The castle was fairly simple since Olly was no longer attempting to lead them astray. Mario stopped at a bridge with a statue of the origami twins, Olly on the left and Olivia on the right. The statues were cute, but one detail made Mario's stomach twist into knots.

The Olly's left leg was bent out of shape.

The Olivia statue was absolutely flawless. The colors were bright, every fold was done with precise accuracy...Then there was the Olly statue. It was as if Olly didn't care for himself at all. The folds were messy compared to the Olivia and the colors were faded; although Olly's colors were currently faded outside of the statue, so it could've been related to that.

"Big M! Wave of Folded Soldiers at two o'clock!"

The bridge was filled with Folded Soldiers of all kinds, and they were headed straight for the group. Mario hammered the platform until the Olly statue fell off. It crashed against the bridge, sending the Folded Soldiers flying into the abyss below. They went across the bridge.

"Olly hates himself," Olivia told. "Even if he denies it, it still shows through his origami..."

After a little while of walking in silence, they reached a pair of doors that led into a small empty room.

"Is this it?" Bobby asked.

Stephen touched the back wall, the room expanding quickly upon the contact. Everybody screamed and fell once the unfolding was complete. Olly entered from a pair of doors on the opposing side of the room.

He greeted them with another flick of his bangs, revealing his missing eye to anyone who hadn't known before. "Pfah, you are getting on my nerves."

"Not you again!" Bowser yelled, shaking the entire ground. "I said it before and I'll say it again; fold me back!"

"You have no authority over me in here, King Bowser. Here in Origami Castle, the origami folk reign supreme. Plus, you look stupid this way, very embarrassing for you."

Bobby chuckled, receiving a death glare from Bowser.

"Oh, and I want you to meet someone. Someone only Bowser and the Princess know personally."

Bowser raised a brow. "Mario?"

Olly shook his head. "No, but it is a male. Close enough, but you're out of guesses."

"Olly, quit playing games!" Olivia ordered.

"I'm the King, you're just the Princess. Again, I am higher than you."

"You're too stubborn!" Stephen shot back. "And I want to get you back for trapping me in that cactus! That was soo disturbing! Yet, educational..."

Something flew past Olly, landing in front of the group. It let out two loud barks, the floor rattling. It was big and black, with silver under the upper part of its large jaw.

"Th-that's the thing!" Bowser stuttered. "That's the thing that turned me into this! Ooh, you've GOT to win this one, Mario!"

"St-Stapler-!" Bobby screamed.

"You know, I should be used to this by now," Olivia said, "but this one's the most horrifying yet!"

"Meet Stapler, the final member of the Legion of Stationery." Olly held out a hand to the dog. "He's been very excited to meet you all, and transform you into origami for good."

Olivia gasped gently. "Stapler must be the reason that your folded friends can't change back! Ooh, Olly! You're in trouble when we finally reach you!"

Olly was unfazed from the treat. "And I'm looking forwards to showing you how powerful I've become." He turned to leave, raising his hand above his head. "Bind them."

The stapler charged at them, jaws clacking shut repeatedly as he attempted to staple the group to the floor. A few stray staples lie on the ground now, giving Stephen a realization.

"We have to force its staples out!" Stephen commanded.

"I can do that!" Bowser boasted, jumping at Stapler's head. He fell into it, sliding right off. "Ohh, right. No legs."

Mario jumped onto Stapler's head, forcing the dog's mouth shut and sending a staple flying. He repeated that process until Stapler charged again and caused Mario to fly off. Stapler turned towards Mario, energy gathering around him.

"Uh oh!" Olivia said, fleeing from Mario's side. "Don't get stapled!"

Stapler charged, stopping short of the plumber. Mario held out his arms to defend himself as Stapler flopped down to his side. He repeatedly clapped his jaws against Mario until he ran out of staples. He moved away from Mario and opened his jaw fully, awaiting more staples.

"Now!" Bowser shouted. "While its busy!"

