Myra seduced the guard into bringing her to the Naboo Palace Treasury.
"Good, my little slave." said Rock Heartbreaker. "Now, open the safe."
"Of course, my love." said the guard.
"Don't even think about it!" Qui-Gon exclaimed. "The crown jewels are off limits."
"Surrender now, Rock Heartbreaker!" Carmine said, shouting as his ears were still covered.
"You don't have to yell. I'm right here." said the villain.
"What?" Carmine said.
Rock Heartbreaker shook her head. "I'm surrounded by idiots. Oh, love. These two are trying to stop me."
So, the guard took out his blaster and attempted to strike Qui-Gon and Carmine. But Qui-Gon shot out a protective shield while Carmine went after Rock Heartbreaker, who played a loud rift and blasted him across the hall.
Gabby wrote down everything they knew about the problem. They knew Myra got clavatized when she saw her father proposing to her mother, and there was obviously a reason that upset her. Gabby knew a few kids in school whose parents were divorced or separated, and most of them would give anything to see their parents get back together. And for a few of them, their parents did eventually reconcile after seeing a marriage counselor, and that made them happier than they'd ever been. Myra, however, acted the complete opposite.
For some kids Gabby knew, it was a good thing their parents split, as one of them proved verbally or physically abusive or plain negligent of their marriage and/or the children. But she knew Mace, and although he could be kinda grumpy sometimes, he was still a good guy. He'd babysat her a few times, and he proved he knew how to look after kids. But... Myra did not know Mace like Gabby did. All she saw was a man who gained an iffy reputation as a Jedi and who was never there to raise her, and maybe that was precisely the problem!
"Maybe we're going about this all wrong." Gabby said.
The others were confused.
"What do you mean?" Shmi asked.
"This all started because Myra was angry at Mace. And music is her best form of expression too. She feels unheard, she feels like her truth hasn't been heard or seen, so she plays her music really loud because she feels like it's the only way to get anyone to pay attention. Think about it. When I was smaller, and I was really upset, I would sometimes throw a loud tantrum with a lot of screaming. Or when Boba got upset when the old coach wouldn't let him on the cheer squad, and he started playing his guitar really loudly."
Mace started to think about what Gabby was saying, and it made sense. Most people did tend to get loud when they were angry, and a good hypothesis for why that was might have been because they felt unheard, and they felt that being as loud as possible would make people hear them so they could fix the problem, as well as get that extra energy and adrenaline out.
And Myra seemed to have a lot of rage within her. According to Brenda, Myra had a personality that was a mix of sassy, sarcastic, a lover of trends and rock, but definitely deep when it came to emotions and music. But she was also pretty set once she made up her mind about something; it could be very difficult to get her to change it. That was something she'd gotten from her father, that Mace knew.
When Mace proposed to Brenda, he thought it would be a good solution because he'd wanted to show he was willing and intending to vow to stand by Brenda and have a family with her. Except, from Myra's point of view, it was a way of trapping her with the very cause of so many of her problems, and someone who had it in his head that he could undo the damage by offering material gifts and using other men's daughters as messengers.
Myra wasn't just acting the way she did because she was being a teenager. She felt hurt and unhappy. And she loved her mother so much and was terrified of seeing her get heartbroken a third time. The first was when Mace left her, and the second when Lyle died. No good daughter wanted to see her parents hurt, especially the ones who stuck around and took care of them and loved them unconditionally from day one. And now that she also had a little brother, the last thing she wanted was to see him get his heartbroken by someone he thought was supposed to be a role model for him.
They say you should never meet your hero, and sometimes that proved true. When you meet a celebrity who inspired you to want to do big things and then they turn out to be a sleaze, a liar, and a big-time jerk, your faith in role models can be shaken pretty badly. But when you are betrayed by a mentor or a parental figure, that hurts even more than if it were done by a total stranger.
It was the truth that Mace didn't even know she existed until he met Brenda again, but there was even more to it as to why he never came back, and why he steered clear of his lady love all these years.
Now, Mace started to feel something. Myra didn't need material gifts, ice cream trips, or even a pony. She needed her father, and she'd needed him for years and was deprived for reasons she didn't even realize. Maybe, if Mace told Myra everything and got her to sit down and tell him how she really felt, then she could break herself out of the clavatization. Myra needed her father more than ever now.
No matter how big someone got, parents always held a certain, role in their children's lives and in their hearts.
