"La La Lu" by Peggy Lee (lullaby from "Lady & the Tramp)

Olivia cried as she lay in Korkie's arms one fine morning.

"Shh. Please stop crying." Korkie begged, only for Olivia fo cry louder. "Auntie? How much longer?"

Satine and Obi-Wan were in the middle of getting Olivia's bottle ready while the serving droids were gettting everyone else's breakfast ready.

Despite having servers, Satine and her husband wanted to be the ones to raise their baby. Not nannies or servants.

"Not much longer, Korkie." Satine said as the timer went off.

Obi-Wan checked the milk on his wrist.

"Just right." He confirmed. And perfect timing too, because Olivia was crying more than ever.

"Oh, come to Mommy, little one." Satine cooed, taking Olivia into her arms and starting to feed her.

"Olivia is so cute." Peppermint commented.

Korkie yawned.

"She'd be even cuter if she slept through the night." He said.

"She will... eventually." Obi-Wan said, sipping some coffee. "Olivia is only a few days old. But she'll grow, just like any other baby."

Satine kissed Olivia's little head, the little one looking so cute as she drank her milk. She felt she couldn't be haplier to have her little baby here in her arms. After a time of corruption hit her planet during the Clone War, and being taken over by Darth Maul and Death Watch, Mandalore was once again a peaceful world. Now, Satine was married to the man she'd loved since she was a teenager, and they were blessed with a beautiful baby girl.

"No matter how big she gets, she will always be our little girl."

"My mom says the same thing about me and my sisters all the time." Peppermint said.

Obi-Wan looked at his daughter. She was so beautiful with her auburn hair and sparkling blue eyes. Already, the Jedi did a midichlorian count on her, and they confirmed that she would be a great Jedi someday.

For now, Obi-Wan put a burp cloth onto his shoulder and took Olivia into his arms after she finished her breakfast.

"Such a good girl, you are. Yes." Obi-Wan smiled as he burped Olivia.

After the birth of Princess Olivia had been announced, it was all over the news that Mandalore was officially blessed with a new hope as they now had multiple heirs to the throne.

Everyday gifts were sent to the palace, and the people of Mandalore continued to voice their congratulations to the new parents. Satine welcomed the attention especially for everyone who wanted to say hello to the baby.

Even Bo-Katan, normally being the tough girl of the Kryze sisters, couldn't resist the sweetness in Olivia's little face and the wide wonder in her eyes. And she, like everyone in the family, wanted to make sure she would be kept safe. She'd come close to losing her sister so many times. There was no way she was gonna let anyone take her baby niece.

"You know, Livvy, you're gonna face a lot of pressure when you grow up." Bo said as she was currently babysitting Olivia. "You're gonna be a duchess someday, and everyone will look up to you to keep the peace around here.

Satine had a lot on her mind as of late, and it wasn't from post partum depression or hormonal imbalance. It was a wonderful dream come true to have every blessing she had in her possession now. She was a duchess who lived in a palace with great wealth, but her greatest and most precious treasure was her family.

First, she lived a classic tale of forbidden love which then ended in Happily Ever After with a wedding to her Prince Charming, Obi-Wan. But that was just the beginning of their new story. Now, they had their new baby.

Satine had wanted to be a mother for so long, and now she finally got her wish. She loved Olivia very much and called the baby her little star sweeper. And the new mother was determined to make sure she grew up in a peaceful world. But with Mariverde out there, it was uncertain whether another violent war would emerge soon.

Olivia started to cry as she was ready for a nap, but found herself unable to fall asleep.

"Sh. Shh. There now, my little star sweeper." Satine soothed her baby.

She held the baby close to her heart and kissed her little head, then she started to gently rock her and sing her a lullaby her mother used to sing to her.

La la lu

La la lu

Oh, my little star sweeper

I'll sweep the stardust for you

Olivia's cries started turning into little coos as her mother sang to her. And Satine gently lay her down in her cradle and swaddled her up in a soft blanket.

And as Olivia lay down in her cradle, Satine gently rocked the cradle back and forth.

La la lu

La la lu

Little soft fluffy sleeper

Here comes a pink cloud for you

That was when Korkie entered the room and took a curious peek into the cradle as the baby fell asleep.

La la lu

La la lu

Little wandering angel

Fold up your wings, close your eyes

Korkie was startled as he felt someone touched his shoulder. It turned out to be Obi-Wan, and together, they looked into the cradle, where in it Olivia lay fast asleep, looking so peaceful.

La la lu

La la lu

And may love be your keeper

La la lu

La la lu

La la lu

Korkie smiled as he looked at his baby cousin looking so peaceful. She was actually really cute when she wasn't crying so much.

"There now, little star sweeper." said Satine quietly, stroking Olivia's little head. "Dream on."

Bo Katan too was unable to keep from smiling when she caught a glimpse of Olivia sleeping in her cradle.

But as the dark of night came, they were all in for a big surprise.

The Kenobi-Kryze family all went to bed that night, and everyone was sleeping peacefully. And by some miracle, the new baby was finally starting to sleep longer.

