Whoo! I hope you're all happy cause I'm starting to be consistent now! Well, mainly because I want to get this tournament arc over and done with so we can get to the main two events!

Anyways, I won't keep you guys, we've got a horse battle to get to!

Sound the horns cause we're back! When we last left off, the cavalry battle has finally started and Midoriya's team is just about to be rushed with 11 very money-hungry teams. So, let's get down to the action!

"A sudden raid huh?" Tokoyami said. "The fate of the pursued"

"Fate?" Uraraka asked with a question mark above her head.

"Fate!" Dark Shadow shouted.

"Make your decision Midoriya!" The bird said.

"It's obvious," Midoriya said. "We run!"

"We won't let you!" Tetsutetsu shouted, signaling to his rider to stop them. The boy planted his feet on the ground as its terrain started to change.

In seconds, Midoriya's team was starting to sink into the ground.

"We're sinking!" Uraraka shouted in fear.

"It must be his quirk," Midoriya thought. "One For All has to be my last resort. So for now!"

"Uraraka-san, Hatsume-san! Close your eyes!" He instructed before flicking the switch he had in his hand. That caused the jetpack he was wearing to roar to life and instantly shot him and his team up into the air.

However, they couldn't get a second to breathe as Midoriya noticed two earphone jacks coming straight at them.

"Tokoyami!" He shouted.

"I got it!" Dark Shadow yelled as he intercepted the two earphone jacks coming from Jiro.

"Nice! Dark Shadow, continue to watch our blind spots," Tokoyami instructed.

"On it partner!" Dark Shadow saluted before looking vigilantly at his surroundings for any other attack on the team.

"Nice going Tokoyami-san!" Midoriya congratulated the bird boy.

"You were the one who picked me after all," He said back. "Plus, the fight isn't over"

"I'm going to land now," Uraraka said, slowly turning her quirk off to allow the team to land safely.

After landing, they started running at a constant pace so they wouldn't be sitting ducks. Hatsume,the inventor girl, looked up at Midoriya.

"What do you think Midoriya? Aren't my 'babies' cute?" She asked him with a large grin on her face.

Midoriya looked down at her and smiled. "They have great mobility. These 'babies' are great Hatsume-san!"

"Right?! Aren't they just the best?"

Meanwhile, a jealous Uraraka looked down and pouted. "It's because I'm making them float…" She muttered underneath her breath.

In the meantime, Hagakure directed her team- composed of Sato, Koda, and Jiro- towards Midoriya's.

"Keep going! We're going after them! Come on Jiro-chan, it's revenge time!" She said, waving her invisible hand in front.

"Wait, Hagakure!" Sato yelled out. "Your headband is gone!"

"Eh?! When did that happen?!" She screamed.

Meanwhile, the douche himself, Neito Monoma twirled the missing headband on his finger. "So easy…" He arrogantly said.

"Not even two minutes in and the entire battlefield is going crazy! The battle went from archenemy to an all-out duel!" President Mic shouted.

While Midoriya's team was busy trying to shave off a couple more teams that were coming their way, let us shift our attention to the other main star of the show because he needs screen time desperately.

"Why does it always seem like I'm a self-insert," It's because you are! "Oh shut up. I'll prove I'm not a self-insert"

"Hey, Kendo," Shinjiro said, getting her attention. "For the time being, let's get more points"

"Huh? What about going for Midoriya-"

"He and his team are being attacked by three other teams currently. If we were to capitalize on that, there's a chance our headband's going to get stolen instead," He explained. "We should grab another headband before we go into the death zone just in case"

"Good idea!" Setsuna interjected. "With my quirk, we should able to steal a headband off one of those teams"

"Are you sure you'll even be able to? They can see your pieces coming y'know," Shinjiro questioned.

"Ah, don't worry about it! Trust me," She gave him a toothy smile. "What do you think Kendo?"

"We'll go with it," Kendo declared. "I trust you guys"

"Alrighty then, full speed ahead!" Shinjiro shouted as he led his team towards the nearest enemy team. "Kendo!"

"Got it!"

