Episode 195: Sight Sharing
We open to Alto Mare on a sunny afternoon, and we see Sora, Kairi, Riku, Ash, Leaf, Ethan, Kris, Lyra, and several other Trainers taking part of the annual Tour de Alto Mare, a chariot race that is exclusive to Water-type Pokémon. Sora has chosen Azumarill as Kairi has chosen Corsola. One of the Trainers has chosen a Wailmer to race and also Trainers that has a Starmie, a Quagsire, a Qwilfish, a Seadra, a Magikarp, a Wartortle, a Mantine, a Chinchou, a Lanturn, a Vaporeon, and a Tentacool. Kris has entered Wani-Wani in the race. Ash has entered a Kingdra, Leaf has entered her Dewgong, Ethan has entered a Remoraid, Lyra has entered her Marill, and Riku has entered a Poliwrath. Tracey, Naminé, Pikachu, Angel, Eevee, Togepi, Azurill, and the Pichu were watching from a bridge. Naminé is holding Azurill in her arms. The announcer took the microphone and spoke into it.
"Testing, testing. Ladies and gentlemen, it's a beautiful day for Alto Mare's annual Water Chariot Festival, and it looks like we've got a record turn out! Are you ready for the main event?!" The announcer exclaimed.
"You know we are. This is so exciting!" Naminé said.
"I guess we're going have to wish them all good luck while they're racing," Tracey said.
"You're right. Riku would want that very much," Naminé said.
"Sora, just because we're a couple doesn't mean I'm going to go easy on you," Kairi said.
"I wouldn't want you to, Kairi. I'm ready for a good race from you," Sora said.
"Trainers, when you hear the Xatu, that'll be your cue!" The announcer announced as the Natu sounds off. Then finally, Xatu sounds off.
"And here we go!" Sora shouted.
And in moments, the race is on as the crowd roars. Sora, Riku, and Kairi are seen neck and neck with another a Trainer with a Wailmer while Ash and Ethan are neck and neck right behind them. Leaf, Kris, and Lyra zooms past some of the other racers. During the race, two invisible creatures watch from nearby. The racers soon zoom past Team Rocket, who are chowing down on spaghetti alfresco before Sora takes a turn too sharply, but is soon saved from hitting a wall by one of the invisible creatures before falling into the water. Sora is soon back in the race, but gets some unexpected help from one of the invisible creatures before bells are heard across the town of Alto Mare.
"And it looks like the leaders are approaching their final turn and heading for the home stretch! It's no surprise that last year's champion, Ross, and his Wailmer are in the lead. But newcomer, Kairi, and her Corsola are not gonna make it easy for him. These two are neck and neck, folks!" The announcer announced. The crowd cheers on the two racers. Suddenly Azumarill is seen running on water, unaware of the invisible creature. "Wait a minute, it looks like Sora and his Azumarill were just shot out of a cannon!"
"What's gotten into you, Azumarill? Even Totodile wasn't full of this kind of energy!" Sora said. Sora managed to make it past Kairi and Ross in the race.
"And Sora has taken the lead coming into the homestretch!" The announcer announced. Suddenly, the second of the two invisible creatures causes Sora to take a wrong turn while the other racers zoom on down the homestretch. "Oh! Wrong turn, Sora! And that's gonna cost him!
"Hey, where are you going? We were supposed to head for the finish line!" Sora said.
The two creatures let Azumarill go as it, Sora wind up going over a wall and into the water on the other side while the race continues on.
"As we approach the finish line, it's Ross by a length, but here comes Kairi! And it's a dead heat, folks! It's gonna be too close to call!" The announcer announced. Ross, and Kairi cross the finish line. "A photo finish! Let's go to the video recording!" As the announcer talks, Kairi falls off her chariot and into the water before the video replay is shown. "This is awfully close, folks. And it looks like Corsola inched ahead just enough to win it!" As the announcer talks, it's shown that Corsola did win the race by the tip of her horns. "Judges? Yes! Kairi is the winner!"
"Great job, Corsola!" Kairi cheered.
"Corsola, Corsola!" Corsola said.
"Great race, Kairi. How about I show you around Alto Mare?" Ross offered.
"That'll be great," Kairi said.
"What a race," Ash said.
"Great job, Kairi," Riku said.
"Thanks, Riku," Kairi said.
"But what happened to Sora? Last time I checked, he was way ahead of us," Ethan said.
Speaking of which, Sora tries to figure out what went wrong.
"There's nothing wrong with the chariot," Sora said.
"Azumarill," Azumarill sadly said.
"Don't be sorry, Azumarill. It wasn't your fault. I guess these sort of things can happen when we least expect it," Sora said.
