Episode 180: Meiko and Little Mei
A few days came and went since foiling Goneff's crime spree. They continued on their way towards Mahogany Town. Sora, Kairi, Riku, Naminé, Ash, Leaf, Tracey, Pikachu, Angel, Eevee, Togepi, Azurill, and the Pichu made a stop by a small pond as they filled their canteens and have a meal before taking off.
"So Sora, what's your plan when we get to Mahogany Town?" Ash asked.
"Well, I heard that the Gym Leader there is named Pryce, and he specializes with Ice-type Pokémon, so Fire-types would do it. I plenty of Fire-types, and some Rock, Fighting, and Steel-types to boot," Sora said.
"Pryce? I heard of him. He was one of the toughest Pokémon Trainers in the entire Johto region. He was asked to being a Gym Leader, and he accepted. I heard his partner is a Piloswine, one as tough as he is," Tracey said.
"I don't doubt that Piloswine is tough. He'll have to throw everything he's got at me, because I'm gonna be ready for him," Sora said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
"But we should get started with training. I know Pryce won't be make it easy. And you'll be in it just in case he has some Water-type Pokémon, Pikachu," Sora said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
A little while later, Sora exchanged Ursaluna, Ambipom, and Quagsire for Houndoom, Magcargo, and Heracross. Sora had let Typhlosion, Magcargo, Sudowoodo, Heracross, and Houndoom out just so they could train.
"Okay, Typhlosion! Use Flamethrower!" Sora ordered. Typhlosion spews a Flamethrower right at Pikachu. "Dodge it, Pikachu!" Pikachu dodges Typhlosion's Flamethrower. "Great job, Pikachu! Now use Thunderbolt, and Typhlosion, you try dodging it! Pikachu fired a Thunderbolt at the Volcano Pokémon, and so he dodges it. "Heracross! Use Megahorn!" Heracross came at Houndoom with his horn giving off a light green glow. "Houndoom! Dodge and use Dark Pulse!" Houndoom dodges Heracross's attack and unleashed a Dark Pulse. "Great job, you guys. Now Magcargo! You try using a Flame Burst! Sudowoodo, you try dodging and use Rock Throw!" Magcargo unleashed a Flame Bust, so Sudowoodo dodged Magcargo's attack and unleashed a Rock Throw. Magcargo was hit hard by the rocks. "You okay, Magcargo?"
"Cargo," Magcargo replied.
"Great. You try using a Flamethrower, and Sudowoodo, you use Mimic!" Sora ordered. Magcargo fired Flamethrower and Sudowoodo ducked his head. The branch glows gold and instantly learned to use Flamethrower. "Okay, Sudowoodo use Flamethrower!" Sudowoodo unleashed Flamethrower at Magcargo. "Flamethrower!" Magcargo unleashed a Flamethrower, blocking the one Sudowoodo was using. "That's great, you guys!" A scream is suddenly heard from not too far away.
"Someone help!" A girl's voice cried.
"Sounds like trouble!" Ash said.
"We're gonna have to call it short for now!" Sora said.
"Pika," Pikachu agreed.
Sora, Kairi, Riku, Naminé, Ash, Leaf, Tracey, and the Pokémon raced to the source of the scream, and they saw that there is a girl and a Meowth. She has fair skin, long black hair with a fringe in the forehead, and pink eyes. She wore a red shirt and a pink skirt, along with a pair of pink shoes and white socks. With her is a Meowth wearing an orange ribbon. She was being chased by the some Bad Dogs.
"Heartless!" Sora exclaimed.
"That girl and that Meowth are in trouble!" Naminé said.
"Then we're gonna help her!" Leaf said as she and the rest summoned their Keyblades. The girl tripped as the Bad Dogs were coming at her. She was frightened, so she covered her eyes, knowing the end was coming. She then heard a slashing sound, so she saw Sora standing in front of her.
"Get to safety!" Sora said.
"Okay!" The girl said, getting up. "Come on, Mei!"
"Meowth!" The Meowth nodded as they ran towards Tracey.
"Come and get some," Sora said.
The Keyblade wielders and the Pokémon engaged the Heartless, starting the fighting. Sudowoodo unleashed a Flamethrower, burning some of the Bad Dogs as Magcargo unleashed a Rock Slide. Eevee gave one a Shadow Ball as Typhlosion rolled in with a Flame Wheel. Houndoom came at the Bad Dogs with a Fire Fang as Angel fired a Swift at several. Kairi, Ash, Riku, Naminé, and Leaf slashed at several more of the Bad Dogs, but a few more Heartless appeared. They looked like the Bad Dogs, but they were larger.
