Inside their home in the Johto region was Marie, sporting a pink t-shirt, brown pants and a green apron, as she was looking over the Pokéballs that her and her husband, Adam, were taking care of. As she held and checked off boxes on a paper attached to a clipboard in front of the racks, Adam, dressed in a red t-shirt, blue pants and a similar green apron had entered the room to greet his wife.
"Hey, you ever get around to polishing the Pokéballs?" Adam asked towards Marie as she turned towards him.
"Yeah, got it done an hour ago. The pair of Nidoran we got earlier today actually fell asleep sooner than expected." Marie said with a smile. "How's your job?" She asked.
"Believe it or not, Hoothoot's and Natu's having staring contests while I clean their wings is mildly entertaining. Hehe." Adam said, jokingly.
"That's nothing. You should see what happens when someone leaves us a Heracross and a Pinsir. The "glaring competitions" they have between each other are so intense, you can feel the pressure in the air." Marie said with a smile as she walked over towards the kitchen.
"Speaking of intensity, how's Lopunny doing?" Adam questioned as he followed his wife towards the refrigerator as she opened it and pulled out a container of orange juice.
"She's gotten a whole lot better." Marie said as she pointed towards a window, prompting Adam to walk over and look outside.
"Lop! Lop!" Marie's Lopunny said in a happy manner as she sat on the grass with an Eevee, a Bulbasaur, and a Pidgey as Adam looked on, smiling.
"Glad to see she's alright." Adam said as he turned away from the window to look at his wife, pouring orange juice in a glass.
"Had to scan her Pokéball to see what that kid did to her. Gave her a whole new set of moves." Marie said as she held the glass. "I would never put "Energy Ball" and "Ice Punch" on my Lopunny, that's just silly." She thought, criticizing Carter's choices of moves that he put on Marie's Lopunny while he was in control of her. "I mean, smart thinking to put "Close Combat" on her but that move is only really useful when she's Mega Evolved." Marie continued as Adam made a face at his wife.
"What are you angrier about? The fact that a thieving teenager was using your Pokémon without consent or the fact he altered the moves she could to something you didn't approve of?" Adam said with a smirk as Marie made an embarrassing face.
"I-I mean... Well..." Marie stammered, unable to answer. "Probably should've stopped talking." She thought as she wiped her mouth.
As they talked, a ringing noise started to go off near the computer, catching the pairs attention. Putting down her drink on the counter, Marie walked over to the PC and noticed an icon popped up for an email had appeared on the screen.
"What's up?" Adam asked as Marie moved the mouse and clicked the email, opening and reading it.
"Looks like Keats just sent us a Pokémon." Marie said with a surprised face. "Looks like he has a full team on hand, and he's started catching more." She continued as she moved from the computer to the Pokéball transfer system next to it.
"You sound excited." Adam said as he walked over.
"A little. I'm kind of curious what he sent." Marie said as the transfer system activated with a Pokéball appearing on the slot.
"Alright, let's see here." Adam said as he grabbed the ball and opened it as Keats' Poison and Dark type Pokémon, Stunky, had appeared.
"Stunk-tunk!" Stunky said as Marie and Adam looked down at the skunk-like creature.
"Oh, he sent back Stunky." Marie said as she bent down and pat Stunky on the head as Adam looked over at the computer, clicking on a tracking icon for Keats' trainer card.
"Says here that he has a Cloyster, a Dragalge and one of those "Alolan Form" Raichus now." Adam said as he looked at Keats' current stats. "And it says here he actually won some battles overseas in Alola." He said with a smile as he looked over at Marie, turning backwards towards Adam with an interested gaze.
"Maybe he's taking his frustrations out on the townsfolk." Marie said as she scratched her head.
"Oh yeah, he hates the beach, right?" Adam said.