And now, Mace knew what he needed to do. He got on Strawberry's back, and Anakin came along on Sapphire's.
"To the palace!" Anakin exclaimed, snapping the reins. "Hyah!"
And so, the two Jedi flew on their pegasi to the palace to face Rock Heartbreaker once and for all.
Meanwhile, Carmine fought Rock Heartbreaker with his voice while she continued to make loud rifts on her guitar, while Qui-Gon managed to find a vase with flower and water to splash the guard's face with, breaking him out of the spell.
Carmine held the note for a long time. But even though he sang from his diaphragm, his throat was starting to hurt, and he was running out of breath.
Luckily, Anakin and Mace soon arrived on the horses.
"How long has Carmine been singing like that?" Anakin asked Qui-Gon, seeing his brother's face beginning to turn red.
"At least the last ten minutes." Qui-Gon said.
Anakin was shocked Carmine hadn't lost his voice by now.
"Geez! I can't even hold a note for half a minute."
"Can you worry about your vocal skills later?" Strawberry said.
Anakin used the Force to throw Rock Heartbreaker into the wall, which made her stop playing the guitar, and gave Carmine a moment to catch his breath. Strawberry tried to swoop in and get the guitar, only for Rock Heartbreaker to play another rift and throw her across the hall, landing on a table and knocking down a vase, Strawberry knew was Caroline's favorite.
"Oh, Caroline's not gonna be happy about this." said Strawberry, getting a wet flower from the vase off her nose.
Mace began to approach Myra.
"Myra! Stop this right now!" Mace scolded.
"My name is Rock Heartbreaker!"
"No, it's not! Listen, I'm the one you're mad at, not the royal family. They did nothing to you! If you want to punish anyone, punish me!"
Rock Heartbreaker looked confused now.
"I'm the one you're mad at. I'm the one who wasn't there! I know why you're angry. You needed a father all these years, and I wasn't there to give it to you. I know I said I didn't even know you existed, but that's no excuse for what I did your mother. The last think I wanted was to break her heart, but I didn't think I had any other choice. My duty was to the Jedi then, and I was still a Padawan when I fell in love with your mother."
Mariverde's mark appeared again on Rock Heartbreaker's face.
"Don't listen to him. He's trying to get you away from the jewels you want to take." Mariverde told her.
"But I'm not the one who wants the jewels." said Rock Heartbreaker.
"If you don't get those jewels right now, you can forget having powers. Your father never wanted you. He's afraid of you, just as he was afraid of being committed to your mother all those years ago."
"Myra, please! I know I wasn't there for you, and I wish I had been. Your mother had her heart broken, and so did you! As crazy as it sounds, sometimes those heartbreaks were necessary. If I hadn't left, then you wouldn't have gotten your stepfather, who was there when I couldn't be, and you might not have your brother Kade now. I didn't know your stepfather, but I do know that he showed you the love and care I should have been able to all those years ago."
Rock Heartbreaker seemed to have tears in her eyes as her biological father spoke to her. And no matter what Mariverde threatened, she didn't seem to be listening anymore, especially not after Mace mentioned Kade. Myra loved Kade so much, and it was true. If Mace hadn't left Brenda all those years ago, she would never have met Lyle, and then Kade would never have been born.
"I made a big mistake, Myra." Mace said. "Even though I followed the old Jedi Code and I set myself as a stickler for rules, there were many days I felt regret for having to leave the love of my life. I often questioned why I left her instead of marrying her and starting a family with her. So many times, I hid that I had a softer side because everyone else expected me to be this strong Jedi with no weaknesses. But the truth is, I do have feelings, and so do you. And I hurt those by not being the father you need me to be. I know you're almost all grown up, but if you would give me even half a chance, I'd like to be the father you always wanted, the father you always needed. And, the husband your mother always deserved."
Rock Heartbreaker looked at her father and saw the sincerity in his eyes just before Mariverde appeared again.
"You're not really going to pay attention to that man, are you? Once a man leaves a woman, he gets no second chances. Are you really going to make the mistake of letting him come back when he knew nothing of you?"
Suddenly, Rock Heartbreaker had a new look on her face.
"He did know nothing of me. And you know nothing of me either! My father might not have been here to raise me, but at least he doesn't try to trick me into ruin other people's lives."
And Myra threw her guitar down to the floor as she fell to her knees and transformed back to normal, and so did her guitar, the mariclava flying out.
