Episode 172: The Voice of the Forest Part 1
We open up to 40 years ago in the past. We see a Celebi. The Time Travel Pokémon is running for its life from a Houndoom. The Houndoom leaps for the Celebi, but it dodges with ease. Suddenly, a Scyther attacks it and lands a blow, but the Time Travel Pokemon recovers and keeps going. Meanwhile, a young boy is seen walking through the woods. He has short brown hair with a long fringe on each side and a full fringe in the front. He wore a white buttoned shirt, a brown belt, green pants, white shoes, and an olive green backpack. He comes upon a tunnel when he hears a voice.
"If you're going in, be careful!" A woman's voice called out. The boy looks up and sees a woman come down in front of him. She has green hair that that's like tree branches. "Don't forget, if you hear the voice of the forest, don't move a muscle." The boy looks at her confused. "Don't tell me you haven't heard about it."
"No, I haven't. What's the voice of the forest?" The boy asked.
"Well, it's only a legend, but everyone around here believes it. They say there's a sound you can hear when the spirit who protects the forest is time traveling," the woman said.
"Time traveling?" The boy asked.
"That's one of its special powers. It can go back and forth between the past and the future," the woman said.
"Wow," the boy said, awestruck.
"So if you hear a weird sound, stop and stay completely still. If the spirit catches you, it could carry you off to a different time," the woman said.
"Don't worry, I'll be careful," the boy said. The woman nods. "Thanks. Bye." The boy starts to head for the tunnel.
"Wait," the woman said.
As the boy stops, the woman puts down her basket and gives him some bread.
"Take this. It's a loaf of bread I made that's full of berries from the forest. It might come in handy if you get hungry," the woman offered as she wraps the bread up in some leaves. "Here."
"Thanks, miss. I appreciate it. Bye," the boy said.
The boy heads back towards the tunnel. Meanwhile, back in the forest, the Celebi keeps running, but is soon cornered by both Houndoom and Scyther. Houndoom fires a Flamethrower, but the Celebi creates a shield to protect itself before Scyther attacks and knocks the Time Travel Pokemon to the ground, destroying its shield. Soon, the Trainer of the two Pokemon arrives on a motorcycle. He has a unique eye patch.
"You've been giving me the slip for a long time," the Trainer said as he gets out a capture device. "But you won't today!" The man throws the device, but the Celebi evades in time and escapes. "Don't let it get away! Let's go!"
Houndoom, Scyther and their trainer pursue the Pokemon again. The Celebi cries out, and the young boy hears it while sketching some Bellossom. The Bellossom soon run off, along with an Oddish, two Rattata, two Pidgey and both a male and female Nidoran. The boy avoids getting in their way, but then spots the Celebi being chased around before Houndoom and Scyther rush by. The boy grabs his things and quickly follows and finds Scyther pinning down the Pokemon.
"Let it go! Two against one isn't fair!" The boy yelled.
Houndoom fires a Flamethrower to warn the boy off, allowing the Celebi to use its power to cause some vines to wrap around both Sycther and Houndoom, allowing it to escape just long enough for the boy to help it. Soon, the Trainer of the Houndoom and Scyther shows up.
"Alright, hand over that Celebi!" The Trainer demanded.
"Celebi?" The boy asked as he gets up. "Why should I hand it over? What do you want with it?"
"I'm a Pokemon Hunter, kid. I make good money off of rare Pokemon. First I catch them, and then I auction them off to the highest bidder," the man said as he gets out another capture device.
"Well, you're not gonna get your hands on this Pokémon!" The boy said.
"Give it to me!" The Hunter roared.
"No! Go away!" The boy definitely said as he ran for it as the Hunter chases after him. Celebi calls out, this time using its powers, creating a glow so big and bright that the woman from earlier sees it.
"Could that be time traveling?" The woman asked.
Back in the forest, Celebi starts glowing as well. Soon, both it and the boy disappear through time, leaving only the boy's drawing pad behind right in front of a shrine as the camera pans and zooms out of the forest to transition to a picture of that same area, but 40 years later where the hunter is being attacked and interrogated by a muscular man with tan skin, light brown hair on his head with a spike hair that pr-trues from the top of his head and chin, and black eyes, he wears a yellow/golden colored helmet with red crossed eyes with black spears behind him. He wore a black shirt with the letter "R" that is colored light red, but he also wears a red colored vase with three black spears that holds some black orbs and yellow spikes that pr-trues on his shoulders, black shorts with a yellow belt around his waist, and also wears light gray cleans that covers his arms, hands and legs, he also has yellow bands on his wrists and ankles, and wears yellow colored metal boots with red colored middle and black soles. This man is a member of Team Rocket.
