Episode 169: Total Annihilape-tion!

After earning sixth Gym battle, Sora, Kairi, Tracey, Ash, Leaf, Sakura, Pikachu, Angel, Togepi, and the Pichu left Olivine City.

After they left, Sora exchanged Magcargo and Houndoom for Primeape and Pineco. Sora thought of having his Primeape evolve into an Annihilape since he saw Riku's. He checked out the information on his Pokédex on how to make his Primeape evolve into an Annihilape.

"Let's see. To get Primeape evolve into an Annihilape, Primeape must perform Rage Fist, twenty times," Sora read on his Pokédex. He stroked his chin.

"Pikachu," Pikachu said.

"I can tell you want one, too, Sora," Kairi said.

"Yeah, like you wanted to catch your own Girafarig because of Riku's," Sora said. She giggled.

"Yeah, maybe. But I did catch my own Girafarig," Kairi said.

"Eevee," Angel said.

"Toge, Toge," Togepi chirped.

"Well, we could find a place to train to do that," Tracey said.

"He's right. And we can help you out with that," Ash said.

"I appreciate it, guys. Let's get it done," Sora said as he took out Primeape's Pokéball in the air. "Come out, Primeape!" His Pokéball opened and his Primeape came out. "How would you like to evolve into a completely new Pokémon, Primeape?" The Pig Monkey Pokémon just looked at him confused. "I know what you're thinking. Just think about how stronger you can get when you do, Primeape." Primeape blinked twice and he imagined himself as a muscular version of a Primeape. He had muscles that made a Machamp look like they were flabby in comparison. Primeape's eyes lit up at the thought of it. Primeape became determined to evolve. "Thought you'd like the idea. We can get started!"

Meanwhile, Team Rocket spotted them from their balloon. Jessie is looking through her binoculars. She chuckled.

"There they are. After being absent in some chapters, we finally found those twerps. And judging how it looks, I can bet my money that those twerps are up to something," Jessie said.

"Has the number of twerps gone up since the last time?" Meowth asked.

"Who cares? Pikachu is up for grabs while they're occupied with whatever it is they're doing," James said.

"Someone's been using his blue-head. And that someone is right. The twerps will be occupied with their little task, whatever it is, and they'll be too distracted to even notice that their precious Pikachu is missing! And when we finally get Pikachu, the boss will take us off our debts and he will give us the promotion that we rightfully deserve! More so than Cassidy, Botch, and that four-eyed troll by the boss's side!" Jessie said. Wobbuffet pops out once again.

"Wobbuffet!" Wobbuffet said.

"Not even you are going to ruin the mood I'm in!" Jessie said, calling Wobbuffet back. She chuckled.

Meanwhile, the hooded figures have arrived to the mainland with their vehicle.

"You sure following them is a good idea?" The hooded girl asked.

"I'm sure. That Sora kid is our best shot right now," the hooded young man said.

"But where did he go?" The hooded girl asked.

"We can find them just by sensing them. They went that way," the hooded young man said, pointing ahead of them and rode after them.

Back with the group, Sora and Primeape stood before Ash and a Totodile he recently caught along the way. It was slightly bigger than the one Sora had before evolving, and it has turquoise skin and dark blue spikes.

"You ready, Totodile?" Ash asked.

"Totodile," the Shiny Totodile answered.

"How about you, Sora?" Ash asked.

"Ready when you are, Ash," Sora said. He looked at Primeape. "Okay, Primeape! Let's do this thing!"

"Primeape!" Primeape said.

"Okay, use Rage Fist!" Sora ordered. Primeape came at Totodile with his fist giving off a crimson red glow.

"Dodge it!" Ash called out. Totodile tried to dodge, but Primeape came too fast for the Pig Monkey Pokémon. "Okay, use Slash!" Totodile slashed at Primeape.

"Use Rage Fist again!" Sora ordered. Primeape came at Totodile and lands another Rage Fist, but it was much stronger than the first one.

"Did that just come out stronger?" Sakura asked.

"Yeah. The more the user was hit, the greater Rage Fist's power gets," Tracey said.

