Episode 189: Latios and Latias
About a couple of days have passed since swearing secrecy of the existence of the Legendary Crystal, so Sora, Kairi, Ash, Leaf, Tracey, Pikachu, Angel, Togepi, and the Pichu have made a stop to a nearby town. As they keep going, they're greeted by a young girl who eyes Togepi in Kairi's arms and she started to approach her.
"Excuse me, but does that little Togepi belong to you?" The girl asked.
"Yes, he does," Kairi answered.
"Well, I was wondering if you're willing to trade me for that little cutie. I have a Venusaur, an Espeon, and a Cloyster, so make your pick," the girl said.
"No, thank you. I think my Togepi is happy where he is," Kairi said.
"Toge, Toge," Togepi chirped.
"Okay, then how about we have a battle instead? No strings attached," the girl said, taking out a Pokéball and held it tight.
"Okay, I can take you up on that offer," Kairi said.
"Great!" The girl said. She threw the Pokéball. "I choose you, Espeon!" The girl called out. Espeon came out, ready to battle. Kairi took out a Pokéball and threw it.
"Go! Ledian!" Kairi called out. Ledian came out and ready to go.
"Kairi made a good choice, because a Bug-type Pokémon should be a good matchup against a Psychic-type like Espeon," Tracey said.
"Well, we're about to see if type advantages will work out with her," Ash said.
"Go for it, Kairi," Sora and Leaf both cheered.
"Pika, Pika!" Pikachu said.
"Eevee, vee, Eevee!" Angel said.
"Pichu!" The Spikey-eared Pichu said.
"Pichu!" The Shiny Pichu said.
"Espeon! Use Iron Tail!" The girl ordered.
"Ledian! Mach Punch!" Kairi ordered. Ledian dashed and lands a hit before Espeon could act, but the Sun Pokémon swung its tail and lands a hit onto Ledian. "Use Silver Wind!" Ledian blew a silver gust of wind right at Espeon, dealing some heavy damage.
"Espeon! Use Psychic Fangs!" The girl ordered. Espeon came at Ledian with its fangs emitting a psychic energy.
"Dodge and use Comet Punch!" Kairi ordered. Ledian dodges Espeon's attack and lands a series of hits on the Sun Pokemon. "Use Bug Buzz!" Ledian unleashed a buzzing soundwave and struck Espeon hard, resulting in a knockout. The girl calls Espeon back and smiled.
"You battled hard, Espeon. You've earned a good, long rest," the girl said. She took out another Pokéball and threw it. "Your turn now, Cloyster!" Her Pokéball opened and it has a dark blue shell. Stars swirls around the Bivalve Pokémon upon entry. Kairi calls Ledian back and took out another Pokeball and threw it.
"Go! Ampharos!" Kairi called out. Ampharos came right out and her tail gave off a bright glow.
"Cloyster! Use Ice Shard!" The girl ordered. Cloyster unleashed Ice Shard right at the Light Pokémon.
"Dodge it and use Thunder Punch!" Kairi ordered. Ampharos dodges Cloyster's Ice Shard and came at Cloyster with a Thunder Punch.
"Use Protect!" The girl ordered. Cloyster uses Protect to block Ampharos's Thunder Punch before she could land a hit. "Now use Ice Beam!" Cloyster fired an Ice Beam, hitting Ampharos. "Use Hyper Beam!" Cloyster fired a Hyper Beam, hitting Ampharos, resulting in a knockout. Kairi calls Ampharos back and smiled kindly.
"You did your best, Ampharos. Get a good rest," Kairi said. Her opponent called Cloyster back and she took out another Pokéball and threw it. "Your turn now, Venusaur!" The Pokéball opened, and it's revealed to be a female Venusaur, just like Leaf's Venusaur. Kairi took out another Pokéball and threw it.
"Your turn now, Quilava!" Kairi called out. Quilava came out, waiting for his Trainer to give the word.
"Venusaur! Use Sludge Bomb!" The girl ordered. Venusaur fired a Sludge Bomb right at the Volcano Pokémon.