Ot's a Heartless that looks like a large, bright green dog with a massive head and an equally massive, toothed maw. Its ears are long, stand on end, and curl at the tips. It has a crooked, green tail and four short legs with no discernible digits on its paws. Its long, red tongue is often seen hanging out of its mouth. Its large, yellow eyes each sport a black spiral pattern. It also wears a large, yellow collar with several conical, dark green spikes on it, though, because of the Heartless's size, it is worn around its waist instead of its neck. Its nose, paws, and the tip of its tail are all light green. Its Heartless emblem is on its rear. This Heartless is known as the Snapper Dog.
"Looks like they called for backup," Ash said.
"We can take them!" Riku said.
"Riku's right. We took on bigger Heartless than these," Sora said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
The Snapper Dogs snapped at the Keyblade wielders. Naminé casts a fire spell on one of the Snapper Dogs. Despite outnumbering the Snapper Dogs, they proved themselves to be formidable opponents. Sora, Kairi, Riku, Naminé, Ash, Leaf kept on fighting the Snapper Dogs came snapping at them, so Naminé destroyed one of the Snapper Dogs, destroying it. A heart floats up in the air. The remaining Snapper Dogs came at the Keyblade wielders, so Pikachu gave one a hit with an Iron Tail as Angel swings at the other one with an Iron Tail.
Riku slashed at one of the Snapper Dogs, destroying it. Sora and Kairi finished the remaining Snapper Dog.
"You okay?" Sora asked.
"Uh, yeah. Thanks for your help," the girl said.
"Meowth," the Meowth said.
"You didn't see any more of those things, did you?" Kairi asked.
"No, just the ones that attacked me. Just what were those things?" The girl asked. She then looked right at Sora. "Hey, aren't you-?"
"Yes, I'm the Champion of the Indigo Plateau Pokémon League," Sora said.
"Actually, I was gonna say you're the one who caught that Koffing leader back in Odaiba City," the girl said. Sora was confused. "I recognized you when you battled Tai Kamiya and ended in a draw. You used a Charmander if I remember right out. And you used that Pikachu to do it. You didn't see me, but I saw you. I also saw you on TV when you were chasing after that one Pokémon carrying your mom."
"You know Tai?" Sora and Ash both asked at once. They looked each other, making Kairi laugh.
"Who are you?" Kairi asked.
"Right, I haven't introduced myself. My name's Meiko Mochizuki, and this is Little Mei, my Meowth," Meiko introduced herself.
"Meowth," Meowth said.
"It's nice to meet you. My name's Sora Ketchum, and you already know my partner. Sudowoodo, Magcargo, Typhlosion, and Houndoom are my Pokémon, too. And these little guys are with us," Sora said, gesturing to the Pichu.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
"Pichu," the Shiny Pichu said.
"Pichu," the Spiky-eared Pichu said.
"I'm Kairi, and this is Angel, and this is Togepi," Kairi introduced.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"Toge, Toge," Togepi chirped.
"I'm Ash."
"My name's Leaf."
"I'm Riku."
"My name is Naminé."
"And I'm Tracey Sketchit. I'm a Pokémon Watcher," Tracey said.
"Nice to meet you," Meiko said.
"Meowth," Little Mei said. The Pichu walked up to the Meowth and smiled.
"And thank you for saving me from those monsters," Meiko said.
"What happened to you?" Kairi asked.
"Little Mei and I were just doing some traveling of our own. We've been through a lot of places. We were just out on a hike when suddenly, without warning, all those monsters appeared from out of nowhere and attacked us for no reason. I thought we were done for until you came with your key swords and took them down," Meiko said.
"We're just glad you're alright," Leaf said.
"And it looks like we have explaining to do," Sora said. Everyone all agreed.
"Explain what?" Meiko asked.
"Okay, first off, the monsters you saw are known as Heartless. They're monsters that come out from the darkness in the hearts of people, and there's darkness in every heart. Even yours," Sora said. Meiko and Little Mei were both shocked from hearing it.
"Darkness in very heart?" Meiko asked.
"Like it or not, it's true," Ash said. He sighed. "The weapons we used to defeat them with are Keyblades. We use them to fight off the Heartless."
