Ok, so I'm gonna address the reviews from the last chapter.

WearyCurmudgeon: True he would be at a disadvantage if he fought the whole team/ The Deal with the council was straightforward, but as for Cinder's deal with Jaune, she is up to something, and it's not good/ As for seeing Pyrrha, we'll see her sooner then you think~!

Sir Lone: Well, yeah it's hard for Jaune to agree to help those who attacked his school and got his friends killed, but he's doing it because he knows it's the right thing to do, (and hey Canon Jaune accepted her into the group freaking quick so... yeah) As for Ilia, I liked her as a character and I wanted to do something with her beside her being obsessed with Blake.

Robbeeyy: We know that Cinder doesn't really care for the others who are with Salem so, yeah, she might want Tyrian dead... that is, if she wasn't helping her reach her goal in a way~

I decided to address these reviews because I felt like it was time to reply to them and give you guys some of my thoughts and answers before keeping you in the dark for a while (which means I won't be addressing the reviews until Chapter 10)

Since the fight with Mercury three days ago, things have actually sort of looked up for the Team as a whole.

Ilia and Jaune have become fast friends and Ilia has seen that Jaune isn't like other Humans and has come to respect him both as a leader and a friend, and also helps him deal with the other teammates. As for the others, Jaune was able to see what they could do in a fight and has formed some plans for how their team should operate when out on missions.

Mercury actually listens to Jaune now and even follows his orders during training as a team. Even though he still acts like a bit of a jerk to Jaune, Jaune has a feeling that he's only being playful, and while they haven't had their rematch yet, both are eager to fight once more.

Neo listens to him but disappears and makes Jaune and Ilia look for her, but thankfully she hasn't gotten into any trouble... that they know of. Thankfully, she's acting playfully with them, and Jaune even thinks that she's come to like him a little.

As for Emerald, well, while she's cooperative during training, she doesn't listen to Jaune or try and get to know him as well as Ilia. Jaune has even caught her glaring at him for a bit before looking away. Even Mercury has told her to ease up, but she doesn't listen to him either. Jaune needed to figure out how to at least get her to relax and come to at least an understanding.

But for Now, Jaune was dealing with another more important Issue. Right now he was asleep, and in his inner world/soul, he was speaking with Cinder...

In his Inner World, Jaune was back at the table with Cinder, as they overlooked the Emerald forest on the cliff, CInder sat and drank another cup of coffee and looked over the forest while Jaune went to take a seat across from her.

"What is it that you want this time?" Cinder asked as Jaune took his seat, she then looked at him, "I told you everything, haven't I?" she asked

Jaune nodded, she did indeed tell him everything she knew, Salem and Ozpin's war, the Maidens, and Relics, she had told him everything, but he was not here for that. "You did, but there's something I want to know," Jaune asked "Somethings that's been bugging me for a while,"

Cinder looked at him with a raised brow, "Which is what?" Cinder asked

"Do you really believe that I can hold up my end of the deal?" Jaune asked

Cinder smiled, "I do but yet I don't," Cinder said "After all, who's the say this isn't part of Destiny,"

Jaune didn't answer, she had a bit of a point. One of their souls would win over and take over the body, while the other faded, or their souls merged. Who to say this wasn't destiny or fate? Who's to say that the gods weren't writing down his fate as they speak? Was there such a thing as Destiny? Or are fate and destiny just a word people use to set themselves for a higher goal?

"How can I hold up my end of the deal?" Jaune asked, "What will convince you?"

Cinder smiled, "I have a few ideas," Cinder said

"Will you share them with me?"

Cinder shook her head, "No," Cinder said "Not yet at least," Cinder told him

Jaune looked down to the ground as he let out a long and heavy sigh, "Of course..." Jaune said

Cinder smiled, "How good are you at chess?" Cinder asked

Jaune looked at her, "I'm pretty good," Jaune replied, "Why?"

Cinder then created a glass board and glass chess pieces over the table and gave Jaune a smile, "Would you like to play?" Cinder asked

Jaune looked at her and then at the chess board and nods his head. Cinder handed him the black pieces while she used the white pieces. Jaune thought was funny, as, after all, the white pieces made the first move, while the black moved second. As the pieces were set up on the board, Jaune noticed that Cinder had her Queen missing and Jaune had no king piece, which he found was odd.

"I'm missing the King," Jaune said

Cinder shook her head, "No, you're not," She replied with a smile.

Jaune wondered what she meant, but he decided to play along with whatever was going on, he looked back to Cinder, "What about your Queen?" Jaune asked

"I am dead, am I not?" she replied with a smile

Jaune sort of smiled, he figured that she would give herself such a high position, but she also wasn't far off. If she succeeded in keeping Amber's powers, she would have been the most powerful of Salem's followers.

