Episode 177: For Ho-Oh the Bells Toll!
Shortly after seeing Sakura off, Sora, Kairi, Ash, Leaf, Tracey, Pikachu, Angel, Togepi, and the Pichu were getting ready to depart from Ecruteak City and off to Mahogany Town. Before they did, Sora exchanged Weavile and Ambipom for Raikou and Mamoswine. Kairi exchanged Furret for Chinchou. So, they started to go over the plan of traveling.
"Okay, the easiest and fastest way to get to Mahogany Town from here would be on a road towards Mt. Mortar," Tracey said.
"That is if we don't end up getting lost or dealing with the Organization or the Heartless," Leaf said.
"We'll cross that bridge when we come to it," Ash said.
"He's right. We should get the show on the road," Sora said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
"Pichu," both Pichu said.
Just before they could leave, they hear a strange sound.
"You hear that?" Sora asked.
"I hear it," Kairi said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
Nurse Joy ran pass the group. Nurse Joy and Chansey look out to the Tin Tower)
Nurse Joy: The Tin Tower? How can that be?
Brock: What's the problem?
(Outside, Morty hears the same thing)
Morty: It's the bells! This can only mean, that the legendary Ho-Oh will soon return!
???: Or the legendary Suicune.
Morty: Eusine?
Inside the Tin Tower, the bell vibrates enough to ring.
Back at the Pokémon Center, the Keyblade wielding Pokémon Trainers felt some kind of disturbance.
"You felt that?" Sora asked.
"I did," Ash said.
"So did I," Leaf said.
"I did too," Kairi said.
"Feel what?" Tracey asked.
"I think we just felt something disturbing," Sora said.
"And it's coming from the Tin Tower," Kairi said.
Over to the Ecruteak City Gym, Morty came running out when he hears the strange sounds.
"The bells are ringing! It's been so long since then. It must be a sign. That could only mean Ho-Oh is returning," Morty said.
"Or it could be Suicune," Eusine said, walking up. Morty turned to see him.
"Eusine, when did you get here?" Morty asked.
"Just an hour ago," Eusine said.
Elsewhere, Ethan was about to eat his sandwich when he felt something.
"What is it?" Ethan asked. He started to feel uneasy. "What the heck is going on?"
Riku, Naminé, Eevee, and Azurill stopped when Riku felt the same disturbance.
"Riku?" Naminé asked.
"That's weird. Something's wrong," Riku said.
"What could be wrong? Is it the Heartless or the Organization?" Naminé asked, feeling scared.
"No, it's something else. I'm not sure about how to explain it," Riku said.
"Eevee," Eevee said.
"But I can bet my Keyblade Sora and the others felt it, too," Riku said.
Meanwhile, Kris was doing some dance moves. She suddenly stopped and felt the same disturbance.
"What's going on?" Kris asked.
Meanwhile, Lyra and Marill were picking some berries when Lyra felt the disturbance.
"What's going on?" Lyra asked.
Back at the Pokémon Center, the group turned to Nurse Joy.
"You have any idea about the ringing?" Sora asked.
"The ringing can only be coming from the bells inside the Tin Tower," Nurse Joy said.
"Do always ring like this?" Leaf asked.
"No, they haven't," Nuse Joy answered.
"How do bells not ring?" Sora asked.
"The Tin Tower never sounds, not even in the strongest, most fierce winds. It's said, the tower bells will only ring when... Ho-Oh is coming," Nurse Joy said.
"Ho-Oh?!" Sora and Kairi exclaimed in surprise.
"If Ho-Oh is coming back, then why am I feeling some kind of disturbance? And what does it mean?" Sora asked.
Over to the Tin Tower, Morty and Eusine climbed up the stairs and looked at the gold bells are vibrating.
"Look! Here, too! We've checked every floor and the whole tower's ringing!" Morty said.
"This is the eighth floor, right?" Eusine asked.
