"Montiel, another round." Tai said, putting a shot glass down.

"Coming up boss." Montiel, the bartender said, pouring Tai another drink. "Get into another fight with your woman?"

"More like she kicked me out for good this time." Tai exclaimed. "You know, I do one thing for this family's safety and wellbeing, that she doesn't agree with and she suddenly decides to kick me out as if I'm the villain?"

"What'd you do to get her so mad at you?"

"I called General Ironwood." Tai said, downing his whiskey. "Told his specialist where to find the source of all the Grimm invasions happening across the Kingdoms."

"Why would Summer kick you out for that?" Montiel asked.

"Because." The sound of Grey's voice echoed through the air, before Tai could give his reasons. "The source of those Grimm invasions, was a scared, helpless Dragon Faunus child, who unintentionally caused them, because she feared for her life, at the hands of those who would discriminate, and harm her."

Montiel looked to Grey, before looking back at Tai, the shock on the bartenders face saying it all.

"What, don't tell me you're on that brats side now too Montiel." Tai hissed.

"Face it Tai." Grey said, sitting next to the blonde. "No one, likes a child abuser. Especially when that child, is your own granddaughter."

"That little monster is not…" Tai began, before he stopped as he turned to look at Grey, to see the Demon Slayer markings traveling up from his shirt, and over the Ice Mage's right eye.

"Go on Tai, say it." Grey said. "What's the matter, you look like you've just seen a Grimm. Or a Devil."

"Grey, this isn't funny. Stop this." Tai said.

"What's not funny? Me using the ace of my Semblance in the bar, or the fact that you were about to say that Anya isn't your granddaughter?" Grey asked. "Because as of a few hours ago, she is. Your eldest daughter even has the adoption papers and everything to prove it."

"She didn't…"

"She did." Grey stated, a purple icy mist traveling across the bar to Tai's hands. "Now, here's the thing I have a problem with Tai. You went rogue, and tried taking care of Anya on your own. When you know, you should have contacted me, or Oz, instead of James. Would have saved us all a ton of trouble."

"What are you expecting me to say here Grey?" Tai questioned, before his hands were pinned to the bar counter by a sheet of purple ice. "The hell man?"

"What I'm wanting you to say, is nothing. Just listen." Grey exclaimed. "I spent the last five years of my life, watching over that child. Watching every move she makes, because of who her parents are. But you and I both know, a child born of evil, isn't evil."

"Not in this case, now unfreeze my hands." Tai demanded.

"That's your problem Tai." Grey sighed, accepting a drink from Montiel. "You're so closed minded, you're not willing to see the kid for who, or what she truly is."

"An' what do you see her as?" Tai questioned, still trying to pull his hands from the bar counter.

"I see her, as the daughter of the man who murdered my best friend, but also as someone who can forge her own path. All she needs are the right people to guide her." Grey stated. "You know I lost everything, to a single monster. My entire village, and then I lost the only other parental figure I had to that same monster, because I was just as closed minded as you, thinking I could take that beast on myself. But you know what that taught me? It taught me that if I keep a closed mind about everyone I meet, who may be a monster, then I would turn the whole world against me."

"Get to the point Grey."

"I'm saying, you've screwed yourself over Tai." Grey sighed. "I'm here to let you know, your Huntsmen license has been revoked, and your behavior and attitude towards Anya, has put you on Oz's shit list. Oh, an' you better pay your tab before you leave. You'll be locked out of your shared account with Summer before morning." He stated, getting up and patting Tai's back, while paying for his own drink.

"Wait, what am I supposed to do with this ice over my hands?" Tai asked.

"Not my problem. It'll be soft enough for you to break free in an hour or so." Grey said, heading out the door.

"Montiel, mind pouring me a drink with a straw?" Tai groaned.

"Sorry, I'm cutting you off, and banning you the instant you've paid your tab." Montiel stated.

"Fuck." Tai shouted.

~Airship to Beacon~

In the airship, flying over Vale, all the candidates who were given a chance to earn their way into Beacon, were doing a variety of things. Some were talking amongst themselves about how exciting it would be to finally go to Beacon, others were looking over the information given to them from Beacon, while some were trying not to throw up due to motion sickness. But while all that was happening, a certain pair of sisters were having a wonderful time.

"Oh, I can't believe my baby sister's going to Beacon with me. This is the best day ever." Yang shouted, hugging Ruby tightly, crushing her face into her monster cleavage.

It had been a week since the incident that Yang went through involving the Atlesian Military, and in that time several things happened. Ruby was thrown a celebration party by her mom, and Yang had managed to hone her skills and new abilities that came with being a Dragon Faunus, a reasonable degree within the week she had to get accustomed to them.