They began attacking the inside of the stapler, quickly exhausing the dog. Mario found a Magic Circle hidden in the floor and used it to move them away carefully before attacking. Mario slammed his fists into the dog's open jaw, then grabbed each side of its body.

"Woah, Big M! What are you doing?!"

"Making sure it-a doesn't staple anybody else-a!"

He strained to pull the jaw apart. Something inside of the stapler snapped, and Mario folded the stapler the opposite direction than how it's originally supposed to be. Mario dropped it on the ground as his arms returned to normal.

"Wow! Hardcore!" Bowser cheered. He jolted, then flattened out a bit as the stapler turned to ash. "Aahh, something came loose..."

Mario hammered Bowser, partly because he thought Bowser deserved it for kidnapping Peach throughout the years. Bowser's square self unfolded, revealing his true self.

He stood, dusting the dirt off of his body. "Grahaha! I'm back, baby!"

"Wow!" Olivia gasped. "You're so big and scary!"

"That's right! Your brother stands no chance against me now!"

Going through the door led to a stairway that lead right to another pair of doors.

"If I know evil layers-and I think I do-this should be the final floor, where the throne room usually is." Bowser explained.

Olivia was seated on a bench that was placed before the next half of the flight of stairs. She sniffled quietly, dragging the attention over to her.

"What's wrong?" Bobby asked.

"I'm scared...Olly's so strong now and the only reason I'm still alive is because of all the sacrifices made from all of you." She had her face resting in her hands, bringing Mario back memories from when she had thought Bobby died.

Mario sat down next to her and rubbed her head. "Don't-a worry. We're here for you."

"Yeah, ma'am!" Bobby said excitedly. "You helped Big M so much! And you helped me get my memories back like you'd promised! I'm keeping up my end and helping you stop your brother! He was the reason I'd lost them anyways, so it'd be a win-win."

"Look," Bowser inserted, "I've been stuck as a square all day thanks to your brother, so he deserves a lesson. Plus, I have Junior to deal with. Do you know how hard it is to raise a 'high-energy' child with access to a kart and his own army? Your brother doesn't scare me."

Olivia stayed silent for a moment. "Wow, that really puts it into perspective."

"Hey! Ma'am!"

"Hm? Bobby?"

Bobby shook his head. "That wasn't me, Olivia."

She flew from the bench to find Mizu, Kaaptan Teeowed, the Sea Captain Toad, the Canned Food Par-tay Trio, and others they had helped piling up the stairs.

"Huh?! What are you guys doing here?"

"Helping you stop Olly, obviously!" Sea Captain Toad explained. "He needs payback for folding us and hurting you!"

"He made our trio split!" The Shy Guy stated. "Nobody separates the Canned Food Par-tay Trio and gets away with it!"

Olivia examined the crowd. "Wait, where's the Origami Craftsman?"

The group looked over the crowd.

Mizu shrugged. "Maybe he didn't notice the castle?"

"No way he'd do that! He folded the castle first, Olly just styled it off of his!"

The crowd awed at that fact.

Stephen held up his shovel, it glimmering in the blue lanterns' lights. "Well, what are we waiting for? The more we stand out here, the more the world's folded into origami! Are we going to let Olly beat us? No way we aren't! We're citizens of this world, and we decide who gets to rule us!" He pumped his fist. "For the Mushroom Kingdom!"

"FOR THE MUSHROOM KINGDOM!" The crowd repeated in unison.

"Now let's show that origami pushover who's boss!" Bowser agreed.

They charged up the stairs. Bowser kicked open the door and they stormed inside.

"Game's over, Olly!" Olivia said.

Olly was seated upon a purple throne with deep blue accents on the bottom, and a golden crown atop the back of the throne. He had his leg crossed over the other, resting his head on his hand as it leaned against the arm.

"Took you long enough."

Author note: Stationery (as in the Legion of Stationery) means 'writing paper...' Olly has a sense of humor that's honestly not funny. (That hurt when I found out about that. The poor boy.)