"Yes, it is," Morty said.
"On the ninth floor are the special crystal bells. They only ring to announce the arrival of Ho-Oh," Eusine said.
They reach the ninth floor, but they're in quite a shock when they ffound that the Crystal Bells are gone.
"The crystal bells! They're gone!" Morty gasped.
"Somebody has been up here, and they've stolen the Crystal Bells," Eusine said.
"Then I guess all of the other bells were ringing to alert us," Morty said. He looked down to the floor. "Gengar!" Gengar appears out of the floor. "Go and find the crystal bells, now." Gengar nods and goes back down through the floor.
Meanwhile, it was revealed that Team Rocket stole the Crystal Bells.
"Sparkly crystal. Whoever said that diamonds are a girl's best friend was wrong," Jessie said.
"Wobbuffet!" Wobbuffet agreed.
James is holding a book and reading it.
"According to the Legendary Pokemon Feature, in the special issue of Friends with Pokemon Monthly, these little gems are called the Crystal Bells of Ho-Oh," James said.
"Hey, guys. That story rings a bell," Meowth said.
"With Crystal Bells in hand," Jessie said.
"We'll ring across the land," James said.
"And then when Ho-oh reappears."
"We will quickly switch gears!"
"Because together we will show."
"That we can beat ol' Ho-oh!"
"Jessie!"
"James!"
"Team Rocket, ringing at the speed of light!"
"Our crystal bells pack a mighty fight, fight fight!"
"Wobbuffet!"
"It says here that Ho-Oh is known as the Rainbow Pokémon. Ho-Oh glows in seven colors of the rainbow, hence the name," James said.
"Now that's colorful. Not only that, but Ho-Oh can also see into the future," Meowth said.
"Exactly. Why do you think we've gone through all this trouble?" Jessie said.
"I foresee, a promotion, and a way out of our debt!" James said.
Team Rocket laughs in triumph.
"So let's ring em already!" Meowth said.
"Woo-hoo! Come out, come out, wherever you are! Wherever you are!" Jessie and James chanted.
"Come out, wherev..." Jessie and James asked as they stopped. No ringing was heard from the bells.
"They're busted?" Jessie asked.
"Or maybe they're rusted?" James asked.
"But crystals don't rust," Meowth said.
"I knew that," James said. Jessie became frustrated by how it wasn't working.
"Oh, give me that!" Jessie said, taking the bell from James. "I'll make the bells ring!" Shetakes the other bells from Meowth and Wobbuffet. "How come you guys can't do anything right? Now move away." She begins swinging the bells angrily around. "I want to hear some ringing! Get out here, you rainbow legend! Ring, I tell you!"
James, Meowth, and Wobbuffet watched in fear.
"I'm not saying a word," Meowth said.
"Yeah, but look at her go!" James ssid.
One bell suddenly goes flying away. Meowth goes after it, only to smack into a rock as the bell shatters upon impact with that same rock. At the same time as Jessie and James look in horror of what she had done.
Over to the Ecruteak City Gym, the bells in the Tin Tower stop ringing. Sora, Kairi Ash, Leaf, Tracey, Tracey, Pikachu, Angel, Togepi, and the Pichu stopped.
"The ringing stopped," Sora said.
"Pika," Pikachu said.
"But why do I have a feeling it's about to get worst before it gets better?" Ash asked.
"I think we're gonna find out whether we want to or not," Kairi said with worry.
"Eevee," Angel said, sharing her worry.
Back in the woods, as Meowth looks at the shattered bell nervously, the wind starts blowing, causing all of Team Rocket to panic.
"Someting tells me, we're in big trouble," Meowth said.
"Wobbuffet!" Wobbuffet said.
A pair of red eyes soon peer out of the bushes.
"Oh, crap," Team Rocket said as they knew that their troubles was about to start.
Back at the Ecruteak City Gym, Eusine stepped out and he spots the group and recognizes three of them.