Though word had spread fast that a Faunus Child of a supposed extinct species of Faunus was brought into the Xiao Long-Rose family, and the party became a double celebration of Ruby's acceptance and Yang's official adoption of Anya.

But Yang had mainly spent the week, when not training her new skills and abilities, taking care of Anya, and learning new things about herself. For instance, her canines were a bit longer than normal human teeth.

When looking over her new body in the mirror, she also found scales had grown along her vertebra from the base of her skull, to the base of her spine, almost like they were part of an artificial spine she'd had implanted. The scales that acted like armor on her arms, shoulders, and collarbones, covering a small portion of her chest, only came out, when she was in the mindset for fighting. She also found the armored scales formed under her orange stockings, akin to shin guards. Aside from the scales on her cheeks, the ones that would manifest on her arms, shoulders, chest, and legs were diamond shaped, and looked more like they were tattooed instead of naturally grown, while at the same time were harder than diamonds.

She'd also noticed that her chest had gained a bit more lift since her transformation, making her wonder if her new draconic genetics had something to do with it, or if she was still growing, despite being seventeen years old.

She'd also found out that, her natural strength, speed, reflexes, and overall flexibility, had increased drastically from what they used to be, without the use of her Semblance, with her flexibility making it seem like her body was practically made of rubber. Normally Yang would have a hard time, with hauling a cart full of chopped wood to sell in bundles, at the farmers market on Patch, but she'd managed to do that very same job, and not even break a sweat. And her speed has increased so much that she could actually keep up with Ruby, when using her Petal Dash Semblance on one of its lower speeds, which was still faster than her motorbike.

Then, the day they were getting ready to haul out to Beacon, Yang found out her skin was incredibly tougher, and couldn't be easily penetrated, especially around the area with her scales, without the use of her Aura shield.

She found this out, because Ruby accidentally launching a kitchen knife off the counter with a cutting board when bending down to pick up something she dropped, resulting in the knife hitting Yang in the chest, right in the middle of her collar bone. The skin had barely been scratched, but given how fast it was going with the amount of force that sent it flying, and the fact it was the sharpest knife in the kitchen, Yang should have been dead due to a severed airway.

Ruby spent the next several hours apologizing and trying to get Anya to forgive her, begging for the child not to be mad at her anymore for the accident, until she was finally forgiven with a promise of bottles of apple juice. But that all lead up to where they were now, with Yang trying to suffocate her sister between her large pillowy mammaries.

"Please stop…" Ruby asked, sounding like she couldn't breathe, as she struggled out of her sister's death hug.

"But I'm so proud of you…" Yang smiled letting go of the hug, jumping a bit.

"Please sis, it was nothing." Ruby stated.

"Are you kidding me? What you did to get in was incredible, everyone at Beacon is going to think you're the bee's knees." Yang smiled. "Gaining the attention of the headmaster, that's something to be proud of."

"I don't want to be the bee's knees; I don't want to be any kind of knees. I just wanna be a normal girl with normal knees." Ruby deadpanned.

"What is with you? Aren't you excited?" Yang asked.

"Of course, I'm excited, I just… I got moved ahead two years. I don't want people to think I'm special or anything." Ruby sighed.

"But you are special." Yang smiled, putting her arm around her shoulder. "To mom, Anya and I." Ruby smiled softly. "And I guess Anya would say the same… if she was awake." She said gesturing to the slumbering dragon Faunus. The two had learned that the poor girl was vulnerable to motion sickness.

Yang smiled at her sleeping daughter. She knew her mom was right. Had she not shown the adoption documents Yang could've very well lost her acceptance into beacon. Yet, the fiery human turned dragon Faunus stood by what she said. it would've been worth it to protect the young girl.

Yang was brought out of her musing by ruby. "Yang, I can see Signal from here." The blonde chuckled. "True, but Beacon's our home now." The blonde said joining her sister looking at the view. Soon groaning was heard behind them. "Have a nice nap sweetie?" Yang asked watching Anya yawn. "Uh huh." The young girl nodded. "Well, we're…" whatever yang was going to say was lost as a blond-haired boy ran past covering his mouth. "Guess the view isn't for everyone huh?" Ruby said chuckling in sympathy. Yang snickered.

"Uh mom?" Anya said. "Yes Anya what is it?" Yang asked. "Um, you have puke on your boot." The Young Faunus said pointing to her mother's boot. What followed got a lot of laughs to some, but it was embarrassing for Anya as her mother chased her aunt around the bullhead intent on using ruby's cloak to wipe the puke off.

~LATER AT BEACON~

"Has Anya always been this energetic?" Ruby asked with a single eyebrow raised. "I have no idea Rubes." Yang said as her daughter almost yanked her arm out of place geeking out at the multiple weapons. "I was half expecting you to do this ruby." Yang said with a cocky grin. Ruby crossed her arms and frowned. "I'm an aunt now yang. I need to set a good example." She said. "I know. I'm just teasing. Anyways, I need to see if I can find professor Ozpin. Think you could watch over Anya?" yang asked. Ruby nodded.