"Use Aerial Ace!" Kairi ordered. Quilava dodges Venusaur's attack and lands a hit with an Aerial Ace. "Use Flame Wheel!" Quilava curls up and rolls right at Venusaur, landing a hit.
"Venusaur! Use Solar Beam!" The girl ordered. Venusaur begins to build up solar energy. Her whole body begins to give off a bright yellow glow. Kairi knew it would cause some heavy damage when it hits.
"Quilava! Use Flamethrower!" Kairi ordered. Quilava fires a Flamethrower right at Venusaur. The Seed Pokémon fires Solar Beam and the two attacks collides with each other and they hold on. They kept on holding on right until Venusaur's Solar Beam started to push Quilava's Flamethrower, so Quilava pushed right back with a much stronger Flamethrower and pushes Solar Beam back and lands a hit onto Venusaur, leaving Venusaur burned.
"Use Vine Whip!" The girl ordered. Venusaur extends her vines right at the Volcano Pokemon, landing a hit. Venusaur was hurt by the burns she recieved. "Use Vine Whip again!" Venusaur extends another Vine Whip right at Quilava.
"Okay, Quilava! Use Dig!" Kairi ordered. Quilava dug right in the earth to avoid Venusaur's Vine Whip.
"Keep your eyes opened, Venusaur! That Quilava could come out at any moment!" The girl said. Venusaur looked around and then she was hit by Quilava when he came out of the ground. "Use Flamethrower!" Quilava fired a Flamethrower right at Venusaur, dealing some heavy damage and resulting in a knockout. Kairi has won the battle. "Wow, you're good."
"Thanks, you're good, too," Kairi said. They shook hands after a good battle.
Sora walked up to his girlfriend and gave her a loving hug.
"Good battle, Kairi. You should be proud of yourself, Kairi," Sora said.
"Thank you, Sora. You're such a supportive boyfriend," Kairi said. She gave her boyfriend a kiss on the lips, so Sora kissed her right back. Leaf was smiling warmly, swooning over how romantic it looked.
Meanwhile, in a city, a pair of young men were driving a large red truck.
"Are you sure that someone said they saw a Latios and a Latias around here?" One of the young men asked.
"That they did, Teddy. Those Pokémon are legendary Pokémon that came from the Hoenn region, so hardly anyone has ever seen either one of them. And you know how valuable legendary Pokémon are. One already worths a lot of money, but they're only more valuable when we bring in the whole set," the other young man said with a grin.
"Ooh, I like the sound of that, Eddy. When we bag those legendary beauties in and sell them to the highest bidder," Teddy said.
"We'll be rolling in dough," Eddy said, laughing. Teddy joins in the laughing. They soon stopped laughing. "Okay, enough laughing, we got some work to do." His radar goes off. "And not too soon." The truck stopped, so they stepped out. They reach took out a Pokéball and threw them. "Okay, Mr. Mime! Go!" His Pokéball opened and a Mr. Mime came right out, but it looked completely different. It's mostly blue and white. It also has blue growths resembling clown hair on its pale head; however, these also extend and cover its cheeks, creating a mutton chop style sideburn effect resembling earmuffs. It has wider-shaped eyes and a small blue triangle for a nose. It has a suit-like body comprising a white top, blue shoulder spheres, blue bottom trousers, and a diamond-shaped crystal that resembles a tie. It has mitten-like hands and feet that are more defined, resembling blue shoes with light blue soles, presumably made out of ice. This is a Galarian Mr. Mime.
"Go! Weezing!" Teddy called out. His Pokéball opened and it unleashed a Weezing, but that looked different, too. It has a gray body with the skull, crossbones, and ring patterns changed to the color yellow. Both heads have a hat-like tube located on top of them that constantly releases purified air. Five puffs of green poison gas clouds can be seen floating around it. The gas clouds also partly cover its faces: the larger head has a mustache-like cloud on its upper lip, while the smaller head has clouds on its face in the shape of eyebrows and a beard. This is a Galarian Weezing. "Use Strange Stream!" Weezing unleashed a light green and purple sparkling steam from its mouths and spreads it all around.
