Episode 174: The Kecleon Caper!
A few days came and went after the whole Celebi incident. Sora, Kairi, Ash, Leaf, Tracey, Sakura, Pikachu, Angel, Togepi, and the Pichu said their goodbyes to Riku, Naminé, Ethan, Kris, Lyra, Eevee, Azurill, and Marill for now and separated for the time being.
Sora exchanged Dudunsparce for Sudowoodo.
After a little while, they made a stop to pick some berries for Kairi to make some Pokémon food for later. As they kept picking berries, they're approached by a familiar young man.
"Sora, Kairi?" The young man asked. They all turned around and they saw it was Harold. They haven't seen him since the bike bridge business.
"Harold!" Sora said.
"Long time no see!" Kairi said.
"It feels like forever," Harold said. He looked at Pikachu and Angel. "And you both look very well, Pikachu, Angel."
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"You know this guy?" Sakura asked.
"Yeah. Harold, meet our friends, Tracey, a Pokémon Watcher, and Sakura, the youngest of five sisters.," Kairi introduced.
"And this is Ash and Leaf. I knew them from my childhood," Sora said. "Guys, this is Harold. A budding Pokémon doctor."
"Nice to meet you, Harold," Ash said.
"Likewise," Harold said.
"Still traveling around, Harold?" Kairi asked.
"You know it, Kairi," Harold said.
"How do you know him?" Tracey asked.
"It was a pretty short time after Kairi and I got started on our Pokémon journey, and we ended up in a forest. Harold would easily get lost," Sora said.
"Hey, that's not true," Harold said, chuckled nervously.
"We stumbled on a Pokémon prep school for mostly rich kids, and he went up against a girl named Giselle and lost," Kairi said.
"We met him again when we came across a village for injured and abandoned Pokémon occupied by another girl named Melanie. She took care of the injured and abandoned Pokémon and left after they felt better. A Bulbasaur was protecting the village himself," Sora explained. Ash and Leaf looked at each other.
"Wait, you said a Bulbasaur. Was that Bulbasaur you had before he evolved the same one at the village?" Ash asked.
"Yeah, he was," Sora said. "He didn't like Pokémon Trainers in general. I should know because Bulbasaur stopped me from catching an Oddish and tackled me when I was just talking to the same Oddish."
"But he changed his mind after Sora annihilated the Heartless that attacked the village," Kairi said. Harold stammered.
"You sure you wanna bring that up?" Harold asked.
"It's okay, Harold. They know," Sora assured. "And-" Kairi, Ash, and Leaf all summoned their Keyblades, surprising Harold. "I'm not the only one if you're thinking that."
"Keyblades. There goes the neighborhood," Harold said. They explained about Riku, Ethan, Kris, and Lyra each having a Keyblade, and about Organization XIII and the Nobodies. "Wow, you guys sure have a lot on your plate. And I thought Team Rocket and the Heartless were something to worry about."
"You're not the only one who thinks that," Leaf said.
"Sora and Kairi had some interactions with some members of the Organization, and I've seen what some of them can do," Tracey said.
"Organization XIII sounds like they could make Team Rocket look like petty crooks," Harold said.
"No kidding," Ash said.
"But it's nothing you can't handle. I mean, Sora came out on top in the Indigo Plateau Pokémon League. Congratulations on that win, Sora," Harold said.
"Thanks, but Ash came very close in beating me," Sora said. Ash smiled.
"We both gave it everything we had," Ash said, hi-fiving each other.
"That's what I like to see. Two Trainers still friends after a fierce competition," Harold said.
Suddenly, without warning, a giant blimp overshadows everyone.
"What is that?" Sakura asked.
"It looks like a blimp," Sora said.
"Technically, it's called a dirigible. I didn't think they still made those," Harold said.
"Where is it heading?" Kairi asked.
"It must be heading for the big air station that's just up ahead the road from here," Harold said.
"We should check it out," Sora said.
"This should be interesting," Kairi said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"Pichu," the Spiky-eared Pichu said.
"Pichu," the Shiny Pichu said.