Kendo enlarged her hands and clapped causing a shockwave to rumble through the arena. The shockwave caused the team in front of them, which comprised of a beast looking man, a guy with a ponytail and an extra from the support course, to lose their footing. While they were trying to stabilize themselves, Setsuna detached her arm and telekinetically controlled it to fly and snatch the headband right off the rider's head.

"Thanks! I'll be taking this!" The lizard girl said cheekily.

"Oi! Get back here!" The rider shouted but Setsuna had returned back to her team.

"Got the points!" She said after reattaching her limbs back together. She passed the headband over to Kendo who grabbed it off her teammate. She was about to put on the second headband until Shinjiro stopped her.

"I think it's best we don't put it in an obvious spot where they can easily grab it off," He said.

"Right," The girl nodded. "I'll wrap it around my arm instead"

Of course, now this is where we pan out the fight and try and extend the word count by even more but we shall switch over to Midoriya's team and see how they're doing.

"This is bad!" Midoriya said as he dodged another one of Mineta's balls. They were currently in between two teams, Tetsutetsu's team and Shoji's team with Mineta and Tsu using their quirks to launch long range attacks.

"Midoriya, we need to get away!" Tokoyami yelled, he couldn't handle attacks on all fronts. There was only so much Dark Shadow could do.

"Right!" Midoriya pressed the button to activate the jetpack once again. The propulsion sent them upwards but, however, Uraraka's boot was stuck to one of Mineta's balls. Still, the jetpack pushed on as it fired another strong blast to break free of the sticky ball but causing the boot to break in the process.

"Ah! My baby!" Hatsume cried in shock.

"Don't worry, we managed to get away safely," Midoriya said.

Well, that's what they think because two explosions followed suit.

"That's-" Midoriya's eyes widened as he turned and looked down.

"DEKU!" Bakugo shouted as he flew at Midoriya.

"Kacchan!" The boy yelled as suddenly, Bakugo was right in front of him.

"Don't get too excited!"

Bakugo brought his hands in front of him, ready to explode some bi- I mean, the team in front of him.

"Tokoyami!" Midoriya shouted, causing Dark Shadow to come up and block the attack.

"Tch!" Bakugo clicked his tongue, before going for another attack. This time boosting himself backwards to gain some more air and so that he'd be on top of them.

"Uraraka keep your zero gravity active!" Midoriya instructed. "Tokoyami get ready for when we fall!"

"Wait, did he say-"

"DEKU!" Bakugo shouted as he decided to perform a slam dunk but with explosions.

Midoriya brought his arm up and finger ready to be flicked. "Don't break it too much please!"

"Delaware Smash!" Midoriya flicked his finger and caused a huge amount of air to fly at Bakugo who was not anticipating the attack at all.

It caused him to be flung into the air violently before he could even get an attack off. Midoriya's team however went falling straight into the ground due to the shockwave.

"Uraraka, Tokoyami, now!" Midoriya yelled, trying to keep his team balanced from the unstable fall.

Uraraka used more of her power to try and slow their fall while Tokoyami sent Dark Shadow to the bottom to try and act as cushion for the team. The team still crashed into the ground, causing a pile of dirt and dust to fly everywhere.

Bakugo, who was still being violently thrown about in the air, was quickly reeled back by Sero's tape.

"Got you!" Kirishima said as he caught Bakugo from falling.

"Yahoo! A crazy maneuver by Midoriya sent both his team and Bakugo in opposite directions! Plus, aren't these kinds of attacks not allowed?!"

"Only if the attacks are trying to deliberately knock the person off their horse! But pushing them away from their team while the attacker is in the air or without their team is completely technical!" Midnight explained.

"Now, the question is if Midoriya's team managed to stick the landing!" President Mic said.

Out from the dust, came Midoriya's team at a slow jogging pace. This caused the crowd to rile up even more from the non-stop action.

Midoriya clutched his finger, which luckily wasn't as bad as shooting it at a 100 percent. "Thank you guys," He said, giving them a smile.

"If it wasn't for Dark Shadow and Uraraka's Zero Gravity, my attack would have completely made us lose the round," Midoriya thought as a mini thought bubble showed Zero Gravity and Dark Shadow working in tandem to slow the team down and land them safely without breaking anyone's bones.