"I'll tell you why I'm here," the man said, pushing him. "I'm here because I heard a story that you almost caught a Celebi somewhere in this forest about 40 years ago. True?"
"I'm still a Pokemon Hunter! I'm not gonna tell you anything!" The Hunter definitely stated. He chuckled.
"We'll see about that," the Team Rocket member said. Outside, we see multiple Pokemon the hunter had caged up over the years. Including a Nidoking, a Spearow, a Piloswine, a Sandshrew and a Tyranitar before the intruder and his Sneasel come out with the hunter. "Okay."
The intruder's Sneasel breaks the bars on the Tyranitar's cage before the intruder pulls out one of the orbs. He presses the button on top, revealing it to be a different kind of Pokeball.
"What's that thing?" The Hunter asked.
"A Dark Ball," the Team Rocket member answered.
"What's it do?" The Hunter asked.
"Allow me to demonstrate," the Team Rocket member said as he throws the Dark Ball and captures the Tyranitar. "The Pokemon I catch with a Dark Ball become evil Pokemon. And their power instantly increases to the highest level. Come on out, Tyranitar!" The Tyranitar emered from inside, having turned completely evil. "Fire your Hyper Beam!" The evil Tyranitar starts firing at everything, destroying them. The caged Pokémon were all scared. The Hunter was just as scared.
"No, please! It's going to destroy everything!" The Hunter exclaimed, frightened. The Tyranitar fires at his trailer, destroying it. He pleaded with the Team Rocket member. "Alright! Alright! I'll show you! I'll show you the spot where I found that Celebi!" The Team Rocket member laughed evilly.
"I thought you'd see things my way," the Team Rocket member said.
Meanwhile, Sora, Kairi, Ash, Leaf, Tracey, Sakura, Pikachu, Angel, Togepi, and the Pichu have arrived to a nearby town, but they were meeting up with someone. It was a couple of days since they came to the Lake Lucid Pokémon Center. They were surprised that there was a Nurse Joy who's afraid of Water-type Pokémon, but it never affected her performance.
As they waited, the first to come was Riku, Naminé, Eevee, and Azurill.
"Riku," Sora said.
"Sora, hey!" Riku greeted.
"Hi, Kairi," Naminé greeted.
"Hi, Naminé," Kairi said.
"Pika, Pika!" Pikachu greeted Eevee.
"Eevee, vee!" Angel greeted as well.
"Eevee," Eevee said.
"So they with you?" Ash asked.
"No, but they said they were gonna meet us here," Naminé said.
And that turns out to be Ethan, Kris, Lyra, and Marill.
"Ethan," Sora said.
"Hey, Sora," Ethan greeted. They hi-five each other. He spots Ash and Leaf with the group. "Ash, Leaf? When did you get here?"
"Not too long ago, Ethan," Ash said.
"I haven't seen you since the whole Greenfield experience," Lyra said.
"Marill, Marill!" Marill said.
"Pika, Pika!" Pikachu said.
"Eevee!" Angel said.
"Marill! Marill!" Marill said.
"So, how have you been?" Sora asked.
"Well, I won my Gym battles against Jasmine and Chuck," Ethan said, showing Sora the Mineral and Storm Badges. I heard you came in second in the Whirl Cup. Sorry to hear about that," Ethan said.
"Don't worry about it, Ethan. I gave it my all. But congrats on your wins in your Gym battles, Ethan," Sora said.
"Thanks, Sora," Ethan said.
"As for me, I was doing some dance routines with my Pokémon, someone came up to me and thought I was an actual singer!" Kris said. Lyra chuckled.
"Anyone who sees Kris at it would think that," Lyra said.
"But it pained me to disappoint her," Kris said.
"But we all did some practicing with our Keyblades and improving on our skills," Lyra said.
"But we also bumped into some Heartless and Nobodies along the way," Ethan said.
"And hearing about sightings of people wearing black hoods," Lyra said.
"Organization XIII," Tracey said.
"Right," Ethan confirmed.
"I'm not the least bit surprised," Riku said.
"If we learned about anything, it's that Organization XIII doesn't stay quiet for long," Leaf said.
"Right," Ash agreed. "The Organization won't hesitate to strike again."
