped him out of his thoughts and he looked to his side.
"A- Asui-san?" He stuttered.
"Please, call me Tsu," Tsuyu said.
"Y- Yes..."
"Your quirk is pretty similar to All Might's," She said.
It startled Midoriya as Shinjiro lifted a brow, now listening to their conversation as he wasn't before. He was on Midoriya's right so he could listen in without being so suspicious.
"Y- You...you think so?" Midoriya stuttered. He was sweating bullets right now. "B- b- but I...well…."
"God damn it Midoriya," Shinjiro cringed at Midoriya's attempt.
"But Tsu, All Might doesn't get hurt," Kirishima interjected. "They just look the same"
Midoriya sighed in relief. "Thank you Kirishima"
"But y'know, it's kinda cool having a quirk like that. It's showy and versatile! It kind of sucks having a quirk like mine," Kirishima hardened his arm but looked rather down.
"B- But your quirk is pretty cool too Kirishima! I saw your battle trial the other day and the way you used it for the defense was amazing!"
"Thanks but it's not as showy and powerful as Todoroki's or Bakugo's," Kirishima pointed out to the ticking time bomb and the quiet ice kid at the back.
"Huh? What'd you say?" Bakugo forced his gaze towards them.
"Bakugo's always pissed off though so he'll never become popular," Tsuyu said, igniting the oil trail.
"What the hell! I will you stupid frog!" Bakugo yelled with cross-marked veins on his head.
"You see?"
"It's surprising that we've known each other for only a couple of days but your personality is like crap stewed in sewage," Kaminari...what have you done.
"What's wrong with your vocabulary! You wanna die!" Bakugo yelled at the human stun gun.
Midoriya held his head in his arms, listening to the conversation...actually more like dissing match.
"Kacchan's being teased! This really is U.A! "
"Can all of you be quiet!" Aizawa scolded. "We're almost there"
"Yes sir!" The class said.
"Hm?" Midoriya noticed Shinjiro spacing out again. "Shinjiro-san you okay?"
"Huh? Oh, yea. I'm fine...just having a feeling," Shinjiro said.
"About what?"
"Something off..." Shinjiro trailed off as the bus reached the off-campus location.
The building looked like a giant dome stadium as the students marveled at it as they got off the bus. In front of the building doors stood wearing a puffy white astronaut costume with yellow boots.
"Welcome everyone! We were waiting for you!" The astronaut held out both her hands.
"It's the space hero Thirteen!" Midoriya said in excitement. "The gentlemanly hero who excels at disaster relief!"
"I love Thirteen!" Uraraka said, jumping up and down from excitement.
"Let's go inside," Thirteen said, gesturing to the entrance.
"Thank you so much!" The class yelled out.
Once they walked in, they were greeted with a red carpet leading to a giant center filled with different scenarios like Aizawa had said. It ranged from a destroyed city to a fire dome.
"Woahh! It's just like Universal Studios!" Midoriya said, having stars in his eyes.
"Hold your horses there. We're not risking a copyright," Shinjiro said.
"Shipwrecks, mudslides, fires, storms, and much more..." Thirteen showed off the multiple sections of the studio. "I built this training center to prepare for any kind of accident or disaster. It's called the Ultimate Simulation Joint! Or the USJ for short."
Ah, what a way to kick off the next arc. Also, Thirteen pointing forward in a ballerina pose is adorable.
Aizawa walked up to Thirteen and asked: "Where's All Might? He's supposed to come here"
"Well you see..." She gestured him closer and whispered in his ear. "It seems he's done a lot of hero work and is resting right now"
Aizawa sighed and rubbed his eyes. "Seriously, he's so illogical," He turned to the class. "All Might won't be joining us for today, he's got something to do. Let's just get started now"
"Well, before we start I'd like to say a thing or two or three or four or five or six..."
The class formed a gloomy expression. "It's increasing..."
Thirteen raised her finger.
"Now as you all may know, my quirk is called Black Hole. I can suck anything in and turn it to ash," She explained.
"With that quirk, you can help anyone from any disaster right?" Midoriya excitedly asked.
"Yes, however, it's a quirk that can easily kill people. I'm sure some of you are the same"
Midoriya looked down at his arms and shivered, recalling the power he shot out during the battle trial, which could have easily killed Bakugo.