"Great, thanks." Yang said before literally vanishing from sight. The backlash sent Ruby spinning. "Wait yang! Where are we supposed to go? The dorms? Do we even have dorms? I have no idea what to do." Ruby exclaimed before falling backwards into a trolley, all the while her niece watched with a sweatdrop.

Just as Anya was about to speak, another spoke up before her. "What are you doing?" The two turned to see a girl with white, or was it silver, hair glaring at ruby. "Sorry." Ruby said getting up. "Sorry?! You Know this is a school for people training to be huntsmen. You shouldn't be here if you're such a klutz. How old are you anyway."

"Stop being mean to Aunt Ruby. She lost her balance because mom ran too fast." Anya said frowning. She didn't like this girl's attitude. "Excuse me? Did this animal just call you aunt?" the girl said causing Ruby to go rigid and tilt her head enough for her hair to overshadow her eyes.

"Take that back." She said emotionlessly. "Why? I bet she's with the white fang." The girl continued. Ruby tightened a fist. "Berate me, and call me names all you want… but no one insults my niece." The scarlet reaper said menacingly deploying Crescent Rose in its scythe form. "Auntie no! remember what mom said. if you did anything reckless while I'm with you again, she'd train you on the weekends all day." Anya said with a worried look.

Ruby glanced at Anya then at the terrified silverette. The reaper glared at her. "Listen, if you ever insult my niece again. I will give you a beating you won't forget." Ruby threatened. "How dare you threaten me!" the girl said "Do you even know who I am!?" Ruby scoffed. "I honestly don't care princess. Like I said, insult my niece again. I WILL drop you." She said before socking the girl in the face.

"Let's go Anya. When I get the chance, I'm going to let off some steam." Ruby said leading the young girl away from the silverette.

"It's heiress actually." A calm voice said gaining the attention of both aunt and niece. Turning, the two saw a ravenette having an amused expression. "Nice punch by the way." She said. Ruby blushed. "Sorry." The reaper said. "Don't be. It's quite amusing to see a Schnee get put in her place. I'm Blake by the way." The ravenette said.

"Wait, Schnee?" Ruby asked the name sounding familiar. "The girl you punched was Weiss Schnee, Heiress to the Schnee Dust Company." Blake said before Ruby's face paled. She punched the heiress to the biggest dust provider in remnant. While she didn't regret punching the girl for insulting Anya, she did regret not knowing who she was.

"Your niece is a Faunus." Blake said as Ruby nodded. "Yeah, Dragon Faunus. The reason why she's here is because mom couldn't look after her due to a mission she had to do." She said. "I see. I take it that your sister is a teacher here?" Blake asked. "No mom's starting her first year just like Auntie Ruby." Anya said.

Blake looked to ruby for answers. "My sister adopted Anya a week ago. She's a dragon Faunus as well. However, she was once human." the scarlet reaper said as Blake raised an eyebrow. "Anya bit her when she attempted to make Anya vomit. Turns out that dragon Faunus' have a unique genome in their saliva that turns non-dragon Faunus into dragon Faunus. Which goes for both humans and Faunus." Ruby clarified. "I see. Well, we should both get going to the auditorium. it was nice meeting you two." Blake said before departing. "Bye nice lady." Anya said.

Blake glanced over her shoulder and waved before continuing on her walk unaware as to how much the little girl would change her life

LATER IN THE AUDITORIUM

Yang fidgeted with worry. "What if something happened to Anya." She panicked thinking of all the ways Anya could get hurt. It wasn't until she felt a tug on her shorts that she let out a sigh of relief. "Mom. I'm fine. Though I wish I could say the same for aunt ruby." Anya said before glancing at the ravenette-red head.

Yang sweat dropped as her sister ranted angrily to herself. "What happened after I left?" the blonde mused. "You made auntie fall onto a luggage cart. She got in a verbal scuffle with the owner of said luggage. Said owner insulted me." Yang frowned. She had told ruby not to get into altercations while Anya was with her.

"She almost bisected the girl with Crescent Rose, but settled on a punch to the face." Yang winced at what ruby nearly did. While it was true that ruby wouldn't make those kinds of threats, but after what happened at Dust till Dawn. Anyone that seemed to threaten Anya be it insults or physical trauma, Ruby wouldn't show mercy.

Ruby took a deep calming breath. "Sorry yang, but after…" she began. "I understand Ruby. I'm proud that you restrained yourself." Ruby smiled. "Auntie behind you." Anya said. "So, you leave without apologizing?" a familiar voice voiced. Ruby growled scaring Anya who hid behind yang.