Not too long, Riku finds Sora and Azumarill.
"What's up, Sora? You kinda took a wrong turn," Riku said.
"Yeah, I wasn't sure what happened. I never saw Azumarill like this before. Anyway, who won?" Sora asked.
"It was Kairi who won it. Why don't you congratulate her?" Riku asked.
"Not a bad idea, Riku," Sora agreed.
The invisible creatures took their leave, leaving Sora and Riku. It turns out to be a Latios and a Latias.
Sora and Riku met up with the rest of the group after the events of the water chariot race has ended.
"Glad you made it in one piece, Sora; especially that one turn you took," Leaf teased.
"Yeah, it was an unexpected detour," Sora said, chuckling. He took a glance at his girlfriend and smiled when he noticed the prize around her neck. "Congratulations on your victory, Kairi. You deserved to win it."
"Thank you, Sora. You're sweet," Kairi said.
"Well, if I had won, I would have given you that, just to show you I care," Sora said. Kairi was lucky to have a considerate boyfriend.
"Oh, Sora," Kairi said lovingly. She gave her boyfriend a kiss on the cheek. A few moments later, Ross took the couple, Pikachu, Angel, Togepi, and the Pichu on a tour of the canals of Alto Mare. "Thanks a lot for taking us on this tour, Ross."
"Don't mention it, Kairi. After all, you're a great racer and nothing's too good for the recipient of the first place glass medallion. Also, you two make a good couple despite that race you were in," Ross said. Sora and Kairi blushed. The couple looked around in the city.
"The buildings are very beautiful," Kairi said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"Toge, Toge," Togepi chirped.
"Thanks a lot for taking us on this tour, Ross," Kairi said.
"Don't mention it, Kairi. You make a great couple, so I thought I'd treat you to a romantic setting," Ross said. Sora and Kairi blushed. Kairi soon looks her winner's medallion. "Pretty cool, huh? Check out all the symbols on there. They tell the story of our town. Do you like it, Kairi?"
"Yeah. It's really nice. They sorta look like Pokémon," Kairi said as she spots something off in the distance. "Hey, there they are again! On top of those pillars!"
Sora else looks, too.
"Are those what I think they are?" Sora asked.
"Oh, yeah. Those are known as the Guardians of Alto Mare. That's Latios on the left, and Latias on the right," Ross explained.
"Latios and Latias?" Kairi asked.
"As in the Eon Pokémon?" Sora asked.
"That's right. Legend has it that they watch over our town and protect us in case of danger," Ross said. Sora and Kairi remembered meeting Latios and Latias before and saved them from a pair of Pokémon Hunters.
"Has anyone ever seen Latios or Latias around here?" Sora asked.
"Pika," Pikachu said.
"No, not really. I guess we never see them because things were always so peaceful around here, we haven't really needed their protection," Ross said.
Meanwhile, Ash, Leaf, Ethan, Kris, Lyra, and Marill were looking for clues to get to the realm of darkness and rescue Cascade. But they found nothing.
"Anything?" Ash asked.
"No. Nothing," Ethan said.
"Me neither," Lyra said.
"Marill," Marill said.
"Me neither," Kris said.
"Same here. No clue to get to the realm of darkness," Leaf said. Ash groaned in frustration, knowing it would have been too easy.
"So much for one being in Alto Mare. I could have had a clue to rescue Cascade," Ash said.
"I'm sure she'll understand you're doing your best, Ash," Kris said. Ash knew Kris was trying to make him feel better. But that did little to lift his spirits.
Meanwhile, Riku, Naminé, Eevee, and Azurill were wondering the city, checking out the sights while being pulled by his Poliwrath by his chariot.
Over to Team Rocket, they were still hungry, so an ice cream vendor spots them.
"Hey there, you three," the ice cream vendor said. They turned to see him. "Yes, you. And you're right on time for quite a treat." Team Rocket walked over to the ice cream vendor with puzzling expressions.
"What could you possibly have for us?" Jessie asked.
"I'm glad you asked, pretty lady. I just happen to have a treat that is said to come from the far away region of Unova," the ice cream vendor said, preparing an ice cream cone for each one of them. "The Casteliacone."
"The Casteliacone?" Jessie and Meowth asked.
"I've heard of this. It's a very popular treat in the Unova region. It is said this particular ice cream is made from the ice that comes from a Vanillite, a Vanillish, or a Vaniluxe," James said.
"Why are they called Casteliacones anyway?" Meowth asked.
"Because they were invited in Castelia City, that's how," James said.