"Two down, eighteen to go," Kairi said.

"Rage Fist again!" Sora ordered. Primeape came at Totodile and lands a hit onto Totodile, resulting in a knockout. Ash called Totodile back inside.

"Take a rest, Totodile. You've earned it," Ash said. He took out a Dusk Ball and threw it. "Go for it, Gengar!" His Dusk Ball opened and a Gengar came right out to battle.

"Seventeen to go! Use Rage Fist!" Sora ordered. Primeape came at Gengar with Rage Fist and lands a hit.

"Use Shadow Punch!" Ash ordered. Gengar sends out a shadowy fist at the Pig Monkey Pokémon. "Use Dazzling Gleam!" Gengar unleashed Dazzling Gleam and ends up being knocked out.

"Sixteen left," Sora said. He helps Primeape up and summons his Keyblade. He casts his cure spell, healing Primeape of his injuries. "You did your best, Primeape. You should get some rest for right now."

"Ape," Primeape said, laying down.

"How's Primeape doing?" Ash asked.

Not too far away, the hooded figures watched on from their vehicle.

"They're going to get that Primeape evolve into an Annihilape. That's something I'd like to see," the hooded girl said.

"Same with me, I'll admit it. He is going to need every edge that he can get when it comes to Pokémon battles," the hooded young man said.

"Espeon," Espeon said.

"Umbreon," Umbreon said.

Over to Team Rocket, they watched from their balloon and ate some ramen.

"Should we strike now, Jessie?" Meowth asked.

"Not yet," Jessie said. "I want to wait until their guard is down. And when that happens, we'll move right in, and snatch Pikachu before they know what happened!"

"I like this plan, Jessie!" James said.

"How will we get it done?" Meowth asked.

"Leave it all to me," Jessie said.

Team Rocket waits for the group to be off guard. After some rest, Primeape was sent back out. He is sparring with Typhlosion.

"Okay, guys, let's treat this like a real battle! Give it everything you've got! You ready!" Sora said. Typhlosion and Primeape both nodded. "Okay, Typhlosion! Use Quick Attack!" Typhlosion charges at Primeape with Quick Attack. "Okay, Primeape! Dodge it and use Rage Fist!" Primeape dodges and lands a hit onto Typlhosion. "That was great!"

"Pika!" Pikachu said.

"Okay, Flamethrower!" Sora ordered. Typhlosion fired Flamethrower and then Primeape dodges. The stream of flame struck Team Rocket's balloon. They screamed as they went crashing down to a small pond.

"Somehow I pictured that a whole lot differently," Meowth said.

"We're not throwing in the towel yet. That twerp won't brush us off that easily!" Jessie said.

"I had a feeling you were gonna say that," Meowth said.

Back with Typhlosion and Primeape...

"Primeape! Rage Fist!" Sora ordered. Primeape came at Typhlosion with a Rage Fist. Typhlosion tried to dodge it, but he got hit by Primeape's attack. Kairi, Angel, and Togepi came and watched Sora's Pokémon sparring. "Use Flame Wheel!" Typhlosion rolls right at Primeape, so the Pig Monkey Pokémon stood his ground and held Typhlosion in his grip. "Rage Fist again!" Primeape lands a hit onto Typlhosion. It came much stronger than before. "And that makes six! Let's keep it up!" Primeape uses Rage Fist thirteen more times, but against Bayleef, Feraligatr, and Larvitar. "Okay, one more time!" Primeape was about to use Rage Fist when he hears the sound of a net. The net was heading to where Pikachu is. Primeape stopped what he was doing and he gave that net a good toss to the side. "Primeape!"

"Primeape!" Primeape said, pointing to something. Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, and Angel turned to look, and they saw Team Rocket's balloon. Sora sighed in annoyance.

"Oh, it's the morons again," Sora groaned in annoyance.

"Pika," Pikachu groaned, just as annoyed.

"Prepare for trouble, did you think you'd be rid of us?" Jessie asked.

"Make it double, we make quite a fuss!" James said with a rhyme.

"To protect the world from devastation!"

"To unite all peoples within our nation!"

"To denounce the evils of truth and love!"

