Oh, shit we're back. YO MINNA-SAN WELCOME BACK TO THE STORY WHERE IT TOOK ME TWO MONTHS TO PUMP THIS THING OUT OF MY BODY. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
I don't think it should come as a surprise anymore when I take a really long time to update because I've got no schedule so fuck me. I would have the mental capacity to finish the chapters earlier but honestly? I hate the tournament arc, yea that's right. I despise it because it's a bunch of useless filler before we get to STAIN BRO. I WANT TO WRITE THE STAIN ARC SO BAD. But, of course, I can't just skip the entire arc and have it off-screen. Cause then you'd all come for my ass and Todoroki won't get his development soooooo-
Here we go lads.
Hm? We're back so soon? I thought I'd have a break or someth- Oh, so we're still going…oh boy.
Anyways where were we? Oh right yes the race. I thought the race was supposed to be finished last chapter? Time constraints? Fair enough, ahem….
"Targets," One of the robots said in a robotic voice. "Lots of them!"
Midoriya stopped dead in his tracks as did the other contestants as they approached the robots.
"It's the robots again…" He said nervously as a sweat bead rolled down his head.
"It's the sudden appearance of the obstacles! Now to begin with the first barrier!" President Mic shouted. "Robo Inferno!"
Todoroki looked up to see the tall robots, armed with rockets, looming down at him and getting ready to attack. Kaminari, who had caught up with the rest of the group, started yelling.
"N- No way, aren't those the zero-point robots from the entrance exam?!" He pointed.
"The hero course fought this? No way!"
"There's too many of them!" The extras cried out in fear.
Then a sudden surge of ice came gushing through, freezing one of the robots entirely. Midoriya saw Todoroki quickly running through its legs and decided to try and follow him however, the ice started to break and loosen causing the robot to fall forward.
Midoriya stared up in horror as the robot came crashing down. "This is bad, I need to move!"
He was about to jump to the side but his collar was grabbed by someone behind him and dragged backward just as the robot collided with the floor. Midoriya fell on his butt as he groaned in pain.
"Yare yare, always in trouble whenever I find you huh?"
"Shinjiro-san!" Midoriya smiled.
"Hey, focus on the race," Shinjiro said before pulling out one of his circular devices and threw it at one of the nearby robots about to beat up a couple of students. As soon as it connected, it released a surge of electricity which completely immobilized the robot. The terrified students were confused at what had happened but quickly continued on with the race.
"Not even a thank you?" Shinjiro sighed. "Kids these days huh Mido-"
He looked to his side to see the boy missing. He looked up to see Midoriya trying to catch up to the other competitors in the race.
He facepalmed. "Literally only me huh?"
A smaller robot snuck up behind him, poised to strike only for Shinjiro to 'dissapear' and appear right behind it. He grabbed its head and smashed it into the ground, effectively destroying it.
"Welp, guess we gotta keep going"
"Since I can't use One For All, I guess dodging is all I can do!" Midoriya thought as he ducked under a robot's swinging arm. He then spotted a broken piece of a robot, giving him an idea.
He slid underneath another attacking robot and grabbed the piece of metal. The robot behind him went in for another swing but Midoriya used the momentum of the swinging arm and the metal piece to cleanly cut off the robot's arm. As he continued charging forward, he saw a couple of robots being brought down by Yaoyorozu's cannon barrage, and a couple of his other classmates using their quirks on it.
"Oho? It seems the first barrier was far too easy!" President Mic shouted.
A quick camera zoom out showed a bunch of students getting past the robots and making it over to the second obstacle.
"But what about the second?"
"Wh- What the-" Ashido uttered in disbelief as she, as well as the others, saw the next obstacle.
"If you fall you're out! If you don't want that, you must crawl," President Mic introduced. "It's the Fall!"
"That's the best you can do?" Shinjiro sweatdropped as he just reached the area. Apparently winning to him wasn't top of the priority list.
"Now watch me and my cute baby!" Someone screamed.
Shinjiro looked to where the noise was coming from and saw a pink haired girl leaping across the giant obstacle using a zipline coming from her waist and a pair of boots that propelled her into the air.
"So we could use our gadgets…interesting…" Shinjiro thought, having wonderful ideas come to his head. He slammed his fist down into his palm. "Alright, let's do this!"
And just like that, he got into his runner stance once again. Somehow the plot made it so that no one was standing in his way when he was getting ready to jump because why not.
Now it's time for Shinjiro to pull off the jump in real time!
