Karaoke Room

The group of RWBY, Jaun, Pyrrha, Oscar, and Emerald had proceeded into the Karaoke Room. Ren and Nora stayed behind as Ren had found some interesting books on animals and wanted to read them. Of the 8, it was decided through a round of Rock, Paper, Scissors that Ruby and Blake would be the first to go.

"Alright!" Yang exclaimed. "You two barely get any time together, it's gonna be cool to see what you two can do."

"Yeah, I suppose so." Blake agreed.

The two looked around a bit at the massive amounts of selections on the shelves before randomly pulling out a CD labled "Linkin Park: More the Victim. Of course, one can't exactly sing something without listening to it first, so the girls put the disk into a music player, and to keep their choice a surprise to their friends, listened to the song with headphones on. After a few times of listening on repeat, it seemed that they got the hang of memorizing the words of the song(Especially when they started humming as they listened).

"Okay..."Ruby started. "Ready Blake?"

"Sure. Why not? So, what part are you gonna take?" Blake asked.

Ruby took a moment to think it over. "Hmm... I should probably do most of this song and you come in whenever you want."

"Alright. Sounds fine. Never been much of a singer anyways, so let's see how this goes."

Blake walked up to the karaoke machine and slipped the disc inside, causing the song's instrumental version to play. Mic in their hands, the two stood in-place as Electronic/Alternative Rock Music began to play. About to sing for the first time in awhile, Ruby steeled herself.

Ruby: Separate
Sifting through the wreckage
I can't concentrate
Searching for a message
In the fear and pain
Broken down and waiting
For a chance to feel alive

Ruby: Now in my remains
Are promises that never came
Set the silence free
To wash away the worst of me

Ruby/Blake: Come apart
Falling in the cracks
Of every (Blake): broken heart
Digging through the wreckage
Of your (Blake): disregard
Sinking down and waiting
For a chance to feel alive

Ruby: Now in my remains
Are promises that never came
Set the silence free
To wash away the worst of me

Blake: Like an army, falling
One by one by one
(Ruby): Like an army, falling
One by one by one
Blake/Ruby: Like an army, falling
One by one by one
Ruby/Blake: Like an army, falling
Ruby: One by one by one

Ruby: Now in my remains
(Blake): One by one, one by one
Are promises that never came
(Blake): One by one, one by one
Set the silence free
(Blake): One by one, one by one
To wash away the worst of me
(Blake): One by one, one by one

Blake: Like an army, falling
One by one by one
Like an army, falling
One by one by one

Finished singing, the two opened their eyes and couldn't as their friends cheered for the performance. Ruby smiled widely and blushed and Blake smirked and chuckled to herself.

"That was insane!"

"Great work you two."

"Yeah, never knew my little sister was a songbird, hehe."

"More like a professional rocker." Oscar added. "You were good too Blake."

Blake: "Thanks. I Appreciate it."

"Also, that song..." Yang started to mention, "why do I feel like that's a flag."

Silence filled the room as some were confused, while the eyes of the others who knew what Yang was reffering to widened a bit in slight PTSD. Ruby herself was a bit confused until she realized what she meant, smiled, and said:

"Oh, don't worry, I haven't thought about that in awhile, hehe."
