Ilia and Jaune sat in the living room alone as the others were still trying to process what just happened. Currently, she was bandaging his hands as he just stared at the ground with a blank expression.
Ilia saw this and would admit that she became a little unnerved by how quiet he was.
"Jaune... What happened?" Ilia asked
No reply.
"Jaune?" She called to him "Jaune?"
Finally, his eyes blinked and he was taken out of the trance-like state he was in, he looked up to her, "You say something?" He asked
"I asked what happened," she told him "What happened to you and Emerald out there on the cliffs?" Ilia asked
"Scorpion Faunus by the name of Tyrian Callows attacked me and Emerald in the cliffs, he has some weird semblance that allows him to cut away a person's aura and cut them at the part he cut away, that's why I'm covered in cuts," Jaune told her "As for why he attacked, he said he was after Emerald and Mercury, and if I had to guess, it's because they knew too much about what was really going on behind the scenes,"
Ilia looked at him with a raised brow, "What do you mean?" She asked him
Jaune didn't answer for a few minutes and then let out a sigh, "I'll explain soon enough, but not now... I need to make sure of something," he told her
"Make sure of what?" Ilia asked with a raised brow
"I have to make sure that we got some allies of our own," Jaune told her,
Ilia was now more confused, "Allies for what?" she asked, "Jaune, what the hell is going on?"
"As I said, I'll explain everything soon," Jaune told her, "Once I tell you, Neo, and Mercury what's going, and if you three as well as Emerald, agree to go along with that I plan on doing, then We're gonna need allies,"
Ilia looked at him and saw both the fire of anger and the fear inside of his eyes, and it worried her, she had figured out that Jaune had already been through a lot, and this, the attack at the cliffs, it pushed him farther. It worried her because she knew that everyone had a breaking point, and it was either good or bad, and while Jaune hadn't hit his breaking point, she was afraid that it would be on the bad side...
It's now been three days since Tyrian attacked him and Emerald.
Jaune's been healing naturally, with some help from his aura but none of the deep cuts were healing as fast as the small ones. Things were still rocky between him and Emerald but at least she seemed to ease up on him, but there was also tension in the air between her and Ilia.
However, that's not the worse thing on his list of things to worry about.
Cinder has been quiet since Tyrian attacked. This worried him as he had no idea what she was doing, but Jaune knew that it wasn't good.
But for now, he also needed a worry about what might be going on with his team, or at least what will happen between him and Emerald and Emerald and Ilia.
For now, Jaune was at a local blacksmith shop and was looking over the designs Jaune and His team had come up with for a New version of Crocea Mors, the sword part of it. While the blade was still intact, Jaune had come up with an idea to get Crocea Mors an upgraded look and function, not only that, but he also need a new set of armor.
"How much is all this gonna cost me?" Jaune asked
"Well... The Modifications to your weapon won't be easy and will at least be around 500 Lien, as for your new set of Armor, I got some similar designs, I can reforge them and you can just buy them off me for let's say... 200 Lien?"
"Is this all 700 lien?" Jaune asked
The blacksmith nodded, "Yeah, sounds about right," he replied
Jaune let out a sigh, he had most of the money to pay for everything thanks to the missions he and his old team had done. "Alright," he said
Jaune used some of the money he had saved up and paid for the repairs/upgrades. The Blacksmith told him he would notify him when the repairs were done, and Jaune thanked him before making his way out of the shop. As Jaune left he winced a little bit as his arms and sides felt sore, despite his Aura, the wounds Tyrian had given him had begun to heal naturally but they still hurt and stung.
Jaune regained his composure only to hear a familiar voice
"Jaune? Is that you?"
Jaune turned around only to see two people he had not expected to see so soon and together. Standing across from him were Velvet and Cardin.
Jaune's eyes widened as he saw the two, "Wh-What are you two doing here?" Jaune asked them
"Our teams got back from our mission, Cardin and I were just looking around," Velvet asked "What are you doing in Vale?"
"Repairs for my sword and armor," Jaune said
Cardin looked at him with a raised brow, "You're still a huntsman-in-training?" Cardin asked
Jaune turned around and glared at him, "Yeah, You got a problem with that Cardin?" Jaune asked with an angry tone
"No, but I'm just surprised that Ozpin allowed you to continue to attend Beacon after... you know..." Cardin began
Jaune sighed, "I know..." Jaune said "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to seem upset, I just... I've been through a lot these past couple of days," Jaune said
"That's understandable..." Velvet said "You've lost a lot," She said
Jaune sighed once more and nodded, and then he realized something that instantly worried him, "Wait, Velvet! Is your team at Beacon now!?" He asked
She nodded
"SHIT!" Jaune cried "Both of you come with me! Now!" Jaune told them
He then began running back to the Bullhead docks with Velvet and Cardin running behind him. Both were confused about what was happening and why Jaune suddenly worried.