"In this superhuman society, quirks are certified and strictly monitored so that it may seem organized. But, remember that some of you have quirks that can easily kill someone with a simple mistake. This lesson is different from the other tests that you took. We'll learn how to use your quirks to save lives and that you'll all go home knowing that your powers exist to save people"
Everyone had the same thought in their minds. "Thirteen is so cool!"
The space hero then took a bow. "That will be all, thank you for listening!"
Everyone cheered in response.
"Wonderful!"
"Amazing!"
"It's just a speech, no need to get so worked up about it..." Shinjiro sighed.
"All right, so first we'll-" Aizawa's talk was cut short when the lights in the dome dimmed and started sparking. The fountain in the middle was starting and stopping it's water flow before coming to a halt as a black hole opened in its place.
Aizawa's eyes widened as he turned around to see the black mist spread open. It encompassed a significant area before two bright yellow eyes flashed and a significant player emerged out of it.
"No way...it's him!" Shinjiro mentally said. "Same proportions, only...why is he wearing hands?"
Proportions is no way to tell if it's that person or not!
"Aizawa...it's him," Shinjiro looked at the teacher. They watched as countless goons emerged from the portal, all forming up in the center of USJ.
"Stay in one group!" Aizawa instructed before pulling down his goggles. "Thirteen, protect the students"
"Is this like the entrance exam? Has it already started?" Kirishima looked rather curious as he and the others watched on.
"Are you dumb?" Shinjiro shot him a glare.
"Nobody move!" Aizawa yelled. "Those are real villains"
Nearly everyone recoiled in fear once they had heard him say that. Shivers travelled through their bodies and paralyzed them.
"What the fuck..." Shinjiro mentally sighed. "Could this day get any worse?"
The hands man stood there as more minions came out of the portal. His noticeable blue, rough hair stood out from his black hoodie covered in hands. Does this guy have a hand fetish or something?
But there were two more that followed. One was a large, black, humanoid creature wearing nothing but brown pants for censorship reasons. It had a monstrous look as its brain was very visible and had the look of a bird with its long beak and bird-like eyes, which were stuffed in its brain.
The second was visibly more human, who wore nothing but a white jacket underneath his clothing. However...something was off with him, a look that no one would pick up other than one person in the entire room.
"It's...him..." Shinjiro clenched his fists, forming a dark expression on his face. "You've got some damn nerve to show up here..."
A voice was heard from the portal. "Thirteen and Eraserhead huh? In the teacher's schedule I received the other day, it said that All Might would be here too"
"So they're the ones-" "-who broke in the other day"
Shinjiro and Aizawa stopped to look at each other, but only for a brief moment to focus their attention back on the villains.
"Where are you?" A cold voice filled the area, sending shivers down those that heard him. Don't ask me how he can be heard in a big place like the USJ. "I came all this way with a big crowd for you. All Might, the Symbol of Peace, you're not here?"
He then stopped to chuckle, it wasn't a very nice chuckle though.
"Would you come if I kill a kid?" He said, his red eyes seemed to flash for a brief moment.
As the villains were slowly converging on the students...really why are they walking so slow? The class were having panic attacks of their own.
"What the hell is going on!" Kaminari exclaimed.
"They're stupid to break into a hero school!" Kirishima said.
"Sensei! Isn't there a trespassing sensor?" Yaoyorozu asked Thirteen.
"Of course we have them..."
"Did only them appear here? Or the whole school?" Todoroki, the ice boy asked. "Either way, they must have someone who had managed to bypass the sensors. They're fools but not dumb. They planned for this to happen, at the right time."
"Thirteen, start evacuating. Call the school, we can't let them know we're calling for help," Aizawa prepared his scarf for action. "Kaminari, use your quirk to make a call"
"They don't look that tough, but watch out for the bird looking one," Shinjiro told Aizawa. "It looks like it means business"
"You should learn to look out for yourself," Aizawa said before jumping down the giant flight of stairs to face the villains.