Aaaaand he's off!
Gaining speed as he gets closer to the edge, the spectators can hardly believe this man is about to do something as crazy as this!
Shinjiro jumps! Soaring through the air like a majestic donkey.
Does he stick the landing? Does he? Does he?
I mean, yeah, he does. Nothing too spectacular when we've built this moment up by watching him jump over crowds within the span of one day.
Anyways moving on because I definitely do not want to continue talking about a pitfall as an obstacle. Oh, Midoriya? Don't worry, he'll make it across eventually, he just needs to crawl across the ropes that tie each section and he'll be on the other side in no time.
Meanwhile, up ahead, Todoroki was blazing through the obstacle course until he passed some giant signs that said "Danger Mines!" with a giant skull overlapping the words. The field was covered in dirt with darkened spots scattered throughout.
"It seems someone has reached the final obstacle!" President Mic commented. "I wonder what it could be….It's a minefield! The mines are placed so that they can be found if you look carefully"
"Remember, these mines are meant to be used in competitions so they're not that powerful, but the sound and sight of them will be flashy so don't wet your pants!" The Mic warned.
That's when the carnage began, mines started exploding and a lot of the competitors got instantly blown up and thrown out of the arena. The mines exploded in a pink cloud which blinded most of the people trying to get through the minefield and in turn, stepping on a landmine themselves.
"So this is a disadvantage for the one in the lead," Todoroki thought. However, his thoughts were cut off when he heard the sounds of explosions getting closer to him. He turned around to see Bakugo flying straight at him.
"This is nothing to me!" He yelled, flying past Todoroki and giving him a glare. "You were declaring war on the wrong person"
He thrusted his arm towards Todoroki and let off an explosion forcing the boy to jump backwards. Then the two started wrestling among each other to knock each other out and win the race.
Back at the beginning of the obstacle saw a wild Midoriya digging up one of the land mines hidden in the dirt with the robot piece he had collected long ago.
"Yo, what are you doing?" A voice came from behind him.
He momentarily stopped digging to turn his head to see who was talking to him. "Oh, Shinjiro-san…weren't you up ahead moments ago?" He asked before continuing to dig.
"You know me… even though I'm miles ahead, I just can't seem to stop and smell the roses," Shinjiro sheepishly said.
Midoriya sighed. "Of course you helped people. That's just like you Shinjiro-san"
"Of course and it's just like you Midoriya. You have it all planned out huh?"
"I wish I said I have…" Midoriya looked up to see almost every single contestant out on the minefield, battling it out with each other.
Shinjiro stretched, letting out a sigh. "I think you should get going now."
Midoriya nodded as he stared at what he had done. A bunch of mines grouped up in a singular spot. Hoping for the best, he started to lift the metal piece he was holding. Due to his tiny stature, he struggled to lift the piece above his head with sweat dripping down his head. He got ready to smash it into the pile of not-so-dangerous mines…well until-
"Oh wait hold up," Shinjiro interrupted by grabbing the piece out of Midoriya's hands like a piece of candy getting taken away from a baby. "Need to do this real quick"
In a flash, Shinjiro had lifted the piece above his head and slammed it into the ground causing a massive shockwave to rumble throughout the area. It's safe to say everyone was affected by the shockwave, some stumbled into mines and others lost their footing.
"Wh- What in smoking baloneys was that?" President Mic exclaimed.
"It seems someone has caused a shockwave to cause all the other contestants to lose their footing," Aizawa replied before narrowing his eyes. "I think I know who it is…"
"Really? Please tell me!"
Shinjiro handed Midoriya back the metal piece.
"Alright, the stage's all set for you," He shot the boy a smile. "Go get em"
"Th-Thanks but shouldn't you worry about yourself?" Midoriya slowly took the piece while shaking his head from the effects of the shockwave.
"Don't worry, I have a secret technique no one else knows," Shinjiro put up a finger.
"NIGERUNDAYO!"
And off he went into the sunlight.
Midoriya stared in disbelief at what he just witnessed. "Did he get stronger? I swear he wasn't like this before…could it be the training? W- Wait! I don't have time to think about this now!"
He stared down at the mines next to him and prepared himself. Once again, he lifted the metal piece and began strapping the ropes to himself, but it seemed to be much lighter than before. He shook off that feeling and began to focus on how he was going to pull off his strategy.
After all, these were still mines and one wrong move could potentially end Midoriya's run…or his life. He gripped the straps of the shield and took a deep breath.
