Tai growled under his breath. "How could yang.. My own flesh and blood adopt THEIR offspring." The past week he'd been camping out in the forest outside Vale. Gone was his huntsmen license, his funds, everything. All because of that brat. "I'll head to Atlas to convince James to apprehend her." He muttered. "And what if he doesn't?" a raspy voice said from behind him. Turning Tai saw a cloaked man.

"Who are you?" the blonde asked. "I'm Tiberius. The eternal hunter. Having a problem are we?" the figure asked. "My eldest daughter adopted a child of two monsters. A dragon faunas." Tai said. "a dragon Faunus you say." Tai frowned. I don't have enough money to pay you to kidnap her though." Tiberius glanced at him.

"Don't worry I will kill her free of charge. As long as I keep her head as a trophy." The hunter said. Tai reluctantly nodded. He didn't exactly want the girl dead. That much was true, but he'd do anything to free his family of the devil spawn yang adopted. "You won't be seeing me again after this." Tiberius said before turning away from the blonde. "I will be getting a new trophy. And you won't be able to stop me Guardian." Tiberius said laughing darkly.

Tai sighed as the cloaked figure vanished. 'Now, to get to Atlas.' He thought. Unaware to either person, a hooded figure was watching the exchange. 'Mr. Xiao Long what are doing?" It thought before gritting its teeth. "Whoever Yang adopted is in trouble. I will defend both her and whoever she adopted. That's a promise." Silver Eyes flashed beneath the hood.

MEANWHILE AT BEACON

"Mom get up. It's daytime." Anya said. "Five more minutes sweetie." Yang muttered. Her daughter sighed. "Mom, you burned a hole in your shirt again." The dragon faunas deadpanned.

Yang's eyes shot opened. Glancing down the fiery blonde blushed a deep crimson. There was a sizable gap in her shirt revealing her bust. Thankfully, her bra was intact. "Damn it. That's the sixth time this week." Yang thought covering her chest.

Since becoming a dragon faunas, Yang found herself waking up randomly with a burned shirt. Most likely due to the fact she was a fire dragon faunas.

"Burned shirt?" a voice asked. Turning Yang Anya saw Nora looking at them, eyebrow raised. Yang's blush returned as she scratched the back of her head. "Yeah, apparently I'm a fire-based dragon faunas." The blonde said. Nora nodded.

"Fire dragon faunas' typically have a higher body temperature compared to others while Ice-based dragon faunas' has a slightly lower body temperature. There's a store that specializes in clothing for dragon faunas of all types in vale I'll take you there at some point if you want." She said. Yang nodded "thanks. Well, we'd best get ready for initiation.

LATER AFTER CHANGING CLOTHES

"Mom, people are staring." Anya said nervously. Yang glanced at a few girls muttering to each other. They were pointing at her. She had a sneaking suspicion as to what they were talking about. "Ignore them. As for you lot." The blonde brawler said gaining the girls' attention

"You do realize beacon has a no bullying rule right otherwise you'd have to take it up with Professors Fullbuster and blacksteel." Yang said. "Whatever, we won't hang out with a teenage dirtbag of a mom. Seriously why would a girl like you bring a kid to school." One of the girls said before a feeling of dread engulfed them.

"Are you… threatening my niece and sister?" a cheery voice asked. Yang and Anya sweat dropped while Nora raised an eyebrow. The girls turned to see Ruby with an unsettling smile, and a twitching eyebrow while having a dark aura surrounding her.

"Hey ladies." Yang called out to them. They looked to her. "If you value your lives… I suggest you run." The gossipers, not wanting to find out what the blonde meant, bolted leaving only a body sized dust outline. Nora paled slightly.

"What would she have done?" she asked. "If auntie have had Crescent Rose. She most likely would've bisected them." Anya said. "That makes Nora's threat look tame." Weiss said approaching the group before thinking. 'Thank Oum I decided to apologize. Good lord she's scary with that dark aura surrounding her.'

"Sorry Yang, I know they weren't bullying Anya, but I didn't want them to start." Ruby said. "Understandable Rubes." Yang said. "Yang right?" Weiss asked pointing at the blonde whom nodded. "I mean no disrespect, but your sister acts more of a Mama Bear than you." Yang chuckled as ruby blushed.

"None taken. Listen Schnee. On behalf of my sister, I apologize for her actions yesterday. After what happened with your sister and the dust robbery she stopped, ruby has gotten extremely protective of Anya."

Weiss nodded before noticing a ponytailed red head. "Well, we should get ready. Good luck with initiation." Ruby, Yang, Anya, and Nora nodded.