"Toge, Toge!" Togepi chirped.
"There's no harm in looking," Tracey said.
"Come on, everyone. Let's go," Sakura said.
"She's right. What are we waiting for?" Ash asked.
"Yeah," Leaf agreed.
With that said, Sora, Kairi, Ash, Leaf, Tracey, Sakura, and the Pokémon heads right for where the dirigible was heading.
They followed the dirigible right to the air station and end up among the crowd that's gathering around.
"So, what's all the excitement about?" Sora asked.
"Since you asked, it's the Leviathan 2 on its maiden voyage circumnavigating the globe," a man said.
"Maiden voyage?" Kairi asked.
"Wow, and I thought it was a cargo carrier," Tracey said.
"Looks like you were wrong, Tracey," Ash said.
"It's 200 meters long, carries a crew of sixty, and 200 passengers. It's got all-luxury suites, three gourmet restaurants, even a theater! It's like a five star floating hotel!" The man said.
"Wow, now that's impressive," Sakura said.
"Took the words right out of my mouth, Sakura," Leaf said.
"I wonder what it looks like on the inside," Harold said.
One of the crew comes down from the dirigible and turns to the crowd.
"May I have your attention, please? Is there a Pokémon doctor here in the crowd? We have a situation on board," the crewman said. Sora and his friends comes up to the crewman.
"What kind of situation are you talking about?" Sora asked.
"Two of our passengers' Pokémon aren't feeling very well and they need help," the crewman said.
"Sick Pokémon?" Sora asked.
"Unfortunately, we don't have a Pokémon doctor on board, and the nearest Pokémon Center is in Olivine City, and their airport can't handle a ship this size," the crewman said.
"I can take a look at the Pokémon," Harold said. The crewman looked at Harold.
"You're a doctor?" The crewman asked.
"Just a doctor-in-training, but I have some remedies that can help," Harold said.
"I don't doubt it. Come on aboard," the crewman said, gesturing to the group.
Sora, Kairi, Ash, Leaf, Tracey, Sakura, Pikachu, Angel, Togepi, and the Pichu looked around and saw how amazing it looked.
"Wow, it does like like a five-star floating hotel," Leaf said.
"I'll say," Sora said.
Up ahead are two young women each wearing a very expensive dress. One has red hair and wore a blue dress and blue heels. The other has black hair and wore a pink dress with pink heels.
"These are the passengers whose Pokémon have been feeling under the weather," the crewman said.
"My name is Madison and this is my sister, Alexa, and we're very glad you're here," Madison said.
"Of course. My name is Harold, and I'm a Pokémon doctor-in-training. Now what seems to be the problem, ladies?" Harold asked.
"I'm afraid riding in this blimp has made our Pokemon a tad air sick," Madison said.
"I see. And what kind of Pokémon are they, if I may ask?" Harold asked.
"Greeny and Reddy are our adorable little Kecleon," Madison said.
"Kecleon?" Kairi asked.
"Where are they?" Sakura asked.
"Oh, Greeny? Reddy? Come on out. Someone's here to make you feel better," Madison said.
Both Pokémon soon reveal themselves, having been camouflaged until called for. One Kecleon is green, and one Kecleon is purple.
"Ah, so those are Kecleon. First time I've ever seen any up close," Harold said.
The purple Kecleon approaches Madison.
"This is my darling Reddy," Madison said.
The green Kecleon approaches Alexa.
"And this is my sweet Greeny," Alexa said.
"Kecleon. Let's see," Sora said, taking out his Pokédex and scanned them.
Kecleon, the Color Swap Pokémon
Type: Normal
Kecleon blends into its surroundings with camouflage to avoid predators and ambush prey. The pattern on Kecleon's belly remains visible despite its camouflage.
"Second time I've seen this kind of Pokémon," Sora said.
"How long have been experiencing this sickness?" Harold asked.
"They were both fine until, last night," Alexa said.
"It was extremely windy and the blimp rolled from side to side for hours," Madison said.