"The Heartless are afraid of the Keyblades, so they'll keep coming after us," Riku said.
"Why?" Meiko asked.
"Our Keyblades gives off the power of light, since the Heartless were born from darkness," Leaf said.
"Power of light? Sounds powerful," Meiko said.
"It sure is," Ash agreed.
"Anyway, why are you traveling around, Meiko?" Kairi asked.
"Little Mei and I left Odaiba City for my own Pokémon journey. While I was here, we both met many interesting people and saw all sorts of Pokémon living here in Johto. Just like I met all of you," Meiko said.
"Just where are you heading, Meiko?" Leaf asked.
"I'm heading for the Lake of Rage. I was hearing a rumor about an usual Gyarados being sighted there," Meiko said. This got the group interested.
"An usual Gyarados?" Ash asked.
"How unusual?" Tracey asked.
"From what I can gather, there's a Gyarados that is different from any other Gyarados," Meiko said.
"Meowth," Little Mei said.
"I have got to get a sketch of that Gyarados!" Tracey exclaimed.
"Tracey, do you know a thing about the Lake of Rage?" Sora asked.
"For starters, why is it called the Lake of Rage?" Kairi asked.
"I'm glad you asked. It said that many years ago, there were a group of Gyarados out on a destructive rampage, unleashing all sorts of attacks like Hyper Beam and Hydro Pump, leaving destruction in their path. Their rage led them to an open spot, creating a lake. The Gyarados eventually calmed down once they've gotten settled, and layed eggs, giving birth to the first generation of Magikarp. The people then dubbed it the Lake of Rage," Tracey explained.
"No wonder they call it that. It was created by Gyarados," Ash said.
"It's just north of Mahogany Town, so we should check it out before we head for the Gym," Riku said.
"Eevee," Eevee agreed.
"Okay. We might as well have a look," Sora said. He looked at Meiko and Little Mei. "You and Little Mei can join us if you want."
"You're just inviting us to join you, Sora?" Meiko asked.
"Meowth?" Little Mei asked.
"I know we just met, but that doesn't mean we can't be friends," Sora said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
"I guess that's true. I mean, I'm looking for an excuse to get to know you anyway. I would like to know what you like to do if you're not busy fighting evil monsters," Meiko said.
"Um, we're mostly doing some traveling anyway," Sora said.
Joined by Meiko and Little Mei, Sora, Kairi, Riku, Naminé, Ash, Leaf, Tracey, and the Pokémon continued their travels towards Mahogany Town and see the mysterious Gyarados in the Lake of Rage.
As they kept going, they found Ethan and his Typhlosion in a Pokémon battle. The Trainer he's up against has a Nidoking.
"Ethan!" Sora said.
"You know him?" Meiko asked.
"Yeah, he's a friend of ours," Kairi said.
"And it looks like a battle's about to start," Ash said.
"Okay, Nidoking! Use Horn Attack!" The Trainer ordered. Nidoking came charging at Typhlosion with a Horn Attack.
"Dodge it, Typhlosion!" Ethan called out. Typhlosion dodges Nidoking's attack. "Great! Use Flame Wheel!" Typhlosion rolls into a ball of fire and rolls right at Nidoking. The Drill Pokémon is struck by Typhlosion's Flame Wheel.
"Nidoking! Use Bubble Beam!" The Trainer ordered. Nidoking fired Bubble Beam right at the Volcano Pokémon.
"Use Dig to dodge!" Ethan ordered. Typhlosion dug into the ground as the bubbles missed their mark. Typhlosion came out and lands a hit onto Nidoking.
"Don't take that laying down! Use Thunder Punch!" The Trainer ordered. Nidoking came at Typhlosion with a Thunder Punch.
"Dodge it!" Ethan called out. Typhlosion tries to dodge it, but he still got hit. "Typhlosion!"
"Use Drill Run!" The Trainer ordered. Nidoking came running at Typhlosion with a drill-like structure coming at Typhlosion.
"Use Flamethrower! Full power!" Ethan ordered. Typhlosion unleashed a powerful Flamethrower, engulfing Nidoking in a cloak of flames. Typhlosion stopped firing Flamethrower as Nidoking fell to the ground, beaten.
"I lost!" The Trainer exclaimed in shock.
"Great job, Typhlosion!" Ethan said.
"Phlosion!" Typhlosion said.