"Sora, Kairi, Tracey. When did you get here?" Eusine asked.
"Eusine!" Sora, Kairi, and Tracey all exclaimed in surprise.
"You know this guy?" Leaf asked.
"Yeah. He's a Pokémon researcher on legendary Pokémon. The last time we saw him was when Attila and Hun used some weird crystal to catch Raikou," Sora said.
"It's true. But I'm afraid this isn't a good time to ta-" Eusine said as he felt his face being stretched. It turns out to be Gengar, pulling a prank. He gets loose. "Morty, your Gengar is messing with me again!" Morty stepped out of the tower.
"Gengar, I told you to find the Crystal Bells! Stop goofing around and search!" Morty scolded the Shadow Pokémon. Gengar sinks into the ground and vanished. He looked at Sora and his friends. "Sora, Kairi, Tracey. It would seem that your coming here is also a sign of Ho-Oh's return."
"Hey, Morty, we need to talk," Sora said.
"We heard the ringing, but that's not why we're here," Kairi said.
"We sensed some kind of disturbance, but we're still feeling those vibes," Sora said.
"Pika," Pikachu said.
"I see your ability to sense things have kicked in. And you are right to be concerned, because the Crystal Bells have been stolen," Morty said. Everyone all gasped.
"Stolen?!" Sora exclaimed.
"By who?" Kairi asked.
"I don't know. But I do know it's terrible. The bells ringing from the ninth floor of the Tin Tower were a sign warning, but strangely they've stopped ringing," Morty said.
"We have much to discuss inside," Eusine said.
"So, what are these Crystal Bells?" Ash asked.
"As you know, the Brass Tower was burned down, correct?" Morty asked. Everyone nodded. "Everything in the tower was destroyed, except for 36 bells. 32 were metal bells, and 4 were Crystal Bells. They were miraculously left untouched. They were placed in the Tin Tower, 4 gold bells each were placed in the first 8 floors, while the 4 Crystal Bells were placed on top. It was said that they were to ring when Ho-Oh is to return to us when human beings and Pokémon can truly live together in harmony. They have not rung since."
"And that was when Ho-Oh brought Entei, Raikou, and Suicune," Sora said.
"Aren't you the brightest light bulb," a voice spoke. They all turned to see Xigbar in the room with them. Sora, Kairi, Ash, and Leaf summoned their Keyblades and held them.
"Who are you and how did you get in here?" Morty asked.
"I'm not here to pick a fight with you. I only came here for own reasons. Getting back to your little chat, you think that rainbow birdie is going to come back when Pokémon and humans are gonna live together in peace?" Xigbar asked before he scoffed, "As if."
"How dare you speak about Ho-Oh in that manner!" Morty said.
"Who is he?" Eusine asked.
"This guy's with Organization XIII! Those guys are way worst than Team Rocket!" Sora said.
"The name's Xigbar, and I'm with Organization XIII just like the kid said. We never finished our fight from our first meeting," Xigbar said.
"He must be the one who stole the Crystal Bells!" Kairi accused.
"Eevee!" Angel said.
"Now you've gone and hurt my feelings. You're accusing me of stealing something I can't even use," Xigbar said.
"Feelings? You don't have feelings!" Tracey said.
"Guess there's no fooling you. But do I look like someone who would just take something without knowing that I can't use it? As if. Those Crystal Bells wouldn't be useful to me. I wouldn't know what to do with it even if I did have one of them," Xigbar said.
"If you didn't take them, then who did?" Ash asked.
"I don't know. I only came here to see for myself about what might happen. And it looks like something is going on outside," Xigbar said.
"What do you mean?" Kairi asked.
"Why don't you go have a look outside, and see for yourselves? But you shouldn't be surprised by what happens next," Xigbar said.
Everyone did run outside and they saw that the Tin Tower is being covered with silk, spewed by Caterpie, Weedle, Spinarak, and Ariados.
