"Now before we continue," the Uatu clone started, interrupting Cinder in the process. "...I need to explain the concept of the Omniverse." Everyone nodded in understanding.

Opening his hand, the watcher created a miniature display of multiple identical galaxies connected by threads. The majority of the them were green while the one in the center was red. "The Multiverse is a group of universes that share in certain elements such as people, places, things and events. World that fit these definitions of similarity spring from a "Prime World," meaning that those worlds always carry certain things from the first world, even if they are expressed differently. Because of this, certain multiverses are labeled as Universes in order to recognize the collection of worlds as related. For example; the world we first watched existed in the Bioshock Universe. The collection of multiple multiverses, or universes for simplicity's sake, is known as the Omniverse." The universes in his hand condensed as the display zoomed out, showing numerous orbs of light, denoting places of life in the Omniverse.

"So, like Cards Against Remnant?" Emerald asked. "A normal Nevermore card would go with other normal cards, but a rare Nevermore card would go with rare cards. They both live in separate worlds, normal and rare." Others seemed to agree as they nodded there heads, thinking to themselves.

"Yes, exactly." The Watcher confirmed. "We are going to venture into the Omniverse to witness an alternate of the world I primarily watch: The Marvel Universe." The Watcher closed his hand, satisfied that his explanation was understood.

While the audience naturally didn't know anything about these other worlds, the term Marvel being used to describe this world, as well as the fact that it was Uatu's primary source of entertainment likely meant that it was exciting.

"This is a universe of heroes, villains, and ordinary people, but instead of watching the main world, we will be viewing an alternate one. This is Earth-50701, or the Imperfect Universe."

"Sounds exiting!" Neo signed.

"Imperfect?" Salem questioned. "Don't tell me, this world will be the site of a catastrophe."

"Yes, but more importantly, this world's fate is a lesson that as great as you beings of great power, you heroes and villains who have surely fallen into the history of your world forever because of your conflicts are, sometimes it is better to make peace with your enemy, lest something else more," Uatu paused. "...indiscriminate, takes everything away from all of you."

Something more "indiscriminate"? Just what were they about to watch?

"Let us watch, the horrible events that took place, in a place called; New York City, in the United States of America, on planet Earth."

The screen came to life, showing the dark skyline of New York city behind the Brooklyn Bridge an a police helicopter on patrol with its spotlight on. Walking on the elevated pedestrian walkway was something that shocked the audience: the imposing figure of an humanoid creature, wearing nothing but pants standing at 6'(1.83m). It's was bald, had only four fingers, and its skin was an orange, flexible rock-like hide with no outer ear structure.

"What the heck is that? Some monster?" Oscar exclaimed. The others were shocked as well. The thing(pun intended) looked mean and intimidating. Salem however, wasn't convinced, if the attitude of the calm civilians was anything to go by, that the creature was a foreign entity.

"Its like a big, rock, person." stated Ren.

Neo, eyebrows raised, raised her sign, "That's a big fucking boi!"

Seeing the judgement already being passed, Uatu decided to interrupt."If I may," he began, gathering everyone's attention, "...the entity you are seeing is a man named Ben Grimm" The revelation that the thing onscreen was a person surprised the audience. "An astronaut, Mr. Grimm was one of four people who were hit with cosmic rays, altering his body and giving him enhanced strength and durability.

Salem raised an eyebrow. "Cosmic Rays?"

"Yes. Naturally occurring wavelengths of cosmic energy that mutate any life lucky to survive them. After returning, Mr. Grimm, along with his friends became a group of heroes called the Fantastic Four with him in particular becoming known as The Thing. As a result, the fear that arose due to his new appearance largely disappeared from the public."

"Aw," Nora exclaimed, "...he just wants to help people. I like this rock guy!"

"I Wonder how hard he can hit?" said Yang.

"Don't even think about it Yang," Blake interrupted, "You're strong, but he doesn't look like a pushover. Looking back to the screen, Blake felt sympathy with Ben. She knew the feeling of being feared based off the appearance after all.

Walking past a man in a suit, The Thing continued walking until an orb-like blast of green energy struck a police car on the lane below to his left, the sound causing some in the audience to jump. Running to avoid the now airborne vehicle, Grimm jumped down to the lane on his right.

"They're being attacked!" said Tai.

"Yeah, but by what?" wondered Qrow. What kind of monster would attack civilians on a packed bridge?

The Thing: "What The?" Looking up, Ben noticed a not-so-friendly sight; two small alien craft in the air coming back to attack the bridge again.

The craft blasted two shots of energy each, pelting the tower of the bridge. The Thing was knocked on his back by the sheer force of the explosions. With the bridge proving to be tough to destroy from the side, a single projectile was launched at a section of roadway, destroying it and cutting off escape for those on the structure.