"To extend our reach to the stars above!"

"Jessie!"

"James!"

"Team Rocket blasts off at the speed of light!"

"Surrender now or prepare to fight!"

"Meowth! That's right!"

"Wobbuffet!"

"Mime, Mime!"

"What will it take for you morons to get lost?" Sora asked.

"Nothing you can throw at us!" James said.

"You can give us a beating and we just keep on coming back!" Jessie said.

"Gluttons for punishment," Sora said.

"Let's give him the beating that he rightfully deserves!" Meowth said.

"How right you are, Meowth!" Jessie said, taking out a Pokéball and threw it. "Arbok! Go!" Her Pokéball opened and Arbok came right out.

"Cha-bok!" Arbok hissed.

"Weezing! I choose you!" James shouted.

"Weezing!" Weezing said. Kairi took out a Pokéball and threw it.

"Go! Girafarig!" Kairi called out. Girafarig came right out to battle. "Girafarig! Use Psybeam on Arbok!" Girafarig fires Psybeam and struck Arbok on the mark. "Use Stomp onto Weezing. "Girafarig lands a stomp onto Weezing.

"Good of you to join in, Kairi!" Sora said.

"Any time, Sora!" Kairi said.

"Weezing! Use Double Hit!" James ordered. Weezing heads towards Girafarig to land a hit, but Girafarig fired Twin Beam right at Weezing, landing two hits. "Aah! Weezing!"

"That's a new one on me," Kairi said. Girafarig then starts to evolve, much to Kairi's surprise. "Girafarig?"

"I think Girafarig is evolving!" Sora exclaimed.

"Pika," Pikachu said.

"Eevee," Angel said.

Girafarig has now become a Farigiraf. Kairi was surprised to see her Girafarig evolve into a new kind of Pokémon.

"Wow, and who's that Pokémon?" Kairi asked, taking out her Pokédex and scanned it.

Farigiraf, the Long Neck Pokémon

The evolved form of Girafarig

Type: Normal/Psychic

The hardened head from the tail protects the head of the main body as Farigiraf whips its long neck around to headbutt enemies.

"Farigiraf! That's a neat Pokémon!" Kairi said.

"Hey, that twerpette's Girafarig has become a new kind of Pokémon," Meowth said.

"That's a Farigiraf. This is the first time I have ever seen one in my life," James said.

"Who cares if they have a new Pokémon! We got a Pikachu to catch!" Jessie said. "Arbok! Use Crunch! Now!" Arbok came rushing at Farigiraf.

"Primeape! Use Rage Fist!" Sora ordered. Primeape lands a Rage Fist onto Arbok, landing a hit. Primeape then starts evolving, surprising Team Rocket. Primeape has now become an Annihilape. "Yes! I knew all that training would pay off!"

"What kind of Pokémon is that?" Jessie asked.

"Looking it up now," James said, looking it up on his laptop. "Aha! This Pokémon is an Annihilape! It says that it's known as the Rage Monkey Pokémon, and it's a Fighting and Ghost-type Pokémon. It says that this Pokémon's rage can rival a Primeape's."

"The twerps are getting themselves some cool Pokémon and we just have Arbok, Weezing, Mime Jr, Victreebel, and the wobbly blue blob!" Meowth commented.

"I resemble that remark!" - Wobbufet subtitle.

"Arbok! Use Wrap!" Jessie ordered. Arbok wrapped his body around Annihilape's body, but it does nothing to him since being a Ghost-type now. "Why didn't that work?"

"Because Annihilape is a Ghost-type Pokémon, and Wrap's a Normal-type move! So it doesn't work on him!" Meowth said. Jessie realized the mistake she made.

"Oops," Jessie said.

"Annihilape! Use Shadow Punch!" Sora ordered. Annihilape's fist extends from his arm and lands a shadowy punch onto Arbok. "Great! Use Rage Fist!" Annilhilape lands a punch onto Weezing, dealing some damage.

"Farigiraf! Use Twin Beam!" Kairi ordered. Farigiraf fired Twin Beam at Team Rocket, sending them flying in the air.

"I'm gonna hurl!" James exclaimed.