"Jaune? What is going on?" Cardin asked
Jaune took a quick look at them and then turned back, "Listen... There is something you should know about my new team..." Jaune began

Mercury continued dodging the bullets that were flying his way. He had just walked out to get some fresh air only to be confronted by Coco Adel and Yatsuhashi Dachi, the two 2nd year students who he and Emerald beat in the festival. Without even saying a word, Coco unleashed her weapon on him and began firing at him in the courtyard.
"Will you stop moving around!?" Coco cried
"Your shooting at me!" Mercury cried back as he dodged her bullets
Coco glared and kept unleashing ammo on the silver-haired teen. "What the all are you doing here you live if shit!?" Coco asked, "Why the hell are you not rotting in a cell!?"
"If you stop freaking shooting at me I can explain!" Mercury cried
"COCO! STOP!"
Coco turned to her right only to see Velvet running with Cardin and Jaune. She was surprised to see Jaune was still at Beacon
"Arc?" She asked
The three reached her and the rest of Team CFVY. Jaune pushed the barrel of her weapon down and glared at her.
"What the hell do you think your doing!?" Jaune cried
"What am I doing!?" She asked with an offended look, "Do you not see who I was shooting at!?" She cried
Jaune kept glaring at her, "You were shooting at my teammate" he said coldly
Coco's eyes widened with shock when she heard those words leave the blond's mouth. "Teammate?" She asked, she then glared at him, "Arc... What the hell are you talking about? How in the hell is he your teammate?" She asked him
Jaune stayed silent for a moment and he closed his eyes and let out a sigh, calming himself down before he opened them and looked back at Coco, and then at Mercury and knowing that he was going to be exposing the truth to Mercury. "Ozpin and I made a deal with the courts... Mercury, Emerald, as well as two others called Neo and Ilia would be paroled here at Beacon with me leading them..." Jaune said
"So Ozpin forced you to lead them?" Coco asked
"No, It was my choice," Jaune said
Coco glared at him and balled her fist, "You... You... SON OF A BITCH!" she cried, she swung at Jaune and gave him a hard right hook.
The punch caused the boy to stumble to the side and fall to the ground, he immediately felt light-headed and felt his entire world spinning.
"Jaune!" Velvet cried as she rushed over to him as did Cardin and Mercury.
"You a dumb son of a bitch Arc! You willing took the job of leading and making sure these assholes somehow change!?" Coco yelled at him "Have you forgotten what the hell they've done!? They destroyed our school! Are accomplices to over a hundred deaths! You're a damn traitor, Arc!"
Hearing this, something inside of Jaune clicked, Jaune glared at her and a fire burned in his eyes. He quickly got up and glared at her and when Coco saw his eyes, she could have sworn they slightly changed color for a split second.
Jaune walked over to her and glared at her, but then he just walked away from her not saying a word. Mercury followed after him while Cardin and Velvet watched him walk away.
"What the hell is wrong with you Coco!?" Cardin cried
Coco turned to him and glared at him, "Excuse me?" She asked "Are you, you of all people, really trying to defend his dumb decision!? Or what the hell he's done!?" Coco said
"Yeah," Cardin said
Coco scoffed, "Guess it's true then, Trach sticks with trash"
"Coco!" Velvet cried with a glare
Cardin glared at her and raised a brow, "What the hell does that mean!?" Cardin asked
"You know exactly what that means Winchester!" Coco said as she pointed at him
"Hey! I Changed alright! I apologized for the stupid shit I pulled back then!" Cardin yelled
"Yet here you are defending someone who brought the enemy into our school!" Coco told him
"Jaune had his reasons!" Cardin said
"Oh yeah? What reason does he have for bringing in the enemy? For bringing in the people that destroyed our school? Got fellow students killed? Unleashed terror into our home!? What fucking reason does he have for bringing in scum like them!?"
"THAT'S ENOUGH!" Velvet yelled, she then stepped in between the two of them, "Coco, go cool off, same for you Cardin," Velvet told the both of them
Coco growled and stomped away, while Cardin kept glaring at her before taking in a few breaths and also leaving.
Velvet watched as the two of them split up, and let out a large sigh as she rubbed her temples.
Fox approached her and rested his hand on her shoulder. "Things got a lot more complicated Vel, and right now, I got a feeling it's gonna get worse,"
"I know..." She said with a sad tone
"Jaune tell you what happened while we were gone?" Fox asked
"Sort of, yeah," Velvet replied
"Then fill me and Yatsu in while we head back to the Dorm," Fox said
Velvet nodded as she, Fox, and Yatsuhashi, made their way back to the dorm. As Velvet walked and talked, her mind also became a little preoccupied with how this was gonna affect Coco, Cardin, and Jaune... Worse, how was team RWBY going to react to this when they got back?

What does Jaune plan on doing? How will Coco deal with this? Where is Cinder? And what is happening with Jaune?
I am sorry that the chapter was short, but this is how the chapter was planned, I thought it would be longer but this is how it turned out, and I didn't feel like adding on to it because it could harm the chapter if I just add things that are meant for later chapters, so I stopped right here.