"The Tin Tower's being covered with silk!" Leaf exclaimed.
"Caterpie, Spinarak, Weedle, Ariados!" Tracey said.
"Xigbar knew about this and sent us out!" Sora said.
"We can worry about that later, because we gotta get to the Tin Tower right now!" Ash said.
"I agree. Let's go!" Eusine said. Just when they were about to head right for the Tin Tower, a group of Tangela attacked with a Vine Whip in their path.
"Tangela, too?" Kairi asked. Gligar are seen flying around.
"Not just Tangela, but Gligar as well," Tracey said.
"But Tangela are normally peaceful Pokémon! They never attack like this!" Kairi said.
"You're right. They look very angry," Morty said. Angel turned to her right.
"Eevee!" Angel exclaimed, alerting everyone. They see a group of Parasect coming.
"Parasect?" Sora asked. The Parasect secretes Sleep Powder from the mushrooms on their backs. "Sleep Powder! Nobody breathes it in!" Sora covered his mouth.
"Quickly, back inside!" Morty said. Everyone rushes back in the Gym. "That was too close!" Sora saw Xigbar was still inside.
"See, what did I tell you?" Xigbar asked with a grin. He chuckled.
"XIGBAR! WHAT DID YOU DO TO THOSE POKÉMON?!" Sora yelled.
"I didn't do anything. All those Pokémon outside are doing this out of their own free will. Something had to happen to set them off. I'm gonna guess that it has something to do with the Crystal Bells. And if you live long enough, I might see you again. Bye for now," Xigbar said, leaving through the corridor of darkness.
"Xigbar!" Sora yelled, trying to go after him, but Ash stopped him.
"Let him go, Sora. He's not worth it," Ash said.
"Guys, look outside!" Leaf said. And they all look out and they see the silk spreading all around the entire city.
"Those Pokémon are building a web. They're taking over the entire city," Kairi said.
"I think Xigbar is correct about the Crystal Bells," Morty said.
"What do you mean?" Sora asked.
"The Crystal Bells, they're said to maintain peace and harmony amongst all the Pokémon. And now that they're stolen, a very delicate and peaceful balance has been disturbed. I'm afraid they've now become aggressive towards humans," Morty said.
"Oh, this we don't need," Sora said. Entei and Raikou came out of their Ultra Balls, concerned. Morty and Eusine were both surprised by their sudden appearance. "Raikou, Entei?" They both looked at Sora. It was like they were telling him not to give up so easily. He nodded. "Okay. We just gotta find those Crystal Bells. I mean, once they're back, everything will go back to normal, right?"
"Not necessarily. Maybe these Pokémon, with their harmony disturbed, are now seeking to create a world of their own. A world without humans," Eusine said.
"We gotta at least try! It's going to get worst if we just sit back and don't do anything about it!" Sora said. Entei and Raikou roared with agreement.
"Sora's right. We gotta remind the Pokémon that there's still peace between Pokémon and humans even if they kill us," Leaf said.
"But where do we start to look? The Crystal Bells could be anywhere by now," Kairi said.
"We'll look everywhere," Sora said. He jumped on Raikou's back. Pikachu and the Pichu climbed up with Sora. Kairi, Angel, and Togepi gets on Entei's back. "Let's do this."
The doors of the Ecruteak City Gym opens as the Parasect prepares to attack, but Raikou dashed around, scaring the Parasect. The Mushroom Pokémon ran off, knowing they didn't stand a chance against the Thunder Pokémon.
Gengar reappears before them.
"You found the Crystal Bells, Gengar?" Morty asked.
"Gengar," Gengar nodded.
"Great! Nice job! Show us the way!" Morty said.
"Gengar," Gengar said. The Shadow Pokémon led the group right to the forest. "Gengar." It points to the forest.
"The Crystal Bells are in there?" Ash asked.
"There's no other choice but to go in," Sora said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu agreed.