"I shouldn't use One For All as much in this round. I can't keep losing limbs like this."

Midoriya looked down to see his teammates, especially Uraraka, getting tired. I guess that's what you get for using your quirks for too long and carrying someone to victory.

"She must be getting tired and sick from using her quirk too much," The boy thought.

"Uraraka-san," He called out to her. "Don't push yourself anymore. From this point on, we're not gonna be using the jetpack. I can't risk you getting sick"

Uraraka slightly blushed at the thought. "Th- Thanks…"

Meanwhile, Kamui was in the break room watching the cavalry battle intensely after the crazy stunt Midoriya pulled off.

"Those class A guys are really great," Death Arms said.

"Hm…" Kamui said in thought, seemingly looking for something or someone.

"Seven minutes have passed! Now, let's take a look at the standings shall we?" President Mic hit a button that revealed the scoreboard.

"What?" The crowd murmured amongst themselves upon seeing the rankings.

"Huh? Aside from Midoriya's team, class A isn't doing too hot…Huh?! Bakugo's team is on zero points?!" Mic shouted in disbelief.

"Huh?" Bakugo's eyes widened as he couldn't feel the headband on him. He looked back to see Monoma running away with the headband in his hands.

"Class A is so simple-minded," He said while twirling the headband on his finger.

"He got us!" Ashido said in shock.

"Give it back or we'll kill you!" Bakugo shouted, his pupils gone white.

Monoma scoffed. "You guys are way too predictable, especially you," He pointed at Bakugo.

"Saying you'll be the number one and going for the ten million off the bat. All of you tried to reach the top to show off, but where will that get you? My class took the smarter way by just qualifying. By staying at the back, we were observing all of your quirks and preparing ourselves for the real battle"

"They did it as a class?" Kirishima said.

"Our strategy was much better than a horse with a carrot in front of its face, taking a temporary spot on the top," Monaman motioned his team to leave before turning around again. "Oh right! You're famous aren't you? That kid who was attacked by that slide villain"

Bakugo started to emit a toxic and explosive aura around him as Monoma brought that incident up again.

"You'll have to tell me all about it sometime…number one. See ya around!" Monoma waved before his team went off on their merry way. Well, it won't be merry anytime soon.

"Kirishima"

"What's wrong Baku- EE!" Kirishima looked up to see Bakugo fully enraged.

Only the silhouette of his body could be seen as his eyes flashed a menacing red and his deathly aura around him was boosted to the max.

"Change of plans, before Deku we are going to CRUSH THEM!" His voice echoed as if he were a horror villain.

Midoriya saw Bakugo's team comically chase down Monoma's team and breathed a sigh of relief.

"Now that Kacchan's occupied, we should be free for a couple more minutes"

He felt his teammates skid to halt underneath as he almost lost his balance.

"What happened-" He looked up to see Todoroki's team right in front of him. "?!"

Todoroki was emitting a cold aura, whether that was his quirk or his natural behavior didn't matter. He was out for Midoriya, as were his teammates.

Midoriya sighed. "Of course, things were never that simple"

"Things are really heating up in the second half of this cavalry battle! Let's keep this party going!"

"He's favoring you Midoriya," Tokoyami narrowed his eyes, bringing Dark Shadow up in front of him to protect his team.

"We're past the half-way point, we need to keep moving!" Midoriya shouted as he saw from the corner of his eye, more teams coming their way.

"Iida, move forward!" Todoroki instructed.

"Got it!" Iida charged up his boosters and dashed forward, running even faster than before.

"Wait how are you moving so-" Midoriya turned around to see roller blades attached to Yaoyorozu and Kaminari so they would be able to move way faster.

"Dammit! They'll catch up to us in no time!"

"Yaoyorozu, prepare to guard us and prepare for transmission," Todoroki instructed the others. "Kaminari, you-"

"No need to tell me!" Kaminari said, surging his body with electricity.

"Be careful, there's more than one team after us!" Midoriya said.

He saw Yaoyorozu create a tarp coming out from her back and some kind of metal growing out of her arms before planting into the dirt.

His eyes widened as he realized what was about to happen.

"Dark Shadow, cover us now!"