But, they didn't know that a grave threat was coming their way.

As Obi-Wan and Satine were sleeping, they heard the sound of Olivia crying on the baby monitor. Obi-Wan was first to wake up, but then he heard something else on the monitor. A crash.

Obi-Wan grabbed his lightsaber just in case and crept over to the baby's room, and there, in the room...

...Was Darth Maul and Savage Oppress!

Obi-Wan gasped in horror. Olivia was crying as Savage was holding Baby Olivia in his arms.

"Put my daughter down!" Obi-Wan demanded angrily.

Maul looked at Obi-Wan with a sneer and activated his lightsaber, the latter activating his.

Quickly, Obi-Wan signaled for guards to protect the Duchess while he fought the intruders.

Maul fought harder than Obi-Wan remembered. How he managed to escape his prison, Obi-Wan didn't know, but his first priority was to rescue his baby.

But while Maul was keeping Obi-Wan busy with their lightsabers up against each other, Savage was escaping with Olivia!

"NO!" Obi-Wan cried.

And that was when Maul began Force choking Obi-Wan before throwing him right through the wall, knocking him unconscious!

"Obi-Wan!" Satine cried when she saw her husband's state.

Bo-Katan entered the scene too and asked what happened.

"They have my baby!" Satine said.

"Don't worry, sis. I'll get her if it's the last thing I do!" Bo said, rushing to save her niece.

Satine looked at Obi-Wan and got someone to call an ambulance.

Obi-Wan groaned as he finally came to.

"O-Olivia..." Obi-Wan groaned. "Olivia... my baby... Maul..."

Obi-Wan quickly sat up.

"Where is my daughter?!" Obi-Wan panicked, looking around. He looked around to find himself in a hospital gown and feeling a great amount of pain in his right leg.

"Be careful, Your grace." said the doctor. "You sustained a serious fracture in your right leg."

"Where is my daughter?" said Obi-Wan impatiently. "My daughter was kidnapped!"

Satine came into the room, and rushed over and kissed her husband, but started crying as she too was worried about her baby.

"The police and the guards are all looking for Olivia now," said Satine. "But I'm terrified, Obi-Wan! Our baby is out there."

"Local authorities don't know what they are dealing with." Obi-Wan said. "I saw firsthand what those kidnappers can do. I've dealt with them before."

Obi-Wan was determined to rescue his baby, but first, he needed to contact Gabby and ask her to kiss and heal him.

Meanwhile...

Olivia was crying and screaming in the Sith's arms.

"Be quiet, you bundle of noise!" Maul hissed, but that just made Olivia cry louder.

"How do people get these things to stop crying?!" Savage groaned, and then sniffed, smelling an awful stench.

"Agh! Don't tell me she..."

"I'm not changing her!"

"Well, I'm not doing it!"

Olivia started crying again, louder. It looked like the Sith overlooked one little detail when it came to having a baby: taking care of it. And while kidnapping the baby, they neglected to take a baby bag with the right supplies to care for her.

So, when they brought her to Mariverde.

"You're both lucky I have experience with at least one baby," said Mariverde, summoning up the right supplies to clean Olivia up and change her diaper, which made her stop crying. "But you brought her here alive, and that was the goal."

Olivia continued crying, and Mariverde put a butterfly-shaped pacifier into her mouth.

"There, there, little one. Your new mommy won't let those incompetent fools hurt you." Mariverde cooed.

"We brought you the kid," said Maul. "Now, those powers you promised us?"

"I am a woman of my word." Mariverde said, making two mariclavas and making them land on the two Siths' lightsabers.

Heart Times, I am Mariverde. I'm giving you the power to weaken your enemies through their own pain and suffering of the past. You will be able to remind them of their greatest moments of weakness and use that against them so you may exact revenge on them with the reminder that they can never undo their past actions. Do you accept these powers?

"I accept these powers." said Maul and Savage, and both of them were clavatized.

Gabby gave Obi-Wan a kiss to heal his leg, and Obi-Wan immediately got what supplies he could find to go on an important rescue mission. He planned to face Maul and Savage alone.

"But they're two Sith, Uncle Obi-Wan." Gabby said. "You can't face them alone."

"You haven't seen what they can do, Gabriella." Obi-Wan said. "One of them was the one to murder your grandfather years ago, and I was helpless to stop Maul or save my old Master. None of us had your ability to heal others with a simple kiss then as we do now."

"But Lamenta, Boba, and I helped defeat Maul when he took over Mandalore." Gabby said. "And that was over a year ago."

"I'm not willing to take that risk a second time. You aren't to tell anyone else about this, okay? I don't want your father or your grandfather to get involved. I can't lose either of them now, and we can't lose Qui-Gon a second time."

Gabby looked down at that. It had been almost two years since she'd cast that spell that brought back her grandfather, and she wasn't ready to lose him now, not that she ever would be. She understood Obi-Wan loved him and wanted to keep him safe. He was more than just his friend; he was family to him.

And now, he was making it his job to rescue his newest family member.