"No, he hates "the tropics."' Marie replied as she made air quotes with her hands. "He's never let that whole trip to the Orange Islands go." She said as she looked over at Stunky. "I wanted our family to have a nice cruise vacation while I fought the Gym Leaders in the archipelago. Lo and behold, we find out Keats can't handle boats very well." Marie said with a headshake.
"Wonder how he'd do if he rode a seafaring Pokémon?" Adam questioned.
"He'd probably vomit on its face and then the two would crash into a rock." Marie said, jokingly.
"Pfff hehehe." Adam sputtered into a chuckle. "Well anyway, Stunky." He said towards Keats' Pokémon as the Poison and Dark type looked up at him. "You're welcome to go in the backyard with the rest of the Pokémon. Get some exercise and unwind." Adam said as he walked towards the backdoor of the house that led to the ranch area, motioning for Stunky to follow him.
"Stunky!" Stunky said with a nod as he walked on all fours behind Adam as he opened the door to the backyard.
Closing the door behind Stunky, the skunk-like Pokémon walked around in the backyard, looking at all the other Pokémon that was currently in the care of Keats' sister and brother-in-law. Watching from the house through a window, Marie and Adam kept a close eye on Keats' Pokémon before shifting their gaze towards Keats' trailer on the other side of the yard.
"How much you want to bet the little guy wants to go there?" Marie questioned as she pointed at Keats' home.
"One hundred percent." Adam said as he looked on.
"And if he does, he's going to see what that weirdo is doing to his place." Marie thought as she rubbed her forehead in frustration.
Meanwhile, at Keats' trailer, the Cleaner was hard at work fixing up the poorly maintained caravan that his client lived out of. Wearing his normal teal suit, white gloves and white boots, the Cleaner also sported a surgical mask around his mouth and nose to avoid breathing in any foreign particles as his Cincinno was using its white scarf-like fur to dust a table.
"Cinno! Cinno!" Cincinno coughed as it stopped for a moment to wipe its nose.
"Now, now, Cinncino. Don't give up just yet." The Cleaner said as he cleaned plates with a washcloth, placing them in a nearby rack. "Once you're done with the table, we are going to need to check the cabinets to see just how... Dirty... They are." He continued as Cincinno nodded towards its trainer. "Altaria, how's the bedroom coming along?" The Cleaner said as he turned towards the other side of the trailer as the door to the bedroom opened up.
"Taaaarriaaa!" Altaria exclaimed in an agitated tone as its white, cloud-like wings were now incredibly stained with dust and dirt.
"Dirty." The Cleaner said as he looked at Altaria's wings as he walked over towards his Dragon and Flying type Pokémon, pulling out a small vial of cleaning solution from his suit jacket.
Grabbing a tissue and pouring the solution on it, the Cleaner began to wipe down his Pokémon's mucky appearance before they could continue their work. As Cincinno looked on, the chinchilla-like creature watched from the table as it noticed a grimy sock sticking out of a cabinet next to the pantry that was suspiciously pulled inside, confusing the Normal type Pokémon.
"Hmmmm..." The Cleaner muttered as he finished up wiping down his Altaria. "Cincinno, I'm going to go inside the bedroom. You and Altaria start looking around the cabinets." He said as Altaria saluted towards its trainer and Cincinno nodded in response.
"Cinno!" Cincinno said as it hopped off the counter and walked towards a cabinet under the kitchen sink as Altaria joined it.
"Those socks from the other day..." The Cleaner thought as he stepped inside Keats' room, now with a decently vacuumed carpet and newly touched up walls. "Haven't seen them since I started..." He continued to think as he searched around the floor, even getting down to check under the bed.
"Taria?" Altaria muttered as it and Cincinno opened a cabinet door to find a series of pots and pans that belong to Keats, some broken and cracked and others having not been scrubbed down in a good while.
"Cinno..." Cincinno muttered in an annoyed tone as it looked at its fellow cleaning Pokémon. "Cincinno-cinno!" The Normal type Pokémon said in a critical tone towards Altaria as it nodded in response.