"Just a case of motion sickness. Luckily, I have the remedy for such a thing," Harold said, taking out a jar of pills. "Here, one for each of you." The Kecleon swallowed the pills given to them. "Here's something to settle those restless tummies and then Harold's Vita-Burger, my tasty, nutritional supplement packed with with vitamins and minerals." He feeds the Kecleon one each. They swallowed the vita-burgers and felt better instantly. "There! Good as new!"
Outside the dirigible, Team Rocket stands on top of it.
"I heard it was big, but I must say I never expected anything quite this big!" Jessie said.
"This thing is gigantic. I bet you could play a game of soccer up here," James said.
"How could you play soccer here? If a player missed a pass, the ball would roll right off the side," Meowth said.
"Well, what about baseball?" James asked.
"Maybe, but I'd hate to have to chase a fowl ball up on this," Meowth said. Jessie was getting annoyed by the banter between her colleagues.
"Oh, will you stop blathering? We have here a once in a lifetime chance to acquire a new base of operations," Jessie said.
"Yeah!" James agreed.
"Let's get to work!" Meowth said.
"If things go well, Team Rocket will finally be able to travel the skies in style!" Jessie said. Team Rocket lets down a rope and climbs down to the ground.
"This would be a thousand times better than that ratty, old Meowth balloon," James said.
"It's got restaurants and boutiques and pulsating showerheads," Jessie said.
"It's like a flying hotel!" Meowth said.
"Let's go check in the cockpit and check it out," James said.
Team Rocket jumps off the rope and heads for the cockpit. They go underneath the dirigible and go through a passageway. They successfully snuck in the cockpit.
"Luckily for us, the crew's nowhere in sight," Jessie said.
"What're we waiting for?" Meowth asked.
They stepped in and approached the controls.
"All one of us has to do now is get the engine started, take to the air and we're home free!" James said.
"Go right ahead!" Team Rocket said as they point ahead of themselves.
Meowth realized that he doesn't know how to operate a blimp.
"I don't know how to drive a blimp, do you?" Meowth asked.
"Unfortunately, our plan to commandeer this luxurious aircraft was nothing but a lot of hot air," James said.
Team Rocket sighed as they hung their heads in defeat. Morons.
"Alright, then. We'll have to go to our plan B. If we can't steal the thing itself, we'll just steal everything in it. With the prices they charge, the passengers should be loaded with goodies," Jessie said.
"Sounds good to me!" Meowth said.
"I was so looking forward to sleeping on a mattress tonight," James groaned.
"After we steal all the loot on board, you can sell your share and sleep on your wallet," Jessie said.
"Well, Harold, my Reddy seems healthy as ever," Madison said.
"And so does Greeny," Alexa added.
"Happy to help," Harold said.
"And we all have you to thank," Madison said. She turned to the crewman. "Could you take them back to my state room for their afternoon nap?"
"I'd be glad to, miss. Right this way," the crewman said, gesturing the Kecleon to come.
"I've been admiring your Pikachu and Eevee," Madison said.
"And your Togepi and those two Pichu are simply darling," Alexa said.
"Thanks," Sora said.
"Your Kecleon are very cute, too," Kairi said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"That pink ribbon your Eevee's wearing is adorable," Madison said.
"Thank you. Angel loves it so much," Kairi said.
"Your Eevee's name is Angel? That's just as cute," Alexa said.
"Say, don't you have a Marill and a Smeargle, Tracey?" Sakura asked.
"I do," Tracey said, taking out his Pokéballs and lets them both out. "And here they are."
Madison's state room, the Kecleon sense someone coming, so they both go into hiding when the door opens and Team Rocket peeks in.
"Come on, nobody's home," Jessie said. They started to look around for any valuables. "Let's see." She opens the closet and sees the various dresses in it. "Nice material."
Greeny peeks out to see what they're doing. Meowth finds a blue box.
"Hey, I think I found something here!" Meowth said.
"Ooh, open it up, open it up!" Jessie said.
Meowth opens the case and they find jewels inside.
"I ain't seen jewelry like this since I watched late night cable TV!" Meowth said.
"Their beauty would compliment my beauty just perfectly!" Jessie said.
