Harley P.O.V.

I looked at the Blockbuster sign in shock. I couldn't believe that I was in the 1990s. It had to be. The only Blockbuster store that exists in my world is in the town of Bend, Oregon. Blockbuster was the king of video rental stores during the majority of the 1990s.

"Blockbuster?" I asked.

"What's Blockbuster?" Bucky asked me.

"Blockbuster is the most popular video rental store ever." I told the green rabbit.

"Where are we?" Jenny asked.

"We're on the planet Earth. My planet." I said to Jenny.

"This is Earth?" Bucky asked me.

"Yes. This is Earth, Bucky." I said to Bucky.

Suddenly, all of us heard a loud crash inside the Blockbuster building. We were all shocked. Me and Jenny walked over to the Blockbuster building. Jenny took out her maser pistol just in case something bad happened. We both saw a woman in a green jumpsuit rise up from the ground. Me and Jenny were surprised by the woman. She was a human like me and my sister Emily. We both walked up to the woman.

"Hi, my name is Harley Keener and this is Jenny from the planet Aldebaran." I said to the woman. "We mean you no harm."

"My name is Vers of Starforce. Do you know where I can find communications equipment?" The blonde haired woman asked me and Jenny.

"Now that you mention it, I saw a RadioShack that was just next door of this building." I said to Vers. "I saw it before we entered this building. If you follow us, we can show you where Radioshack is."

Vers followed me and Jenny back outside of the Blockbuster parking lot. Bucky, Blinky, Deadeye and Bruiser were waiting for us outside.

"We found a human woman inside of the Blockbuster store. It's okay guys, she just wants some communications equipment." I told Bucky and his crew.

"Are these guys your friends?" Vers asked me.

"Yes. These guys are my friends." I said to Vers.

"Are any of you guys Skrulls?" Vers asked Bucky and his crew.

"What're Skrulls?" Bucky asked the human woman.

"Skrulls are aliens that can shape shift into anybody." Vers said. "I am Vers of Starforce. I defeat Skrulls."

"There's the RadioShack, Vers." I said to the woman, pointing to the RadioShack store. "That's where you can find communication equipment. Speaking of which, why do you need communication equipment for?"

"I need communication equipment so that way I can contact my friends. There in space." Vers said.

"I doubt you'll be able to find any communication equipment for intergalactic communication in Radioshack." I said to Vers.

"Let me get the communications equipment I need to contact my friends from Starforce." Vers said before walking to Radioshack to get the get the communications equipment that she needed. I noticed a police patrol car that was parked in front of us. I walked over to the car. I saw a security guard sitting inside the driver's side of the car. I rapped my fist gently at the window. The security guard opened up his diver's side window. I could hear the song Whatta Man by Salt-N-Pepa blaring in the car radio.

"Hi. Can you please tell me what the date is?" I asked the police security guard.

"The date is June 12, 1995." The policeman said to me. "You're in the city of Los Angeles, California."

"Thanks for letting me know." I told the policeman.

I walked away from the police car and walked toward Bucky O'Hare and his crew. I told them that they were on the planet Earth in the year 1995. They were intrigued. We decided to get something to eat or drink. I wanted to look for a bar because a bar is the most sociable indoor place on the planet besides the park and various other location. I didn't have enough money to pay for 7 people in a restaurant, so the bar would be the best bet, as we didn't really want people to know the fact that there existed creatures from another dimension quite yet.

"You guys hungry?" I asked Bucky and his crew.

"Yes. We're pretty hungry and thirsty." Bucky said to Harley.

"You guys want to get some drinks at the bar? I won't pick alcoholic beverages, I promise." I said to Bucky and the crew.

"As long as the drinks are not alcoholic and safe for consumption, I'll allow you, me and my team to get some drinks and to hang out." Bucky said.

"Ok." I said. We looked for the nearest bar. It was night time out. It was pitch black. I saw a nearby bar whose sign read: The Slow Club. We walked toward the bar. I reached the doorway and I opened the front door of the club. A Billy Squier song was playing in the background. It was fairly loud. It was the song Everybody Wants You. That is one of my all time favorite songs. The bar was nice. It wasn't like those bars that were portrayed like in movies and TV shows where the inside of the bar was covered in neon lights and had strippers in them. This bar had no strippers.

The bar was also fairly lit. The bartender, who was a human man looked at me and the group of anthropomorphic animals in astonishment. We all took our seats in the barstools.

"Welcome to the Slow Club. How may I serve you guys?" The bartender asked us.

"My name is Harley Keener." I said. "I would like a couple of drinks for me and my friends. I want a Coke and for the bunny rabbit, I want you to give him a Diet Coke, for the female cat I want you to get her a Mellow Yellow, a orange Fanta for the duck, A&W root beer for the big baboon and for my sister," I asked Emily what soda she wanted to drink. She said she wanted Sprite.

"For my sister Emily, I want you to give her a Sprite." I said to the bartender.

"Ok. I'll get your guys your drinks in a few minutes." the bartender said to me, Bucky and his crew.

As the bartender was preparing our drinks, I took a moment to look at the interior of the bar. There were hundreds of beer and alcohol bottles lined up against the wall in front of us. To the right of me was a 24 in television set that was displaying an episode of Seinfeld. There were a whole bunch of people in the bar. They were just hanging around. There was a pool table in the bar as well as casino games and darts. There were a couple of people playing pool. A couple of people were shooting darts at a dartboard.

The bartender came back with the drinks. He give all of us our drinks. I thanked the bartender. I took a sip from my glass of Coke. It tasted so good. Bucky tried out his glass of Diet Coke. He liked the taste of it. Soon, all of the members of Bucky O'Hare's crew, with the exception of Blinky because he was a robot, enjoyed their drinks. Me and the bartender quickly struck up a conversation. We talked about the OJ Simpson case, our favorite rock bands and musicians, daily news and other things. We were all having a good time.

Then, after we got done drinking our drinks, me, Bucky and the gang were starting to get tired. I looked at my watch and it was nearly 11:00 P.M. We eventually found a hotel. We were able to get two hotel rooms for the seven of us. It cost us about $250. We got our hotel rooms. They looked like your average hotel room. We didn't bring a set of clothes for us to wear, so we wore our regular clothes to bed with us. This was the start of our first day in the year 1995.