It forces out two Pokémon from out of hiding. They both have a birdlike body stylized after a plane. They are both Latios and Latias.
Latios's body flows slowly into a thick neck, giving it a bulky appearance. It has no legs, usually floating instead. Most of its body is blue, with white areas near its arms and a white stripe on its back that extend up to its head. Jet-plane wings sit on top of its back, while two tall, jagged fins point behind it from its rear. A red triangle marks the center of its chest, while a blue mask partially covers its face. Long, ear-like fins extend from its jaws to over its head, and its eyes are red. It has three-fingered arms with a blue covering on the outer side of the lower arms.
Latias's long neck stretches forward from its squat body. It has no legs, usually floating instead. The rear half of its body is largely red and the upper half white, with jet-plane wings high on its rear and fins on the bottom near its tail. A blue triangle marks the center of its chest, while a red mask partially covers its face. Ear-like fins sit on top of its head and its eyes are yellow. It has short, three-fingered arms with a red covering on the outer side of the lower arms.
"There they are! Mr. Mime! Use Ice Beam!" Eddy ordered. Mr. Mime fired an Ice Beam right at Latios and Latias. Latios attacks opens his mouth and white sparkles form and gather in front of him, forming together into a pink ball of energy. He then fires a massive pink beam from the ball at Mr. Mime. "It's using Luster Purge!"
"Weezing! Use Fairy Wind!" Teddy ordered.
"Mr. Mime! Use Blizzard!" Eddy ordered.
Both Pokémon unleashed Fairy Wind and Blizzard and they push Latio's attack back. Eddy took out one Pokéball as Teddy took out two Pokéballs and threw them.
"Persian! Go!" Eddy called out.
"Go! Grimer! Muk!" Teddy called out.
The Pokéballs opened and Alolan Persian, Grimer, and Muk came right out.
"Persian, Muk, get in front of Weezing and Mr. Mime! Weezing, Mr. Mime! Cease fire!" Eddy ordered. Persian and Muk got in front of Latio's attack, and it does nothing to them. Mr. Mime and Weezing ceased fire. Latios raised her arms and mist forms from all around. The mist forms into a ball and it grew bigger with each passing second until it was big enough for Latias threw it at the Persian and Muk but it does nothing to them. Eddy laughed. "Did you really think that Mist Ball of yours would work? Well, you should think again, because both our Persian and Muk are Dark-type Pokémon, so Psychic-type moves have zero effect on them!"
"Okay, use Snarl!" Teddy ordered. Persian, Grimer, and Muk unleashed multiple purple and black rings of energy from its mouth at the two Pokémon, hitting them.
"Blizzard and Strange Stream!" Eddy and Teddy ordered. Mr. Mime and Weezing unleashed Blizzard and Strange Stream right at Latios and Latias, hitting them both. Knowing they were being overpowered, they decided to retreat.
"They're getting away!" Teddy said.
"Not if we have anything to say about it!" Eddy said.
Eddy, Teddy, and their Pokémon got in their truck and begun to pursue Latios and Latias. They both turned invisible and flew as fast as they could. Eddy and Teddy searched around for the legendary Pokémon, but they knew they couldn't have gotten far.
"Those beauties have to be here somewhere," Teddy said.
"I agree, Teddy. And when we find them, they'll be ours for the taking," Eddy said.
Not too far away, Sora, Kairi, Ash, Leaf, Tracey, Pikachu, Angel, Togepi, and the Pichu to rest. Kairi took out her Pokémon Box and exchanged Lanturn for Smeargle. Kairi thought about two Smeargle assisting Tracey would be a good idea since they would get along so well, and it turns out that she was right. Tracey was sketching some wild Lickitung as they used their long tongues to grab some berries that resembles raspberries. They're known as Razz Berries.
Pikachu, Angel, Togepi, and the Pichu were playing around, taking a break from the training they were going through, but on high alert just in case Team Rocket were around.
Ash checked off a list of things that had a clue that lead back in the realm of darkness, but so far no luck.