"We gotta," Kairi said.
"Okay, Entei. Use your Flamethrower to burn that silk," Sora said. Entei unleashed a Flamethrower to burn the silk. The Volcano Pokémon was careful not to burn the trees.
Deeper in the forest, Team Rocket are tied up in the silk, hanging upside down.
"I'm tired of just hanging around," James groaned.
"Stop whining," Jessie said.
"Could someone please call it a wrap?" Meowth asked.
"Wobb!" Wobbuffet called out.
It turns out that the Bug-type Pokemon are guarding the Crystal Bells. Meanwhile, Entei burns up the webbing in our everyone's path with a Flamethrower, allowing them to progress before they find another web wall.
Entei does one more Flamethrower and they see Team Rocket tied up.
"Team Rocket?" Ash asked.
"I should have guessed you morons would be involved in this mess!" Sora said.
"Would you believe we was working on web design?" Meowth asked.
"Yes, that's right," James added.
Tracey turned and saw the Crystal Bells.
"Look, the Crystal Bells!" Tracey said. Everyone all saw the bells. The wild Pokémon came and approached the group.
"But I only see three. There should be four of them," Kairi said. She turned to Team Rocket. "Where's the fourth one?"
"Jessie demolished it," Meowth said.
"Wobbuffet!" Wobbuffet concured.
"Can't you ever keep your trap shut?! Those Pokemon should've wrapped your mouth up while they were at it! Besides, the bell was broken anyway!" Jessie said. Entei and Raikou were angered by what happened.
"So it's all your fault this is happening to the whole city! These Pokémon are punishing all of us and everyone else, because of your neverending stupidity!" Ash yelled.
"Yeah, it's bad enough you had to steal them, but you had to break one of them? Why do you morons have to make a giant mess of everything?" Sora asked.
"Because we're Team Rocket!" Team Rocket chimed.
"More like Team Wreck-It!" Sora said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
"We can deal with you later. Right now, we're gonna clean up the mess you made!" Sora said. He sets his attention on the wild Pokémon. "Listen, we have to return the Crystal Bells to the Tin Tower."
"If I may chime in with an observation, they won't listen to reason," Meowth said.
"And whose fault is that?" Sora asked with an irritated tone.
"He's got us there." - Wobbuffet subtitle.
"Hey, you shouldn't be agreeing with the enemy!" Meowth yelled.
"We gotta make them understand that we don't mean any harm," Sora said.
"That's easier said than done, because they're very angry," Kairi said. Tangela and Bug-type Pokémon are all on the ground and Gligar are in the air. Other Bug-type Pokémon are in the trees. The Ariados attack with a String Shot. Eusine took out a Pokéball and threw it.
"Go! Alakazam!" Eusine called out. Alakazam came out. "Use Reflect!" Alakazam forms a barrier around them, so the silk doesn't reach them. A Tangrowth came and slammed its hand down, and struck Alakazam. Eusine gasped.
"That Tangrowth used Brick Break! It breaks through barrier moves!" Tracey said. Eusine calls Alakazam back.
"Hey, how about you get us down?!" Jessie yelled.
"Keep your crazy hair on! We have our hands full with these Pokémon right now!" Sora said.
"Eevee!" Angel said, jumped off and trying to reason with the Pokémon.
"Angel!" Kairi said. The Tangela struck the female Eevee hard.
"Pika!" Pikachu gasped. He was really mad now.
"Pikachu, don't!" Sora pleaded. It was too late. He gave the one who struck her a taste of Thunderbolt. That only infuriated them further. "Nice going." The Tangela attempted to attack again, but Entei and Raikou roared, telling them it was enough. A third roar is heard. The Pokémon ceased their assault. Suicune appeared and sends out an aura, removing the silk.
Team Rocket fell out of the tree they hanging from.
"That was a real letdown," Meowth said. James spots Suicune.