"Luminesk!" Anakin exclaimed, hitting the butterfly with the spell.
Myra breathed heavily as she was now back to normal. Unlike everyone else who'd been clavatized thus far, she actually remembered what happened, and she didn't like it one bit. In fact, she started crying as she recalled all that happened.
Mace caressed his daughter's face and got her to look at him. He could see more clearly that Myra definitely had her father's eyes. And now they were full of tears.
"I think it's time we finally have a real talk about all this." Mace said.
And, needing someone with a sound mind and a non-biased opinion, they sat in a room with Sapphire as their counselor.
Sapphire had Mace and Myra sit on a couple of beanbag chairs the kids typically used for reading books, and she asked them each to give their sides of the story.
Mace told his side about how sixteen years ago, when he was still a Padawan learner, he'd met the most beautiful girl he'd ever seen while on an important mission, Initially, he followed protocol and tried to ignore his feelings, but then he only felt them calling to him more and more, and the next thing he knew, he was grabbing a smoothie with this pretty girl, and he started sneaking out of the Temple to go dancing with her or sit with her at the library doing more looking into each other's eyes than into their books. And then, they'd gotten a little carried away and slept together once.
After that, Mace realized something he never thought possible. He'd fallen in love. But then, he was caught sneaking back into the Temple by his old master, who was far from accepting of the fact that Mace had formed an attachment, and to a girl, the worst kind of attachment in the eyes of the old code. And Mace was given an ultimatum. Either he continue his studies to become a Jedi night, or be expelled from the order.
Mace didn't know what to do at first. He didn't know where he'd go. He had no way of knowing if his birth family was even still alive, nor did he know where he'd be able to find work. And if he couldn't even provide for himself, how would he be able to provide for Brenda if they decided to get married? It was then, Mace knew he had to do something very difficult.
Brenda seemed so happy when she saw Mace again, and said she wanted to tell him something very important. But Mace told her, "I can't see you anymore, Brenda. My duty is to the Jedi, and I cannot be the man you deserve. I'm sorry." And then he left her and didn't look back. He couldn't bear to even think about how devastated she looked then, but he was filled with regret and heartbreak, nonetheless.
He couldn't sleep for days after that, and spent many nights crying instead. There were even many days when he thought maybe he should go back to her, tell her he still loved her, that he missed her, and ask her if she would have him again. But he kept reminding himself that as a Jedi, he had nothing to provide for her. And over time, it did become easier when he started forcing himself to feel nothing. And the more he distracted himself, it seemed easier to let go. But... it didn't mean he was able to forget. But after years had gone by, he felt sure even if he knew where to find Brenda again, she wouldn't want him anymore, and probably met another man by then.
And six years after he'd left her, Brenda had indeed met another man, giving Myra a new loving father figure, and then a baby brother four years later. But then they lost Myra's stepfather in a terrible accident three years later.
Myra couldn't believe this. She knew Mace left because of his duty to the Jedi, but she'd had no idea that it was so hard for him to do so.
"Okay, Myra." said Sapphire. "Now let's hear your side of the story."
"Okay," said Myra. "Like he said, he never came around again. So, he doesn't know everything that my mom went through after he left us."
Myra gave her side from what she knew both from when she was growing up and what her mother told her happened before she could remember.
When Mace broke up with Brenda, naturally the latter was as heartbroken as the Jedi who left her. She'd just found out she was pregnant with his baby, and he left her before she ever had a chance to tell him. And now she was all alone. She didn't know how she was going to be able to raise this baby as a single mother. Her parents lived too far away for her to afford to travel to them, and her apartment was too small for her to ask them to move in with her.
And, Brenda's parents were very traditional where family was concerned. She was sure they would disown her for getting pregnant out of wedlock, and they would assume it was her fault the baby's father left her. So, Brenda rolled up her sleeve and found herself a second job and began saving up all she could so she would be able to afford all the necessary supplies to take care of the new baby.
Affording rent, food, and baby supplies was a big challenge for Brenda, especially as her pregnancy progressed and her belly got bigger. And not everyone around her was sensitive enough to cut her some slack when her pregnancy made it harder for her to get around, more dangerous for her to lift heavy objects, or when she had odd cravings or needed to sit down.
As time went by, Brenda worked really hard to earn money for herself and to put into her baby's college fund. She did have some help from a few coworkers at both her jobs, but it was nevertheless a difficult job, especially when it came time to have her baby. And in the hospital, she met a handsome nurse named Lyle Dawson, whom she frequently ran into when she began taking Baby Myra in for her checkups.