"Man, first that Silver guy beats my Nidoking and calls him weak, but now I lost to this guy," the Trainer said. Sora and Kairi looked at each other and they knew who they were talking about.
"Hey, I thought your Nidoking was cool. You did a great job raising him," Ethan said. The Trainer smiled at the compliment.
"Thanks," the Trainer said. They shook hands and took off.
"Hey, Ethan!" Sora called out. Ethan turned to see the group.
"Sora, Kairi, Riku, Naminé, Ash, Leaf, Tracey. Good to see your faces," Ethan greeted.
"Typhlosion!" Typhlosion happily said, seeing the other Pokémon again.
"How long were you standing there?" Ethan asked.
"Just when you started battling," Tracey said.
"You and Typhlosion were amazing," Ash said.
"What have you been up to?" Kairi asked.
"Training for my Gym battle in Mahogany Town and that's when I bumped into that guy and he challenged me into a Pokémon battle. I didn't know until just now that you were watching. I take it that you're heading the same way," Ethan said. He noticed someone new in the group and someone missing. "Say, where's Sakura? And who's she?"
"Who's Sakura?" Meiko asked.
"Sakura is a friend of ours who was just with us until just recently," Kairi said.
"Sakura left for her own journey, and as for her, we only met her just today," Sora said.
"It's nice to meet you. My name's Meiko Mochizuki," Meiko introduced herself.
"Nice to meet you, Meiko," Ethan said.
"I thought you were done for when that Nidoking attacked with that Drill Run," Meiko said.
"Meowth," Little Mei said.
"Thanks a lot, Meiko," Ethan said.
Unknown to them, Team Rocket is floating in their balloon and they spot the group.
"There they are! The twerps are right where we want them," Meowth said.
"Well, I hope it works this time, because that incident with the Crystal Bells and almost getting that Suicune definitely set us back. And we're greatly overdo with our payments," James said.
"It would have worked if you two idiots did it right!" Jessie said.
"Who's the idiot that broke one of the Crystal Bells in the first place?" James sarcastically asked.
"Watch who you're mouthing out to!" Jessie barked, having him in a chokehold.
"Pipe down, the both of you! We've got to do this right this time, so you get your disguises ready," Meowth said.
"Right!" Jessie and James said as Jessie let's go of James and disguised themselves as scientists.
A little while later, just when the group was about to take off for Mahogany Town, Jessie and James approached the group.
"Excuse us there, young man," James said. Sora wasn't fooled as he recognized them very easily.
"Oh no, not these clowns again," Sora said under his breath. He decided to play along with them and see what they were up to. "How can we help you?"
"We are conducting a top-secret experiment, so we were wondering if we could borrow your Pikachu for a bit," Jessie said. She said in her thoughts, "A very long bit."
"A top-secret experiment?" Sora asked.
"So top-secret, we can't even tell you. So we require the electricity from your Pikachu to make it work," James said.
"Well, you'll gonna have to wait a bit because I thought I'd have my Pikachu ready before I hand him to you," Sora said, winking his eye to his friends. They all nodded. All except for Meiko who was just confused.
"Yeah, you'll have to excuse us for a moment, please," Kairi said.
"Make it fast," Jessie said. Everyone went out of sight of Jessie and James. "What are they up to?"
"I don't know. But they look like they bought it," James said.
"Those morons think they're so smart," Sora whispered.
"Morons? You mean those scientists?" Meiko asked.
"Those aren't scientists. It's Team Rocket trying to pull a fast one. I recognized them with that hair of theirs and their voices," Sora said.
"They've been following us, trying to steal Pikachu from Sora and causing all kinds of trouble everywhere they go," Kairi said.
"I heard of Team Rocket. They're a bunch of Pokémon thieves," Meiko said.
"Well, they're not very good at it," Riku said.
"This would be a good time to put my duplication spell to the test," Kairi said.
"You can do that?" Meiko asked.
"I didn't know we can do that?" Ethan asked.
"I learned it just recently. I didn't get the chance to use it even against those Heartless," Kairi said. She summoned her Keyblade. "Pikachu, I hope you're ready for this."
"Pikachu," Pikachu said, feeling nervous.
"Here we go," Kairi said, casting her spell. Suddenly, another Pikachu materialized from a sparkle of Kairi's magic. The duplicate Pikachu was like Sora's in every way. "It worked."
"Now to make our magic trick more effective," Sora said, unzipping his backpack. "Climb in, Pikachu." Pikachu quickly climbed in. He picked up the duplicate. "Here we go."