Meanwhile, Shinjiro, who is finally getting some more screen time, seemed to notice what was going on.

"Kendo! This is bad, Kaminari's going to shock everyone!" He yelled.

"Shinjiro, stomp the ground! Reiko, use your quirk to create a wall in front of us!" Kendo instructed.

"Got it!" They both shouted.

"Take improvisation!" Shinjiro yelled as he lifted one leg and quickly stomped into the ground and caused some parts of the earth to fly. Reiko immediately used her quirk to take those pieces and form a wall in front of them.

"Indiscriminate shock-" Kaminari started as Todoroki grabbed the tarp and wrapped his team in it. "-1.3 Million volts!"

Electricity was quickly released throughout the arena.

Dark Shadow moved in front to take the hit, getting electrocuted.

"O- Oww!" He shockingly said.

Everyone else didn't feel too great after getting hit with the electricity, getting electrified in place.

Meanwhile, Kendo's team was easily protected by the improvised wall. When the electricity started to die down, they sprung into action.

"Kendo!" Shinjiro shouted.

"I know!" She said, enlarging her fists to punch the wall in front of them. Breaking into a dozen pieces and being launched at the teams in front of them.

"?!" Todoroki seemed to notice the debris flying at him for plot reasons and grabbed something with his right arm. Said right arm began to freeze the object before he threw it in front of him, making an ice barrier to shield his teammates from the debris.

"Todoroki-kun!" Yaoyorozu turned to her teammate in worry.

"Don't worry, the grenade you gave me came in handy," He said before looking at the timer. "Less than six minutes left…"

He grabbed the metal pole Yaoyorozu had made earlier and began to freeze it. Due to its connection to the ground, the ice began to spread fast and covered almost the entire arena and all the participants in the area. Soon every team had their feet iced to the ground.

"Nani?! Todoroki stopped all the cavalry all at once!"

"He froze them after Kaminari's electricity shocked them, causing them to stop moving." Aizawa said. "Only one other team was able to stop the electricity from affecting them."

"It's Kendo's team from Class B!" Mic shouted as the crowd cheered louder.

Shinjiro sweatdropped. "Did they really have to call us out?"

"No time for that, can you guys move?" Kendo asked.

"Nope! Despite countering the electricity, the ice still managed to get us!" Setsuna grumbled.

"Damn plot…" Shinjiro muttered.

Meanwhile, Todoroki's team ran past a couple of teams, snatching their headbands off their heads for a couple of extra points.

"What do we do?" Reiko asked, struggling to take her feet out of the ice.

"There is one thing…" Shinjiro said. "Kendo, you have that thing I gave you?"

"Huh?" She uttered.

"Y'know…the thing?"

"What thing? You never gave me anything," She said, dumbfounded.

"Wait, didn't I- Ohhh," The stupid protagonist realized. "It's still in my pocket, mind grabbing it for me?"

"On it!" Setsuna interjected, detaching her free hand and guided it towards Shinjiro's pocket.

"Oi, don't touch anything while you're looking for it," He quickly said.

"Hmmm, maybe I want to," The lizard girl said cheekily.

"Oho? I dare you-"

"Can you two cut it out already!" Kendo interrupted with a slight blush forming on her cheeks. "Just grab the thing, Setsuna"

"Fineee," She pouted, her hand grabbing a small spherical object out of Shinjiro's pocket and passing over to the leader up top.

"What is it?" Kendo asked while examining the strange object.

"Well, it's our only way out of here," Shinjiro explained. "All you need to do is put it on my back and it'll do the rest"

"A-Are you sure it's safe?"

"Other than the fact that it's a prototype and I've never used it before? Totally!" Shinjiro grinned.

Although, the look on Kendo's face just screamed 'this is a bad idea'.

"Don't worry, just trust me," He tried reassuring her.

Kendo nodded, although he could tell a part of her was reluctant to attach the object to his back. However, she did and the moment it latched onto Shinjiro's back, the object started to activate.

Losing its spherical form, it compressed itself into a circle and pressed into his back. A red light turned on as it began to create a quiet whirring noise. Shinjiro visibly strained himself at the magnitude of the device's power.