LATER AT THE CLIFFS

The beacon hopefuls stood at the cliff's edge having listened to his rules. Ruby was panicking. "Why does it have to be the first person we make eye contact with." She internally whined.

Anya watched as the students were flung into the forest one by one. Suddenly she sensed something she didn't like. she took a quick glance over her shoulder before bolting towards her mother. "Anya! What are you doing?!" Yang asked her daughter before they were launched into the forest.

"What Just happened?" Grey asked. Glynda and Ozpin shrugged before a raspy voice spoke up. "She was here. Soon, I'll have a new trophy." The three turned to see a hooded figure with what appeared to be a clawed robotic right arm.

"Who are you?" Grey asked purple mist already covering his hands. Something about this guy made him uneasy. Same could've been said about Glynda and Ozpin. The headmaster's grip on his cane grew tighter while Glynda slowly reached for her riding crop.

The figure looked at the trio. His left eye was a radioactive green while his right was red and appeared to be robotic (A/N: Think T-800 from the terminator series)

"Who I am… Is none of your concern Boxer Boy." The unknown man said before Grey looked down. he was wearing only his boxers. While he was slightly alarmed, grey ignored it to face the man again only for him to be gone.

"Of all the times the curse to occur. This was the worst!" he yelled getting his clothes on. Glynda, who normally would've been amused, agreed. "Yes, this truly was the worse timing. Whoever his target is. I pray that this man isn't strong."

In the corner of his eye, ozpin noticed another hooded figure, this one wearing a brown trench coat, looking into the forest before flickering away. 'Whoever that was, I pray that he or she is after that man.'

LATER IN THE FOREST

"Anya Xiao Long! What were you thinking!?" Yang scolded her daughter while her aviators hid her red eyes. "Sorry mom, it's just before you launched, I sensed someone headed towards us. Towards me." Any anger yang had vanished. "Do you know who it was?" she asked taking her sunglasses off eyes returning to normal. Anya shook her head.

"Ok stay close to me then." Yang said scanning her surroundings. "Whoever's after my daughter will be in a world of hurt." Anya clung to her like a lifeline. Unaware to the two, a set of silver eyes was watching them hidden by the foliage.

'So that's who she adopted. Wait, Yang isn't supposed to be a faunas. What happened to her?' the person thought frowning. 'No matter I should check up on ruby. Yang and the little girl will run into Blake shortly.' The figure departed jumping from tree branch to tree branch.

Anya stopped and glanced behind her. "Something wrong sweetie?" her mother asked. "I had the feeling that we were being watched, but this feeling wasn't evil, like the one at the cliffs." Anya said "it was comforting as if whoever was watching us had our back." Yang glanced at the trees before leading her daughter out of the clearing.

not too long after the mother and daughter duo left the clearing did Tiberius enter it. "She was here. I'm close." He smirked. However, said smirk vanished when saw footprints of the branches. "It appears that I'm not the only one tailing that girl." The man's eyes widened. Seeing the size of the footprint. "No. 'He' can't be here. Can he?"

Tiberius sighed in relief seeing the aura level. "Good it's just a wanna-be hero and not HIM." He saw some beo-wolves approach him. Tiberius grinned as his human eye glowed slightly "You may be of use to me beasts of evil."

Yang and Anya continued on their way. "Ruby. Where are you?" the blonde called out. "Mom, if you keep yelling out… you'll attract Grimm." Anya said in a monotone voice. As if to prove her point several ursa both major and minor came out of the bushes.

"You wouldn't have seen a girl with a red cloak have you? Yang asked jokingly. "Mom really?" Anya said in disbelief as one of the Grimm swung at the two. Yang grabbed her daughter and leapt back a few feet breaking the ground when she landed.

"Could've said no. Anya get to cover. I'll deal with them." Anya nodded and hid unaware that their unseen protector had returned. 'I will intervene if necessary, but this is yang's fight.' It thought before looking down at the little faunas girl. 'Whoever, this little girl is… I WILL guard her while Yang's preoccupied.'

"I know you're there." Anya said glancing in his direction. "Impressive sensory skills kid, but I suggest you pay more attention to your… mom right now." The stranger said eyes glowing before flickering out of Anya's sensory range. Anya raised an eyebrow and looked back and saw her mom on the ground with an ursa over her.

Yang grunted in pain. "Grimm aren't supposed to be this strong." She thought as the ursa lunged forward to bite her. Taking a risk, yang raised an arm to intercept the bite knowing that it could destroy one half of ember Celica. Suddenly her daughter cried out. "NO STOP!" the bite never came.