"Here we go…I can do this!" Midoriya began to run and the mines.
"Super Blast Rush Turbo!" He yelled before jumping freely into the pile of explosives. The sheer impact caused a giant explosion of pink dust, startling the competitors who had turned around to see the cloud of pink.
"It's Class 1-A's Midoriya soaring through the air and nearing first place!" President Mic shouted.
Great, he's a bird now. Soaring through the air like a majestic eagle, Midoriya quickly catapulted up the ranks and was about to reach Todoroki and Bakugo, that was, until he realized-
"I don't know how to land!" He panicked.
"Deku! I won't let you pass me!" Bakugo shouted as he boosted himself forward.
Todoroki stayed quiet as he stomped his foot on the ground, forming ice over the dirt area allowing him to run freely. Both were determined to come first. They sprinted forward and it was then neck and neck with a flying neck too. However, I think you remember what happens in the end.
"If I can't get past them…then I can't let them pass me!" Midoriya thought as he managed to plant both his feet on the other two and swung the metal piece downwards. The moment a loud thud was heard, there was a split second of silence before another explosion rumbled through the race track.
Bakugo and Todoroki were pushed away from the explosion and stumbled. Midoriya, however, was launched forward in typical anime style. After doing a few somersaults, Midoriya managed to land and keep his momentum, allowing him to continue on with the race in first place.
"Holy crap! Midoriya from Class 1-A with a stunning play up into first place and instantly clearing the landmines," President Mic shouted. "Eraser Head, what are you teaching these kids?!"
"I'm not teaching them anything," Aizawa calmly stated. "They're igniting each other one their own"
As an unknown being ran through the final tunnel to the finish line, the light seemed to get brighter and brighter.
"The UA sports festival first stage-"
"Are you ignoring me?"
"-who could've predicted this outcome, or this ending from the start of the race?" President Mic started to wildly shout.
"The first person to cross the finish line is!"
Oh damn, the suspense is killing me. Who is it? Who is it?
"Midoriya Izuku!"
As everyone expected, Midoriya was the first to cross the finish line. The crowd went wild, shouting louder than an entire army of soldiers.
"Izukuuuuuuuuuu!" His mother cried tears of joy after seeing her son cross the finish line.
Midoriya clenched his fists and tried to hold back his emotions, but clearly that wasn't working as tears started streaming down his face. He glanced up at the crowd, specifically Toshinori who clapped and flashed the boy a grin.
"Oh hey, looks like I made it," A voice came from behind Midoriya. He turned around to see Shinjiro dusting himself off before he stared at the boy. "Why're you looking at me like that?"
"I- I thought you were-" Midoriya sniffed as he wiped away his tears.
"Behind?" Shinjiro scoffed. "Yea, after your reckless stunt…again, I had to up my game a little"
A thought bubble appeared above Shinjiro's head, showing him running faster than everyone else who were preoccupied with the flying Midoriya.
"As expected, everyone stopped and stared at you…or were thrown off balance by my little earthquake. Either way, that caused enough of a commotion for me to slip by," He explained. He was "running" so fast that the cameras managed to take a picture of him crossing the finish line and…we all know what face he made.
"Sasuga Shinjiro-san"
"Please don't say that…" Shinjiro deadpanned.
Outside the stadium, Kamui and his friend Death Arms had watched the race.
"Hey…isn't that kid-" Death Arms started.
"It's the kid from a year ago. Who would've thought he made it this far" Kamui said.
The screen then flashed through the other contestants who had crossed the finish line.
"Ah!" Kamui exclaimed when he saw the picture of Shinjiro crossing the finish line. "That's the kid I was telling you about Death Arms!"
"Hm? Him? Well, I won't lie but he looks kind of plain," His friend replied.
"Even so, he jumped over that obstacle like it was nothing and when he effortlessly picked up that piece of metal and smashed it into the ground. Not only that…but he stopped to help the other contestants at the start"
"Haha! I guess this year's showing a lot of promise huh?"
Soon after, all the remaining contestants crossed the finish line.
Midoriya spotted Uraraka coming out of the tunnel and heading straight towards him.
"Deku! *Pant* You were amazing," She stopped in front of him and pumped his fists. "First place is amazing, I'm so jealous!"
Elsewhere, Iida was sulking because he fell behind despite his quirk's ability.
"E- Eh?! N- No…" Midoriya immediately hugged himself out of embarrassment. "I was just lucky…"
He thought about how everything that he did ultimately came down to luck and that he just barely got on its side.