"S- Sensei!?" Midoriya said out of shock. "I- Is he really going to fight all of them? I- I mean his skills rely on quirk erasing and capturing but-"
"Calm down Midoriya," Shinjiro said, turning to look at the boy. "A trained hero's going to take down a bunch of lackeys in an instant. You should learn to trust people more"
"Wait, did I seriously take a page out of Aizawa's book? Dammit!"
"I- I hope so," Midoriya said as the class helplessly watched on as Aizawa beat villain after villain using his scarf to spin people around like a wrecking ball and putting a lot of them out of commission.
These guys go down this fast? This is like John Wick against like a small team of robbers. Wait, I forgot the copyright...I can't lose more money…
Aizawa promptly dispatched a couple more minions before his hair and scarf fell down, indicating he had cancelled his quirk.
"Amazing," Midoriya watched. "One versus many was actually his forte"
"There's no time to analyze!" Iida shouted at him. "We need to move now!"
"Let's go," Shinjiro told Midoriya before starting to move with the class.
"H- Hai!"
However, the class wasn't even halfway to the exit before purple mist appeared and blocked their path.
"I won't let you," The voice from the fog spoke.
Everyone was in shock to see the villain appear in front of them.
"Nice to meet you all," The mist began to speak. "We are the league of Villains. We've humbly let ourselves into U.A High School, the nest for heroes. As such we apologize for the sudden intrusion."
"You don't see that every day, a nice villain for a change," Shinjiro said to himself. Wait is this another copied scene from- (incomprehensible noises)
"We are here to make sure that All Might, the symbol of peace, takes his last breath"
"His...last breath?" Midoriya and many others recoiled in fear upon hearing that statement.
"I believe that All Might should have been here today, has there been a change? Well, besides that issue...this is what I've come for," The mist slowly started spreadly.
However, thanks to a bunch of hardheads they charged straight at him. Bakugo and Kirishima unleashed their attacks upon the fog. Come on guys? You can't attack air.
"Did you think we wouldn't destroy you first?" Kirishima said, his arms formed into sharp knives.
"Dangerous..." The voice spoke again, reforming itself even more with a pair of yellow eyes staring back. "Yes...even though you're students, you're gifted golden eggs"
"No! You two, move away!" Thirteen readied her quirk.
"The reason I came here is to scatter you and make this your last day here!" The mist was blasted straight at the students, engulfing them in darkness.
Iida jumped into action and saved a couple of them while others hid underneath a muscular boy with multiple arms. However, that wasn't enough as soon everyone in that mist was slowly engulfed and all that was left….darkness.
Midoriya opened his eyes to him free falling into a body of water. He shielded himself before hitting the water.
"Ahhh!"
With a splash, he opened his eyes to see himself underwater. The body was pretty deep so he had to keep himself afloat. But he wasn't worried about that.
"A warp? So that's his quirk!" He started swimming towards the surface. "Killing All Might? What in the world is going on?!"
However, he caught the sight of a shark person coming straight at him. He gasped as it came straight at him. He wouldn't be able to dodge at the speed the shark was going so he got ready to block as the shark swam at him with his jaw wide open.
"No grudges but...goodbye!" The shark said in a gurgly voice.
But, out of nowhere John Ce- Tsuyu rammed into the shark's side using her feet. She was holding Mineta as well, you know the grape looking pervert?
"Midoriya-chan!" Tsuyu extended her tongue straight at Midoriya and it safely wrapped around him. She kicked off the shark before pulling Midoriya along for the ride as they got to the surface.
When they got to the surface, there was a convenient boat for Tsuyu to swing her tongue and gently place Midoriya onto it before climbing aboard herself.
Mineta however…
"Ow!" He yelled as he was slammed onto the boat deck. That's what you get for being a pervert, you pervert. But, I have seen worse from others.
"Thank you, Asui-san," Midoriya said as she got into the boat.
"Call me Tsu, kero"
"This is a pretty bad situation," Midoriya said with a hand on his chin. "We've all been separated, separated from the school and each other. Plus that villain said they knew the schedule. The press getting in that day must have been a distraction set by them to gain information. Just as Todoroki as said, they've been planning for this"
"But...but there's no way they can kill All Might. All Might can easily shred them to pieces," Mineta said...wait why does he sound like a girl?
"But, Mineta, don't you think they're going this far because they can kill him?" Tsu said.