"It's sure is nice to relax every once in a while," Sora said.
"Uh, yeah, nice," Ash said with a smile, not wanting to give away too much.
"I agree. No signs of Team Rocket and no signs of the Nobodies or the Heartless either," Leaf said. "Ever since Ash and I started traveling with you, Kairi, and Tracey, it started to feel like the good ol' days when we used to hang out together."
"Come to think of it, it really did. Ever since we got our first Pokémon, we never got to really hang out together until then," Ash said.
"Yeah, it did seem like that. We were inseparable in those days. Everybody used to call us the Four Musketeers because it was always you two, me, and Karen," Sora said. Ash and Leaf both laughed at the memory.
"Our parents called us that especially," Ash said. He laughed. "We even got into trouble that one time."
"Which one?" Sora and Leaf asked.
"This I would like to hear," Kairi said as she sat down. They turned to see Kairi sitting next to them. "What kind of mischief did you get into when you were little?"
"If you have to know, Kairi, I'll tell you. It was back when we were really little. It happened on one Saturday morning when Sora was having his breakfast, so Leaf, Tom, and I came over to play with him. Sora and Karen joined us in playing ball right in the backyard. Just before they stepped out, she told them both not to tear or dirty their clothes. We were kicking Leaf's new ball around right until Sora's mom called us in and for some milk and cookies. After we got done, we went back to playing, so Sora gave one mighty kick and it ends up being up in the tree. Sora climbed up the tree to get it down, and fell off the tree and landed in a mud puddle below, splashing mud on me, Leaf, and Karen," Ash explained.
"I remember that. When his mom came out to check on us, she saw our clothes all dirty from the mud, she threw quite a fit. We had a bath and had our clothes in the laundry to be cleaned," Leaf said.
"So my mom gave us all an earful about getting our clothes dirty; especially me since I was the one who climbed up the tree and because I was the oldest twin, so I should have set a better example for Karen," Sora said. Kairi giggled.
"That's actually pretty funny," Kairi said. She laughed.
"So Kairi, have you ever gotten into trouble before?" Leaf asked.
"Well, since you asked, I remember one time when I was really little. I got into the kitchen to have myself a snack. I was looking for some chocolate pudding to snack on, but the thing was, I didn't know where to start looking, so I ended up making a big mess while I was looking. I knocked over everything in the kitchen. Unfortunately for me, that didn't go unnoticed. My parents caught me when I finally had found the pudding, but when I saw the look on their faces, I knew I was in big trouble. They both threw quite a fit when they saw the mess and they gave me quite a scolding for it. And they didn't let me have dessert for a week," Kairi said.
"I never had you pegged for a troublemaker, Kairi," Sora said, laughing.
"No, but I had you pegged for one," Kairi said. Kairi laughed along Ash and Leaf.
The Pichu were running ahead of Pikachu and Angel as they kept playing.
"Hey, you two, I told you to stay close." - Pikachu subtitle. The Pichu decided to pull a prank on their adoptive big brother and hid in the tall grass. Pikachu came looking for them. The Pichu moved around in the grass. "I know you're here somewhere. Come on out. Come out, come out, wherever you are." - Pikachu subtitle. Both Pichu chuckled quietly, knowing it was working.
"Say, what do you think we should do?" - Spiky-eared Pichu subtitle.
"I know. How about we find some bad fruit and throw it at Pikachu? Make him stink like a yucky Grimer." - Shiny Pichu subtitle. Both Pichu searched around for some rotten fruit, but they didn't expect to find was Latios and Latias. They were injured and exhuasted. They have collapsed at some point. The Pichu knew Pikachu had to know about this.
"Okay, you two. Joke's over. If you two don't come out here this minute, you'll be in big, big trouble. You have until the count of 3. 1. 2." - Pikachu subtitle. Before Pikachu could count to three, the Pichu tackled Pikachu down. "That was quicker than I expected." - Pikachu subtitle. He got up on his feet.
"Big brother, we found two Pokémon in the tall grass!" - Shiny Pichu subtitle.