A few more Class 1-A students came running out the tunnel visibly exhausted.
"I can't believe I fell behind…" Yaoyorozu panted.
"Hehe! I killed two birds with one stone!" A voice came from her back. It was Mineta who had latched on to her to…kill two birds with one stone.
While everyone was catching up to one another, Shinjiro simply went out of sight once more and into a corner of the stadium. He was peacefully waiting for everyone to finish crossing that was… until he saw a flash of purple cross his eyes. He instinctively perked up and scanned around the area, searching for that glimpse of the dark moonlight he had recognized so.
He swore his eyes were playing tricks on him, he didn't see any purple hair in the crowd aside from Jiro's of course. He decided to give it one last scan before concluding it was his own brain. It was then he heard that voice…it sounded so…nostalgic
"What are you trying to say, Yuko?!"
Shinjiro's eyes widened in response to the voice. He looked down and formed a small smile on his face.
"So she made it here too…of course, she would. She's Mahiru after all," He thought. After so long, which was not that long at all, Mahiru was in U.A which was pretty much going to happen since her quirk is- (redacted)
He decided not to approach her, after all, this is a story where stupid decisions will be made.
"Hey, do you see how happy she is? I've got a screwed up life as it is. I don't know what will happen if I rope more people into it, especially with him watching…"
Yea, that's enough of that since it's time-
"The first game of the first year stage is finally complete!" Midnight announced. "Now let's announce the results!"
Oh yay, the results are being posted on the scoreboard. It showed Midoriya, Todoroki, and Bakugo in their respective places and surprisingly Shinjiro came in fourth. I don't know why he decided to take this race seriously seeming as how he wanted out from the start-
"Shut up man, it's not my fault they just stood there as I walked right past them"
Either way, he came fourth and there's nothing that can change that. After that, the rest of the standings were shown all the way up to the forty-sixth competitor. We don't really want to cover the rest of them so moving on…
"Thanks to the massive influx of this year's students we've decided to raise the cap to forty-six!" Midnight announced with another crack of her whip. "Congrats to those who passed the preliminary and to those who didn't, don't worry. You have your own chance to shine"
"Now the real game begins! Give it your all!" She then gestured towards the screen. "The next game isssssss…this!"
Cavalry Battle
"A cavalry battle? I'm not good at these" Kaminari sulked.
"Let me explain, the participants can form a group of two to four members," Midnight stated.
The screen showed All Might being carried by President Mic and Thirteen.
"The rules are basically the same from a normal cavalry battle. However, there is one slight difference. According to the last race, each player will be granted a set amount of points depending on the place they got."
"A point system? So it's kind of like the entrance exams, huh? That's easy to understand," Sato thought out loud.
"In other words, each team is worth different points," Uraraka said.
"I see!" Ashido exclaimed with pointing finger guns at Uraraka.
They were interrupted by a loud crack of Midnight's whip. "You guys were saying what I was about to say! *Ahem* That's right, the point system goes up by five starting from the bottom. Forty-sixth gets 5 and forty-fifth gets 10 and so on. And the first place point worth is-"
Midoriya's eyes glanced up at the screen to see how much first place was worth. It was then when Midnight shouted:
"Ten Million!"
Everyone froze, having to do a double take on what she had just said. Meanwhile, Midoriya lost all of his color even the screen went white.
"T- Ten…Million…" He thought nervously. Although, his voice seemed to say otherwise:
"Shit." His voice was pretty soft so luckily no one heard it.
"Oh? Ten million?" Shinso grinned from afar.
From then on, almost everyone simultaneously had the same thought.
"If you take down the first player team…you can stand at the top," Everyone who surrounded Midoriya glowed a menacing red, greed and desire triumphing over their reasoning.
"This is why I hate to be in the limelight," Shinjiro sweatdropped, feeling kind of bad for the boy.
Luckily, Midoriya did not have to endure the immense pressure he was feeling from literally every contestant in the area for that long because Midnight cracked her whip to get everyone's attention.
"Let me explain the rules if you're not familiar with the cavalry battle"
Five minutes of explaining later because the author can't be bothered to write out the rules cause he's a dumb bi-
I mean nice person. Either way, the rules are pretty simple: get headbands to win the game and even if you lose your own headband you aren't out of the game. When the time limit is up, the team with the most points wins, pretty simple right? Good, now let's-
"Plus, you can all still use your quirks however, this a cavalry battle so you will be disqualified if you use your attacks to make people fall on purpose!"