Then one day, he asked her if she'd like to have lunch with him while Myra was being checked. Though it was only an hour, it turned out to be a great time. Then, one lunch turned into another, and then they started going to dinner and movies together. And as Myra got older, Lyle was around to help Brenda look after her at times. He was there to see her first steps, her first words, and even drop her off on her first day of preschool.
But one day, when Myra was really little, someone came and knocked at the door at her apartment. Brenda answered the door and got scared. And she quickly told Myra to hide in her room. And Myra heard her mom yelling and kicking someone out of the house. She couldn't make out everything, but she did hear the word 'Jedi' coming from her mother's mouth. To make things even stranger, Myra found one of her dolls floating right to her when she reached for it.
Myra remembered learning about Jedi in school. Her teacher had said that they were peacekeepers with special powers, one of the most well-known being the baility to make things float. In a word: telekinesis. But Brenda told Myra that Jedi, though they were people who kept the peace, they weren't allowed to form attachments, as in, they weren't allowed to have families of their own, which was why her father wasn't with them at the time.
"Your father was a Jedi," said Brenda. "He chose to continue being a Jedi long before you were born. He doesn't even know about you."
"Why not?" Little Myra asked.
"I never had a chance to tell him. And even if he could know about you now, he wouldn't be allowed to raise you as long as he's still part of the Jedi Order. Two Jedi came just now, hoping to be able to take you to the Temple to teach you to be a Jedi. But if I'd let them, we'd never see each other again."
Myra gasped when her mother told her that. She couldn't believe that her own fatehr would've chosen a career that meant he couldn't be with the people he loved.
But then, Brenda told her, "I've moved on since then. Now we have Lyle. Family doesn't require blood. It requires love. And Lyle loves you like a daughter of his own. So, in a way, even though you're not related in any way, he's been your father all this time."
"But why are some kids daddies not even related to them?"
That was a very big question from a little kid. It did raise a lot of questions. People who wanted kids had trouble having them, and those who didn't want kids were often the ones who had them, and even stranger, a lot of kids remained in the system because adoption was expensive, depending on the place. That never made sense to Myra. If they're all about helping kids find good homes, why would they make it so loving parents can't afford to adopt them?
When Anakin and Padme adopted Boba, money was no issue, in part because Padme's family was wealthy, and with each half of the loving couple being either a high-class Republic Senator and a renowned beloved Jedi Knight, their status made the process speed up to the blink of an eye. And then when they adopted Omega, despite having to fight in court to strip the Kaminoans' custody over her, the process was pretty much as easy as Boba's adoption with their royal status.
Myra was too young to understand at the time, but as she got older, her mother and stepfather told her that life worked in a lot strange ways, and a lot of those ways were unfair. But, something they always told her was that if they spotted those wrongs and found a rational, reasonable solution, and fought for what they believed, they could make life easier and fairer for everyone.
Except, Myra found much worse things than just not having her biological father around. For example, kids at school often questioned why her dad was light-skinned while she was dark-skinned. In this case, it was because he was actually her stepfather. But for other kids, it could just as easily be simple genetics from the other parent. There were lots of inter-species couples that Myra knew of. And sometimes, she saw them getting weird looks from other folks too.
But that was least of Myra's worries. For a while, after her mom and stepdad got married, her life was wonderful. She went to a good school, had two loving parents and a nice house, and she even got a baby brother who loved and looked up to her. Her stepfather even got Myra her first guitar when she decided she wanted to be a rock star. But then one day, while the family was out for a drive, some crazy speeders zipped right by them and put the ship off course, causing them to crash into a building.
Myra saw some Jedi come by, seeming to be going after the crazy drivers for some reason. But they didn't even stop to help her or her family. Luckily, some civilian called for an ambulance and got the family to the hospital. Both of Brenda's legs were broken, Myra's body was covered in bruises and scars, but thankfully Kade was unharmed. Sadly, Lyle was also the only one who didn't survive.
It was a devastating time for the family. Brenda had to attend the funeral in a hoverbed, and it fell to Myra to take care of Kade for over a month until their mom's legs were fully healed. But after that day Jedi came by and could've easily helped Myra's family, or possibly prevented the crash, Myra blamed them for what gave her the worst heartbreak she'd ever experienced. She'd lost her father not once, but twice! Her birth father left before she was even born because of the Jedi, and her stepfather, who'd been her father since before he'd even married Myra's mother, was killed because the Jedi could've easily used their Force abilities to stop the crash, and they didn't.