"We should catch a boat to get us closer to Ecruteak City," Tracey said.
"Good idea. Let's get going," Sora said.
They boarded a boat which belonged to a young man with tanned skin and dark green hair. He wore a black shirt under a green overshirt, red shorts, white gloves, and sandals. He introduced himself as Mr. White.
"So, sounds like you're all pretty interested in Pokemon, huh?" Mr. White asked.
"Yeah," Sora said.
"We all are," Ethan said.
"I come from a place just up the river, and a lot of real unusual ones live in the forest nearby," Mr. White said. Ethan got an idea.
"Hey, if you could show us where it is, maybe we could stop and check it out," Ethan said.
"No problem. We can get off at the next stop, and I'll take you the rest of the way in my boat," Mr. White said.
"Great, thanks," Ethan said.
"Not a bad idea anyway. We can get some training done," Riku said.
"Eevee," Eevee agreed.
"And see all kinds of Pokémon living around here," Naminé said.
"That I like," Kairi said.
While everyone is talking, Pikachu, Angel, Eevee, and Marill saw something across the river.
"Are you guys seeing what I'm seeing?" - Marill subtitle.
"That's Suicune. There's no doubt about it." - Eevee said.
Everyone looks and soon sees Suicune before it runs away.
"Pika!" Pikachu said.
"Was that what think it was?" Sora asked.
"That looked like Suicune," Kairi said.
Everyone got off to make contact with Professor Oak when Mr. White made a stop.
"That's a definite possibility. Did it look anything like this?" Professor Oak asked, showing a picture of Suicune in a book.
"Yeah, that's it, professor," Sora said.
"Then you were right, it was a Suicune," Professor Oak said.
"Thought so," Sora said.
"As you know, Suicune is one of three Pokémon that were resurrected by Ho-Oh when the Bell Tower was burned. Suicune represents the rain that helped put out the fire that was placed. And according to folk tales, Suicune personifies the North Wind and it's believed to have the power to purify tainted waters," Professor Oak said.
"Just as Raikou represents the lightning that struck the Bell Tower, and Entei represents the fire that burned it," Sora said.
"Also, Suicune purifying the water sounds amazing," Kairi said.
"Believe me, everyone. Those tales are definitely true," Professor Oak said.
"If you say it is, then I won't argue with you. But have you ever seen one before?" Sora asked.
"Yes, I sure have. But only one time," Professor Oak said.
Just before anyone could ask where, Mr. White came up to the group.
"Hey, guys! Come on! We gotta go!" Mr. White called out.
"Sorry to cut this short, professor, but we gotta go," Sora said.
"Not a problem, Sora. And thank you for telling me," Professor Oak said. After Sora hung up, he holds the book and he sighed. "I wonder if I should've told them before they hung up."
Meanwhile, the group are seen speeding through the forest on the river.
"The quicker we can get into that forest, the quicker we can look for those Pokemon. Maybe even that Suicune," Ethan said.
Up above, Team Rocket spies on the group. They're flying by a giant pink paper airplane, the propeller in the back of which is operated by the pedaling of the Moron Trio.
"Those twerps won't get away now, they're right beneath us," Jessie said.
"Of course they're beneath us, they're twerps," James said.
"Now all we do is swoop in and swipe Pikachu," Meowth said. Jessie stopped peddling as she felt a cramp in one of her legs.
"Ow! Oh, something's wrong with my leg. All this peddling's giving me a cramp," Jessie cried.
"You can't cramp, we'll crash!" James said.
Team Rocket starts floating along in the air until a large gust of wind blows them away.
Meanwhile, the group reached a waterfall.
"Alright," Mr. White said.
"What do we do now?" Leaf asked.
"Doesn't look like we can go any further," Sakura said.
"Don't worry, girls. You'll see," Mr. White said. The floatation devices rise up and become balloons that allow the boat to float upward while a propeller comes out the back, amazing our heroes as they go up to the top of the waterfall.
"This is a way to travel," Lyra said.
"Here? Where?" Kris asked.
"Look closer," Mr. White said.
The group sees treehouses right beneath them.
"Are these treehouses?" Naminé asked.
"That's right, Naminé. Welcome to Arborville," Mr. White.
After the boat makes a landing, they soon walk through the same spot that the young boy from 40 years prior walked through.
"Looks like a tunnel ahead," Tracey said.
"Maybe there could be loads of Pokémon inside of there," Lyra said.
"Marill," Marill said.
"How about we have a lookie?" Ethan suggested.