Risking a glance, the blonde dragon faunas was shocked to see the ursa frozen in place still poised to strike. "The fuck." Yang thought before blasting the frozen ursa to dust. Getting up she sighed and rushed towards her daughter.

"Are you ok?" Yang asked. Anya nodded before her eyes widened. "Mom behind you!" she yelled. Yang whipped her head around to see a beo-wolf about to slash her. This Grimm was different from the others. Instead of red eyes and markings, they were a radioactive green. Just before it struck, a gunshot rang out.

Mother and daughter looked up to see a familiar face. "Ms. Blake!" Anya said bolting towards the girl and hugging her legs. "Thanks for the save Blake." Yang said.

The black-haired girl nodded. "So, why hide it?" Yang asked, seeing this as a good opportunity to confront the secret faunas. "Hide what? Blake asked playing dumb. Yang frowned. "The fact you're a faunas. Cat faunas to be exact." The ravenette sighed

"Guess I should know better than to play dumb with a fellow faunas." Blake said. "Yeah you should've. Onto another note, what was up with that beowolf? I'd never seen one with green eyes and markings." Yang said as Anya's eyes widened feeling familiar energy coming from the disintegrating Grimm.

"It was sent by the person." She said. Yang's eyes widened. "Person?" Blake asked. "Before I was launched, Anya sensed someone approaching her and then decided that she'd be safer with me." Yang said "But she also sensed another tailing us, but never approaching. Evidently, that one is protecting us."

"I talked with him briefly. The one that's friendly, I didn't get his name but his eyes." Anya said "what about his eyes sweetie?" yang asked. "They were like auntie Ruby's. They were silver." Anya said shocking yang.

"Are you sure?" yang asked. "I know what I saw mom." Anya said. "If there's someone after her… we should hurry and get the relics before whoever's after her catches up with us." Blake said getting a nod from Yang.

LATER

"So, the gang' all here, lovely. Now we can all die together." Yang said as multiple Grimm surrounded the Beacon hopefuls, all of them had green eyes and markings. "Not funny mom." Anya mumbled before her eyes widen. "Not if have anything to say about it." Ruby said preparing to attack the strange Grimm. "Auntie wait!" Anya yelled grabbing Ruby's arms.

"What's wrong Anya?" the scarlet reaper asked. "He's here. the man who's after me." the young faunas said. Ruby then gain a serious demeanor on her face whilst the other initiates adopted a defensive stance in front of Anya.

"I must give you points for being brave. All of you." A sinister voice said as the green-eyed Grimm parted revealing Tiberius. "However, you aren't strong enough to fight me. hand over the girl and I'll make your deaths quick."

"Did someone hire you?" Yang asked. The blonde dragoness' fists ignited into crimson flames at Tiberius' response. "Yes, a man by the name of Taiyang did. As long as I keep the girl's head as a trophy."

Nora growled. "Ren, hold Magnhild for me please." Ren's eyes widened. 'Oh boy.' He thought taking his friend's weapon. Nora then walked past yang causing the blonde's eyes to widen. "Yang. You might want to step back." Ren called out.

"You got a lot of nerve saying that in front of us." Nora said as pink electricity danced across her body. "Girl, you have no idea as to how outclassed you are right now." Tiberius said. "We'll see." The half-breed said smirking.

Tiberius raised an eyebrow as Nora grit her teeth. The electricity then began to arc from her body to the ground as the breeze picked up speed. "The hell!?" Yang asked. "Well yang, and Ruby. You wanted to see Nora's dragon faunas form. You're about to see it." Ren said making the sisters' eyes to widen

Nora let out a yell as her pupils became slits. "Raaaargh!" she screamed. A bolt of lightning struck Nora causing dust and dirt to kick up. "Like I said pal, you got a lot of nerve saying that about Anya." Nora said her voice sounding feral.

As the dust settled Nora's body became visible and what they saw shocked not only the initiates, but Tiberius as well. The sides of Nora's face and forehead was covered in pink scales. Her teeth had sharpened. Pink scales covered the top of her arms and the front of her shins. Her fingernails had lengthened slightly and mimicked talons. The pupils of her eyes were slitted.

"Shall we begin." Tiberius said. Nora vanished in a blink of an eye. the hunter brought his arm up in time to block a punch from the admittedly strong half-breed. The block sent a shockwave towards the initiates nocking a few off their feet.

The Stranger watched the fight from a distance. "To think that this Nora is stronger than mine. She'd give mine a run for her money.