"Wait...the bird looking guy means business..." Midoriya recalled Shinjiro saying.
Meanwhile, Tsu was giving Mineta a heart attack with the amount of things that could happen before All Might comes. But suddenly, Tsu noticed ripples of water coming their way.
"Ahhhhh! We're surrounded!" Mineta cried out in panic as villains swarmed the boat.
There were about a dozen of aquatic villains in the water, circling the boat like a bunch of sharks waiting for their prey.
"There's a lot of them kero," Tsu said worriedly.
"They have a plan to kill All Might but why? Because he's a deterrent to all villains? Because he's the symbol of peace? No… more like..." Midoriya recalled what All Might had said to him a long time ago.
"You can become a hero! I like that about you, you know! Congratulations!"
"I don't need to know the reason….I don't care about it!"
"There's no need to worry because...I am Here!"
"If they have a plan to kill All Might, then what we need to do now is put a stop to their plans! We will fight and win!" Midoriya said with a look of determination on his face.
Tsu looked at him with a look of satisfaction but Mineta just looked at him with a jaw drop.
"Are you freaking kidding!" Mineta screamed out.
Rain.
It feels nostalgic doesn't it? The damp wetness in the air, rain droplets hitting your skin. Doesn't it feel wonderful?
Shinjiro opened his eyes to that same sight, with the rain pouring down on him. It brought him back to that day, the day that everything changed.
He checked himself to make sure it wasn't all a dream again. He hadn't been getting any more nightmares since the last one. He's been getting good sleep up until now, but...why does it feel...empty?
"Look out!" A voice snapped Shinjiro out of his trance to see a villain coming down on him with a giant hammer.
"I gotchu boi!" Dark Shadow smacked the villain away before he had the chance to hit Shinjiro.
"Dark Shadow! Tokoyami!" Shinjiro called out as the bird ran beside him.
"So you've been transported here too huh?" Tokoyami said.
"There's more?"
Tokoyami nodded his head and gestured to a pile of floating gloves.
"Toru...Hagakure right?" Shinjiro noticed the invisible girl immediately.
"Y- y- yes..." She shivered. The cold hit her hard since it was raining and she was...y'know naked.
Shinjiro sighed. "Looks like they spread us thin here. Thanks for the assist by the way"
"It is nothing but I do believe there are more villains converging on our location," Tokoyami formed a serious expression.
"Yea! More villains for us to beat!" Dark Shadow cheered.
"Oi, Hagakure"
"H- Huh?" Hagakure said as a trench coat was thrown at her.
"Don't catch a cold. You can't become a hero if you easily catch illnesses," Shinjiro said. Even though it wasn't visible, there was a slight blush on Hagakure's invisible face.
"Woahhh what. Is. That?!" Dark Shadow exclaimed.
"Let's just say..."
A villain was about to interrupt Shinjiro with a punch but the boy easily caught it, the villain screaming in pain due to the punch connecting with the metal. Shinjiro then kicked him causing him to fly a couple of feet away. A blue light pierced through the blurs of water pouring down. The metallic suit glistened in the rain as Shinjiro swiped his wet hair away.
"It's my hero costume"
A pair of ears and eyes extended to the sky, turning in all directions. It's kind of creepy I won't lie.
"Shoji, is everyone here? Are they okay?" Iida asked the tall muscular boy who was extending his extra limbs everywhere.
"They're all scattered but they're here," The boy replied, causing everyone who was still at the exit area to sigh in relief.
But nothing was over yet as they still had to deal with the floating teleporting mist guy.
"This really is the worst quirk. We can't damage him and he can warp us," Sero said.
"Class president," Thirteen turned to Iida, not moving her eyes from the living portal.
"Yes?"
"I'm assigning you to run to the school and tell them about our situation. The alarms don't work and the phones are disconnected. The alarm is an infrared type. Even though Eraserhead's been erasing quirks, the alarms aren't turning back on. This means whoever's disabling them is hiding somewhere. It'd be faster for you to run rather than searching!"
"But, as the class rep I can't afford to leave my classmates behind-" Iida's protest was cut off.
"Go Exit Boy!" Sato said, walking in front of him, holding his hands up ready to fight. "There are alarms outside. Isn't that why they're all staying inside?"