"Stop right there!" The voice of an elderly woman called out. Everyone looks up and sees an elderly woman looking down on them. "I suppose you kids are heading into the forest to look for Pokemon."
"Yes, ma'am," Sora replied.
"Then you're gonna love what you see in there. My name's Diana, and that's my grandmother, Towa. She's been guarding the entrance to the forest since she was my age," Diana said.
"Listen for the voice of the forest...and if you hear it, stop and be still...or you will not get away," Towa said.
"The voice of the forest?" Kairi asked.
"I never heard of that," Riku said.
"It's an old village legend," Diana said.
"Yes, it's a legend, and a true one. If you hear the voice, stop where you are," Towa said.
"We'll be careful, and thanks for the warning, ma'am," Ash said.
"Okay, let's go," Sora said.
"Pika," Pikachu said.
"Pichu," both Pichu said.
Sora, Kairi, Riku, Naminé, Ash, Leaf, Ethan, Kris, Lyra, Tracey, Sakura, Pikachu, Angel, Eevee, Togepi, Azurill, the Pichu, and Marill ventured right inside the tunnel and looked around in the woods to the various Pokémon living in it.
"I wonder what Diana's grandmother meant by the voice of the forest. Maybe the sound of the wind, or the trees, the water or even the voices of the Pokémon," Tracey said.
"Come to think of it, it might be just about anything," Riku said.
"But what would happen if we don't hold still? Do we turn to stone or into trees or something?" Lyra asked.
"After what we've been through, I'd believe just about anything at this point," Tracey said.
"Me too, and I haven't been with you for so long," Sakura said.
The trees suddenly started to glow in an emerald green.
"What the heck is that?" Ash asked.
"I don't know," Kris said.
"Maybe it's the Voice of the Forest," Kairi said.
"Let's check it out," Ethan said as he rushed on ahead.
"Wait for me!" Kris and Lyra said, running after him.
"Shouldn't we hold still?" Riku asked.
"Guys, wait up!" Sora called out after them.
"Pika!" Pikachu called out as well.
"Pichu!" The Spiky-eared Pichu said.
"Pichu!" The Shiny Pichu said.
Sora, Pikachu, and the Pichu went after them.
"Sora!" Kairi called out, running after them, while carrying Togepi.
"Eevee!" Angel called out, also running after them.
"Toge, Toge!" Togepi chirped.
"Oh, nuts to this," Riku said, joining in the fray. Ash, Leaf, Naminé, Tracey, Sakura, Eevee, Azurill, and Marill followed them.
Up ahead at the shrine where the boy disappeared into time with Celebi forty years prior, the group spot and rush to the boy and Celebi as they reappear before the shrine. Celebi goes into hiding as they approach.
"It's a boy," Naminé said.
"Is he okay?" Sakura asked.
"I think he's breathing," Leaf said.
"But who is he?" Ash asked.
"And where did he come from?" Ethan asked.
"We'll worry about that after we take him with us," Sora said.
"Where?" Tracey asked.
"We should carry him right to Diana's grandma's house," Sora said.
"Good idea," Sora said. He carried the unconscious boy on his back. The group took off as Celebi rests behind the shrine before flying off.
A little while later, the group carried the boy back to the entrance of the forest and back to Arborville.
"Here it is!" Naminé said.
"Azurill, rill!" Azurill chirped.
"Diana! Diana! Help!" Tracey called out.
Diana and Towa came out of their treehouse when hearing Tracey calling out from below.
"Oh dear. What's happened?" Towa asked.
The boy starts coming to.
"He's waking up," Kairi said.
"Take it easy. You're going to be okay," Sora said, putting the boy down. When the boy woke up, and pushes Sora off.
"What'd you do with that Celebi?!" The boy yelled.
"Hey, settle down! I was trying to help you!" Sora said. The boy realized he's in the village and looked around.
"Who are you anyway?!" Ethan asked.
"And what's this about a Celebi?" Riku asked.
"Where, am I? How'd I get here?" The boy asked.
"I carried you here on my back, that's how," Sora said.
"What's going on?" Diana asked, climbing down.
"We found him unconscious when we were out in the forest," Leaf said.
Towa looked at the boy with great surprise and ran up to him.
"I can't believe it! It's really you. You've come back! Oh, thank goodness!" Towa cried.
"Uh, grandma. Where did he come back from?" Diana asked.
"Diana, I've told you the story about what happened when I was a young girl. A little boy disappeared from the forest," Towa said.