"Ooh, a Suicune!" James said. Jessie stood up and took out a Pokéball.
"A Suicune that's about to be mine!" Jessie said, taking a Pokéball. Sora quickly summoned his Kingdom Key, defending Suicune.
"I don't think so! You three have caused enough damage for one day! Wind!" Sora shouted. A strong wind appeared and blew Team Rocket away.
"Team Rocket's blasting off again!" Team Rocket shouted as they go flying in the air. A star twinkles in the distance. Sora approached Suicune and smiled.
"It's good to see you again, Suicune, since the Lake of Life," Sora said. Suicune nods. Eusine was amazed by what he was seeing.
"Suicune has appeared," Eusine said.
"Yes. It was to protect us. So Sora saved Suicune in return," Morty said.
Eusine was determined to gain Suicune's respect, so he approached Sora.
"Sora, I would like to challenge you to a Pokémon battle. I only request to do so for Suicune's honor," Eusine said.
"Are you sure, Eusine?" Sora asked.
"Yes, I am," Eusine said.
"Okay, but we can do that after we get the bells back to the top floor," Sora said.
"Pika," Pikachu said.
The Crystal Bells were gathered, and they came across the shards of the fourth bell.
"Man, Jessie totalled it bad," Sora said.
"It's not like we can just fix it," Ash said.
"I can," a familiar voice spoke. It turns out to be Flora.
"It's been a while, Flora," Sora said.
"Yes, Sora," Flora agreed. "I sensed a disturbance coming from here, and the silk was preventing me from coming forward. I can see the reason for it. Now to correct the mistake those fools have made." Flora casts a spell and the fourth Crystal Bell has been restored before it was destroyed. All 4 Crystal Bells were returned to the Tin Tower, awaiting for the day for Ho-Oh to return.
Sora and Eusine took their positions for battle as Entei, Raikou, and Suicune sat with Sora's friends.
"How do you want to do this, Eusine?" Sora asked.
"We shall make it four-on-four," Eusine said.
"Okay," Sora said. Eusine took out a Pokéball and threw it. "Go! Drowzee!" His Pokéball opened and Drowzee came on out to battle. Sora took out a Pokéball and threw it.
"Go! Pupitar!" Sora called out. Pupitar came out from inside, ready to battle.
"Drowzee! Use Hypnosis!" Eusine ordered. Drowzee's eyes gave off a light blue glow.
"Pupitar! Dodge and use Dark Pulse!" Sora ordered. Pupitar dodged Drowzee's Hypnosis and fired a Dark Pulse at the taipar-like Pokémon.
"That sure hit! Super-effective!" Leaf said.
"It's not over yet," Ash said.
"Drowzee! Use Hypnosis again!" Eusine ordered. Drowzee used Hypnosis again and puts the Hard Shell Pokémon to sleep.
"Wake up, Pupitar!" Sora called out.
"No good. Use Dream Eater!" Eusine ordered. Drowzee raised its hands up and a blue orb came from Pupitar and right towards Drowzee. It healed Drowzee from its injury and did some damage onto Pupitar. Pupitar's body gives off a light green aura and then wakes up.
"Hey, that was Shed Skin. That's right. A Pokémon with Shed Skin as an ability can cure itself from the status condition. Use Crunch!" Sora ordered. Pupitar came at Drowzee with a Crunch.
"Dodge it, Drowzee!" Eusine ordered. Before Pupitar came close, Drowzee dodges Pupitar's attack. "Use Psychic!" Drowzee lifts Pupitar up and slammed him down.
"Use Rock Slide!" Sora ordered. Pupitar unleashed Rock Slide and struck Drowzee on the mark. "Now, use Thrash!" Pupitar came at Drowzee and lands a hit.