"I swore that day that I would never have anything to do with Jedi or my birth father." Myra said with a sniff, wiping away some tears. "I was done with all the heartbreak, and the last thing I ever wanted was for my mother to go through the same thing again, and for my brother to face the chance of a father leaving him intentionally and breaking his heart the way mine was."
Mace couldn't believe all the things his daughter had been through since he'd left. It wasn't just him she was mad at, but the entire Jedi Order as well, which might have been part of why she didn't want to talk to any children of any Jedi. She blamed them for what happened between her parents as well as the loss of the only father figure she'd ever known. It probably didn't help when she also heard the news of Jango Fett's death by Mace's hand and the former's son being orphaned. That was why Mace had wanted to have Boba talk to her before.
"I think I understand what's going on here." said Sapphire. "Myra, you feel the Jedi are responsible for your lack of a parental figure in your life, and you fear that if you accept your biological father, your heart as well as that of your family will broken again, and you also worry that it will be as though you're replacing your stepfather."
"Yes." said Myra.
"And Mace, you felt that you didn't have a choice in the matter at the time you and Brenda split up." Sapphire said. "You thought she would be better off without you because you didn't believe you would be able to take care of her, much less a family if you had one with her."
"That is true." Mace nodded.
"And it's clear that both of you are right in some respects, but in the wrong as well."
Sapphire explained to them that Myra was definitely right that change was scary, as well as the fact that the Jedi could have done something to help her family and she had every right to be angry with Mace for breaking her mother's heart. And Mace was also right that taking care of a wife or a family when he had nothing of his own would be very difficult. But, Mace was also wrong not to let Brenda tell him what she needed to tell him at the time, as he could have done something to help her had he learned she was pregnant. And, Myra was also in the wrong to just assume Mace would leave her again without taking into account that he might not have wanted to leave in the first place.
"Not all fathers leave for the same reason." Sapphire said. "Some fathers leave because they've made the poor choice of abandoning their commitment to being a husband and a father, others... they might not have had a choice. It might have been the only way they could protect their family. Just ask my rider's father. The last thing he wanted was to leave any of his children. But he had no choice. And he had to leave them separated from each other even just to make sure they would be safe. Yet, Kara, Anakin, and Carmine have a wonderful relationship with their father now because despite not being able to raise them as he would've liked, that didn't stop him from doing what he could to be their father as well as a grandfather to their children."
And when Sapphire called Anakin in to testify, Myra started to open up a little more.
"It's true. I didn't get to know my father for the longest time. Carmine did see him once a year, and Kara saw him almost every day. But, none of us knew about each other. Kara and I didn't even know Qui-Gon Jinn was our dad until years later. But then, I met Carmine and we eventually learned why our father never told his other kids about each other or why he believed Carmine was better off living with our grandmother."
Anakin told Myra the story of how his family never knew they were royalty, and had to grow up separately to ensure they would all be safe from those who wished them harm. But it came at a great cost. Qui-Gon had to be away from his children and watch other people raise them, which crushed him more than words could describe. And it crushed him even more that he never got to be with either of the women he'd fallen in love with who also gave him his children. His first love died, and the second, the woman he was with now had been stuck in slavery and then moved on to another man.
"Then a lot of changes happened. People change too." Anakin said. "I've changed a lot over the years, and so have the kids. And a lot of the Jedi have changed too, including your father. I admit, we didn't get along very well at first, especially not after I got into his secret chocolate stash when I was a kid."
That made Myra laugh.
"Your father never liked to admit he had a bit of a sweet tooth." Anakin chuckled. "Especially not when he got matched with Strawberry Sundae. He had to learn from a pink pony how to loosen up."
Myra giggled a bit at that too.
"Jedi Master Mace Windu, the biggest stickler for rules, baking with a pony?" Myra laughed more. "That sounds like a fever dream."
"I didn't believe it at first either. And then I brought my kids to help Mace and Strawberry with baking treats for the opening of their new sweet shop. Your dad was the last person I expected to run even a small business like that. All sugar-coated and full of surprises."
"You know, Myra. If you'd like, I could show some of what we do." Mace said.