"But this boy can't be him," Diana said.
"Well, maybe it can't be, but it is," Towa said.
The boy looked at Towa, having a feeling about something. He then remembered the bread he got and he knew it was her.
"You're the girl who gave me the loaf of bread," the boy said.
"Yes," Towa replied.
Everyone all looked among themselves, confused and dumbfounded.
"Okay, won't someone mind filling us in on what's going on here?" Sora asked.
"I'm just as lost as the rest of them," Riku said.
"Perhaps you should all come inside. I'll explain everything," Towa said. After she explained everything to her guests, she hands him something wrapped in a cloth. "Here. I've kept it all these years just in case you ever came back.
He boy unravels the cloth to find his drawing pad.
"This is my sketch book. How?" The boy asked.
"You've been away on a forty year long journey, young man," Towa said.
"Forty years?" Kairi, Leaf, Kris, Lyra, and Sakura asked.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"Marill," Marill said.
"I'd be homesick in a year," Ash said. Sora, Riku, and Ethan just looked at him.
"Really?" Sora asked.
"Okay, not appropriate," Ash said.
"The question that's on my mind is what did she mean by a forty year journey," Riku said.
"The legend says the Voice of the Forest can catch a person and take them on a trip through time," Towa explained.
Sora, Kairi, Riku, Naminé, Ash, Leaf, Ethan, Kris, Lyra, Tracey, Sakura, and the Pokémon are shocked and amazed.
"Through time?!" Sora, Riku, Ash, and Ethan exclaimed.
"You mean to tell us that this kid came from the past?" Riku asked.
"I think what's being said, Riku," Naminé said.
Meanwhile, out in the forest, a giant robot stomps through. The Team Rocket member operated it as the Pokémon Hunter rode with him.
"Is this the place?" The Team Rocket member asked.
"Yes," the Hunter replied.
"Then I have no further use for you!" The Team Rocket member said as he kicked him off. He fell down to the ground. "You can do what you want with him now." The Pokemon Hunter managed to stand up, but he is greeted by a Neoshadow. He was frightened at the sight of the Heartless before him. Several Neoshadows appeared and surrounded him. The Pokémon Hunter screamed as they came at him. They grabbed him and started to dogpile him. He kept on screaming until the Neoshadows disappeared. There was nothing left but his eyepatch.
Back at the treehouse, the boy realizes Celebi isn't with him.
"Where's Celebi? What happened to Celebi?" The boy asked.
"Celebi?" Ash asked.
"Was there a Pokémon with me in the forest?" The boy asked.
"We didn't see any Pokémon with you. We were too concerned about you to even notice," Naminé said.
"The Pokémon you met that day was a Celebi?!" Towa exclaimed.
"Yes," the boy replied.
"We know Celebi as the voice of the forest, the spirit that protects it," Towa said.
"They say that Celebi can travel through time. You two must've been in danger and Celebi just picked the fastest way to get you out of it," Diana said.
"It must've escaped to our present and taken you along with it!" Tracey said.
"I'm afraid you're right. Celebi lives deep in the forest, in a place that we call the Lake of Life. That's probably where it's gone back to now," Towa said.
"I've got a feeling Celebi may still be hurt. I have to go back into that forest and find Celebi!" The boy said.
"Then we're going with you," Sora said. The boy looked at him and saw how determined he is. "Anyway, as long as you're here, I might as well introduce you. My name's Sora, and Pikachu here is my partner."
"I'm Sam," the boy introduced himself.
"My name's Kairi. And this is Angel and Togepi," Kairi introduced.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"My name's Ash."
"I'm Leaf."
"My name's Riku, and this is my partner, Eevee," Riku introduced.
"My name's Naminé, and this is Azurill."
"Azu, Azu," Azurill chirped.
"I'm Ethan."
"My name's Kris."
"I'm Lyra, and this is Marill," Lyra introduced.
"I'm Tracey."
"And I'm Sakura."
Meanwhile, Team Rocket is seen crashed in a tree.
"Our glider didn't glide very well," James said.
"Next time, we spring for a motor," Meowth said.
"I wonder where those twerps are," Jessie said.
"We may never know," Meowth said.
Meowth soon notices the group down below them. Jessie and James caught on quick. Their faces all lit up.
"Well, well. I can't believe my eyes," Jessie
"Looks like it's a good thing we crashed after all, eh, Meowth?" James asked.
"Come on, let's get down dere and tail those twerps!" Meowth said.