"I guess, this is what I get for testing out a limiter releasing device" He thought. But, wait, you might think. How on earth did he do this?

Well, it's simple…he built it. How? With the power of plot of course, and with his parents genes in his bones that caused him to somehow have intellect that reaches the technological level.

"I have two of the strongest heroes intellect dammit! Mom didn't put me through all that studying just for nothing!"

"Urk!" Shinjiro hunched over, fully feeling the effects of the limiter.

"Shinjiro!" Kendo shouted, worried for his safety. "I'm taking it out!"

"No! Don't take it out!" He yelled. "You need to let it finish!"

"Wh- what's it doing?" Setsuna asked as the device started to steam.

"I- It's just giving me a little push," Shinjiro explained. "D- Don't worry…it's not breaking any rules *cough* I'm trying to awaken the true potential of my quirk *cough*"

Too bad, that's probably still breaking some kind of rule but to the spectators and the judges, all they see is Shinjiro being exhausted.

With a battle cry, Shinjiro managed to forcefully break the hard ice surrounding his feet. Lifting his leg up once more, he slammed it down to create a shockwave that broke the ice surrounding his teammates and the subsequent area around him.

"Woah! Another shockwave coming from Shinjiro! How many times are people going to fall for that move?"

"Yosh! We can move now!" Shinjiro said, sweat trailing down his forehead as he was getting more tired. "Let's get in there!"

He dashed forward causing his teammates to be dragged along with him, not prepared to move.

"Setsuna, break your legs off! Reiko, use your quirk on yourself so you have to run!" Shinjiro said. The two nodded before doing exactly as told, allowing Shinjiro to run even faster.

"We'll need to break through that ice barrier!"

"Just keep running, I'll handle it," Kendo said, enlarging her fists once more.

On the other side, things weren't looking so good for Midoriya and his team. They were surrounded by ice and a point-hungry team standing opposite them.

"Just two minutes left…" Todoroki thought, biting his lower lip.

"We need to make a move," Tokoyami said to Midoriya.

"If we act indecisively, we risk getting our points stolen," The boy said. "We have to stay on defense-"

"LEEEEEEROY," Someone shouted from the other side of the ice, causing both teams to turn towards it. "JENKINS!"

In a second, the ice smashed open revealing Kendo's team riding straight into battle.

"Hope you guys didn't miss me too much!" Shinjiro flashed them a grin.

"Setsuna!" Kendo yelled as the lizard girl immediately detached her limbs and sent them straight at the two teams.

"Tokoyami!" "Yaoyorozu!" Both leaders yelled respectively.

Tokoyami commanded Dark Shadow to intercept the body parts that were flying at them by batting them away.

"Ew, ew. Get this stuff away from me!" It squealed.

Meanwhile, Yaoyorozu created a rifle from her stomach and passed it to Todoroki who immediately started shooting down the body parts. Luckily it was with rubber rounds because no violence allowed people.

"Ow! Hey, that hurts!" Setsuna recoiled in pain. "Even though they've detached from my body, I can still kind of feel pain y'know!"

"Shinjiro, get closer!" Kendo instructed.

"On it!" Shinjiro dashed forwards one more time, getting closer to the two teams.

"Dammit!" Todoroki cursed, there seemed to be a never ending amount of body parts flying at them. While Yaoyorozu and Kaminari were busy trying to shoot down the body parts, Iida stared ahead.

"Everyone," Iida said. "We have two minutes left. After this, I'll be useless…I'm counting on you"

"Iida…" Todoroki uttered and looked down at the boy.

Iida got into a runner stance as his leg boosters started to ramp up.

"Hold on tight! Make sure you get it, Todoroki!" He shouted, his boosters turning red and blasting out blue flames.

"Torque over Reciproburst!"

"Move-" Midoriya noticed Iida dashing at him but it was too late. He felt the band disappear from his head, and suddenly time seemed to stop moving.

Iida panted hard, his engines were steaming, seeming as though they would combust anytime soon. Everyone was shocked to see Iida's sudden burst of speed. However, it was all worth it in the end when Todoroki realized what he was holding in his hand.

"What the hell was that speed?! Iida, why did you use that earlier?" Mic shouted in disbelief.