Sero walked forward, readying his tape elbows. "They won't follow you outside. Blow that fog away with your legs!"
"We'll cover you. We're counting on you to save us," Thirteen opened up a finger on her glove revealing nothing but emptiness.
Iida had a conflicted look on his face but was quickly assured when Uraraka put her hand on his shoulder.
"We'll make sure to assist you the best we can," She said. Mina followed suit with rapid nods of her head.
Iida nodded, readying his leg engines with them popping out from his armor. He got in a runner's stance, powering up slowly.
"Although you had no choice. Making a plan in front of the enemy is foolish!" The fog said before shooting out more of his mist at the class.
"That's because we don't mind you knowing!" Thirteen raised her finger as she activated her quirk, sucking in the mist and narrowing it's spread throughout the area. As soon as she did that, Iida took off at the speed of...however fast he could go.
"How will you fight them IDIOT?!" Mineta screamed at Midoriya who was coming up with a stupid idea. "They said they would kill All Might! Shouldn't we just wait around here and wait for people to save us?"
The scared child was screaming with comedic tears coming out of his eyes. Honestly, he could rival Midoriya in waterfalling tears.
"Mineta, those villains down there are expecting a fight in water right?" Midoriya said, looking at the aquatic villians with a hand to his chin.
"Don't ignore me!"
"Does this mean they chose their members with this facility in mind?" Tsuyu asked.
"Right, they knew what was happening and planned it carefully yet something seems off. They sent Asui- *ahem* Tsu to the water zone"
"And what about it?" Mineta whined.
"So what I mean is, the villains must not know about our quirks," Midoriya concluded.
"Kero. That's true, if they knew I was a frog then they would have sent me to the fire zone," Tsu said.
"Because they don't know our quirks...they planned to split us up and defeat us with numbers. For a couple of newbies like us, there's only one way to win! It's to keep our quirks unknown. Plus they're not climbing the boat which backs my theory"
"But, they're not taking us so lightly as well," Midoriya thought. "We'll need to be real careful with our next move"
"While we're here, let me explain my quirk to you so that maybe it can help us get out of here," Tsu said. "My quirk makes me a frog so I can jump high, stick and climb walls, and stretch my tongue twenty meters max"
"Twenty meters? That's amazing!" Midoriya thought.
"I can also spit out my stomach and wash it. Plus I can secrete a toxic mucus that stings a little"
"Urk!" Probably shouldn't have said that last part, now Midoriya feels like throwing up.
"Secrete…." Mineta thought with a drool. Hoo boy.
"It's as I thought. Your quirk is strong," Midoriya said.
Mineta took a piece of his hair out and stuck it to the boat. "My quirk is called Super Sticky. These balls can stick for a long time on a good day, plus they grow back when I take them out of my hair."
The music stopped as Tsu and Midoriya stared at him. Wait, we had music? Since when?
Mineta began to tear up. "That's why I told you! We should just wait for help! My quirk isn't useful at all!" Mineta cried with even more tears coming out his eyes this time. If Mineta and Midoriya cried at the same time, they could flood the entire world.
"N- No! I- It's okay! I - I was just thinking of a way to use it-" A giant hand of water came swinging down on the boat, immediately slicing it clean in half. Midoriya lost his footing as he began to tumble.
"They're just slow! Let's hurry up and get this show on the road!" One villain said, retracting his water hand.
"What power. The ship broke instantly," Tsu said.
Mineta, being the idiot that he is, ran up and started chucking his balls into the sea below as Midoriya watched in horror.
"Mineta calm down!" He yelled as he grabbed and pulled the boy away from the edge.
"Dammit! Now they know-" He looked over the edge to see the villains being very cautious around the balls, using the water to push the mysterious object away from them. "They...aren't touching it?"
It was then he realized something. However, the violent rocking of the sinking ship wasn't exactly helping him collect his thoughts.
"The boat will sink in less than a minute," The shark villain from before said. "If they fall in the water, it'll be smooth sailing from there"
Mineta was busy panicking and Tsuyu was surprisingly calm.
"The moment the enemies are sure of their victory," Midoriya stated. "Will be our chance. That's what All Might said in a TV program a while back"
"What?" Mineta gloomily said, having given up all hope.