Down on the ground, Pikachu and Eevee senses something and runs ahead.
"What's up, Eevee?" Riku asked.
"They're onto something," Sora said.
They follow Pikachu and Eevee until they stopped. Lyra was the first to look up.
"Guys, look up there!" Lyra said.
"Marill," Marill said.
Everyone looks up and sees some Pokemon in front of a hole in a giant fallen tree.
"The Pokémon are all together," Sam said.
Something has grabbed their attention," Ethan said.
Sora and Riku climbed up a vine onto the tree.
"I'm coming, too!" Sam said.
"Don't overdo it," Naminé said.
The three boys quickly climb up the vine.
"Sora climbs just like a Mankey," Kris said.
"A cute one, too," Kairi said.
They soon near the top. Sam slips, but Riku catches him.
"Sam, maybe you should wait down there with the others," Riku said.
"No, I have to find Celebi. I couldn't protect it before so I gotta help it now," Sam said. Sam climbs further up. Sora climbs up next to Sam.
"I know how you feel, Sam, but...take it easy," Sora said. He climbs further up. Soon, Sora reaches the top where the Pokémon await. Sora peers into the hole and finds Celebi before Riku and Sam joins him. "You're what all the fuss was about," Sora said.
"So, this is a Celebi," Riku said, taking out his Pokédex and scanned it.
Celebi, the Time Travel Pokémon
Type: Grass/Psychic
This Pokémon has the ability to move through time. Records describing it as a forest deity can be found from many different eras.
As Riku puts it away, Sam reaches for Celebi, but both boys get knocked back by Celebi's power, with Sora being knocked back the farthest.
"Ow, what'd you do that for?!" Sora exclaimed.
Ash quickly climbs up, clearly unhappy
"I think Sora just evolved into a Primeape," Ethan said.
"And I wouldn't want to see him as an Annihilape," Ash said.
"He'd still be cute," Kairi said.
"Take it easy! We're only trying to help you!" Sora said.
Celebi uses its power to create vines and uses them to smack Sora, Riku, and Sam hard.
"Ow, ow, ow, ow, ow, ow!" Sora exclaimed.
"What are you doing?!" Riku exclaimed.
Pikachu and Eevee prepares to attack with Thunderbolt and Shadow Ball.
"No, Pikachu, Eevee, don't!" Sam said. He looked at Sora and Riku. "Don't be mad at it. It's just afraid. And it's hurt, too. A Hunter attacked it, that's why it's scared."
"Okay. Here goes," Sora said.
Sora approaches again.
"Celebi, we're your friends. We don't want to hurt you. We just want to help you," Sora said.
"Yeah. I tried to help you before. Don't you remember, Celebi? I got you away from the Pokemon Hunter," Sam said.
"It's okay. You just take it easy," Sora said.
"And we will, too," Sam said.
"Here," Sora said, reaching his hand.
Once Sora touches Celebi, it starts to calm down enough for Sam to pick it up and all the Pokémon approach afterwards.
"You're safe with me, Celebi," Sam said.
Celebi soon loses consciousness. Soon, the group started to run through the forest, heading to the Pokémon Center to have Celebi healed.
"Guys, it seems really weak," Sakura said.
"We better hurry! We'll take it to a Pokémon Center!" Tracey said.
A Team Rocket branded smoke bomb drops in front of them, bringing everyone to a stop.
"Who are they?" Sam asked.
"Really? Now?" Sora asked, annoyed.
"Prepare for trouble, your future looks grim!" Jessie said.
"And we're not afraid to go out on a limb!" James said.

"Team Rocket, blast off at the speed of light!"
James laughed.
"Surrender now, or prepare to fight!"
"Meowth! That's right!"
"Wobbu, Wobbuffet!"
As Wobbuffet lands, the branch Team Rocket is standing on breaks and the group decide to move on after they hit the ground.
"Do you think they're gonna be okay?" Sam asked.
"Unfortunately, yes," Leaf said.
"But forget about them," Sakura said.
"Seriously, you should get lost," Riku said.
"You twerps got lucky this time!" Jessie called out.
"They're always lucky!" James said.
"Wobbuffet!" Wobbuffet agreed. Jessie
"Don't press your luck, blob-o," Jessie said as she called Wobbuffet back.
The group were getting closer and closer to the village.
"Hang in there, Celebi," Sam said.
"The village is just up ahead!" Ash said.
"You think Nurse Joy can treat Celebi?" Kris asked.