"What's taking you so long?" Jessie asked.
"We're here, we're here! We just had to give him a quick brushing to make him look good," Sora said.
"How considerate of you," Jessie said. She quickly snatched "Pikachu" from Sora's arms. "Yoink!" She pushed Sora down.
"Hey, what was that for?!" Sora exclaimed, tricking her. Team Rocket laughed.
"Prepare for trouble, we have taken our prize!" Jessie started.
"Make it double, you fell for our disguise!" James said with a rhyme.
"To protect the world from devastation!"
"To unite all peoples within our nation!"
"To denounce the evils of truth and love!"
"To extend our reach to the stars above!"
"Jessie!"
"James!"
"Team Rocket's blasting off at the speed of light!"
"Surrender now or prepare to fight!"
"Meowth! That's right!"
"Wobbuffet!"
"Mime, Mime!"
"Team Rocket!" Everyone shouted.
"Give Pikachu back!" Sora demanded.
"Eevee!" Angel said.
"If you want Pikachu back, then come and take him back!" Jessie said, putting Pikachu in a shockproof case and locked it. "But you'll have to catch up with us!"
They started to run for it. Sora, Kairi Riku, Naminé, Ash, Leaf, Ethan, Tracey, Meiko, and the other Pokémon chased after the Moron Trio and their Pokémon.
"How long do we have to keep it up?" Ethan asked.
"Until the duplicate disappears. What I read is that the lifespan of a magical duplicate is very short, but it doesn't say for how long," Kairi said.
Team Rocket keeps on running right until the balloon was in sight.
"There's the balloon!" Jessie said.
"And we gotta make it in!" Meowth said as they jumped in and took off in the air. They gloated as they float right up with the fake Pikachu still in the cage. "Yes! We made it!"
"We finally won! We finally outsmarted those twerps!" James said.
"Ha! We have Pikachu and you don't! Who's the moron now?!" Jessie gloated as she gave them an eyelid pull taunt. The duplicate finally vanishes. And that was just perfect.
"You sure about that?" Sora called out from below.
"How about I tell you again! We have Pika-" Jessie screams when she sees the duplicate gone. James and Meowth looked at her.
"Pika-Aaah?" James asked.
"Never heard of that one," Meowth said.
"The cage is empty, you idiots!" Jessie exclaimed. James and Meowth looked in the cage and they didn't see Pikachu in it.
"Hey, Pikachu's not in there!" Meowth gasped.
"But, that's impossible! That cage was locked up tight! If it opened, one of us would have noticed!" James said. Sora whistled from down below. They turned to see the real Pikachu with them.
"Pikachu?!" Team Rocket exclaimed.
"How did you get back down?!" Jessie yelled. Sora laughed.
"You never had Pikachu to begin with!" Sora said.
"What?!" Jessie exclaimed in anger.
"Prepare for trouble, you thought you were pretty slick!" Sora said.
"Make it double, you fell for our magic trick!" Kairi said. This just made Jessie very angry.
"You know, I thought they agreed too easily," James said, stroking his chin.
"Who would have thought they'd be so clever?" Meowth asked.
"HOW DARE YOU TRICK US LIKE THIS! UNFORGIVABLE!" Jessie yelled. She brings the balloon down. "We're not going to let you get away with this!" Jessie said, taking out a Pokéball and threw it. "Go! Arbok!"
"Right behind you, Jessie!" James said, taking out a Pokéball and joining in. "Go! Weezing!" Arbok and Weezing both came out at once. Sora took out a Pokéball and threw it.
"You're up, Yanmega!" Sora called out. Kairi joined in with a Pokéball in hand.
"Go! Chinchou!" Kairi called out.
Yanmega and Chinchou both came out at once, ready to battle Team Rocket.
"Arbok! Use Crunch!" Jessie ordered. Arbok came at Yanmega.
"Weezing! Use Double Hit!" James ordered. Weezing heads for Chinchou.
"Yanmega! Use Quick Attack!" Sora ordered. Yanmega dodges Arbok's bite attack and lands a Quick Attack onto Arbok.
"Use Spark, Chinchou!" Kairi ordered. Chinchou's body gave off sparks of electricity and lands a hit onto Weezing.
"Arbok! Use Wrap on Chinchou!" Jessie ordered. Arbok wraps his body around Chinchou and started to squeeze.