Tiberius yawned whilst blocking a few punches and kicks from Nora and yang (whom had joined in after Nora took a punch to the face.) "I will admit you two are a challenge, however…" Tiberius said before blasting the two away. "You both are still leagues beneath me."

Nora's form switched back to her human one as she lost consciousness. Yang slowly got up coughing up blood. "You will never get my daughter. Not as long as I still breath."

"That can be arranged." Tiberius said charging aiming to kill. "MOM NO! Anya yelled tears in her eyes. "SOMEONE PLEASE HELP HER!" Ruby exclaimed. Yang turned around to face the others as the blade neared her. She closed her eyes. 'Ruby please look after Anya. And Anya, I'm proud to have been your mom even if it was only for a brief amount of time.' Yang closed her eyes and grinned tears streaming down her face. The blade never came however.

"Who the hell are you!?" Tiberius demanded. "Someone you shouldn't have pissed off." The stranger said darkly before delivering a right hook into Tiberius' gut.

(Break through it all; Sonic Frontiers ost plays)

"that's the guy who'd been tailing us. The good one anyway!" Anya said looking to her aunt. "he's got one hell of a right hook. I'll give him that." Ren said. Ruby looked at the hooded stranger. and silently thanked the brother gods for sending the person who saved her sister.

"Yang, take Nora and the others get to the cliff." Yang blinked. How'd this guy know her name. She shook her head. That was a question for later. "Thank you. Whoever you are." The blonde said. the hooded stranger looked over his shoulder and gave her a thumbs up. 'Anya was right, he does have silver eyes.'

MEANWHILE AT THE CLIFF FACE

Ozpin, Goodwitch, and Grey gave a sigh of relief at seeing the students get away from the dangerous man. But one question remained. The other one. The man who saved Yang and Nora. Who was he? "That's not a student ozpin." Glynda said as the three watched the two unknown men duke it out. Ozpin gave a nod before turning to Grey.

"Do you recognize him?" he asked. Grey shook his head. "No, but he seems to know Yang and the Valkyrie girl."

Back with the students

"We need to go now!" Yang said handing Nora to ren. Everyone nodded as Blake threw one of yang's arms over her shoulders. "Whoever that guy is. I'm glad he's on our side. Another blonde said.

"I agree with you on that Jaune." A red-haired girl said.

The stranger glanced once more at the fleeing group of kids. 'Need to make sure they get to Goodwitch. Ozpin, I don't give a Grimm's butt. If he tries anything with any one of them Oz is dead. I don't know who the other guy is though.' He thought.

Tiberius grit his teeth. 'Whoever this guy is, he'd definitely give him a run for his money. The hunter's eyes widened as four figures appeared beside the stranger two on either side. One appeared to be an older and human version of yang. Another appeared to be an older version of that Ruby girl. The others were unknown to him.

The stranger growled under his breath as a blade appeared from his wrist ripping the coat's sleeve revealing it to be a gauntlet sword. "PHEONIX JAVELIN!" he yelled charging at Tiberius as the blade became coated in flames.

Tiberius didn't have time to think as the stranger literally morphed into a flame-like spear piercing his body.

The silver-eyed stranger slowly stood up. Before he could leave though, Tiberius laughed. "I see now. You strange, are a worthy opponent. Nearly on par with him. You may have bested me this time. Next time though. It will be different." The stranger narrowed his eyes as Tiberius turned to ashes. The stranger scoffed before looking towards the ruins and cliff face. "Till next time…. Teams RWBY and JNPR." He said before vanishing into the foliage.

"He's gone." Goodwitch said looking at Ozpin. "I can't find him on any of the cameras. It's like he was a ghost the whole time." Grey said. the headmaster frowned. Who was that man? "Next time we see him and we should properly thank him, but for now we have team assignments to do."

LATER

"Jaune Arc, Nora Valkyrie, Pyrrha Nikos, and Lie Ren. You all received the Black rook pieces. You'll be known as team JNPR led by jaune arc." Ozpin said. "Led by?" Jaune asked shocked. "Congrats young man."

"And finally, Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, Blake Belladonna, and Yang Xiao Long. You recovered the white knight pieces. You'll be known as team RWBY led by Ruby Rose." Ozpin said as Yang and Anya congratulated their sister/aunt. Blake clapped her hands. Weiss, though angry, gave a smile at the young girl. Nora cheered the loudest.

"Looks like it's going to be an interesting year." Ozpin said before mentally frowning. Just who was the hooded stranger and why did he have silver eyes?