"We just have to try," Naminé said.
"She's right. Nurse Joy will think of something," Lyra said.
Suddenly, a giant mecha blocks their path, making everyone stop.
"I've been looking for that little Celebi!" The Team Rocket member said.
"Who are you?!" Sora exclaimed.
"A Pokémon lover," the Team Rocket member replied.
"You sure have a funny way of showing it," Sora said.
"What does he want?!" Jessie said.
"He must be trying to steal our Pikachu away!" Meowth exclaimed.
"Well, we won't let him!" James said as he gets out a Pokéball and threw it.
Weezing came on out as the Team Rocket member pulls out a Dark Ball and brings out his evil Tyranitar. Riku sensed something about this Tyranitar.
"What is that?" Sakura asked.
"A Tyranitar, but I sense something wrong with it! Something evil!" Riku said.
"Hyper Beam!" The Team Rocket member ordered. Tyranitar fires Hyper Beam, making everyone scatter, but Naminé tripped and twists her knee. Riku ran up to his girlfriend with concern.
"Naminé!" Riku exclaimed.
"I twisted my knee," Naminé said.
"Here it comes!" Tracey said.
"Hurry!" Sakura said.
Tyranitar prepares to fire another Hyper Beam, but is blinded by a Smokescreen from Weezing.
"Two can play the Celebi stealing game!" Jessie said.
One Hyper Beam from Tyranitar quickly blasts the smoke away and knocks Team Rocket back before both the Team Rocket member his evil Tyranitar approach.
"Who are you three?" The Team Rocket member asked.
Team Rocket soon realizes who they're looking at.
"That mask! I've seen him before!" Jessie gasped.
"Yeah, he's from Team Rocket, ain't he?" Meowth asked.
"Yeah, and he's a big legend in Team Rocket! It's-" James said before Jessie and Meowth pitched in.
"THE IRON-MASKED MARAUDER!" Jessie, James, and Meowth said all at once.
"So you heard about me," Marauder said.
Team Rocket quickly runs up to their comrade.
"Oh, yes, we heard a lot about you," Jessie said.
"As you can tell from the uniforms, we also represent Team Rocket," James said.
"Me too, but Pokémon get to go naked," Meowth said.
Marauder chuckles and brings out two more Dark Balls.
"Go!" Marauder shouted. From the Dark Balls, a Scizor and a Sneasel came out of their Dark Balls, awaiting orders. "Find that Celebi, and take out anything that gets in your way! That includes those kids!" Scizor and Sneasel nodded and started to follow the group.
Meanwhile, the keep running. Naminé is being carried by Riku. She holds him by his back.
"You sure you're okay, Naminé?" Riku asked.
"I'm fine, Riku," Naminé said.
"I think we're far enough," Tracey said.
Marill's ears perk up.
"Marill!" Marill said.
"Something's coming!" Lyra said.
Suddenly, the Marauder's Sneasel and Scizor leap out. Riku sensed the same vibe from Tyranitar coming from Scizor and Sneasel.
"A Sneasel and a Scizor, but they're giving off the same funk as that Tyranitar," Riku said.
"What do they want?" Ethan asked.
"They must be after Celebi," Tracey said.
"He's right. That masked guy must have sent them here," Ash said.
"Well, they're going to have a battle on their hands," Sora said, taking out a Pokéball.
"Yeah!" Ash and Ethan agreed.
"Count me in! That guy's gonna pay for hurting Naminé like that!" Riku said, taking out a Pokéball.
"Not letting you boys have all the fun!" Kairi said, taking out a Pokéball.
"I'm in, too!" Leaf said.
"Me too!" Kris said.
"Yeah!" Lyra and Sakura said. Sam decides to join in.
"Tracey, keep Celebi safe," Sam said.
"Sure," Tracey said.
Sam puts down his backpack and gets out an odd looking device.
"I'm with you guys, too!" Sam said, joining in. Sam turns the knob on the device, and from it emerged a Charmeleon, indicating that it was a Pokéball. Sora threw his Pokéball.
"Go! Bayleef!" Sora called out
"Go! Flaaffy!" Kairi called out.
"Go! Gliscor!" Riku called out.
"Go! Hitmonlee!" Ash called out.
"Go! Golduck!" Leaf called out.
"Go! Heracross!" Ethan called out.
"Go! Pink!" Kris called out.
"Go! Sunflora!" Lyra called out.
"Go! Espeon!" Sakura called out.