Lowering its head and neck down, Altaria proceeded to allow Cincinno onto its body and raised its neck back up. Acting as a stairway for its smaller companion, Cincinno climbed up Altaria and jumped onto the countertop. Pointing at one of the drawers, Cincinno prompted Altaria to open it as the Dragon and Flying type uses its beak to pull open the drawer.
"Cinno?" Cincinno said as it looked in the drawer and found utensils for eating but incredibly disorganized with the spoons and forks mixed together and the knives facing the opposite direction of where the spoons and forks were facing.
"Taria-taria..." Altaria said with a headshake as it and Cincinno looked at Keats' disorderly management of his home.
Reaching over to the drawer next to the utensil drawer, Altaria opened it with its beak once again as the Cleaners Pokémon looked on with bewilderment as they saw a randomly large pile of pirate hats made from sheets of paper. Visibly disturbed, Altaria slowly closed the drawer as Cincinno continued to shake its head as Altaria opened the next one.
"Taria?" Altaria said with a confused tone as it and Cincinno looked inside the next drawer.
Inside, next to a pile of portable flash drives and a broken hard drive, was a lone Pokéball. In front of the stray ball was a folded note that Cincinno opened up as the Normal type and Altaria saw that it said, "Antivirus software. Do not open unless malware on laptop."
"Cinno?" Cincinno muttered as the cabinet behind them slowly opened, a large red eye sticking out and watching on.
"Something the matter?" The Cleaner said as he walked back into the middle of the trailer as the cabinet slowly shut to avoid detection. "How are the drawers?" He asked as he approached, looking inside the one his Pokémon were currently inspecting.
Looking inside and seeing the same note, the Cleaner read the note and then looked at the Pokéball before placing them back in their original positions and checked the others around it. Seeing the utensil drawer, he opened it up to see the uncoordinated mess as he grimaced at the sight of it.
"Dirty." The Cleaner said aloud as he proceeded to reorganize the forks, knives and spoons. "Now then, I think that will do for now with the inside of the domicile, let's head outside and-..." He said towards his Pokémon as he turned around to prepare to leave until he stopped and turned to look at something that perplexed him ever since he started his job.
Staring at the door to the bathroom, the Cleaner proceeded to remove his white gloves from his hands and then took out a new set of gloves to put on. Approaching the door, he rubbed his chin as he looked at the door.
"Hmmmm..." The Cleaner mumbled.
"Taria-ia?" Altaria muttered as the Cleaner looked at his Pokémon.
"...I know I promised the client not to touch the lavatory but... I am curious and my job requires I check every orifice of the home." The Cleaner said as he eyed the door, noticing its oddly old keyhole. "It requires a key from the outside..." He thought as he walked back into Keats' room and checked a drawer.
Looking for a key, the Cleaner noticed a golden keyring that had a massive myriad of keys attached to it, the top of the ring having a tissue draped over it. Noticing a separated portion of the ring, he saw the key that closely matched the one for the keyhole close to the gap, removed it from the keyring and then shutting the drawer.
"This should be- hmmm?" The Cleaner said as he picked up the key and turned around to head in the direction of the bathroom until he heard a noise in the same direction as the drawer he found the key in. "Strange... Thought I just heard something say "kiiiii."' He thought as he turned back before walking towards the bathroom, ignoring the noise as the drawer rattled a little without the Cleaner noticing.
Inserting the key in the hole, the Cleaner unlocked the door as his Pokémon stood behind him. Unsure of what to think, the Cleaner made a face of determination and proceeded to slowly open the door.
"How dirty are... You?" The Cleaner said until him and his Pokémon looked on at a surprising sight.
Behind the door was a relatively small bathroom with white tiles that consisted of a toilet, a sink and a shower with a sliding door. Shifting their eyes from left to right, the Cleaner and his Pokémon were surprised as they noticed the relatively decent state of the lavatory.