"And my bottle cap collection would look great in that box!" James said.
Suddenly, a long, pink tongue grabs the jewelry case. It's soon revealed to be Greeny who grabbed it.
"Hey! What's the big idea, buster?!" Jessie exclaimed.
"Say, isn't that a Kecleon?" James asked.
"I don't care if that Pokémon is a Magikarp, it ain't got no right to steal stuff dat we're trying to steal!" Meowth said.
"That's right! We stole it first, so open up that trap and give it back!" Jessie demanded.
Jessie and James try to get Greeny's mouth open when the crewman comes in with a bowl of Pokémon food.
"I brought you a little snack, compliments of the..." The crewman said as he sees Team Rocket, and they see him, too. "Is there a problem with the Kecleon?"
"YEAH! Ya gotta help us! It's got a jewel box in it's mouth that we were trying tah steal!" Meowth said. The crewman got suspicious.
"TRYING TO STEAL?" The Crewman asked.
Meowth worries, knowing he blew his and his teammates' cover.
"Idiot!" James yelled.
"I don't believe I've seen you on board before, what's your room number?" The crewman asked. Team Rocket quickly amscrays out of the room. "I'll have to call the security officer!" As the crewman speaks, Greeny hops off the bed and goes invisible. He looks for Greeny and Reddy but can't find them. "Where'd those Kecleon go?"
Unbeknown to the crewman, both Kecleon sneak out of the room.
Back with Sora, Kairi, Ash, Leaf, Tracey, and Sakura, they let out Ambipom, Sudowoodo, Larvitar, Flaaffy, Jumpluff, Corsola, and Sunflora.
"Such a happy-looking Sunflora," Madison said.
"Flaaffy, Jumpluff, Ambipom, Larvitar and Sudowoodo are simply cuddle-icious!" Alex said.
"Thank you," Kairi said.
The crewman came running up to Madison and Alexa came running like a madman.
"Miss Madison! Miss Alexa! I'm sorry to bother you but the Kecleon got loose and one of them has a jewelry box in its mouth and we can't find it," the crewman said.
"Is it my Reddy?" Madison asked.
"Or my Greeny?" Alexa asked.
"I believe it was Greeny, but I'm not positive. There were some suspicious characters in your room and I was momentarily distracted," the crewman said.
"Suspicious characters?" Sora asked, getting suspicious.
Soon, another crewman and a passenger approach.
"Pardon me, ladies, but one of your Kecleon just slipped into this gentleman's state room, grabbed his first aid kit with its tongue and ran off somewhere," the other crewman said.
"I wonder what's gotten into those two," Madison and Alexa said.
"Was it Greeny or Reddy who took the first aid kit?" Madison asked.
"We believe it was Reddy, but we're not certain," the second crewman said.
"I hope they're still aboard, ladies, because we'll be finished refueling and stocking the ship with provisions and ready for take off in two hours," the first crewman said.
"In two hours?" Madison and Alexa asked.
"Okay, this is getting fishy. We got two Kecleon out on the loose, and one of them has taken something, and we got some suspicious people on board. Something is definitely up," Sora said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
"What do we do, Madison? Reddy and Greeny are absolute masters at playing hide and seek," Alexa said.
"The last time they disappeared like this, it took the police nearly a week and a half to find them!" Madison said.
"Don't worry, ladies. We'll find Reddy and Greeny for you," Sora said.
"Oh, thank you all," Madison said.
"We better get started," Alexa said.
"Pika, Pika," Pikachu said.
"Eevee, vee," Angel said.
"We can cover more ground if we split up," Harold said.
"He's right. Tracey, Harold, Sakura, you try starting with Madison and Alexa's room in case they came back. If they're not there, you can try searching some of the other rooms," Sora said.
"You can count on us, Sora," Harold said.
"The rest of us will search everywhere else," Sora said.
"Kecleon are tricky Pokémon. They could just turn invisible and run off," Leaf said.
"You're right, but the only thing they can't make invisible is the pattern on their bellies, so that should be their only giveaway. We got less than two hours to search, so we gotta hurry up. Let's go," Sora said.