"You puke on me, I'm gonna shove my boot where the sun doesn't shine!" Jessie said.

"Don't even think about losing your lunch on me!" Meowth said.

"I have to a lunch to lose, but I'm still gonna puke!" James said.

"Team Rocket's blasting off again!" Team Rocket shouted as a star twinkles in the distance.

"That takes care of those three, again," Sora said.

"It sure does," Kairi agreed. She looked at Farigiraf and smiled. "I didn't think you'd evolve, Farigiraf. But it was a good thing you did." Farigiraf gave off a cry. Ash, Leaf, Tracey, Sakura, and the Pichu came rushing in the area.

"Is everything okay? We heard a commotion!" Ash said, summoning his Fire Red Charizard.

"Yeah, what was it? Heartless? Nobodies?" Leaf asked, summoning her Leaf Green Venusaur.

"Everything's okay. It was just Team Rocket trying and failing as usual," Sora said.

"That's a relief," Tracey said, glad it wasn't Heartless or Nobodies. He noticed the couple's newly evolved Pokémon. "Primeape and Girafarig evolved!"

"It was Team Rocket who played a role in it," Kairi said.

"Those three never quit, do they?" Sakura asked.

"That's a no, Sakura," Ash said, dismissing his Keyblade.

"At least they're out of our hair for now," Leaf said.

"Yeah, but how long," Sora said.

Soon after dealing with Team Rocket, Kairi has prepared a special meal for everyone to honor the occasion of two evolutions at once. Annihilape was pleased by the evolution he got, because he was a whole lot stronger than he was as a Primeape, and he was strong before. Sora wondered how Annihilape would do in a Pokémon battle.

But Sora was about to get his answer when a Pokémon Trainer came walking up to the group and points his finger at the group just when they were cleaning up.

"Hey, you! The one with the spiky-hair! I'm looking for a Pokémon Trainer named Sora Ketchum who came from Pallet Town! You know him?" The Trainer asked.

"Yeah, that's me," Sora said.

"Great! Let's have a match! Unless you're afraid of losing!" The Trainer challenged, taking out a Pokéball. Sora stood up.

"How do you wanna do this?" Sora asked.

"Let's make it a five-on-five match! How about it?" The Trainer asked.

"Okay!" Sora said. He looked at his partner. "You're not too full to battle, are you?"

"Pika," Pikachu answered, shaking his head.

"Thought you weren't," Sora said. "But you don't mind if the first round goes to Annihilape, don't you?"

"Pika," Pikachu answered.

"Okay," Sora said. The Trainer threw his Pokéball.

"Go! Gliscor!" The Trainer called out. His Gliscor came right out. Sora took out Annihilape's Pokéball and threw it.

"You're up, Annihilape!" Sora called out. Annihilape came out to battle against the Fang Scorpion Pokémon.

"He's using Annihilape now?" Tracey asked.

"If I know Sora, he wants to test out Annihilape's battling skills. To be honest, I was thinking the same thing," Ash said.

"You must be off your gord, because Gliscor has the advantage over a Fighting-type Pokémon like Annihilape; especially when it knows some moves that can do some serious damage to it," the Trainer said.

"Types aren't everything, dude," Sora said. "Okay, Annihilape! Use Shadow Punch!" Annihilape extends his fist and it lands a shadowy punch onto Gliscor.

"Gliscor! Use Dark Pulse!" The Trainer ordered. Gliscor unleashed Dark Pulse right at the Rage Monkey Pokémon to land a hit.

"Dodge and use Rage Fist!" Sora ordered. Annihilape dodges Gliscor's Dark Pulse and lands a punch onto Gliscor.

"Use Feint Attack!" The Trainer ordered. Gliscor vanishes and then lands a hit onto Annihilape. This builds up Annihilape's anger.

"Use Rage Fist again!" Sora ordered. Annihilape came at Gliscor and lands a stronger hit onto it. "Okay, use Seismic Toss!" Annilhilape got on Gliscor and brought it straight down to the ground. Gliscor has taken a lot of damage from that fall. "Use Shadow Punch to finish it off!" Annilhilape uses Shadow Punch and lands a shadowy punch onto Gliscor, finishing Gliscor off. The Trainer called Gliscor back.