"I don't know." Myra said. "I'm a pretty terrible cook."
"You couldn't be as bad as I used to be." Mace said. "Last time I tried cooking for the kids, we almost had to call the fire department."
Myra and Anakin both laughed at that.
"I thought you always followed recipes." Anakin pointed out.
"I was confused by that too. Somehow, even following a recipe, it always came out bland or burnt. And then Strawberry gave me a little help learning to loosen up and have a little fun. And to my surprise, we ended up baking something amazing because she introduced me to an ingredient I'd been neglecting all this time. Love."
Myra looked at her father and started to think about giving him a chance. After all, what was the worst that could happen?
So, Mace brought Myra down to the sweet shop and they looked at some ingredients that were left from after making all the Valentine's Day treats. And he asked Myra what her favorite treat was.
"Easy. Strawberry lemon cake." said Myra.
"That just happens to be Strawberry's specialty." said Mace. "And I've enough time around her to know how to pick just the right ones for a recipe like this."
Mace pulled out a recipe book and found a great recipe for strawberry lemon cake so they knew what they needed, and Myra started helping to gather all the ingredients and start piecing them together while Mace washed the best strawberries he could find. And Myra helped herself to a few.
"Myra, save those for the cake." Mace scolded.
"Okay, Daddy." Myra teased.
Mace froze for a moment. That was the first time Myra actually called him 'Dad.' He never thought he'd hear that word being directed at him. He'd been called 'Uncle' by Gabby since she started talking. But that wasn't the same thing as being called 'Dad.'
And as Mace and Myra spent more time putting together the ingredients, they began to have some fun, especially when Mace accidentally knocked over a bag of flour and got the stuff all over him and it made him sneeze, poofing a big cloud of flour all over the place, even covering Myra in some.
Myra started laughing and so did Mace when they saw how big of a mess they both were. And when the cake was finally done baking, they got to frosting it. But Mace got a little mischievous and got a little frosting on Myra's nose.
"Daddy!" Myra scolded.
"What?" Mace said playfully. And Myra gave him a whipped cream beard in response. Both of them started laughing as they started making a mess of each other with frosting and whipped cream. There was more frosting on the two of them than on the cake!
Brenda eventually came by with Kade as the two of them were finally cleaning up the mess now that their cake was decorated. She was very happy to see Myra finally bonding with her father. And the little cake they made tasted as sweet as a family finally coming together.
Myra even played a happier tune on her guitar this time and gave her blessing for Mace to get a do-over of something he'd meant to do earlier that same day.
This time, the family came together at a park where there was a beautiful fountain. And by that fountain, Mace got down on one knee and said, "Brenda, will you marry me?"
And Brenda looked at her daughter for a moment, and Myra motioned for her to say what Mace was hoping for.
"Yes! Yes! Yes!" Brenda said.
People around the scene cheered as the Jedi slid the ring onto Brenda's finger.
Mace and Brenda kissed each other, so happy that finally they would be right where they wanted to be sixteen years ago.
You can imagine, all of Mace's friends were happy for him when he announced his engagement. And it was no surprise that more people than just him got engaged on Valentine's Day. Not surprisingly, the day of hearts and love was the day a lot of boyfriends decided would be the perfect day to propose to their girlfriends and vice-versa. And one other man they knew personally also proposed to his girlfriend that very evening.
Tech held Mila's arm in his as he spoke to his family and friends.
"As you may know," said Tech. "I had a special ring made for Mila to ask her the most important question any man could ask of the perfect woman for him. And this Valentine's Day, I asked that of Milagro Madrigal."
"And can anyone guess what I said?" Mila smiled.
Mila held out her left hand, and on her finger was a beautiful ring with a shiny diamond on it.
Cheers filled the air, as did love that day. Hearts were warmed by the spreading of love in so many ways. Romantic love, love between siblings, love between parents and their children, love between best friends. All kinds of love. And no matter what kind of villain Mariverde created, love would always prevail in the end.
Mariverde looked into her magic mirror and saw the girl formerly known as Rock Heartbreaker with her family now. Both her biological parents were back together and engaged, and even her little brother was happy to have a stepfather who would love his sister as well as him now and forevermore.
"Your daughter may have escaped my grasp, Master Windu, but none of you will be able to stop me from getting to the crown jewels next time. I will have them one way or another."
Hope you enjoyed this Valentine's Day arc of 'Return of the Doresho' one month early from Valentine's Day.