Team Rocket has disguised themselves as a couple of crewmembers to find the Kecleon out on the loose.
"These uniforms should make it easier to find that Kecleon and get that jewelry box back," Jessie said.
"I know what's gonna happen. We're gonna knock ourselves out looking for that Kecleon, and when we get it, we'll bring it to the boss. The boss will say 'Well, that certainly is a rare and valuable Pokémon, but haven't you brought me anyting else?' And that's when Kecleon will roll out its tongue, and sitting on the end of it will be a jewelry box jam packed with a dazzling array of glittering gems and we'll be the big heroes for a change!"
"That kind of change, I could get used to. Especially when the boss takes us off of the debts we owe," James said.
"Then what are we waiting for, team? Let's go!" Jessie said.
Harold, Sakura, and Tracey arrived to the sisters' room and searched for the Kecleon.
"They're not here," Harold said.
"I hope Sora and the others are having better luck than we are," Sakura said.
Over to Sora, Kairi, Ash, Leaf, and the Pokémon, they looked around for any signs of the chameleon Pokémon. they
"They should be around here somewhere," Ash said.
"Keep your eyes peeled. They might come out at any moment," Sora said.
Everyone Kairi, Ash, and Leaf agreed with Sora as they kept their eyes opened for any signs of Reddy and Greeny. Pikachu soon spots the red stripe of a Kecleon, but doesn't know it's one of them.
"This is weird." - Pikachu subtitle.
They started to search the restaurant area. They all looked under the tables and they saw nothing.
"No sign of them anywhere," Kairi said, looking under one table.
"I hope Tracey, Harold, and Sakura had better luck than we did," Ash said.
"Me too. But can't give up now," Sora said.
Pikachu looks around and he spots the red stripe moving. The Mouse Pokémon sees the stripe moving, and it stops.
"Angel, I found one of them." - Pikachu said. Angel turned and sees the stripe and nods.
"Eevee! Eevee, Eevee, Eevee!" Angel said.
"Angel, what is it?" Kairi asked.
"Eevee!" Angel said, pointing to the stripe.
The Kecleon is revealed to be Greeny.
"Pika!" Pikachu said.
"Good work, you two!" Sora said. Greeny ran away again. "Wait, come back!"
Sora, Kairi, Ash, Leaf, Pikachu, Angel, Togepi, and the Pichu gave chase. They run out of the restaurant area and right into a hall. Greeny is nowhere to be seen.
"Gone," Ash said.
"Man, who would have thought Kecleon were fast?" Sora asked.
"They're pretty slippery," Leaf said.
Unknown to them, Greeny is hiding right up the ceiling above them. Greeny waits for them to leave before coming back down.
Over to Team Rocket, they search in the cargo area.
"Where could that thing have disappeared to? Jessie asked.
"Come out, come out, wherever you are," James said.
Meowth soon opens a crate and finds Reddy.
"Hey! Guys! I found the Kecleon!" Meowth said.
"Good work, Meowth!" Jessie said.
"Excellent," James said. Jessie picks up Reddy and shakes it.
"Alright, come on! Open up that mouth of yours! Let's go! Open wide! Quit stalling!" Jessie demanded. Reddy opens its mouth. "Well, that was easy."
"Great! Now stick out that tongue and let's see that jewelry box!" James said.
Reddy sticks out its tongue, but reveals it had a first aid kit.
"Hey, that isn't the jewelry box we're after. That looks like a first aid kit," Jessie said.
"Maybe it swallowed the jewelry and needs first aid," James said.
"Wait. Wasn't the one who swiped the jewel box green?" Meowth asked as Greeny peeks in.
"Like that one?" Jessie asked.
Greeny ran away from the Moron Trio.
"There! That's the one we want, guys! The green one! That's the Kecleon that's got all da jewelry!" Meowth said.
Reddy quickly leaps out of Jessie's arms and hands and makes a break for it.
"Hey! Get that Kecleon!" Jessie said.
"Who's there?!" Sora's voice shouted. Team Rocket stopped in their tracks.