"Exactly right. It's probably not the exact ice made from those particular Pokémon since none of those can be found in the Johto region unfortunately. But it should still be just as delicious," the ice cream vendor said. "Try one." Jessie took the cone and she tasted it. Her face lit up like it was Christmas.
"I think I just got a taste of heaven!" Jessie said. James and Meowth each got a taste, too. They eyes bulged out like they were in a cartoon.
"It's like a winter wonderland in my mouth!" James said with a smile.
"My taste buds are blasting off and it's a good thing!" Meowth said.
"Glad you enjoyed them. Here's some more if you like," the ice cream vendor said, presenting Team Rocket some more Casteliacones.
"We'll take them!" Team Rocket said happily. They paid with what money they had and went off to eat them with pleasure.
"Sora isn't the only one who knows how to show his girl a good time," Riku said.
"Eevee," Eevee said.
"This was a great idea, Riku. It's very romantic," Naminé said. Riku then puts his arm around her shoulder and he lovingly holds her.
"Anything for you, Naminé," Riku said. He and Naminé kissed each other on the lips.
Elsewhere in town, a little robot is seen scanning a plaza with Oakley and Annie watching from their boat. They both wore casual clothes.
Annie wore an orange strapless top, a black long skirt, and black heels.
Oakley wore a red shirt with black pants, and white sandals.
"If these Latios and Latias are supposed to be guarding the town, how come we haven't seen them yet?" Annie asked.
"Well, it's not that simple. The book says they can take on a completely different shape, even human beings if they want to," Oakley said.
"That's pretty cool," Annie said with awe.
"Yes, it is. But they're still Pokémon, so this scanner will find them," Oakley said. She picks up something on her computer. "They have lower body temperatures than human beings." She zooms in and finds one of them. "Bingo. Well, that's one of them. Let's go pay our new friend a visit, shall we?"
The two start up their speedboat and set off to catch the Pokémon. They were unaware of Jessie, James, and Meowth by the side as they arrived to eat the Casteliacones they purchased.
"We all scream for ice cream!" Team Rocket sang.
As Team Rocket is about to eat their ice cream, Oakley and her partner speed by, ruining the cones.
"What the hell was that?" Jessie asked. She saw the Team Rocket logos on their belts. "Wait, are those two with Team Rocket?" James squealed as he recognized them.
"They didn't spot us, did they?" James asked.
"Who are they?" Jessie asked.
"Don't tell me you never heard of Annie and Oakley!" James said.
"Annie and Oakley?" Meowth asked.
"They're top spies for the boss! This could be just the chance we've been waiting for! Top agents like them should get us back on good terms with the boss!" James said.
"That is a brilliant plan! They're obviously up to no good," Jessie said.
"Yeah! And that could be good for us!" Meowth said.
"Besides, they owe me a Casteliacone," Jessie said.
"Wobbuffet!" Wobbuffet said, popping out again. Jessie promptly calls Wobbuffet back inside.
Back to Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, Angel, Togepi, and the Pichu, Ross has dropped the couple off to the restaurant section of the city.
"That place over there has great seafood. And if you're still hungry, there's an ice cream place around the corner," Ross said.
"We'll give it a try and thank you," Kairi said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"Anytime. And enjoy your stay," Ross said, taking his leave.
"Ciao," Sora and Kairi both said to him.
"What do you say, Kairi? Wanna try the ice cream?" Sora asked.
"I'm game," Kairi said.
Pikachu, Angel, and the Pichu follows from behind, but Pikachu gets distracted. The Pichu stopped and looked at what Pikachu was looking at. Angel sees Pikachu standing there and looking at something. She heads for Pikachu and saw a Vaporeon drinking water from the fountain.
"Okay. Come on, Vaporeon," the woman said. Pikachu, Angel, and the Pichu comes in just after the Vaporeon and its trainer leave, but is too late, until a girl gives him a drink. The girl is a tall fair-skinned, short-haired girl. Her hair is reddish-brown. She wore a short green shirt with a white skirt, as well as black socks and pink shoes.
"Pika," Pikachu said.
"Vee," Angel said.
"Pichu!" The Pichu said.
The Pokémon were taking a drink from the fountain, but it wasn't long for Sora, Kairi, and Togepi to notice they were gone.
"Pikachu, Angel, Pichu, there you are," Kairi said.
"Don't you want some ice cream?" Sora asked. The girl soon looks directly at and circles Sora before running off. Sora was a tad dumbfounded by what was that about. Kairi was a tad jealous that some of the girls openly flirts with her boyfriend. While Pikachu, Angel, and the Pichu washes themselves off with the running water. "Ooookay." The girl is soon caught in the sights of Annie and Oakley.