"They were Pokémon we never saw before." - Spiky-eared Pichu subtitle.
"What Pokémon are you talkimg about?" - Pikachu subtitle. The Pichu started to pull Pikachu in through the grass. "Hey, don't pull me so hard, you two!" - Pikachu subtitle. The Pichu dragged Pikachu through the grass until Latios and Latias were in sight. "What's gotten into the both of yo-" Pikachu subtitle. He saw Latios and Latias laying in the grass, hurt. "Sora and the others should know about this!" - Pikachu subtitle. Pikachu and the Pichu rush out of the tall grass and rush as Angel and Togepi were still playing. She saw Pikachu and the Pichu coming. Pikachu then started to tap on Sora's leg when he reached him.
"Pikachu, what's up?" Sora asked.
"Pika, Pikachu, Pika, Pika!" Pikachu said. He stretches his face to look like either Latios or Latias.
"Pikachu's trying to tell us something," Kairi said. Tracey and the Smeargle caught wind of the situation.
"What's going on?" Tracey asked.
"Pikachu wants to show us something," Ash said.
"He must have found something," Leaf said.
Pikachu started to lead the group to the high grass and went on in. Sora followed his partner right inside the grass. Latios and Latias were right in the Mouse Pokémon's sights and he stopped.
"Okay, Pikachu. What is it that you're trying to show me?" Sora asked. He saw Latios and Latias. "Those are Pokémon. Guys, you should see this!"
"What is it, Sora?" Kairi asked as she, Angel, Togepi, and the Pichu arrived. Ash, Leaf, Tracey, and the Smeargle came and that's when they saw Latios and Latias. "Oh!"
"What kind of Pokémon are these?" Ash asked.
"I don't believe it! A Latios and a Latias!" Tracey exclaimed.
"Latios and Latias? No way," Leaf said, awestruck. Sora and Kairi both took out their Pokédexes and scanned the injured Pokemon.

Latios will only open its heart to a Trainer with a compassionate spirit. This Pokémon can fly faster than a jet plane by folding its forelegs to minimize air resistance.

Latias is highly sensitive to the emotions of people. If it senses any hostility, this Pokémon ruffles the feathers all over its body and cries shrilly to intimidate the foe.
"Latios and Latias are legendary Pokémon, aren't they?" Kairi asked.
"Yes. They originated from the Hoenn region. I never expected to see a Latias and a Latios here in the Johto region," Tracey said.
"But they look hurt very bad. What could have happened to them?" Leaf asked.
"I don't know, but I think we should take them with us back to camp and treat their injuries," Ash suggested.
"Good idea," Sora said, taking out Feraligatr's Pokeball and opened it to let out the Big Jaw Pokemon as Ash has let out his Charizard. Feraligatr carried Latias and Charizard carried Latios. They brought the injured Eon Pokemon back to their camp. But they were unaware of the Alolan Persian was hiding in the grass, stalking them. Latios opened his eyes and saw Sora looking back at him. Thinking he was in danger, Latios started to lash out, letting out his cries. "Hey, take it easy, Latios. We only want to help. Your injuries will get worse if you don't let us help you." Latios tries to attack, but he was too hurt to do so.
Latias opened her eyes and she looked at Kairi as she looked back at her.
"It's okay, it's okay. I won't hurt you," Kairi said. Latios felt safe around here and she nuzzled the girl. "Aw, you're a sweet girl."
"Calm down, Latios!" Sora said.
"Pikachu!" Pikachu said.
"What's Latio's deal?" Ash asked.
"Latios must think you're trying to hurt him," Tracey said.
"Him?" Sora asked.
"Right. I heard Latios are all males while Latias are all females. Even Kairi could tell you that," Tracey said.
"He doesn't know you're trying to help," Leaf said.
"I'll show him I'm trying to help," Sora said, heading to his backpack and he pulled out a chocolate bar. "Here, some chocolate." Latios was skeptical about accepting it from him. "It's okay. It's food. I'll show you." He took a bite of the candy bar, showing him it's okay. "See? No problem." Sora broke off a piece and held it. Latios sniffed it and found the smell to his liking. Latios then took a bite of the candy and liked it. "That's a good boy." He gave Latios the rest of the chocolate bar, seeing Latios scarfing it down. A chocolate smear is on his face. "It doesn't take a genius to figure you liked it."