"My, my..." The Cleaner said to himself as Cincinno walked into the bathroom.
"Cinno?" Cincinno said as it opened the sliding door to the shower and noticed some dust build up. "Cincinno-inno." It said as the Cleaner approached and examined the inside.
"Not much usage out of this space... Now why was it locked?" The Cleaner said as he motioned for Cincinno to exit the shower as Altaria looked inside a cabinet underneath the sink, finding towels and unopened shampoo bottles. "There's dust but the majority of this room is clean... But how?" He questioned as Cincinno continued to look around.
"Cin-cinno?" Cincinno said as it turned its head towards the latrine, confused as it noticed something odd.
Noticing the toilet seat had opened slightly and then quickly shut itself, Cincinno made a surprised expression as it started to believe it and the others were being watched. Now growing concerned, the chinchilla-like Pokémon walked forward towards the toilet and then turned towards the Cleaner and Altaria.
"Cinno!" Cincinno said, catching the Cleaners attention.
"Hmmm?" The Cleaner muttered. "What is it, Cincinno?" He asked as he approached.
"Taria?" Altaria mumbled.
"Something wrong with the toilet?" The Cleaner questioned as he motioned for Cincinno to get behind him. "What's under here, I wonder?" He thought as he stretched out his hand.
Putting his hand on the toilet seat, the Cleaner quickly lifted it up and then was taken aback as something unusual had occurred. Popping out slightly from the seat, a tightly squeezed blob of purple with tiny red eyes, puckered lips and two yellow feelers in the shape of a moustache had appeared as the Cleaner and his Pokémon were staring at the creature, wide-eyed.
"Swaaaaa." The purple blob muttered as the Cleaner and his Pokémon continued to look at it.
"Venonat!" Another voice said as the Cleaner and his Pokémon turned around to see another unfamiliar creature.
Behind them was a purple, round and fuzzy creature with long feet, feelers on its head, small hands, two large red eyes and a few socks dangling off its body. Surprised by the sudden appearances of Pokémon that he didn't expect see inside the trailer, the Cleaner looked at the creature in the doorway and then at the creature in the toilet.
"Dirty." The Cleaner said as two creatures made angered faces.
"Nat!" The round purple creature muttered as it shook its body, a purple haze of poisonous gas exiting its fur into the air.
"Swaaaa!" The blob in the toilet exclaimed as the toilet started to crack from it violently shaking.
"That's "Poison Powder!" Both of you, cover your faces!" The Cleaner shouted in surprise as he lifted up the side of his coat to cover his mouth and nose.
"Cincinno!" Cincinno muttered in surprise.
"Altaria!" Altaria exclaimed as it and Cincinno covered their faces to prevent inhalation.
Grabbing his Pokémon, the Cleaner rushed outside of the trailer as the Pokémon in the backyard turned their heads to notice a ton of highly poisonous smoke was escaping through the windows and the door of Keats' trailer. Overhearing the coughing coming from the backyard, Marie and Adam quickly rushed out of their house.
"What's going on?!" Marie said as she looked at Keats' home and the Cleaner coughing with Altaria and Cincinno now on the grass, coughing up purple bubbles from being poisoned.
"Altaria, Cincinno. Take out your Pecha Berries!" The Cleaner ordered as Cincinno and Altaria reached behind their backs, pulling out pink heart-shaped Berries with green leaves at the ends and eating them quickly as he removed the surgical mask from his face before placing it in his pocket.
"Cin... Cincinno." Cincinno said with a calm tone as it and Altaria stopped coughing bubbles.
"Altaria!" Altaria said with an angry expression on its face as it looked at the trailer.
"Hey!" Adam said as he and Marie approached the Cleaner, catching his attention.
"Seems I have hit a bit of a snag." The Cleaner said as he pulled out a lint roller and cleaned off his suit.