Why does everyone keep-
"You have 15 minutes to find your team! And that starts now!" Midnight announced with a crack of her whip.
Oh come on!
Anyways, it's team building time! Mostly because we gotta stretch this chapter out so that it seems more interesting and more people would read it soooooo-
"Please team up with me Bakugo!" Tons of people started to surround Bakugo in an attempt to join his team but explosion man hits them with the:
"Who are you and what do you do?"
Oof, gotta hit them with the EMOTIONAL DAMAGE.
Somehow, Kirishima managed to convince Bakugo to let the redhead join his team. But, honestly we don't care about that, we care about Midoriya and Shinjiro.
Speaking of the two, Midoriya was currently trying to recruit the teen to his team. Unfortunately, thanks to the author, Shinjiro is being a giant piece of shit right now-
"Please! Join my team!" Midoriya bowed.
"I told you, I can't join your team," Shinjiro said with his head in his hand.
"Why not?"
"Because then, I'll be doing all the work," Shinjiro explained. "Look…I know it's difficult but you really can't just keep coming to me every single time you have a problem"
"S- Since when have I done that?" Midoriya tried to counter.
"You're doing it right now…and during the USJ attack where I had to save yo ass"
"But I didn't-"
"You were hurt, you were practically asking to be saved"
"Fair point…" Midoriya hated to admit it but Shinjiro was right. In some way or another, Midoriya has been relying too much on Shinjiro, even though the story doesn't show it. Don't worry, the omakes will or some off-camera event.
"Don't feel bad if you don't have me on the team. You've got plenty of other people who'd want to be on your team…even though everyone is out for blood right now," Shinjiro said before slowly walking away to find a team he could join.
Midoriya tensed up. "Y- you're right…" He saw Shinjiro walk away before his confidence started to drop. Soon after a few more attempts at trying to get people to join up with him, he started to lose hope as a blue aura surrounded him.
"Of course people would rather snatch the ten million points than hold onto it. Plus, people have more confidence in Todoroki and Kacchan since they showed off the most…unlike me," Midoriya sulked while some sad music played in the background.
"Deku!" Someone called out to him.
"Eh?" He robotically turned his head to see Uraraka standing in front of him.
"Let's team up!" She said happily.
"Uraraka-san! I- Is it really okay?" Midoriya yelled in pure joy while his eyes started comically raining. "Everyone will be after me and my ten million points…"
"But if you run then we'll win"
Midoriya stopped crying before nervously saying: "I think you're placing too much confidence in me"
"Of course, I trust you!" Uraraka gave him a big smile. "After all, it's better to team up with friends!"
"Th- Thank you," Midoriya sniffed. "I'm so happy I could hug you"
"E- Eh?!" Uraraka blushed after hearing what the boy said.
"But now…" Midoriya put a hand on his chin, sadly ignoring Uraraka in a blushing mess. "We need to find two other teammates"
Meanwhile, Shinjiro basically gave up looking for a team because he's a lazy ass.
"I am not a lazy ass. There's not much for me to do right now anyways. If there's 46 people, then there has to be a reason to why they changed the number of competitors this year"
Yes, because with the original 42, there were a bunch of uneven teams so therefore the author decided to make everything even so that there'd be four people per team.
"And that means, I'll be bound to be scouted to join a team!"
Yes! "Yes!"
"I- I haven't even asked you yet," A voice came, closer than you think.
"Huh?" Shinjiro finally paid attention to his surroundings to notice an orange haired girl standing in front of him. "Oh…hey Kendo"
He awkwardly raised his hand to greet her. She, in return, did so too albeit less awkwardly than Shinjiro.
"S- So…you made into U.A yaaaayy…" Oh come on man, now you're just embarrassing yourself.
"Y- Yea, I did," Kendo rubbed the back of her head. "A- Anyways, that's not what we should be doing in a time like this."
"So, what should we be doing in a time like this?" Shinjiro asked.
"We should be forming teams. Which is pretty convenient when I'm looking for one more member," Kendo hinted.
"Oh? So you want me to join your team? *Clap* I'm in, let's do this," Shinjiro said enthusiastically.
"Great, follow me," Kendo led Shinjiro towards the remaining team members.
"Oho? Kendo, you found us our last team member! As expected of our big sister," A girl with long dark green hair excitedly said. She flashed a toothy grin which was especially toothy with her long, pointed teeth.