"Crap! The twerps!" James exclaimed.
"Hide!" Jessie said. Thinking quick, they jumped in a crate, but they ended being cramped inside. "Nobody move, nobody say anything." They stayed quiet for as much as possible. Sora, Kairi, Ash, Leaf, and the Pokémon stepped in.
"Could have sworn I heard a familiar voice in here," Sora said.
"I heard it, too," Kairi said.
"Pika," Pikachu said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"Pichu," the Shiny Pichu said.
"Pichu," the Spiky-eared Pichu said.
"Toge, Toge," Togepi chirped.
"We can't worry about that. We gotta find those Kecleon and fast," Ash said.
"You're right. One of them has to be in here," Sora said.
"Well, let's start looking in here," Leaf suggested.
"Good idea, that's what we'll do," Sora said.
"Now they've got us playing hide and seek," Jessie whispered.
"Quiet," James said while squished.
"SORA, KAIRI, LEAF, ASH! ONE OF THE KECLEON IS OUT HERE!" Tracey shouted from outside.
"Tracey!" Sora, Kairi, Ash, and Leaf said, running out. The Pokémon followed them out.
"I think they're gone," Jessie said. The sound of a Pokéball opening is heard, and the crate gets wider.
"Wobbuffet!" Wobbuffet said from the inside.
"It's crowded enough without you popping out!" Jessie said.
"Ow! Which one of you poked me on my back?!" Meowth yelled.
"Quit wiggling around!" James yelled.
The crate breaks apart, making them collapse. Jessie calls Wobbuffet back.
All of the passengers are outside the dirigible. Tracey, Harold, and Sakura are standing next to Madison and Alexa.
"Greeny! Greeny, come down" Madison called out as Sora, Kairi, Ash, Leaf, and the Pokémon came out.
"Where's Greeny?" Sora asked.
"Up there!" Madison said, pointing up. They turned to see the green Kecleon climb up.
"She climbed up there?!" Kairi exclaimed.
"The ladders won't reach her," Tracey said. Kairi takes out a Pokéball.
"No, but Jumpluff can," Kairi said. She threw it up in the air. "Go! Jumpluff!" The Pokéball opens and Jumpluff came right out. "Float up and grab Greeny!" Jumpluff floats up to catch up with Greeny. Jumpluff attempts to grab Greeny, but she climbs further up until she climbed all the way to the top. Team Rocket climbs up the other side and spots her.
"There it is!" James said.
"Trapped like a Rattata," Jessie said.
"You got nowhere to run," Meowth said.
"Grab it before it runs away again," Jessie said. Just as James takes one step forward, Greeny starts to run again.
"Hey! Hold it!" James shouted as he chased after her. "Slow down!" Jessie and Meowth joined in the chase. Greeny kept on running until she stopped. "I think it's finally given up!"
But Greeny smiles cheekily as Team Rocket realizes they're on the side of the dirigible and start sliding off before landing with a crash, one that Sora and his friends hears.
"I know I heard something this time, but sounded like a crash," Sora said.said.
"Yeah, but what?" Sakura asked. Greeny slides down. Pikachu and Angel spots her.
"Pika!" Pikachu said.
"Vee!" Angel said.
Leaf looks up and spots Greeny.
"There's Greeny!" Leaf said.
"Don't let her get away!" Tracey said.
"Greeny!" Everyone shouted as they chased after Greeny inside the air station, but they're on a different level than the Kecleon.
"Greeny!" Alexa called out.
"Reddy!" Madison called out.
"Here we go again," Harold said.
"Madison and Alexa did say they're masters at playing hide and seek," Kairi said.
"We better hurry and find them before it's too late," Ash said.
Over to Team Rocket in another part of the air station.
"It must be down here, somewhere," Jessie said. They soon spot Reddy. "There's the Kecleon we've been looking for!"
Soon, Greeny comes in, confusing Team Rocket.
"Green, or red. I can't remember which one had the jewels," Meowth said. Reddy reveals the first aid kit and Greeny reveals the jewelry box and they both pass them back and forth, confusing Team Rocket even more. "Now I can't tell which one has what."
