The toad possessed human being known as Harley Keener was heading toward the secret laboratory where Toadborg and KOMPLEX were located. Harley had just successfully sabotaged Bucky O'Hare's crew by subduing Deadeye Duck, gunner of the Righteous Indignation. A toad spy was told by KOMPLEX to switch bodies with the human being known as Harley Keener in an effort to have Bucky O'Hare's crew to have hatred toward humankind. Harley parked the Toad croaker on the Toad Homeworld. Harley teleported himself and the unconscious four armed duck to the inner sanctum of KOMPLEX's lair. Harley saw KOMPLEX and the yellow and purple cyborg known as Toadborg in thre room. KOMPLEX noticed the human boy standing in front of him.
"Oh mighty KOMPLEX. I have sabotaged one of Bucky O'Hare's crewmates, like you asked. I am having a wonderful time inhabiting Harley Keener's human body." the toad spy said to KOMPLEX.
"Excellent, Mark." KOMPLEX said to the toad spy. The name of the toad spy inhabiting Harley Keener's human body was Mark Wartsburg. "Bucky O'Hare and his infernal crew would never guess that you would inhabit Harley Keener's human body. When Bucky sees that his precious human engineer swapped bodies with a toad spy like you, he'll assume that Harley has been working for me the whole time and he'll kick Harley and his sister out of his team. They'll think that human beings are nothing but backstabbing scum." KOMPLEX said.
The toad spy looked at a screen, which showed Bucky O'Hare being tortured by Toad TV. Bucky O'Hare was in a corridor with the walls filled to the brim with giant TV screens showing various Toad TV programs. Bucky O'Hare stumbled around the room, his hands pressed over his ears. The green rabbit was suffering. The toad spy inside of Harley Keener's human body smiled with glee when he saw Bucky O'Hare suffering like that. Bucky then remembered the mystical gem that Jenny gave him earlier. Bucky took out the gem and it exploded in mid air. The mystical gem destroyed the TV screens. Bucky then continued on his way to defeat KOMPLEX once and for all.
The rabbit ran toward the end of the corridor. He looked up at the screen. An arm literally comes out of the screen and shoots at Bucky. Bucky was shocked. He didn't know whether he was hallucinating or not. Bucky shot at the human arm with his maser pistol. This was a scene from the David Cronenberg movie Videodrome; a movie whose plot revolved a cable TV host named Max Reen who gets introduced to a TV program called Videodrome, a plotless show that dealt with physically torturing torturing people and BDSM. Max soon starts to be obsessed with Videodrome as it began to take over his mind.
Bucky went over to where KOMPLEX and Toadborg were at. He was surprised to see his human friend Harley Keener in the room with KOMPLEX and Toadborg. The human boy had a wicked smile on his face.
"Well, if it ain't Bucky O'Hare. I've been looking forward to seeing you." Harley said to Bucky.
"Harley! What are you doing here?" Bucky asked Harley. What Bucky didn't know was that the human boy who he was talking to wasn't really Harley Keener, but a toad spy that was taking over Harley Keener's human body. Even though Harley Keener looked and acted like his human self on the outside, on the inside there was a toad spy that was in his body who was controlling him internally in his mind. Bucky O'Hare had no idea that Harley had switched bodies with a toad spy the night before.
"Harley Keener is not here right now." the toad spy inside Harley Keener's body said to Bucky.
"So. You and your sister have been working for KOMPLEX the whole time?" Bucky asked Harley.
"Yes. KOMPLEX is my master. He's everything to me. You cannot stop me, Mr. O'Hare. The person you call Harley Keener is in another body. I'm not telling you what body he's inhabiting. That's for you and your crew to figure out." The imposter Harley said.
How dare you betray me and my crew to work for KOMPLEX. You and your sister are out of my team!" Bucky O'Hare said to Harley. Harley just laughed hysterically at the green rabbit's threat. This wasn't Harley Keener. It was Harley Keener physically, but mentally, there was a toad spy who controlled his every move. Bucky didn't know that. All he knew was that the person who he thought was a good engineer to his crew just stabbed him in the back and was secretly working for KOMPLEX the whole time.
Toadborg grabbed a maser rifle and started to shoot at Bucky. Bucky jumped on the brain that was controlling all the satellites to hypnotize the mammals. Bucky deactivated the brian. The satellites that were showing footage of scenes from the movie Videodrome were deactivated, thus returning the mammals brainwaves back to normal. It was during these events that the imposter Harley was trying to make his escape. He sprinted down the maze like corridors of the Toad homeworld. He soon ran into Deadeye, who recently woke up from his little cat nap that the possessed Harley had given him. The last thing that the four armed duck remembered before passing out was Harley covering his beak with some type of rag before feeling his entire body go numb. Or, at least Deadeye thought it was Harley who'd smothered and caused him to pass out.
Deadeye woke up to find himself in the mainframe of the Toad Homeworld. He had no idea how he got there. The duck then overheard Harley and Bucky's conversation over a loudspeaker. Deadeye couldn't believe that someone like Harley Keener would betray and backstab Bucky O'Hare and his crew to work for KOMPLEX. That wasn't the Harley Keener Deadeye knew. The Harley Keener Deadeye knew would never backstab Bucky O'Hare and his crew to work alongside KOMPLEX and the Toad Empire. Or would he? Was Harley pretending to act innocent and kind toward the crew of the Righteous Indignation as facade to hide the fact that he was a toad spy all along?
"What the hell? Why in the hell are you awake? I thought that you'd still be out!" the fake Harley said to Deadeye. The toad spy was surprised how the four armed duck was able to wake up so quickly from the effects of the choloroform. Harley expected Deadeye to be out longer.
"You're the person that knocked me out? Why did you do that?" Deadeye asked the fake Harley.
"I ain't telling you the reason why I knocked your ass out. How does that sound?" Harley said sarcastically to Deadeye.
"You don't talk to my friend that way." Bucky said to Harley.
"I can talk to that four armed freak however way I like. If you don't like it, it's too bad." the fake Harley said to Bucky.
"I'm taking you to the Righteous indignation to interrogate you to see what you did to the real Harley Keener." Bucky said to Harley. Bucky loathed the imposter Harley's behavior toward him and his friend. That was beyond tolerable to him. Bucky walked over to the fake Harley and decided to restrain him. The toad spy inside Harley Keener's body didn't like Bucky touching his body at all. Jenny told Bucky that they've destroyed the sattellite. Bucky was glad to hear it. The green rabbit and four armed duck knocked out the fake Harley and decided to take him to the Righteous indignation for further questioning.
Harley P.O.V.
I cannot believe what's been happening to me. This morning I woke up to find myself not in my bedroom but inside the body of a toad spy. My body felt extremely cold. As if I spent over 14 nights in Siberia. I looked at myself in a mirror to find myself in the body of a toad! This was even worse than the time I'd disguised myself as a toad soldier to secretly infiltrate a mammal slave prison to rescue Bucky a few weeks ago. I almost got shot and killed by Deadeye. Now, I was in the body of an actual toad. I knew that the moment Bucky or any of his crew members saw my toad body, they would immediately start attacking me. I have no idea how I ended up in the body of a toad, but I need to figure out how I ended up in the body of a toad spy before it's too late.