"Okay, you beat my Gliscor, so here's my next one! Pinsir! Go for it!" The Trainer called out as his Pinsir emerged from inside. Sora calls Annihilape back and he turned to Pikachu.

"You're up now, Pikachu!" Sora said. Pikachu stepped in to battle against Pinsir.

"Pinsir! Use Vise Grip!" The Trainer ordered. Pinsir came right for Pikachu and lowered the head mandibles to grab him.

"Dodge and use Iron Tail!" Sora ordered. Pikachu dodges Pinsir's attack and swings his tail at Pinsir, landing a hit. "Use Electro Ball!" Pikachu forms a ball of electricity and sends it at the Stag Beetle Pokémon.

"Use Dig to dodge!" The Trainer ordered. Pinsir digs underground to dodge Pikachu's attack.

"Pinsir can come out at any moment!" Sora said. Pikachu looked around. He feels the ground move from under him and Pinsir came out of the earth, catching Pikachu in the mix. "Use Storm Throw!" Pinsir grabs Pikachu and gave him a throw and right on the ground.

"Storm Throw is a brutal move. It always lands a critical hit," Leaf said.

"Get some rest, Pikachu. You did your best," Sora said.

"Pika," Pikachu said.

"Great job as always, Pinsir," the Trainer said. He calls Pinsir back. He took out his next Pokéball and threw it. "Your turn now, Dudunsparce!" His Pokéball opened and out came a Pokémon that s a serpentine Pokémon that looks nearly identical to Dunsparce. It has the same yellow body with a blue underside and blue and cream stripes on its back. It sports three "prongs" on its blue chin and its eyes are now partially opened up, revealing its two pupiless white colored scleras. It has a dark blue spiral pattern on the underside of its first body segment, and its tail has a blue "cap" on it. It has two pairs of body segments, with two blue stripes and a pair of two-feathered wings on the first body segment, and one blue stripe and a pair of one-feathered wings on the second. Sora took out his Pokédex and scanned it.

Dudunsparce, Two-Segment Form, the Land Snake Pokémon

The evolved form of Dunsparce

Type: Normal

This Pokémon uses its hard tail to make its nest by boring holes into bedrock deep underground. The nest can reach lengths of over six miles.

He puts his Pokédex away and takes out another Pokéball and threw it.

"So that's what Dunsparce will evolve into," Kairi said.

"Eevee," Angel said.

"I only heard of Dudunsparce. Dunsparce evolves into a Dudunsparce when knowing a move called Hyper Drill. Also, Dudunsparce's appearance can either be a Two-Segment or Three-Segment," Tracey said.

"Let's see how Sora handles this one," Leaf said.

"Go! Dunsparce!" His Pokéball opened and Dunsparce came out to battle.

"Okay, Dunsparce! Use Hyper Drill!" The Trainer ordered. Dudunsparce spins the cap on its tail and it comes right at Dunsparce.

"Dodge it, Dunsparce!" Sora called out. Dunsparce dodges Dudunsparce's attack. "Use Drill Run!" Dunsparce came right at Dudunsparce with a Drill Run.

"Hyper Drill!" The Trainer ordered. Dudunsparce came at Dunsparce again.

"Use Drill Run!" Sora ordered. Dunsparce came at Dudunsparce, but it turns out to be Hyper Drill, same as Dudunsparce. They tried to land a hit onto each other, but Dudunsparce has gained the upper hand and knocked out Dunsparce. Sora called Dunsparce back inside. "You did your best, Dunsparce. Get some rest."

"Great job, Dudunsparce," the Trainer said, calling his Pokémon back inside. He took out his next Pokéball and held it. "Your turn, Dragonair!" His Dragonair came right out to battle. Sora took out his next Pokéball and threw it.

"You're up, Larvitar!" Sora called out. Larvitar came right out to battle.

"This should be easy. Dragonair! Use Ice Beam!" The Trainer ordered. Dragonair fired Ice Beam right at the Rock Skin Pokémon.