"I know. I'm totally confused, too," Jessie said.
"Watch me! Here, I'll take a bottle cap and place it in the palm of my hand," James said, taking out a bottle cap. He passes the cap between his hand at lightning speed. "There. Do you think you can tell me which hand the bottle cap is in now?" Jessie and Meowth look at him embarrassingly. "It's difficult to tell, isn't it?"
Jessie puts James in an armlock.
"How does that help us find the jewel box, James?!" Jessie yelled.
"I don't know, it's just a trick my grandpa showed me!" James yelled back.
"We won't get to be heroes this way," Meowth sighed. The Kecleon make their escape. "They're getting away!"
"Wait! Kecleon!" Team Rocket shouted.
Sora, Kairi, Ash, Leaf, Tracey, Sakura, and the Pokémon heard them as they came running.
"Someone found the Kecleon!" Sakura said.
The Kecleon ran by them.
"There they go!" Sora said. The two groups bumped into each other. Sora growled as he recognized them. "Don't look now, it's the Moron Trio." Team Rocket spots them and goes into a pose.
"Prepare for trouble, we're taking those Kecleon for our boss!" Jessie started.
"And our Pokémon gain is your loss!" James said with a rhyme.

"I knew this had your stink all over it!" Sora said.
"Pika!" Pikachu said.
"I smelled it a mile away!" Kairi said.
"I figured the suspicious characters was only you three losers," Ash said.
"Well, no one's ever accused us of having any kind of character," James said, taking out a Pokéball and threw it. "Go! Weezing!" His Pokéball opens and Weezing came on out. "Use Smokescreen!" Weezing unleashed Smokescreen all around. Everyone covered their mouth, not wanting to breathe in the smoke. Kairi took out a Pokéball and threw it.
"Go! Ledian!" Kairi called out. Ledian came right out. "Blow that smoke away with Silver Wind!" Ledian flapped her wings and blew the smoke away. When the smoke cleared, Team Rocket were gone.
"They got away," Tracey said.
"We gotta get those Kecleon back before Team Rocket does," Kairi said.
"Agreed. Let's spread out and find them," Harold said.
"On it," the rest of the group said.
They spread out and searched for the Kecleon. Sora and Pikachu looked around for Reddy and Greeny. Sora quickly noticed two stripes moving. He shushes Pikachu, not wanting to give themselves away. He pretends he doesn't see them, do he plays it cool. He hummed a little melody. Pikachu does the same thing. Just when they moved, Sora quickly turned around.
"There you are!" Sora said. The Kecleon turned visible again and ran. They started to run for the front door. "Guys, I found them! They're heading for the door!" They all stopped looking and saw the Kecleon running with Sora and Pikachu chasing after them.
The two Kecleon run out the door, but this time the crew and the other guests surround the troublemakers
"Don't bother trying to run away. We got you surrounded this time!" The crewman said.
"It worked!" Sakura said.
"That was a great trap, Harold," Sora said.
"Figured they wouldn't try to run when they're surrounded," Harold said.
Madison and Alexa bent down to them.
"We won't scold you," Madison said.
"We're not angry. Just open your mouths and give us those boxes," Alexa said.
"Hold it right there!" A familiar voice said. Everyone turns to see Team Rocket at the door. "We want those Kecleon, so hand them over peacefully and maybe there won't be any trouble."
"Those are the three I found in your state room trying to steal your jewelry box!" The crewman said.
"Greeny and Reddy must've been trying to protect the jewelry box from those thieves all this time!" Madison said.
"That's why they've been running and hiding!" Alexa said.
"Save the story for the society page, sister! The bottom line is those two Kecleon belong to us now, and the jewelry in that box belongs to me!" Jessie said.
"You're just as stupid as your hairdo. You're not getting these jewels. Not in this or any lifetime!" Sora said.
"That's right! What you deserve is absolutely nothing!" Ash said.
"We deserve everything we're gonna get, and so do you twerps! Go, Arbok!" Jessie said, taking out a Pokéball and threw it. Her Pokéball opens and Arbok came right out. Sora took out a Pokéball and threw it.