"What's that supposed to-" Marie asked until suddenly being cut off by a shattering sound.
Hopping out of the trailer was the round purple creature with red eyes, making an angry expression in the direction of the Cleaner's Pokémon. Following behind it was a very large blob with tiny hands and a series of black diamond designs that were around its body as it squeezed its large frame through the door.
"A Venonat?" Adam said with confusion.
"And a Swalot?" Marie said, equally surprised.
"Swaaaa!" Swalot shouted loudly as it opened its massive mouth.
"Nat! Nat!" Venonat exclaimed as it jumped up and down.
"They seem rather mad..." Adam said as he looked on.
"That Venonat had socks on it... And that Swalot was in the bathroom..." The Cleaner said with serious eyes.
"...You mean the socks you said were "moving on their own?"' Marie said as she looked at the Cleaner.
"And the locked bathroom Keats told everyone not to enter?" Adam questioned as the Cleaner took out a cloth to wipe his nose.
"...I'll admit, I got too curious." The Cleaner said as he bit his lip in frustration as he took out a small book of Pokémon information and skimmed through it to find the PokéDex information on Venonat and Swalot.
'"Venonat, the Insect Pokémon, a Bug and Poison type. Its eyes function as radar units. In a bright place, you can see that they are clusters of many tiny eyes."' Adam said as he read off the book in the Cleaners hands before switching over to Swalots entry after flipping pages.
'"Swalot, the Poison Bag Pokémon, a Poison type. Its powerful stomach acid is capable of digesting almost anything. The one thing in the whole world a Swalot can't directly digest is its own stomach."' Marie said as she read off Swalots entry as The Cleaner put away the book of info.
"Swaaaaa!" Swalot exclaimed as it took in air. "Lot!" The Poison Pokémon said as it swallowed the air and its body glowing for a brief moment.
"That looked like "Stockpile."' Marie said as she looked on with Adam.
"Of course, you'd know all the moves." Adam said with a wry smile towards his wife.
"Guess I have no choice." The Cleaner said. "Altaria, Cincinno." He said as he caught his Pokémon's attention. "We're taking a break from cleaning to battle. Be careful, you both already used up your Pecha Berries." The Cleaner said.
"Cincinno!" Cincinno said with a ready expression.
"Altaria!" Altaria exclaimed as it flapped its wings, heading into the air.
"We can't use "Earthquake" this time or we'll be undoing all the work we've done the past few days. Have to end this quickly." The Cleaner thought as he looked up at his Altaria. "Altaria, use "Perish Song" on Swalot!" He ordered as Altaria breathed in.
"Allllltaaaarrr!" Altaria screamed as sinister-looking musical notes emerged from its mouth in the direction of Swalot.
"Venonat!" Venonat exclaimed as it jumped in front of Swalot, raised its tiny hands slightly and its eyes glowed as a series of green colored energy waves escaped its body.
"That's "Bug Buzz."' Marie thought.
Colliding with one another, the "Perish Song" connected with the waves from "Bug Buzz," cancelling out one another. As Cincinno looked on in surprise at its partners failed attack, Swalot opened its mouth and used "Stockpile" once again as it inhaled and glowed.
"It's doing it again... But is it going to use "Spit Up" or "Swallow?"' Marie thought as she watched the battle before turning towards her Lopunny, who was approaching with a concerned expression.
"Lop!" Lopunny said as she looked at the antagonistic Swalot and Venonat.
"No, don't." Marie said as her Normal type Pokémon looked at her. "Go protect the others." She said as Lopunny nodded before heading back in the direction of the other Pokémon in the backyard.
"Swaaalot!" Swalot bellowed as Venonat proceeded to rush at Cincinno.
"Venonat!" Venonat exclaimed as it proceeded to throw its body against Cincinno, knocking into the Cleaner's Pokémon.
"Cinno!" Cincinno grunted as it was knocked onto its back.