With their pieces set up, the game began and Cinder moved her Knight piece and brought it to the board. Jaune thought it was an intriguing move, but didn't want to send any of his bigger pieces first, so he sent a pawn up to the board.

"A Pawn vs a Knight, eh?" She asked "A very interesting move..." Cinder said

She was about to move her piece but she stopped herself, "I'm afraid we're gonna a have to hold our game for later, it seems it's time for you to wake up"

"Really?" Jaune asked

However, before she could respond, Jaune woke up as he could hear his alarm going off at the correct time of 9 O'clock. Jaune sat up and found himself back in his room, across from him he saw Mercury was shifting in his sleep, no doubt hearing the alarm, so Jaune quickly turned it off, and then fully got out of bed, he prepared himself to wake up the others. He woke up Mercury first, and the boy reluctantly sat up and groaned as he rubbed his eyes while giving Jaune the bird. Jaune smiled and rolled his eyes as he left to go wake up the girls.

Jaune left his room and went over to the girl's door and first listen closely to make sure they weren't awake and changing. He knocked but heard nothing, so he opened the door and entered the girl's room. He saw Ilia sprawled all over her bed, Neo was snuggled up in her blankets, and Emerald... Emerald was gone!

Jaune's eyes widened and he rushed over to her bed to look for a note or something, but there was nothing, he then quickly left the girl's room and looked in the living room for any sign of where she would be, but no note. Same for the kitchen, Jaune went over to the restroom only to hear nothing as well, however, when he walked in, he could feel it was a bit humid inside of it, meaning she must have used it before she left for where ever it is she went.

Jaune groaned in frustration as he unlocked his scroll. Thankfully, before giving them their scrolls, Ozpin had installed a tracking device inside of them and gave Jaune the app that would show their scroll location. When Jaune opened and looked for Emeral's green tracker, he saw that she was near the cliffside.

'What the hell is she doing there!?' Jaune asked himself with

He quickly went back to his room to get dressed as he needed to go and get Emerald. Whatever she was doing, hopefully, it wasn't anything bad.

Emerald sat near the edge of the cliff as she looked over the forest. Tears fell from her eyes as she looked out to the distance.

"Why damn it!" She cried softly "Why is it that everyone leaves me!"

More tears fell from her eyes as she remembered her past. Before she was even born, her father had left her and her mother to fight for their survival in the slums of Vale. When she was 6, her mother passed away from an illness, and then Emerald was on her own until her teacher and mentor found her. He taught her how to fight, steal, cheat, and lie, how to survive with what she had, and how to use her semblance, but then he vanished without a trace. For a while, she was on her own... until Cinder found her, but even that didn't last long.

Now she's stuck with that blonde idiot! The fool whose partner took the last person who cared about her! Damn Nikos! Damn her! Damn her partner!

"Why damn it... Why am I the one always stuck being alone...?" She sobbed as she hid her face in her hands.

"Emerald!"

Emerald looked up and turned her head to see her new "Leader" running up to her. Her sadness turned to anger as she wiped her tears away and then stood up and glared at the blonde. "What the hell are you doing here Arc!?" Emerald cried

"I could be asking you the same thing!" Jaune cried as he approached her, "What the hell were you thinking!? Running off without telling us where you went!?"

"I don't need to tell you where the hell I'm going! You're not my damn babysitter!" Emerald cried

"Yeah, I know that! But I am your leader-"

"Yeah right! You couldn't lead anyone! What happened to your old team huh!? Why aren't you leading them!?" Emerald asked "Where's Nikos huh!? Valkyrie!? Lie!?"

Jaune lowered his head and stood silent.

Emerald glared at him, "Oh! That's right! Two of them are dead and one abandoned you!" Emerald cried "And where's Ruby and her friends huh!? Nowhere! Face it Arc! You failed your team... and everyone's abandoned you," Emerald said

Jaune didn't look at her as his fist balled up. Emerald was pleased with herself, she knew what she said was too far, did she regret it, a little, but it felt good just to let her anger out, even if it wasn't right.

"My~ My~ My~ What do we have here~?"

Jaune and Emerald turned to the cliff's edge only to see a man. He had gold eyes and a brown braided ponytail, and he wore a brown open overcoat, exposing his bare chest, which is crisscrossed with prominent scars, on his feet were leather boots that covered his entire shin with knee guards.

This was, of course, Tyrian Callows.

"Who are you?" Emerald asked

Tyrian widened his eyes as a smile crossed his lips, "Oh dear, where are my manners! Tyrian Callows is my name," Tyrian told them "I am a humble knight in the service of my Queen~!" Tyrian said

Jaune eye's widened as he quickly realized who Tyrian was talking about and Jaune quickly put his hand on Crocea Mors and drew it while activating his Shield, "You work for Salem," Jaune said with a distasteful tone.