"I honestly don't think you deserve one for insulting my niece." Ruby said to Weiss as her hand twitched almost instinctively reaching for crescent rose. "Mom, that's the lady who insulted me." Yang looked at her daughter. "What'd she call you?" the blonde said. "An animal." Anya said. yang looked at the Schnee, eyes red with anger. "You called my daughter an animal!" she snarled.

Weiss took a step back. The blonde looked eerily similar to the young girl. "And you are." She asked. "I'm Ruby's sister AND this girl's mother." The blonde Faunus snarled. "Forgive me. I shouldn't have judged her, but I have my reasons for hating Faunus. I'll try to not call her an animal again, but I don't make any promises. I still don't trust her." Weiss said truthfully. After all, a dragon Faunus put her sister in the hospital. Unfortunately, the heiress had no idea that the Faunus that did it was in front of her. Yang's eyes returned to normal as a voice spoke up

The four turned towards the stage to see ozpin, grey, and Goodwitch. "I'll make this brief for you all." The headmaster said "you came here to hone your skills and all I see is wasted potential. Potential that you'll be able to get during your time here. Thank you."

"You'll sleep in the ballroom tonight. The initiation will be tomorrow. You're dismissed." Goodwitch said. Yang frowned. "Ruby, did professor ozpin sound a little off?" she asked. "I don't know maybe. I mean you probably shocked him with Anya's adoption."

Yang noticed Grey motioned her to follow him and the other professors. "Well, I have to talk with ozpin. I'll take Anya with me." the blonde Faunus told sister. Ruby nodded before Yang left. "Ok, now I just need to find a Yang Xiao Long." Weiss said. this caught ruby's attention.

"Why do you need to find her?" the scarlet reaper asked. "Hmm? Oh, my mother wanted me to give this to her." Weiss said showing Ruby an envelope with the SDC logo on it. "You just missed her. I'm her sister. Plus, I don't think she'd want to talk to you right now." Ruby said.

Weiss' eyes widened before explaining what it was. "It's check to compensate for what occurred a week ago. Father was very upset once he learned about the check. Thankfully, I was far from atlas when he found out." She said giving the envelope to ruby. "I'll be sure to give it to her." Ruby said. "Thank you, I hope that we'll be on good terms." Ruby looked at her with a serious look. "we'll see Schnee. We'll see."

LATER IN OZPIN'S OFFICE

"You wanted to see me professor?" Yang asked. "Yes Miss Xiao Long. A few things to talk about actually." Ozpin said. "Firstly, I'd like to both apologize for, and clear up, what happened last week at your mother's house. We had no intention to harm your daughter, but rather take her in." this raised Yang's interest. "Professor Goodwitch was even willing to adopt Anya. That's why we left without complaint when you showed the adoption documents." Ozpin said

"Also, had Tai called me I would have observed you to see if Anya was in good hands. If you were abusing her I would've taken her to ozpin. I may be an asshole. But I'm not heartless" Grey said surprising the blonde. "We received a compensation check and a written apology from general Ironwood regarding Specialist Schnee's actions. At the time of the incident, she had gone three days without sleep. He knows it's no excuse and she's being punished accordingly." Goodwitch said.

"Now, onto you appearance. I believe this will help." Ozpin said setting a book onto his desk. Yang frowned seeing the cover. "That emblem is tattooed on Anya's back." She said. "Tattooed you say." Ozpin said before he and Goodwitch looked at Grey. "What?" he asked.

"You put a tattoo on my daughter's back. I thought you said you weren't heartless." The blonde growled out eyes turning red. "If I wanted to be a heartless bastard Xiao Long… I would've branded it." Grey said. "Plus, it's a tracking seal, not a tattoo." Yang calmed down after hearing this.

"Now that book will help you understand what's happening to you alright. It'll also help you understand your new abilities." Ozpin said "Thanks professor. Also, Professor Grey." Yang said. Grey looked at her. "Yeah?" Yang covered Anya's eyes after picking up the envelope and book. "Clothes." Grey looked down to see that he only had his boxers on. "Are you kidding me!?"

Goodwitch snickered after yang left. "I'm glad you find this fucking hilarious Glynda!" Grey said putting his pants on. After doing so, grey looked at ozpin. "What now Oz?" he asked. "Now we wait to see if their daughter saves this world or brings it to ruin."

A/N: and so, ends chapter 3. From here on out it's completely AU and my version of Mama yang. Let me know what you think. Yes I know I made Ruby seem OOC when she met Weiss. This version of ruby, unlike her original self in F-M-D's Mama Yang, is be a bit more aggressive in protecting Anya after the issue that yang had with Winter Schnee, and her fight with Roman. Things will be slightly if not completely different to the original mama yang so please be kind with your reviews