"Go! Bayleef!" Sora called out. His Pokéball opened and Bayleef came right out. "Use Vine Whip!" Bayleef extends her vines at the Cobra Pokémon.
"Use Crunch!" Jessie ordered. Arbok came at Bayleef and lands a heavy bite. Kairi took out a Pokéball and threw it.
"Go! Flaaffy!" Kairi called out. Flaaffy came right out. "Use Electro Ball!" Flaaffy forms a ball of electricity and threw it at Arbok, landing a hit.
Alexa turned to her sister.
"I think it's time we joined this battle," Alexa suggested.
"Right!" Madison agreed.
"Go get those losers, Greeny/Reddy!" Madison and Alexa said.
"Alright, Victreebel, come out and do your thing!" James said, taking out a Pokéball and threw it. Victreebel came out and, bites on James's head again. "Do it on them, not me! Use Razor Leaf! Razor Leaf! As James flails around, Victreebel launches the attack.
"Knock em back, Greeny/Reddy!" Madison and Alexa called out.
Both Greeny and Reddy repel the attack with their tails.
"Arbok, use your Wrap!" Jessie ordered.
Arbok charges in with open coils
"Stop it with your Lick, Reddy!" Madison ordered.
Reddy does so, paralyzing Arbok and letting the jewelry box go in the process, which lands in front of Meowth.
"Hey, that's the jewelry box," Meowth said.
Meowth pounces for it, but Angel spots him and uses Quick Attack on him. She then gave him a Headbutt, sending flying back.
"Victreebel! Use Leaf Blade!" James ordered. Victreebel charges in with a Leaf Blade.
"Greeny, use your Lick!" Alexa ordered.
Greeny does so, paralyzing Victreebel and letting the first aid kit go in the process, which Harold catches.
"Got it!" Harold said.
"Reddy..." Madison said.
"Greeny..." Alexa said.
"Double Psybeam!" Madison and Alexa ordered.
Both Kecleon fired Psybeam, sending Team Rocket into the building wall.
"Finish those morons off with a Vine Whip, Bayleef!" Sora ordered. Bayleef Bayleef extends a vine, grabs Team Rocket, and throws them as far as possible.
"Team Rocket's blasting off again!" Team Rocket shouted as they go flying once again.
After all the excitement, Madison returns the first aid kit to its rightful owner.
"I'm very sorry our Pokémon caused you so much trouble," Madison said.
"Think nothing of it, my dear. They guarded this kit like a treasure, and all it contains is a pair of heavy duty toe nail clippers," the passenger said. They were glad he was very forgiving.
"You're very kind," Alexa said.
"We're lucky the gentleman's so forgiving, Reddy," Madison said.
"What do you say when we do something wrong?" Alexa asked.
"Kecleon," the Kecleon apologized.
"So glad everything worked out in the end," Sora said. The rest of the group agreed with Sora.
Soon, the dirigible takes off and both sisters and their Kecleon wave the group goodbye. They waved back. Harold looked to the group.
"I've forgotten how exciting it can be when I'm with you guys, and it was a lot of fun, despite Team Rocket showing up when nobody wanted them to," Harold said.
"Are you still going to travel around solo, Harold? You're more than welcome to join us," Kairi said.
"Thanks for the kind offer, Kairi, but I must go where I am needed. Anyway, good luck on your way, and I hope I get to meet you again someday," Harold said.
"If one of our Pokémon is sick, and there isn't a Pokémon Center isn't nearby, we'll hope you'd come," Sora said.
"Thanks, Sora. And it was great meeting you four," Harold said.
"You too, Harold," Leaf said.
"Take care," Sakura said.
"You do the same thing. Bye," Harold said.
"Bye," Sora, Kairi, Ash, Leaf, Tracey, and Sakura said.
A reunion with an old friend and foiling an attempted theft of a jewelry box and two Kecleon was an exciting experience. As they continue to head for Mahogany Town, they're walking right into another adventure. And that's just around the corner.