"Yanmega! Help Chinchou!" Sora said. Yanmega flew to give Chinchou a hand.
"No you don't! Weezing! Use Sludge Bomb!" James ordered. Weezing spewed a huge ball of sludge, hitting Yanmega and poisoning him. "Use Double Hit!" Weezing gave the Ogre Darner Pokémon a couple of hits.
"Now to get to Pikachu while they ain't looking," Meowth said as he's about to sneak over, but Little Mei stood in front of him. "Huh?" Little Mei just looked at him sternly. His heart started to beat fast. "Oh, what a vision of beauty such as this! I'm in love!"
"This is as far you're going to get!" - Little Mei subtitle.
"Tell me, do you believe in love at first sight?" Meowth asked in a lovestruck tone. Little Mei was a little confused.
"Say what?" - Little Mei subtitle. Little Me is tilting her head.
"I know we just met, but I must ask your paw in marriage," Meowth said.
"No way, you're going have to take me to dinner first." - Little Mei subtitle. She gave Meowth a series of scratches and sends Meowth flying in the air, still lovestruck.
"I think she likes me," Meowth said.
Back to the battle, Arbok is still squeezing Chinchou tightly.
"Break free, Chinchou!" Kairi called out. Chinchou yelled as he was being squeezed. Chinchou then started to evolve, much to everyone's surprise.
"Chinchou's evolving!" Tracey said. Chinchou has become a Lanturn. The newly evolved Lanturn fires Water Gun into Arbok's face, forcing the Cobra Pokémon to let go of him.
"You evolved into a Lanturn!" Kairi said.
"Lanturn!" Lanturn said.
"We won't let that stop us! Arbok! Use Crunch!" Jessie ordered. Arbok charges at Lanturn.
"No you don't! Lanturn! Use Dazzling Gleam!" Kairi ordered. Lanturn unleashed Dazzling Gleam from his bulb. Arbok is struck by the rainbow energy.
"Yanmega! Use Ancient Power!" Sora ordered. Yanmega unleashed Ancient Power at Team Rocket's Pokémon, hitting them hard. "Let's wrap this up! Use Thunderbolt, Pikachu!"
"You too, Lanturn!" Kairi ordered.
Pikachu and Lanturn unleashed Thunderbolt, hitting them on the mark. Their balloon explodes as they go flying in the air.
"Team Rocket's blasting off again!" Team Rocket shouted as they go flying. A star twinkles in the distance.
"Good riddance to those three," Naminé said.
"You've said it, Naminé. They'll never learn," Riku said.
"But it sure was fun tricking them like that," Ethan said.
"Yeah, did you see the look on her face when she thought she grabbed the real thing?" Sora said, almost laughing.
"I still can't believe that worked," Ash said.
Meanwhile, Team Rocket crashed landed in a pond.
"We blew it again," Meowth said.
"Well, at least it can't get any worse," James said. A bunch of Goldeen and Seaking attacked them by jabbing their horns at Team Rocket, making them yelp in pain. "I could be wrong!" Team Rocket ran across the pond as the Goldeen and Seaking were chasing after them until they've reached shore.
"Oh, I'm gonna be sore tomorrow," Meowth said.
"Just when we finally had Pikachu in our hands, just when we were winning for once, it all slipped right through our fingers," Jessie said. "This is all your fault!"
"Me? What did I do?" Meowth asked.
"If you haven't gotten distracted, we would have had Pikachu in our hands by now!" Jessie said.
"Hey, that was a momentarily lapse on my part!" Meowth said.
Jessie and Meowth kept on arguing over whose fault it was. James just sighed to himself.
After the whole ordeal with Team Rocket, Yanmega was given an antidote to cure him of his poisoning due to Weezing's Sludge Bomb and the couple healed the injured Pokémon with their cure spells.
"Feel better, Yanmega?" Sora asked.
"Mega," Yanmega said.
"Is it always like this?" Meiko asked.
"Pretty much. Those three never learn their lessons," Riku said.
"They just keep asking for it," Naminé said.
"But knowing them, they'll just come right back for more," Tracey said.
"Hey, how about we quit thinking about those three and keep moving?" Sora asked.
"Right," the rest of the group said.
Meiko and Little Mei meeting Sora and the rest was one of the best things to happen to her since being saved from Heartless, because she has gained some new friends out of it. As they continue towards Mahogany Town, Ethan joins the group again since they're heading the same way. But what else can happen? Well, just wait and see.