Tyrian looked at him again and smiled, "Ah... so you know of my Queen which means you must be a Pawn of Ozpin," Tyrian said

Jaune glared, "I'm no one's pawn!" Jaune stated

Emerald realized what they were talking about, she had a horrible feeling if this guy was here and if Salem sent him here... it couldn't be good.

"Why are you here?" Emerald asked him

Tyrian turned to her, still smiling, "Why, for you and The boy," He told her, "you know too much and my Queen wants you to be silenced, which is why I'm here,"

Emerald unholstered Thief's Respite and aimed them at the Faunus, and gave him a glare, "I'd like to see you try," Emerald told him

Tyrian smiled, "Well then... let's get started,"

Tyrian threw his coat at her, only for him to jump over her and get behind her, his bracers then unfolded blades from them, and his eyes turned purple and his hands glowed purple. He tried to swing at her, but Jaune pushed her out of the way and blocked his attack with his shield. Tyrian moved back after his first attack failed and looked at Jaune with a crazed smile.

'His eyes are purple and so is his hand... it has to be something with his Semblance,' Jaune said

Tyrian charged at him, and Jaune prepared for another attack. Tyrian swung at him but Jaune deflected the blow with his shield, and then Jaune swung Crocea Mors at Tyrian but he ducked, and then got back up and slashed at Jaune's arm, but thankfully, his Aura protected him. When Tyrian missed his attack, Jaune stepped out of the way and Tyrian turned to him only to be shot at by Emerald, causing him to turn to her, he smiled and charged at her, however, Jaune quickly stepped in front of him and bashed him with his shield.

Tyrian stumbled back but quickly regained himself, and in time to dodge another sword slash from Jaune, Tyrian's hand glowed purple and he swiped at Jaune's Aura creating a hole!

Jaune turned to see that there was a gap in his Aura right where his side was and his eyes widened in shock, but it was too late as Tyrian managed to slice him pretty deep along the side. Jaune winced in pain, but he try to hit Tyrian but then Faunus dodged another attack. Jaune Aura repaired itself quickly and began healing the wound.

Tyrian saw this and stopped fighting for a second. 'His Aura managed to close the gap I made rather quickly, not only that he heald rather fast...' Tyrian thought with a smile, "You, the shining knight, what is your name?" Tyrian asked

Jaune was a bit surprised as to Tyrian asking for his name, "Jaune Arc,"

Hearing his name, Tyrian's smile became wider and more crazed, "Hehehehe... Hehehe... AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!" Tyrian laughed, "HAHAHA! An Arc! HAHAHAHAHA! HAHAHAHAHAHA! Another Arc in front of my very eyes! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! OH, HOW EXCITING!" Tyrian cried with glee

Jaune and Emerald were confused as to why Tyrian was laughing when Jaune told him his name, but they were still prepared to fight him again.

Jaune turned to Emerald, "If we have to fight, I have a plan, can you follow my lead?"

Emerald nodded, "Yeah..." she said

Tyrian's laughter died down and he looked at Jaune and Emerald, "Now I don't need to hold back!" He cried with glee, he then unwrapped his tail from around his waist and took a fighting stance, "Shall we continue?" Tyrian asked

Jaune and Emerald took a fighting stance as they prepared for whatever Tyrian had planned or any move he would make. Tyrian watched as they were ready to fight and with his eyes glowing purple and his hands also glowing purple, and with a wicked smile... he charged at them.

How will the fight go down!? Who will win in the end!? Do Jaune and Emerald even have a chance!?

No... they fucking don't :)

I'll be honest with you, the fight will not be shown in the next chapter.

Why? Because the first part of this story isn't about combat, right now, it focuses on the adjustment of (J)EMNI with Jaune being the new leader and the new rules they have to follow as well as Jaune's adjustment to his new situation as well the effect of Nora and Ren's death has on him as well as the feelings of Abandonment that Pyrrha (as well as RWBY) have caused.

So far I have three parts planned out:

The Adjustment period of Team JEMNI is part 1 of the story, this will actually end after the next chapter, as the team has actually come to be formed and somewhat (they'll still be problems within the team in later parts but at least they'll be an actual team).

Then in Part 2, we have what I have called the "King" Part, in it, we have the return of CFVY & CRDL as well as the appearance of another one of Salem's members~! (we'll also have more interactions with the Characters, like the team actually socializing amongst themselves with and without Jaune, as Jaune will be dealing with some backlash from a few Characters... and it's not who you think it is)

Finally, in part 3 we'll have the return of team RWBY! (which let me tell you will really test Jaune's friendship with the others...)

these are the planned-out parts for now, but I plan to make a lot more parts as I want to touch on certain members' pasts, such as Mercury's and Emerald's past, and maybe we'll even get to see Jaune's family...?