"Iida…you…" Todoroki was slightly startled by the class representative.

"I…did it…" He panted. "You *pant* should have *pant* two headbands right?"

"Two?" Todoroki questioned before looking down at his hand clutching two headbands.

"Wait…" Kendo felt her head and discovered the headband wasn't on her head anymore. "T- They.."

Shinjiro stifled a laugh. "That's Iida for you"

"Midoriya…Shinjiro, I said one day I'd challenge you both," Iida thought. "Today is that day!"

"One minute remains! What will Team Midoriya and Team Kendo do now?" Mic announced.

"Go back!" Midoriya shouted.

"But with Kaminari there, we'll be stopped!" Tokoyami countered.

"Guys!" Kendo said.

"On it!" The cavalry rushed forward.

"We'll need to use Shinjiro's team as bait then," Midoriya said. "Hurry!"

As much as he hated using his friend as a meat shield, Midoriya had no choice if he wanted his team to make it to the finals.

"Forgive me Shinjiro-san!"

"Tch!" Todoroki clicked his tongue and grabbed one of Yaoyorozu's rods (No don't go there please) and started to spread his ice on the ground once again.

"No you don't!" Kendo shouted before enlarging her hands and smashing into the ground beside them causing rocks to fly up. "Reiko!"

Using her quirk to control the floating pile of rocks, Reiko sent one giant volley straight at Todoroki who in turn controlled his ice to freeze upward. The ice created a barrier to block the final volley of rocks before getting smashed in.

It seems as if it would be the perfect time to steal a headband but from out of nowhere, Midoriya's team appeared right in front of Todoroki.

"When did he-" Todoroki thought as Midoriya charged his arm with One For All and swung at the ice boy. On instinct, Todoroki brought up his left arm to intercept, releasing some fire from it in the process.

"Control it! Don't overdo it!" Midoriya thought as he simply batted the arm away. Due to the force of the simple flick, Todoroki was still thrown off balance. Midoriya then reached with his left hand to try and grab one of the headbands around Todoroki's neck.

"Come on! Get there!"

As soon as he grabbed the hold of one, he yanked and pulled it off Todoroki.

Believing he held the ten million points in his hand, Midoriya began to rejoice.

"I- I did it!"

"In another surprising turn of events, Midoriya's team has snatched a headband away!"

"Wait! Midoriya, check the headband to see how many points we got," Hatsume said.

Midoriya's eyes widened when he opened his palm to not see the ten million mark on the headband.

"They got us!" He turned around in desperation, wanting to mount one last push to save his team.

"Time is almost up! Start the countdown!" Mic announced.

"A free chance!" Shinjiro thought but as he was about to follow up on the attack, he froze in place.

"Hm?" Kendo noticed Shinjiro tense up and started to shake. "Shinjiro? What's wrong?"

"It looks like…this is the end of my run," Shinjiro struggled to hold himself together before dropping down to one knee, concerning the rest of his team.

"Shinjiro!" His team yelled out of concern.

"Reiko, Setsuna we need to get him to the nur-"

"Time is almost up, we need to finish this," Shinjiro interrupted.

"But-"

"Since I can't move, Setsuna," He turned his head over to the green-haired girl. "..You got this?"

The girl nodded her head, seemingly getting what Shinjiro was implying.

"Dark Shadow!" Tokoyami yelled as the sentient darkness propelled itself at Todoroki's team for the final time.

"Kaminari!" Todoroki shouted as waves of electricity interfered with Dark Shadow's attack.

"A-a-a-a-ahhhhh!" Dark Shadow let out an electrified scream.

After the electricity started to die down, an explosion was heard from the slowly melting ice.

"Damn you all!" Bakugo had launched himself into the air, burning with rage as he dove straight at the two teams.

"Bakugo!" Kirishima shouted at the reckless idiot who had left his team to try and snatch the ten million.

"One final chance!" Midoriya shouted as his arm began to charge with One For All once again.

"Whey~" Kaminari drunkenly said as Iida failed to activate his boosters, leaving Todoroki to try and defend two attacking teams with a single pole made from Yaoyorozu.