She's taken on the form of a girl, so that must be Latias.
"Is she kidding with that hairstyle?" Annie scoffed as she puts on some sunglasses that reveal the girl really is Latias. "Amazing! She really is a Pokémon." The two pull up close to her. "Excuse me. I love that shirt, where'd you get it?" Annie asked as she took out a black Pokéball with her symbol. "I just wanna know, Latias." Latias stops, worried, and then runs off. Annie threw her Pokéball. "Espeon!"
Oakley gets out an orange Pokéball with her symbol and threw it.
"Ariados!" Oakley called out.
An Espeon and an Ariados both came out and started to pursue Latias. Pikachu and Angel quickly senses what's going on and runs off.
"Pikachu, what's wrong?" Sora asked.
"Where are you going, Angel! Come back!" Kairi called out. Sora turns off the fountain and joins in the pursuit.
Latias runs towards a small bridge, so Ariados soon blocks Latias' path one way, while Espeon blocks the other and uses Psychic to immobilize her while Ariados fires a String Shot to keep her from running.
"Why did you run away? We just wanted to tell you something about the shirt you're wearing," Annie said.
"It's last year's color," Oakley added.
"Hey!" Sora called out.
Annie and Oakley see Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, Angel, Togepi, and the Pichu run up.
"What do you think you're doing?!" Kairi asked as Sora proceeds to rip the webs off of Latias.
"We're just trying to prevent a fashion disaster," Annie said.
"Well, that's a funny way to do it," Sora said.
"Yeah, who died and made you two the fashion police?" Kairi asked.
"Oh? Would you like to give her some tips instead?" Oakley teased.
"Yes, please do," Annie said.
"I've got a tip for you: get lost and leave her alone!" Sora said.
"Kachu!" Pikachu added.
"And stay away from her!" Kairi said.
"Eevee!" Angel said.
"Toge!" Togepi chirped.
"Pichu!" The Shiny Pichu said.
"Pichu!" The Spiky-eared Pichu said.
"Oh, I didn't know she had bodyguards! You're not going to hurt us, are you?" Annie asked, pretending to be scared.
"Whatever would we do if he attacked us, Annie?" Oakley asked, also pretending to be scared.
"Espeon, show Oakley what we would do," Annie said.
Espeon fires a Psybeam at Sora, hitting him.
"Sora!" Kairi gasped. She angrily glared at the sisters. "You're going to regret doing that!" Kairi said, taking out a Pokéball and opened it. "Go! Quilava!" Her Quilava came out. "Use Flamethrower!" Quilava fires Flamethrower at Espeon, but it jumps out of the way and lands right in the boat.
"Pikachu! Use Thunderbolt!" Sora ordered. Pikachu fired Thunderbolt, shocking Annie, Oakley, and Espeon. Annie fell in the water. "Let's get out of here!" Kairi takes Latias by the hand.
"Come this way, miss!" Kairi said.
Eevee fires Swift at Ariados, hitting it hard. Annie climbs out of the water, completely soaked.
"This was a very expensive outfit, and now it's completely ruined! Espeon, go after them, now!" Annie ordered.
"You too, Ariados! Capture them!" Oakley ordered.
Espeon and Ariados started to chase after them through the city. Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, Angel, Togepi, the Pichu, and Latias ran through the alleys, avoiding their pursuers. Ariados and Espeon managed to lose sight of them.
"Where are we now?" Sora asked.
They soon find that they were taken right back where Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, Angel, Togepi, and the Pichu first saw Latias. Riku, Naminé, Ash, Leaf, Ethan, Kris, Lyra, Tracey, and Marill were in the same area.
"There you are! We were about to go looking you!" Tracey said.
"Hey, did you try the ice cream yet? It tastes great!" Ethan said.
"We're back where we started," Kairi said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"Yeah," Sora said. "Anyway, why were those girls after-" Sora turned to see Latias gone. "-you?" Kairi and Angel saw she was gone as well.
"Where did she go?" Kairi asked.
"I don't know, but who is she?" Sora asked.
"Pika, Pika?" Pikachu asked.
"Eevee?" Angel asked.
A little while later, the couple joined up with their friends and started to head for the museum. They were awestruck by the magnificent sight.
"Look at that," Namine said.
"Azu, Azu!" Azurill chirped.
"It looks more like a palace than a museum," Kris said.
As the group admire the museum, Annie and Oakley spot them via their robot.
"Well, I found those kids and those Pokémon," Oakley said.
"Oh?" Annie asked as she was blow drying her hair.
"But it doesn't look like they're hanging out with Latias anymore. We need to keep it that way," Oakley said.