"Drowzee! Use Disable!" Eusine ordered. Drowzee tried to use Disable, but Pupitar came too fast for Drowzee to use it and lands a hit. Pupitar lands one more hit and then became confused. Drowzee was now knocked out. Eusine calls Drowzee back. "You battled well, my friend. Get some rest." He looked at Sora. "I am impressed, Sora. But let's see how well you stand up to this one." He took out another Pokéball and threw it. "Go! Haunter!" His Haunter came right out to battle. Sora called back Pupitar, knowing he was confused. He took out another Pokéball and threw it.
"Your turn, Stantler!" Sora called out. Sudowoodo came out, ready to battle.
"Stantler!" Stantler said. Time at Professor Oak's lab has caused Stantler to mature for a time, but Sora figured Stantler was ready for his battle.
"So, using a Normal-type Pokémon against my Ghost-type Pokémon is a good countermeasure, Sora. You clearly know that Ghost-type moves won't affect my Haunter, but you know Normal-type moves won't affect my Haunter, don't you?"
"Yeah, I know, but there are ways around that," Sora said.
"Show those ways to me," Eusine said.
"Use Psybeam!" Sora ordered. Stantler fired Psybeam right at Haunter, landing a hit.
"Haunter! Use Dark Pulse!" Eusine ordered. Haunter unleashed Dark Pulse right at Stantler.
"Dodge it, Stantler!" Sora called out. Stantler dodges Haunter's Dark Pulse. "Use Psyshield Bash!" Stantler charges at Haunter, while surrounding himself with psychic energy. Haunter is struck hard by the attack.
"Hey, I didn't know Stantler had that move," Tracey said.
"Stantler just learned it just a few days ago. Sora was practicing with Stantler, so he unlocked it by accident," Kairi said.
"That could mean, Stantler could evolve into a Wyrdeer soon," Tracey said.
"That was impressive, Sora. Your skills have improved since we last met," Eusine said. "But it's not over yet. Haunter! Use Dark Pulse!" Haunter unleashed another Dark Pulse.
"Dodge it, Stantler!" Sora called out. Stantler tried to dodge, but he was hit hard by Haunter's attack.
"Use Psywave!" Eusine ordered. Haunter unleashed a burst of psychic energy and struck Stantler hard, resulting in a knockout. Sora called Stantler back.
"Get some rest, Stantler. You earned it," Sora said. Eusine calls Haunter back.
"Well done, Haunter," Eusine said. He took out his third Pokéball and threw it. "Your turn now, Electrode!" His Pokéball opened and his Electrode came out, ready to go. Sora took out his next Pokéball and threw it. "Okay, Sudowoodo! You're up!" Sudowoodo came out to battle.
"Use Thunder!" Eusine ordered. Electrode fired Thunder at the Imitation Pokémon.
"Dodge it, Sudowoodo!" Sora called out. Sudowoodo dodges Electrode's Thunder. "Use Mimic!" Sudowoodo's branch gave off a gold glow. Sudowoodo instantly learned how to use Thunder.
"Use Rollout!" Eusine ordered. Electrode rolls right at Sudowoodo.
"Try to dodge it!" Sora called out. Sudowoodo tries to dodge, but Electrode came too fast for the Imitation Pokémon to dodge. "Rollout gets stronger every time it hits. Thunder!" Sudowoodo unleashed Thunder and it struck Electrode hard. The Ball Pokémon kept on coming, so Sudowoodo manages to dodge at the last minute. "Use Wood Hammer!" Sudowoodo smacked Electrode hard with hand.
"Hey, shouldn't Sudowoodo feel some recoil damage from that?" Ash asked.
"Normally, yes, but Sudowoodo's ability must be Rock Head. It prevents recoil damage," Tracey said.
"Electrode! Use Thunder!" Eusine ordered.
"You use Thunder, too, Sudowoodo!" Sora ordered.
Both Pokémon unleashed Thunder right at each other and they pushed at each other. It results in an explosion, so both Electrode and Sudowoodo were both knocked out, resulting in a draw. They called their fallen Pokémon back.