'"Tackle."' Marie thought as Cincinno got back to its feet as Venonat rushed back towards Swalot.
"Guh! Altaria, use "Dragon Breath!"' The Cleaner ordered as Altaria breathed in.
Letting loose a torrent of green air from its mouth in the direction of Swalot, the Cleaner looked on as Swalot was hit by the attack. Holding its ground, Swalot looked on with an unphased look in its eyes as Adam and Marie watched it proceed to breath in and used "Stockpile" a third time.
"Cincinno! Use "Focus Blast!"' The Cleaner said as the chinchilla-like Pokémon put its tiny paws together and formed a blue orb between them. "Maybe a more super effective attack will work..." He thought.
"Cincinno!" Cincinno exclaimed as it launched the blue orb at Venonat.
"Vennnooonaatt!" Venonat yelled as it jumped to the side to dodge the Fighting type attack as it flew past the Bug and Poison type and headed straight for Swalot.
"Swaaaa!" Swalot exclaimed as it was hit by the super effective "Focus Blast," dust kicking up and leaving bruises on its blob-like body. "Walotwa!" It said as it proceeded to glow as its cheeks welled up.
'"Swallow."' Marie said as the Cleaner turned his head towards her.
Swallowing the built-up energy it had been storing, Swalot had suddenly glowed with a clear aura over its entire body and its bruises starting to fade. After healing, Swalot opened its mouth once again and proceeded to fire off a multitude of sludgy pellets skyward towards Altaria.
'"Sludge Bomb."' Adam said as he examined the fight as Altaria was hit by the Poison type attack, getting knocked out of the air and falling back down to the ground.
"Wawawa!" Swalot said angrily as it proceeded to jump high into the air.
"Altaria!?" Altaria exclaimed as it looked up and saw Swalot falling straight for it.
Pressing the bottom of its blob-like body and its full weight on top of Altaria, the Dragon and Flying type Pokémon was crushed underneath Swalot and causing the ground to crack. Shifting off the cloud winged creature, Altaria's eyes were now swirling, signifying it falling into a state of unconsciousness.
"Oh no!" The Cleaner exclaimed in surprise. "They both must be weakened from all the cleaning we've been doing." He thought with concern.
"Cincinno!" Cincinno said in surprise as it looked at its knocked-out companion. "Cinno!" The chinchilla-like Pokémon said with an aggravated face towards Venonat.
"Naaaat!" Venonat exclaimed angrily.
"They don't seem to be happy with us..." The Cleaner said as he recalled his Altaria back into its ball.
"Guess Keats had more Pokémon lingering around the inside of his place." Adam muttered.
"And they don't think they like the fact you cleaned up the home they were squatting in." Marie said as the Cleaner made an annoyed expression at the thought.
"...There was one more thing..." The Cleaner said, catching Marie and Adam's attention. "Inside a drawer, there was a Pokéball that had a note that mentioned "not to open it unless of malware."' He said as he kept an eye on Venonat and Swalot.
"The heck does that mean?" Marie said towards Adam as he shrugged in confusion.
"Cincinno, use "Focus Blast."' The Cleaner ordered as Cincinno proceeded to put its paws close together and generated a blue orb of energy once again.
"Veno!" Venonat grunted as it jumped in the air and proceeded to shake its body.
Emerging from the Bug and Poison type was a series of light blue particles, falling around its Normal type opponent. Breathing in the unknown substance, Cincinno started to feel exhausted as the ball of energy dissipated.
"Ciiiiin... Ciiiiiicin..." Cincinno said as it fell forward onto its belly, asleep.
'"Sleep Powder..."' Adam said.
"And now the coup de grace..." Marie thought as she looked around at the Pokémon hiding behind her Lopunny. "Worst case scenario, I might have to call in a favor to a friend since this guy's Pokémon are almost- oh?" She mentally continued until she noticed a familiar skunk-like Pokémon. "Give me a moment." Marie said towards Adam.