"This is our only way of winning..." Midoriya bawled his fists up and turned to Tsuyuand Mineta. "I trust that you'll know what to do"
"B- But! Aren't you scared too?!" Mineta asked.
Midoriya's shaky breath calmed before giving them a nervous smile, but a smile nonetheless.
"Of course I am," Midoriya climbed up on the edge of the boat and let out a war cry, just like Bakugo does, before jumping straight into the water below. Mineta's eyes were practically popping out of their sockets.
"Die!" Midoriya yelled, mimicking Bakugo once again.
"I knew it, they're just kids," A villain said, getting ready to kill.
As he fell, Midoriya readied his arms to explode. "Even a full Smash can't beat them all and there are more enemies outside this zone. I can't afford to waste an arm now!"
Midoriya had calmed himself before jumping off the boat allowing him to be steady with his attack. One For All surged through his hand, focusing onto his finger.
"Delaware...SMASH!" Midoriya flicked his finger, causing an immense power of wind to rip through the air. The power was so powerful that Midoriya got flung back by its force.
Once the Smash had impacted the water, it quickly ripped through it all leaving a gaping hole in the lake. But, as water works, it begins to fill up the hole while slowly dragging the villains along with it.
"What the hell!"
"Hurry! Swim!"
"It's pulling me innnnnn!"
"Tsu! Mineta!" Midoriya called out. Instantly, the frog girl leaped off the boat with Mineta in tow. She used her tongue to wrap around Midoriya and bring him along for the ride.
Mineta felt a sense of anger befall him.
"Damn you Midoriya...acting so cool..." He grabbed some balls off his head and began throwing them at the villains.
"AGHH! Dammit! I can be cool too!" He yelled out, not caring for his own hair safety. The chunks landed in the water and soon found themselves stuck to some of the villains.
"What the-" "Hey! Watch where you're going!" "I'm stuck! It's that kid's quirk!" The villains cried out as they all got stuck together and sucked into the whirlpool.
Midoriya was pretty hurt and exhausted after performing his attack but was able to put on a smile as he watched on. The whirlpool eventually turned into a spout and blasted the clumped villains away like Team Rocket.
Tsu looked back. "I guess we cleared the first hurdle"
"I knew I could trust you guys. You...two are really amazing!" Midoriya happily said.
"Ahhhhh!" Kaminari yelled as he dodged an attack sent by a villain. He ducked and rolled all the way to his classmates. "Seriously! I think I just saw heaven!"
Yaoyorozu knocked a couple of guys away with a staff she made. Kyoka Jiro, the headphone girl, plugged her earphone jacks into her boots and made soundwaves that basically shattered the enemies' eardrums.
"We need to find a way out of here," The purple haired girl said as she held up a sword Yaoyorozu had given her.
"Then, give me a weapon too!" Kaminari said.
"You're an electric guy so do something with it!"
"Oi! Didn't you see during the battle trial? I can only cover myself with it, not shoot it!" Kaminari ducked as another attack came his way.
"Then do something!" Jiro yelled as she kicked away the villain who had attacked Kaminari.
"If I do, then I'll just hurt you two as well! Listen, you two," He gave them a quick thumbs up. "I'm utterly useless right now so I'll leave it up to you!"
"Aren't you a man?" Jiro sweatdropped, blocking another attack from a villian. She suddenly had an idea before grabbing Kaminari and shoving him straight at the villian, shocking him.
"Hey! What the hell?" He yelled out as the villain dropped to the floor.
"You're a human stun gun now!" She yelled out.
"You two! Take this seriously!" Yaoyorozu said before launching a couple of nets at the villains who have somehow formed an electricity line after being near Kaminari's shock radius.
"Sorry, I thought it would be a good idea," Jiro said before blasting away more of them using her sound waves.
"It's ready," Yaoyorozu said as a giant sheet emerged from her back and covered the two. "Kaminari! Now!"
The boy stopped shocking as he prepared himself. "I see! Yosh! Now, I can really go all out!" He raised his hands and it filled with electricity for letting out a roar and covering the entire zone with a sheet of electricity. It shocked everyone and everything in the vicinity.