While surprised by the attack, it became apparent to both Winter and Ironwood that these attackers were smart. Taking out a section of the bridge would prevent land-based military assistance from arriving. The tech also seemed to be too much for any ordinary officer to deal with. If he really was a hero, the only hope for the people on the bridge was Mr. Grimm.

Getting back up in the now rubble-filled environment, Ben slammed his fist down, clearing away the debris in his immediate vicinity. Running towards the action, The Thing punched through a wall of cars that had fallen onto each other. Proceeding to the other side, he met his first enemy.

The skinny creature had green skin. It's body was covered in cybernetic implants and large yellow lights. Two straight spikes for impalement instead of regular arms. This was an Invader.

The appearance of the Invader unnerved the audience. Salem wasn't impressed however, the thing didn't look particularly strong. RWBY and JNPR were both glad they only had Grimm to fight instead of whatever that thing and those flying things were.

The Invader jumped high in an attempt to skewer him. Side-stepping him to the left, Ben threw an uppercut and then a skull-cracking left hook that cracked the Invader's cybernetic eye. Not wanting to waste his time with small fry, Ben grabbed the Invader by the neck and threw him off the bridge, 127 ft down to the waters of the East River below. Grimm jumped back onto the pedestrian area. The path forward was blocked to he would have to jump down into the other lane to continue. Another Invader was beamed down before he could do this however. Not being caught off-guard, Ben knocked the enemy back with a right hook. Getting up, the Invader jumped at Grimm, who simply knocked him back with a forceful clap. Defeated, the Invader's body dissolved into a green acid-like slime. Seeing yet another attacker below, The Thing jumped up and slammed his fists on the ground, knocking it back. picking up a taxi, The Thing threw it at the enemy, killing it. Running to and jumping on the other side of the walkway, The Thing engaged in combat with another Invader. This one was knocked to the ground and quickly dispatched with a single stomp.

"There you go Thing! Break Their legs!" shouted Nora.

"Even though he's more of a brawler,(Yang: "Hey!") he's doing good." Weiss complimented.

"His fighting style seems to mix boxing, wrestling, and even some Jujitsu." said Penny. She'd been analyzing Ben's fighting style to try and know him some more.

"Hmm, he almost fights like you Taiyang." noted Raven.

A wall of debris blocked the path to the rest of the bridge. Ben however, easily knocked it down, but only to encounter a new enemy. Walking forward towards a large lane clearing, The Thing saw a green light beam down a new type of alien. It was bulkier, around Ben's size, and had large curved blades on it's arms. This was a Decapitator. The alien picked up a taxi and tossed it towards The Thing. Ducking under, the New York Native cracked his knuckles and said his iconic line as he prepared to kick the thing in front of him's ass; "Its clobbering time!"

"Hell yeah!" Both Yang and Nora yelled.

"I hope he's careful." Ruby was worried. Mr. Grimm may have been a hero, but he was fighting an unknown enemy with some muscle behind it.

The two rushed each other. Jumping down, Grimm slammed the ground, sending the Decapitator flying with force. Running to the downed enemy, Ben tried to stomp on him but the alien rolled to his right and back-bladed him against a metal cargo box. Noticing the Decapitator pick up another car, Ben steadied himself. The enemy threw the vehicle, but this time, the orange hero caught it and threw it back, hitting the target.

"Nice!" Qrow said.

"For a brawler, he's fighting very well. He almost reminds me of Elm." Ironwood thought to himself.

Getting up, the Decapitator dodged a jab and tried to slice the Thing's skin. This was blocked, though Ben was still knocked back. The Decapitator grabbed him and threw him over its shoulder into a pile of oil drums. As the Alien charged him, The Thing threw a drum at it, the impact causing it to explode and knock the enemy back. the Decapitator still got up, though it was visibly weak in the knees. The invader staggered towards Mr. Grimm in a haphazard attempt to impale him with its blades. Not having it, Ben Grabbed the Decapitator by it's breathing unit and finished it off by choke slamming it several times and tossing it like a Piece of trash.

"Hostile entity defeated." Penny confirmed. "Now Mr. Grimm can hopefully gain some information about why they are attacking."

The Thing approached his downed opponent. "You looking for me?" He picked up the Decapitator and looked into it's eyes. "Hey, look at me when I'm talking to ya, or I'll squash you like a bug. Whaddya want?"

"Nothing." was the surprising answer. "You are not what we want. We will come for you later." The defeated Decapitator dissipated.

A news report flashed onto the screen. "THIS, is a News 12 Special Report." Footage showed the aerial craft attacking buildings indiscriminately as the broadcaster continued. "New York City under attack from unidentified forces! We join Clara Straus live on scene."

The next images shook most in the audience to their core as they witnessed the full impact of the invasion. The feed switched to a news camera with the headline "Midtown Under Attack" where, based on the footage, the cameraman and news anchor were hiding behind a dumpster as a blast rocked the street.