"What'cha gonna do?" Adam asked as Marie rushed towards the nearby cowering Pokémon.
"A gamble..." Marie thought as she was next to her Lopunny. "Hey, Stunky." She said as she bent down towards Keats' Stunky.
"Stunky?" Stunky muttered.
"Those two. Over there." Marie said as she pointed at the angry Swalot and Venonat, thrashing about. "Do you recognize them? Or know them?" She asked towards Stunky.
"Stunktunk." Stunky said with a worried nod.
"Think you can talk to them?" Marie asked as Stunky looked over at its fellow Poison type Pokémon. "Because if they keep this up, who knows what's going to happen to Keats' home..." She said in a coercive tone towards Stunky. "The three of you were all Poison type Pokémon living in his home unannounced, maybe there's some comradery between you... Hopefully." Marie thought.
"Stuuuunk..." Stunky muttered, nervously. "Tunktunk!" He said with a nod and serious look in his eyes as he rushed past Marie and Lopunny as Swalot prepared another attack.
Firing off another "Sludge Bomb" attack towards the asleep Cincinno, Stunky quickly jumped in front to block it. Looking on with surprise as Stunky shook off the goop from his body, Venonat and Swalot noticed the familiar face of a fellow Poison type Pokémon.
"Veno?" Venonat muttered as it approached Stunky.
"Walo?" Swalot mumbled as it shuffled over to the skunk-like Pokémon.
"Stunky-tunk!" Stunky said as the Cleaner picked up his sleeping Cincinno with his hands.
"Rest up..." The Cleaner said as he pulled out Cincinno's Pokéball and recalled his Normal type Pokémon. "What's going on?" He asked towards Adam as Marie approached.
"Keeping you and them from destroying my backyard." Marie said with a disgruntled tone.
"Stunky-tunktunk. Stunky-tunkt." Stunky said towards Venonat and Swalot.
"Swalototot!" Swalot said angrily as it looked at the Cleaner.
"Venonat? Natnat?" Venonat said towards Stunky with a confused tone.
"Stunky." Stunky said with a nod as Swalot looked at Stunky. "Tunkytun. Stunktunk-tunky." The Poison and Dark type muttered as Swalot made a confused expression.
"Venonat... Nat nat!" Venonat said with a contemplative expression before nodding with a content tone towards Stunky.
"Stunk. Stunky?" Stunky said towards Venonat before shifting his gaze towards Swalot, the big purple blob rubbing its face with its tiny nub-like hand.
"Swaaaaalll..." Swalot muttered with an unsure tone.
"Stunky-tunk." Stunky said as he raised his claw in the direction of the trailer. "Tunk?" He continued.
"Swalll..." Swalot said as it looked back at the trailer. "Swalot-swal." It said as it nodded at Stunky with a calmer facial expression.
"Wish Rotom was here to translate." Adam said as he looked on.
"I don't know the specifics, but I am guessing Stunky just calmed down Swalot and Venonat." Marie said as the Cleaner looked at the trio of Poison type Pokémon.
"Maybe Stunky is reminding them that Keats will probably get the place more "habitable" for them when he gets back." Adam said with a raised eyebrow. "Place is probably going to be dirty again, knowing him." He thought.
"Dirty." The Cleaner thought before turning towards Marie and Adam. "It would appear I need to leave for a moment to go to the Pokémon Center to heal up my Pokémon. May I leave them to you?" He said towards Marie and Adam.
"Works for me..." Marie said as she rubbed the back of her neck as the Cleaner walked past her.
"A part of me is glad he is leaving early..." Adam whispered towards his wife.
"Still going to be here for a large chunk of time while Keats is in Alola." Marie said as Adam rubbed his head.
"Thanks for reminding me..." Adam replied back.
"Adam, check and see if we have any spare balls." Marie asked.
"Why? You want to keep those two?" Adam questioned.