"Pika, Pika," Pikachu said. Latios looked right at Pikachu and smiled.
"So what happened and how did you get hurt?" Sora asked.
"It's not like they would tell us, Sora," Leaf said.
"She's right. I think it might be easier if Meowth were here, because he could translate for us since he's a Pokémon and understands Pokémon language," Kairi said.
"Knowing those three, they'll backstab us the first chance they got," Ash said.
"I agree. But still, I'm curious about how they got hurt this bad. There's no way these Pokémon could gotten hurt so easily, even if they they were outnumbered," Tracey said.
"Speaking of Team Rocket, you think they are the ones who did this to them?" Leaf asked.
"I'm gonna have to doubt it, because we shouldn't be giving them too much credit. Besides, I noticed some traces of ice on them, so I have to assume someone used an Ice-type Pokémon on them. And I also found some sparkles on them, which could come from a Fairy-type Pokémon, too," Tracey said.
"It's a known fact Dragon-type Pokémon are weak against Ice and Fairy-type Pokémon," Kairi said.
"And those Pokémon did a number on them," Sora said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"Toge, Toge," Togepi chirped.
"Pichu," the Shiny Pichu said.
"Pichu," the Spiky-eared Pichu said.
"And I have an idea on who could've done something like this. I think it might have been a Pokémon Hunter," Kairi said.
"Grimer!" A voice roared. They turned to see an Alolan Grimer.
"Muk!" The Alolan Muk roared.
"Alolan Grimer and Muk!" Tracey said. Sora and Kairi took out their Pokédexes and scanned them both.

There are over a hundred kinds of poison inside its body. Chemical reactions between different poisons are the source of its vitality.
"I think you're right about the Pokémon Hunters, Kairi, because there's no way we get Grimer and Muk like those outside of Alola," Sora said, putting his Pokédex away.
"They must have something to do with Latios and Latias being hurt," Ash said.
Just then, Persian, Mr. Mime, and Weezing, followed.
"What the? Mr. Mime, Weezing, and Persian?" Sora asked. Sora and Kairi have taken out their Pokédexes and scanned them both.

This Pokémon consumes particles that contaminate the air. Instead of leaving droppings, it expels clean air.
"And those would be Dark, Ice, and Fairy-type Pokémon," Kairi said, putting her Pokédex away.
"Eevee!" Angel agreed.
Just then, the truck drove in and they eyed their prize.
"Did you think you can get away from us that easily? Think again!" Eddy said.
"You're not getting away this time!" Teddy said.
"If you think you're getting these Pokémon, then you should think again!" Kairi said.
"Yeah, the only way you're going to get them is through us!" Sora said.
"Pika!" Pikachu said.
"Fine with us! We can take any Pokémon you can throw at us!" Eddy said.
Sora took out his Pokéballs and threw them.
"Go! Xatu, Sudowoodo, Heracross, Noctowl, and Skarmory!" Sora called out. Kairi took out her Pokéballs and threw them.
"Go right in, Ampharos, Miltank, Mismagius, Quilava, and Corsola!" Kairi called out.
Their Pokéballs opened and they all came out to battle against Eddy and Teddy's Pokémon. Stars swirls around Noctowl upon entry.
"Weezing! Grimer! Muk! Use Snarl and Strange Stream!" Teddy ordered. Grimer and Muk unleashed Snarl as Weezing let out Strange Stream.
"Smeargle! Use Sketch on that Weezing!" Kairi ordered. Kairi's Smeargle waved his tail as a pencil appeared and circles around Weezing, leaving behind a trail of pink sparkles. Kairi's Smeargle instantly learns how to use Strange Stream. "Use Headbutt on Weezing!" Kairi's Smeargle lands a Headbutt onto Weezing, dealing some damage.