"You've done well, Electrode," Eusine said.
"Great job, Sudowoodo. Get some rest," Sora said. Eusine took out his last Pokéball.
"Now for the moment we've been waiting for. In this Pokéball is my trusty partner. And I must say that you are lucky to have the honor and privilege of facing him," Eusine said, throwing the Pokéball. "Go! Alakazam!" His Pokéball opened and his Alakazam came right out.
"I knew you were gonna send your Alakazam at me at some point. And if we're talking partners, then I have Pikachu by my side," Sora said.
"Pika," Pikachu said, stepping in.
"Show me everything you've got, Eusine," Sora said.
"I intend to, Sora. Alakazam! Use Psybeam!" Eusine ordered. Alakazam unleashed Psybeam right at the Mouse Pokémon.
"Dodge it, Pikachu!" Sora called out. Pikachu dodges Alakazam's Psybeam. "Use Quick Attack!" Pikachu dashed around and lands a hit onto the Psi Pokémon. "Use Iron Tail!" Pikachu swings his tail at Alakazam.
"Use Disable!" Eusine ordered. Alakazam's eyes gave off an orange glow. Pikachu's body gave off the same orange aura. "There, no more Iron Tail for a while."
"Use Electro Ball!" Sora ordered. Pikachu forms a ball of electricity and hurls it at Alakazam.
"Dodge it!" Eusine ordered. Alakazam dodges Pikachu's Electro Ball. "Use Psybeam!" Alakazam lands a hit with Psybeam, dealing some heavy damage. "Use Psychic to finish Pikachu off!"
"Use Thunderbolt!" Sora ordered. Pikachu unleashed a powerful Thunderbolt, dealing some heavy damage, causing Alakazam to lose his focus. Alakazam was now paralyzed from Pikachu's Thunderbolt. "Use Quick Attack!" Pikachu dashed at Alakazam right in the gut, dealing some extra damage. Alakazam was now down for the count. Sora has won the battle. Eusine calls back Alakazam and he smiled.
"I concede defeat. Suicune's honor is clearly is your favor," Eusine said.
"You battled hard, Eusine. The way you handled your Pokémon is living proof," Sora said.
"Thank you, Sora," Eusine said.
He turned to Suicune. The Aurora Pokémon was very impressed by Sora's battling skills and how strong his heart is. Suicune stood before Sora.
"Suicune?" Sora asked.
"I understand," Eusine said. Everyone looked at him.
"Understand what?" Kairi asked.
"Suicune wishes to be your Pokémon. It was because Suicune saw the courage in your heart, and how you saved it from being taken by Team Rocket," Eusine said. Sora looked at Suicune. "Are you sure, Suicune?" The Aurora Pokémon nodded. Sora took out an Ultra Ball and threw it up in the air. "Okay, if that's what you want!" The Ultra Ball came back down and struck Suicune, making it flow inside. The Ultra Ball wobbles around and around. Stars swirls around the Ultra Ball to confirm the catch. Sora's Pokémon Box goes off asking him if he wants to keep Suicune with him. He chose to keep Suicune in exchange for Gliscor. "First Raikou, then Entei, and now Suicune. Just like Moltres, Zapdos, and Articuno, I have all three."
"I can see why Ho-Oh had its eyes on you, Sora. Not because of the Keyblade, but more than that. You have the power to touch the hearts of Pokémon," Morty said.
"Touch the hearts of Pokémon," Sora said.
Sora, Kairi, Ash, Leaf, Tracey, Pikachu, Angel, Togepi, and the Pichu said their goodbyes to Morty and Eusine as they set off for their journey for Mahogany Town.
When they stopped for the night, Entei, Suicune, and Raikou gathered and forged three new eggs all around for them to hatch. The Pokémon inside were to be their successors to watch over the Johto region in their absence. The new Suicune, Entei, and Raikou will soon be born as well as a new legend.