The Pokémon came right out to battle against the Marauder's Sneasel and Scizor.
"Gliscor! Use Night Slash on Scizor!" Riku ordered. Gliscor came at Scizor and it easily dodged.
Both Sneasel and Scizor charge, and while Flaaffy, Golduck, Gliscor Sunflora, Pink, and Charmeleon deals with Sneasel, Bayleef, Hitmonlee, Heracross, and Espeon leads Scizor away.
"Hitmonlee! Use Blaze Kick!" Ash ordered. Hitmonlee came at Scizor with his leg emitting fire. Scizor attacks with a Slash.
"Heracross! Use Arm Thrust!" Ethan ordered. Heracross came at Scizor and pushes its hands forward. Scizor dodges.
Over to Sneasel, Kairi stepped in.
"Use Signal Beam!" Kairi ordered. Flaaffy fired Signal Beam right at Sneasel, but dodged.
"Pink! Use Gyro Ball!" Kris ordered. The Jigglypuff spins around and heads right for Sneasel, but it dodged and slashed at Pink, dealing some damage.
"Gliscor! Use X-Scissor!" Riku ordered. Gliscor came at Sneasel and slashed at Sneasel. It took some damage, but still stood its ground.
"Sunflora! Use Razor Leaf!" Lyra ordered. Sunflora fires a Razor Leaf, and Sneasel slashes the leaves coming at it.
"Golduck! Use Power Gem!" Leaf ordered. Golduck fired a Power Gem, but Sneasel dodged.
"Use Slash!" Sam ordered. Charmeleon slashes at Sneasel.
"Espeon! Use Psybeam!" Sakura ordered. Espeon fired Psybeam and it attacked with a Slash. Scizor then uses Double Team.
"That's Double Team!" Sora said.
"Heracross! Use Megahorn!" Ethan ordered. Heracross came at Scizor and missed.
"Hitmonlee! Use Low Sweep!" Ash ordered. Hitmonlee came at Scizor, but missed.
"Use Razor Leaf!" Sora ordered. Bayleef fired Razor Leaf and missed. Scizor manages to pull a fast one and strikes Bayleef. "Bayleef!"
"Sora, get your head in the game!" Ash said.
"He's right. Double Team makes it harder for Bayleef to land a hit," Sam said.
"And you're right," Sora said. He turned to Bayleef. "Bayleef, listen! You gotta concentrate, then you can find the real one!"
Bayleef closed her eyes and concentrate until she detects the real Scizor, allowing Bayleef the chance to strike with a well-timed Razor Leaf. Scizor was now revealed. Bayleef smacked a Vine Whip. Scizor attempts to attack again.
"Hitmonlee! Blaze Kick!" Ash ordered. Hitmonlee gave a blazing kick on Scizor.
"Use Arm Thrust!" Ethan ordered. Heracross gave a couple of thrusts hands onto Scizor.
"Espeon! Use Psychic Fangs!" Sakura ordered. Espeon came at Scizor and lands a psychic bite.
"Great job!" Sora said.
"You're not a bad Trainer, Sora," Sam complimented.
"I had some practice," Sora said.
"Guys, focus!" Riku said.
Sneasel came at Charmeleon with a few slashes, but the Flame Pokémon dodges.
"Charmeleon! Use Headbutt!" Sam ordered. Charmeleon headbutts into Sneasel and hits a rock. Sneasel gets back up.
"Sunflora! Use Seed Bomb!" Lyra ordered. Sunflora fired a Seed Bomb and hits Sneasel hard.
"Pink! Use Double Slap!" Kris ordered. Pink slaps Sneasel silly repeatedly. Sneasel came at the Jigglypuff with a Slash.
"Golduck! Use Aqua Tail!" Leaf ordered. Golduck swings tail while emitting water. Sneasel is struck hard.
"Flaaffy! Use Thunderbolt!" Kairi ordered. Flaaffy fired Thunderbolt and struck Sneasel.
"Gliscor! Use Aerial Ace!" Riku ordered. Gliscor flew at Sneasel and finished it off.
"Way to go, everyone!" Tracey said.
"You're all great Trainers," Sam said.
"You too, Sam," Riku praised. He looked at the beaten Pokémon. "Now to make sure they don't follow us."
A little while later, the Marauder's walker comes in with Team Rocket aboard and he finds his Pokemon tied up.
"Those kids aren't as wimpy as I thought they'd be. Particularly the kids. This makes things interesting," the Marauder said.