"Jim its crazy out here, I have never seen anything like this!" Clara's voice carried the emotions of fear and well-managed panic." The two rounded from the dumpster, giving the viewers the image of a crater in the sidewalk(with an overturned car next to it). "The streets are filled with debris, there are bodies, we're just trying to take cover!"

Clara stopped as the camera veered to the left, giving the audience a view of one of Earth's Mightiest: a man wearing a red-white-and-blue outfit carrying a shield with a star in the middle.

"Whoa, whose that?" asked Ruby?

"That," The Watcher replied, "...is Captain America. One of This world's greatest heroes and leader of the Avengers."

"This is good! If this world's greatest heroes are fighting back the threat, then the aliens are more likely to be beaten back!" Penny stated.

"It's also bad." Blake asserted, "If the best of the best are fighting and barely getting a hold of the situation based on what we're seeing right now, it's likely these alien forces are more than they can handle."

Nobody spoke up. They knew she was right and continued watching to see whether her words were a guess, or a prophecy.

"Looks like we have another shield user." Ren said, comparing the man onscreen to Phyrra and Jaune.

"Hopefully that shield will protect him." Phyrra stated.

"Yeah, I hope so to. I mean its a cool-looking shield, its gotta be good for something." Jaune said.

Apparently in the middle of dodging an earlier blast, the man was launching off of the marble pillar of a burning building. An off camera light -likely another projectile- quickly approached the right side of the camera as the man quickly put up his shield(the last image before the camera jerked down as the news people took cover behind an overturned car).

"Ah! Oh! Did you see that?!" The camera zoomed to the spot where the hero was now absent from, with his shield(that was currently stuck in a pillar) being the only thing left. "Where's Captain America?!"

"Oh shit!" Noe/Cinder signed/read. The death of a hero wasn't something Cinder expected when she chose this universe. Hell, she isn't sure what she expected at all it just looked interesting.

The death of the hero rattled the good guys watching.

"Okay, so, destructible guy, indestructible shield." Nora said, trying to lighten the mood while poorly trying not to make fun of the death.

The camera flickered to show the front of a burning store that had been blown-in. "Oh, this is horrible! The attackers, they seem to be coming out of nowhere!" A sign to the left on the ground that read "New York City was shown on the ground with a large hole burned through upper right section of it.

The camera swung back to the store, zooming in on a broken minigun. A cloth with with a large white skull hung on a piece of rebar around the blast hole, swaying in the wind. "We've had unconfirmed reports that the Punisher is missing in action."

"The Punisher? That sounds like a villain." Ruby said.

"Or an Anti-Hero." Blake added, though with the destruction witnessed onscreen, she wouldn't be surprised is some of this world's villains were trying to fend off the invasion as well, it was their home too after all.

"Or someone super kinky;)" Neo signed, causing Roman to laugh.

"Punisher? Sounds like some of your company, Rae."

"Not in a million years, Little Brother."

"Jim are you getting this?"

"Oh he's getting it alright." Ironwood quietly said, stunned by the desolation of this city.

A bus with a giant blast hole in the middle was filmed by the cameraman before it suddenly jerked left, showing a green, large(bigger than Hazel large), muscular man in purple pants preparing to jump onto a passing alien craft from the roof of a low building. "Is that the Hulk?!" Before Clara could finish, and before the Hulk could even get of the roof, the craft sped up and sharply turned right, ramming the Avenger in his midsection and sending him into a building behind the reporters.

Turning around, the camera caught glimpse of the hole made by the impact in the building to its right. The craft hovered over a pile of rubble for a moment before taking of to wreak more havoc. The camera zoomed in on the only part of the Hulk that was uncovered; his hand. In a scene that disturbed the audience, the Hulk's hand shrank -all while losing the green coloring to a Caucasian color- into that of a underweight, starved individual.

"Hold on! Wait! Hold-" These were the last words heard before the camera failed and the screen went dark. Needless to say, many in the audience were unnerved.

For Emerald, the sights reminded her of her role in the destruction of both Beacon and Atlas. How many people suffered because of her selfish actions? She'll never know. To this day she sometimes finds herself harassed or attacked by people who remember her and her actions. She didn't blame them though. If it was her, she would never be able to forgive. Noticing her discomfort, Oscar placed a hand on her shoulder. "Thank you. I... needed that."

"Brothers, Matchstick, just what kind of fucked-up world is this?" Roman asked.

"What did you call me?!" That shut him up temporarily.

"Man," started Yang, "...imagine if that happened to Remnant."

"Eh, we'll just smash 'em like we do Grimm." replied Nora.

"Well, now that I've seen what I wanted to see, whose next?" asked Cinder.

With no one in particular asking for the remote, Cinder gave it a click, starting the next viewing.