"Not for me. Since they were in his house, they're Keats' problem." Marie said with folded arms.
"Whatever works. But at this rate, we're going to need to get an extension for the yard for Keats' Pokémon not to cause a ruckus with the clients Pokémon." Adam said as he walked back towards the house.
Turning to look at Stunky, Swalot and Venonat, she breathed a sigh of relief as she saw the three Poison type Pokemon were chatting amongst themselves. Raising an eyebrow, Marie turned towards Keats' trailer and grew curious as she walked over to it.
'"Malware?"' Marie thought as she walked inside and over to the drawer that contained the Pokéball and the note that was mentioned earlier.
Reaching into the drawer, she pulled out the Pokéball and examined it before pressing on the button to open it up. Emerging from the light from the ball was a floating creature made entirely of pink and light blue polygons as Marie made a surprised expression as she locked eyes with the Pokémon's hexagonal eyes.
"Porrrrryy." The floating creature muttered.
"A Porygon?" Marie said to herself. "I haven't seen one of you in over a decade." She said as she put her hand on its head.
"Goooon." Porygon said.
"...Looks like I need to give my brother a call." Marie thought with a headshake.
Sometime after the battle in the backyard, Marie and Adam took Stunky, Swalot, Porygon and Venonat inside their home and moved them over to the direction of the webcam on the computer. As Adam held Venonat, Marie held Stunky as she clicked on the computer to contact Keats as the husky framed trainer appeared with a woodland background behind him.
"Hey sis, how's the- huh?" Keats said on the monitor until he noticed something unusual as he looked at his older sister. "...Uhhhh..." He said, visibly confused.
"Care to explain?" Marie said as she, Porygon and Adam moved out of the way to show Keats the large Poison type blob-like Pokémon and the other Pokémon, aside from Stunky, that were residing in his trailer.
"Uhhhh..." Keats mumbled again, still unsure of how to react until he shifted his eyes past Rotom's phone body. "Oh look! An abandoned rental car filled with bottled water!" He exclaimed in an interested tone as he ran off-screen.
"Hey! Keats!" Marie exclaimed as she approached the camera as Rotom popped on the screen.
"Yeah, I wazzzz expecting that. Something happen?" Rotom said with an annoyed look on its face.
"Just register this Venonat, Swalot and Porygon to Keats' PokéDex, please." Adam said towards Rotom.
"Huh, zzzzt?" Rotom said, confused.
"And next time Keats catches a Pokémon, tell him to send back Timburr. We have some work in the yard that he could definitely help with." Marie said as she put down Stunky and Adam put down Venonat as he recalled Porygon with its ball and then grabbed two more balls for still wild Poison type Pokémon.
"Don't you guyzzzz want to an update on what's going on?" Rotom questioned.
'"Later."' Adam and Marie said simultaneously.
And I thought Keats being in Alola was a mess, turns out back home in Johto, it's just as discombobulated as an imitation broken glass puzzle. Back in Ecruteak City, Marie and Adam were going about their work as Keats' Stunky had arrived in their home via the transfer system. While they were taking care of their client's Pokémon, the Cleaner and his team were hard at work on the unenviable task of fixing up Keats' mismanaged trailer. After finding some random knickknacks and junk, they were surprised by the appearance of two more Poison type squatters in his home in the form of a Venonat and a Swalot. A pair that wasn't happy about the Cleaners presence in the home and sanitizing the caravan. After a battle that left the Cleaner with almost no Pokémon left, Marie convinced Stunky to stop the other two Poison type Pokémon from fighting and then searched the home to find an uncommon Porygon that was to "only be released in case of malware." Whatever that meant. Now confirmed as Keats' Pokémon, the team has only gotten bigger! How will Keats handle this team? Is there really an abandoned rental car filled with bottled water? Are they still good!? Damn, I'm thirsty!
Keats' Pokémon (on-hand):