"J- Jeez, Setsuna, you don't have to say it like that," Kendo lightly blushed at the statement. She quickly dispatched the thought and cleared her throat. "Anyways, this is Shinjiro. He'll be joining us from here on out."
"Yo! Nice to meet you!" Shinjiro raised his hand and saluted.
"The name's Setsuna Tokage!" The lizard looking girl said. "No need for formalities so just call me Setsuna!"
"Sure thing Setsuna!" Shinjiro gave her a high and she gave him a five. God that sounded so cringy.
"Reiko Yanagi," A pale looking girl said from behind Shinjiro.
"Gah!" Shinjiro jumped in response. "How long have you been there?"
"Long enough," She answered simply.
"Fair answer," Shinjiro replied.
"Anyways," Kendo interrupted. "We need a plan if we're going to win"
"Oh right!" Shinjiro slammed his fist into his palm. "We do need a plan"
Everyone nearly comically tripped at the comment.
"Alright, so if we're going to do this. What's everyone's quirk? I know Kendo's with her big hands…so what about you two?" He turned towards the others.
"Ooh! Me first!" Setsuna excitedly said before detaching her hand off her body. "Mine's called: Lizard Tail Splitter. I can split up to 50 of my body parts and can control them telekinetically. Plus, I can regenerate my limbs if they get destroyed"
"Poltergeist," Reiko said. "I can telekinetically control objects. I can only lift things up to the weight of a normal person though"
Shinjiro blinked. "Right…we have two useless quirks in this cavalry battle"
"Oof, you don't have to say it out right y'know," Setsuna felt that burn.
"Honestly, the best case scenario is Yanagi-san using her quirk to levitate the headbands off. But then again, we do need to figure out our positioning for our strategy to be somewhat effective," Shinjiro thought out loud.
"Hm? What about your quirk Shinjiro?" Reiko asked.
"Me? Well, it's a basic speed and strength enhancement quirk so nothing too fancy," He replied. "That means, I think it's best for me to be the front horse and tank everything"
"If anything, I think Kendo should be the rider," Setsuna added.
"Huh? Why me?" Kendo asked.
"With your big fists, you should be able to grab the headbands faster. Plus, since you're a good leader, you should be the one to instruct us," Shinjiro said.
"O-Oh…" Kendo lightly blushed at the praise.
"5 minutes left! Hurry up!" President Mic announced.
"Alrighty, now that we have our positions," Shinjiro turned towards Kendo. "What's the plan leader?"
{5 minutes later}
"Alright ladies and gentleman, 15 minutes is officially up!" President Mic announced before turning to his side and slapping Aizawa lightly. "Hey, wake up it's time"
Aizawa just groaned in response, clearly not having any of this. He, however, slowly slipped back into his sleep without President Mic knowing.
"After fifthteen minutes of forming a team and coming up with a strategy, twelve cavalry teams are lined up and ready to duke it out! Raise those battle cries! AND LET'S GET READY TO RUMBLE-"
Aizawa's eyes snapped open and turned red causing the screaming hero to stop in the middle of his speech. "You don't have to scream so loud," He said menacingly.
President Mic sweatdropped before nodding his head. He decided to whisper into the mic: "Let's get ready to rumble~"
Down on the battlefield, Midoriya tied the ten million point headband around his head and prepared his game face. His teammates all got ready for what was to come: Tokoyami had Dark Shadow come out, while Uraraka and that mechanic girl were on the left and right sides respectively.
Midoriya then strapped on a backpack that he got from the inventor and held the switch in his hand. He looked down at his teammates.
"Uraraka-san, Hatsume-san, Tokoyami-san. Are you guys ready?"
"Of course!" The bubbly girl said.
Hatsume just giggled in response.
"Of course," Tokoyami replied.
"Me too!" Dark Shadow pumped his fists in the air.
"I'm counting on you guys!" Midoriya said with passion in his voice.
"Now, the countdown to the brutal battle royale!" President Mic shouted.
"Three!" The crowd shouted.
"We're aiming for-" Bakugo cracked his knuckles.
"Two!"
"-one thing," Todoroki finished.
"One!"
Midnight cracked her whip. "Start!"
Immediately, everyone started gunning towards the ten million points.
Oh boy, another cliffhanger? What are we going to do? End the chapter? Alright!
Hey, again. It's me. Yea, again sorry for another short chapter cause I need to get studying. I've got the ACT in less than two weeks and I need to get a better score this time round so, the next chapter will probably be out never. (Probably next month or smth idk screw the cavalry battle, I hate it can someone write it for me thanks)