"Dodge and use Rock Slide!" Sora ordered. Larvitar dodges and unleashed Rock Slide right at Dragonair.

"Dodge and use Ice Beam again!" The Trainer ordered. Dragonair tries to dodge, but it got hit by the rocks coming at it. It does some damage, but Dragonair fires Ice Beam right at Larvitar.

"Dark Pulse!" Sora ordered. Larvitar fires Dark Pulse and it successfully blocks Dragonair's Ice Beam. Larvitar and Dragonair held their attacks, so Larvitar manages to push Dragonair's back and land a hit onto the Dragon Pokémon. "Now use Crunch!" Larvitar gave Dragonair a good bite from Crunch and slammed the Dragon Pokémon hard on the ground, earning Larvitar the win. "Great job, Larvitar!"

"Larvitar!" Larvitar said. The Trainer calls Dragonair back inside and he smiled.

"You did your best, Dragonair. Get some rest," the Trainer said kindly. He took out another Pokéball and held it. "That wasn't half bad, kid. You're a whole lot better than I thought. Let's see how well you handle my next Pokémon." He threw it. "Your turn now, Pidgeot!" His Pokéball opened and a Pidgeot came flying out in the air. Sora looked at the Pidgeot and he gets an idea.

"We can make this an air battle!" Sora said, taking out a Pokéball and threw it. "Go! Honchkrow!" His Pokéball. Honchkrow came right out to battle against the Bird Pokémon.

"Pidgeot! Use Steel Wing!" The Trainer ordered. Pidgeot came flying at Honchkrow.

"Dodge it, Honchkrow!" Sora called out. Honchkrow flew to dodge Pidgeot's Steel Wing. "Use Night Slash!" Honchkrow came at Pidgeot with his talons giving off a purple aura. Honchkrow came at Pidgeot and scratches Pidgeot with them. "Use Dark Pulse!" Honchkrow fired Dark Pulse and hits Pidgeot hard on the mark.

"Use Roost!" The Trainer ordered. Pidgeot gave off a white glow and heals itself of its past injuries. "Use Heat Wave!" Pidgeot flapped its wings, stirring up an orange wind that is sent towards the Big Boss Pokémon.

"Dodge it, Honchkrow!" Sora called out. Honchkrow tries to dodge, but he got hit hard by the attack. "Use Night Slash!" Honchkrow tried to slash at Pidgeot again, but he misses his opponent completely.

"Use Heat Wave again!" The Trainer ordered. Pidgeot flapped its wings again and sends out another orange wind at Honchkrow. The Big Boss Pokémon started to fall.

"Dodge it, Honchkrow! Hurry!" Sora called out. Honchkrow then regains his balance and started to fly up, making Pidgeot miss his target completely. "Use Aerial Ace!" Honchkrow dashed at Pidgeot and lands a hit onto it.

"Pidgeot! Use Aerial Ace as well!" The Trainer ordered. Pidgeot dashed at Hinchkrow and lands a hit.

"Aerial Ace again!" Sora ordered. Both bird Pokémon dashed at each other. Honchkrow lands one more Aerial Ace and it fell down to the ground below. Pidgeot was now down and out.

"Pidgeot!" The Trainer cried. He helped Pidgeot up. "You okay, Pidgeot?" The Bird Pokémon responded with a weak cry. "You did a great job as always." He calls Pidgeot back inside. He walked up to Sora and shook his hand. "You're a great Trainer, Sora. You did a great job at raising your Pokémon."

"Thanks. You did, too," Sora said.

After having the Pokémon healed, Sora exchanged Annihilape, Honchkrow, and Raikou for Gliscor, Sneasel, and Ambipom.

Meanwhile, Professor Oak retrieved the Pokéballs and Ultra Ball. He noticed something about one of them.

"Wow, Sora's Primeape evolved. I am curious to see it for myself," Professor Oak said. He opened the Pokéball and Annihilape came right out, much to his surprise and awe. "My word! An Annihilape! This is quite a sight! Sora has a brand new Pokémon! I might do some research!"

We'll end it right here for right now, and more will continue soon.