"Mr. Mime! Use Blizzard!" Eddy ordered. Mr. Mime blew a blizzard right at Sora and Kairi's Pokémon.
"Dodge it!" Sora called out. Heracross, Sudowoodo, Noctowl, Skarmory, and Xatu dodged. "Xatu! Use Future Sight!" Xatu's eyes gave out a blue glow as she created a ball of energy and sends it to the sky as a portal opens. "Sudowoodo! Use Mimic!" Sudowoodo looked at Mr. Mime and instantly learned how to use Blizzard. "Alright, Sudowoodo! Use Blizzard! Noctowl! Wing Attack! Skarmory! Steel Wing! Heracross! Megahorn!"
"Persian! Use Shadow Claw!" Eddy ordered. Persian came at Xatu and slashed her. Sora's other Pokémon unleashed their attacks and struck the Dancing and Alolan Classy Cat Pokémon.
"Grimer! Muk! Weezing! Sludge Bomb!" Teddy ordered. Grimer, Muk, and Weezing unleashed their Sludge Bombs right at Kairi's Pokémon.
"Dodge it!" Kairi called out. Kairi's Pokémon all dodged the Poison-type attack launched at them. Quilava! Use Aerial Ace on Grimer!" Quilava dashed around and lands a hit onto Grimer, dealing some damage. "Miltank! Use Stomp on Muk!" Miltank raised her hoof and slammed it down on Muk. "Ampharos! Use Thunder Punch on Weezing!" Ampharos lands a Thunder Punch onto Weezing. "Corsola! Use Bubble Beam! Mismagius! Use Shadow Ball!" Corsola fired Bubble Beam as Mismagius fired Shadow Ball, hitting them. "Miltank! Use Rollout!" Miltank curls up into a ball and rolls right at Teddy's Pokémon, dealing some heavy damage.
"Stay strong!" Teddy said. Miltank came too strong and fast for the Poison-types to do anything, so they were all beaten.
"Keep it up!" Kairi ordered. Miltank rolls right at Persian and Mr. Mime, finishing them off. Eddy and Teddy then ends up being caught in the mix, so they go flying in the air and they land right on their backs. "You're safe now, Latios and Latias. Go while you still can." Latios and Latias were amazed and grateful that they were saved. The two Eon Pokémon took their leave and turned invisible.
"Now that they're gone, let's deal make it easy for Officer Jenny to find them," Leaf suggested.
"You've read my mind, Leaf," Sora said.
The Pokémon Hunters and their Pokémon were placed in their own cage as Sora contacted Officer Jenny through his PokéGear and she came and arrested them.
"Thank you for your help. Eddy and Teddy are Pokémon Hunters wanted in the Johto, Galar, and Alola regions. And thanks to you, they're finally going to be behind bars," Officer Jenny said.
"We're just happy to be of help," Sora said.
Officer Jenny drove off with her prisoners as their truck was impounded. Sora and Kairi looked up to the sky, thinking about Latios and Latias.
"I hope they won't run into any trouble again," Kairi said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"Toge, Toge," Togepi chirped.
"Me too. But I'm sure they'll be alright," Sora said.
"At least they know that not all humans are like those guys," Ash said.
"I agree. We should get going if excitement is going to come our way again," Tracey said.
"You've read my mind, Tracey. Let's go," Sora said.
Sora, Kairi, Ash, Leaf, Tracey, Pikachu, Angel, Togepi, and the Pichu continued on their way towards Blackthorn City, but the meeting of two legendary Pokémon from another region was an experience they won't forget. And they may see these magnificent Pokémon again, but only time knows when.
Before I close this chapter, I thought I should share that I was originally going to write a chapter about Sora and his friends bumping into a vampire and it would feature vampire-themed Heartless, but I scratched that idea. Also, I plan on doing a fic on Pokémon Heroes, too, so they're going to be meeting another Latios and Latias, also Annie and Oakley will also have some Heartless under their control as well as an Espeon, Ariados, Aerodactyl, and Kabutops, but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it. Anyway, more will be coming soon, so stay tuned.