The three main characters of the show were about to head into a final fight of the ages but…

"Stop! Stop! Stoooooooop!" Mic shouted. "Time is up ladies and gentlemen!"

Bakugo then face planted into the ground.

"That's it for the cavalry battle!" Mic announced, followed by the crowd screaming and cheering.

Bakugo, still face planted, started to punch the ground like a crying toddler who is very angry about life.

Todoroki got off his teammates and silently cursed under his breath.

Midoriya, however, felt the worst out of the three. He felt like he failed to get him and his teammates through if he had just paid attention to the headband he was grabbing.

"Now then, let's look at the standings for the top four!" President Mic announced, bringing up the final results on screen.

"In first place: Team Todoroki!"

"Even if we won, we were on thin ice…" Yaoyorozu sighed in relief.

"I'm sorry, if only my thrusters worked back then…" Iida looked down.

"Don't concern yourself with that Iida," Todoroki cut in. "You did your best"

"Th- Thank you Todoroki-kun!" The tall boy thanked. Although, Todoroki had zoned out at that point, looking down at his left arm before clutching his fist.

"In second place: Team Bakugo!"

"We were so close as well!" Ashido sat down, exhausted.

"Second place is good enough," Sero said, wiping off his sweat.

"Well…" Kirishima said before looking at a sulking Bakugo. "I don't think he likes it very much…"

"Damn it!" Bakugo shouted, causing the other three to sweatdrop.

"In third place: Team Ke- wait…huh?! Team Shinso? Where did they come from?" Mic said, flabbergasted at the results from the quiet kid.

Shinso grinned before walking away. "Good work you three"

Although, his teammates didn't seem to even know what was going on.

Over to Midoriya now, with the boy with his head down as Hatsume took the jetpack off him.

"Deku…" Uraraka walked up to the boy, visibly saddened.

"I'm sorry guys…if only I had been able to do more…" Midoriya clenched his fists.

Hatsume and Uraraka looked at each other before pointing over to Tokoyami at the back.

"After you attacked, Todorki was clearly troubled," Tokoyami started. "Although I had planned to take the ten million…things didn't go clearly to plan"

Midoriya's eyes started to well up as he noticed Dark Shadow holding, yup you guessed it, another headband in his mouth.

"I still managed to snatch one, which means-"

"In fourth place: Team Midoriya!" Mic announced.

"Mmh!" Dark Shadow gave him a thumbs up.

In an instant, Midoriya started to cry like nobody else in the world, creating a stream so powerful it cracked the ground underneath him.

"Heh, I knew you'd do it…Midoriya," Shinjiro smiled, looking back at the kid as he was being carried away by Kendo and Setsuna.

"If you still have the strength to care then you should walk to the nurse's office on your own," Kendo pouted.

"Ow, okay okay," Shinjiro chuckled. "Glad you know you still care"

"Mou…you're a real hassle sometimes," Kendo said with a slight blush.

"Heh, I know I am"

"Still, to think even after grabbing another headband from Todoroki's team we still couldn't make it into the next round," Setsuna sighed.

"Oh well, we did our best. I guess using that device wasn't worth the pain in the end," Shinjiro looked back at the device still strapped to his back. It was inactive, probably broken even.

"Hey, what even is this device?" Setsuna asked, curiously tapping on the inanimate object.

"Oh, that? All it did was deliver an electric shock to my body, supposedly I had designed it to double the work on my body and to give it a final push. But I think after that stunt, no one would allow me to use it ever again," Shinjiro explained.

"I thought it would be drugs," Reiko stated.

"Nah, I wouldn't do something that illegal in a sports festival. I admit, it was a pretty stupid thing for me to do, but it was in the name of science sooo"

"Kendo is right, you really are an idiot"

"Ouch, Reiko. That hurt, inside and out," Shinjiro acted hurt.

"Alright you big idiot, let's get you help," Setsuna said before they walked him to the nurse's office.

"Alrighty folks, now we'll be taking an hour break for lunch before we start the afternoon festivities! Laters!" President Mic announced.

Everyone in the stadium was already filtering out to get some grub before the excitement continues.

"Hey, Eraser Head, let's go grab some food"

"I'm going back to sleep…"

"Oh…then see ya!"