The smoke cleared eventually, revealing tons of shocked villains with steam coming out from them before they eventually passed out.
The girls emerged from the giant sheet, looking at the aftermath. They both sighed in relief, the battle was over for now.
"We need to regroup with our classmates," Yaoyorozu said. "I'm worried for them. If the villains here gave us this much trouble...I can't imagine what the others have to go through"
"Right. We need to move no- Kaminari don't look!" Jiro used her body to cover up Yaoyorozu's...exposed parts from creating that giant electric-proof sheet.
"Yey..." Welp...looks like Kaminari's out of commission for a while. Too much electricity makes him dumb.
A villain hit the ground with a thump as the rain came down hard with no sign of stopping. Shinjiro and Tokoyami were dispatching the lackeys with ease but there seemed to be no end to them.
"There's too many of them!" Tokoyami said. "We should fall back!"
"No," Shinjiro said. "I got a plan"
He dashed forward kicking a villain in the chest before grabbing his weapon. It was a plain machete but it seemed to be more than enough for Shinjiro. He threw it up in the air before yelling to Tokoyami.
"Dark Shadow, slam it into the ground!"
"You got it, partner!" Dark Shadow said before stretching out to grab the machete and imbued it with dark energy. He then proceeded to thrust it straight into the ground causing a giant shockwave of dark energy to blast away all the remaining villains. The blast was so powerful it had temporarily stopped the rain from falling, before continuing like nothing ever happened.
"You guys did it!" Hagakure excitedly shouted, pumping her gloves in the air. "A...Achoo!"
"It's not over yet," Tokoyami said. "We still have to get out of here and who knows how many villains are waiting for us outside"
"Aww, come on partner don't ruin it for her," Dark Shadow said pointing to a gloomy Hagakure.
"Shinjiro, let's go,"
"Ignoring me again!?"
Shinjiro stared off into the rainy fog for a brief while before turning his head to look at the three.
"You guys go on ahead without me," He said.
"Eh? But isn't it too dangerous?" Hagakure waved her hands around.
Shinjiro smiled. "You should take care of yourself before worrying other people. Plus don't worry, I won't be long. I just to see if there are any lurkers around, then I'll join up with you"
"If you wish Shinjiro," Tokoyami replied.
"Partner?!" Dark Shadow said in shock.
"Don't worry, Dark Shadow. If what he says is true then… I trust him," The bird boy said before turning away. "Come Hagakure, we should get out of here"
Hagakure looked a bit reluctant on following the bird duo but on looking back at Shinjiro he just gave her a reassuring smile.
"You have a beautiful smile you know," Shinjiro told her, leaving her in shock. "I'll be back before you know it"
He turned away and walked deeper into the zone while Hagakure ran to catch up with Tokoyami, not keeping her sights away from the fading Shinjiro.
Suddenly, there was silence. Only the cold hard rain banging off the buildings and the pavement. The pitter patter of footsteps resonated with the sound of the rain landing on Shinjiro's suit, the blue light acting as his only guide through the fog. It kept up like this for a while but eventually...it all stopped.
Shinjiro widened his eyes at what stood in front of him.
Bodies. Littered bodies around the area.
He stood there processing the sight, a least a dozen bodies of the villains they had fought earlier were now on the ground motionless. He walked up to and bent down to the nearest body to feel a pulse. Nothing.
"No way...he's...dead?" Shinjiro wondered. "But the blast Dark Shadow made wasn't supposed to kill them. Then...what did?"
"Fly"
*WHOOSH*
Something ripped through the air, leaving a trail of blood going down Shinjiro's cheek. He instinctively kicked into defensive mode, shielding himself with his arms. He waited for another attack to come but…
"How nice of you to join me..."
His eyes widened at the voice, causing Shinjiro to lift his arms down to see the man with the white jacket standing in front of him. The man had his hands in his pocket as something whizzed past Shinjiro before resting at the man's side. He took one hand out of his pocket to grab the strange floating device.
Despite having shades on, anyone could tell he was staring right into Shinjiro's soul.
"Shinjiro...Toujou..."
I- It seems we are having some turbulence due to these events. Don't worry everyone it will all be okay-
But...you see...it won't. The turbulence on an aircraft is the best part and I'll make sure you all stay in it.