Back at the museum, group stepped in and they saw what's on the floor. They're fossilized skeletal remains of an Aerodactyl and a Kabutops.
"Aren't these fossils of Pokémon?" Riku asked.
"You might say that. It's also a reminder of our past. These fossils are of Pokémon that once terrorized Alto Mare," the museum's curator said. The curator is an elderly man with a white beard. He is wearing a red shirt and blue overalls. He is bald-headed and wore gray boots.
"So the Pokémon that terrorized Alto Mare were both prehistoric Pokémon, an Aerodactyl and a Kabutops," Lyra said.
"That's right. Come have a look over here," the curator led the group to a chamber where a machine is standing right before them. "This is called the DMA. The Defense Mechanism of Alto Mare."
"Wow, this is amazing. If Sophocles were here, he'd have a field day with this thing," Riku commented.
"Long ago, the Aerodactyl and Kabutops were taught by an evil Trainer to attack people. So everyone lived in fear until Latios and Latias came and brought water to the town, drowning the evil Pokémon and turning our streets into canals. That's when the town was named Alto Mare, which means High Sea. That's also when they built the DMA. They wanted to make sure that no one would ever disrupt their peace again. Fortunately, they never had to use it," the curator explained. As the curator speaks, Sora elbows Kairi's arm and he points up to a familiar face. Kairi spotted her. It was the girl from before, or at least they thought it was, so she wore a white artist's hat.
"It's her. It's the girl from before," Sora whispered.
"We gotta talk to her," Kairi whispered back.
"Is something the matter?" The curator asked.
"Uh, everything's fine. And it's very interesting," Sora said.
"Yeah, very interesting," Kairi said.
"Thanks for the tour, sir. And we'll see you guys later," Sora said as he, Kairi, Pikachu, Angel, Togepi, and the Pichu took off, leaving the rest very confused. They did wonder what happened and if the Heartless or Organization XIII might have something to do with it.
"Okay, those two are acting weird," Riku said.
"Eevee," Eevee agreed.
"You think something might be up?" Leaf asked.
"Why not let us in on it?" Lyra asked.
"Marill," Marill agreed.
The couple and their Pokémon stepped outside the museum and looked around for the girl.
They look around to find Latias.
"Which way did she go?" Sora asked. Kairi then spots her.
"There she is!" Kairi said.
"Now's our chance. Come on," Sora said. Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, Angel, Togepi, the Pichu started to follow her. "Hey! Wait up!"
Unbeknownst to either of them, Annie and Oakley are watching them. They almost bump into a woman walking their way.
"Oh! Careful," the woman said.
"Excuse us," Kairi said.
"Sorry," Sora apologized. They continued to follow her when they come to a stop when they think they finally find her. "Hey!" The girl looked at them. "Why'd you disappear like that before?"
"I don't know you," the girl said, taking off. This left Sora and Kairi very confused.
"You don't know us? What's that about?" Sora asked.
"This is very weird," Kairi said.
"Pika, Pikachu," Pikachu said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, Angel, Togepi, and the Pichu continued to follow her, but quickly find themselves in a four way split.
"Which way now?" Sora asked.
"Let's go that way," Kairi said, pointing ahead of them.
"Right," Sora said as they go where they were pointing. They head down the alley, but nothing. "Lost her."
"This is getting ridiculous. If we keep chasing after this girl, then we're going to end up getting lost until we're old," Kairi said.
"Don't you think it's weird that she acted like she never saw us before since we only met her since those girls showed up?" Sora asked.
"I don't know if it was because she was shaken up, or that she was playing a practical joke on us. And I'll say it was highly inappropriate of her," Kairi said. The Pichu spotted Latias.
"Pichu!" Both Pichu said, pointing to Latias. They all turned to see Latias, thinking it was her.
"Okay, what's was that about?" Sora asked. Latias motions for them to follow her, so they do. "Slow down, will you?!" Latias leads the couple to what looks like a beautiful location before going through a wall. "Did she just go through the wall?!"
"I think she just did," Kairi said.
Pikachu, Angel, and the Pichu went right through the wall.
"Hey, wait!" Sora said.
"We got no choice but to follow them in," Kairi said. With that said, the couple started to follow their partners through the wall. They were awestruck by what they saw. The two soon find themselves in a garden inhabited by Oddish, Poliwag, Yanma, Butterfree, and Wooper. "Such a pretty garden."
They soon find Latias and follow her.
"Hey!" Sora called out.
They soon find Latias swinging on a swing, but before they can approach, they're stopped by some strange objects spinning around before the second invisible creature, likely Latios, darts in and past before dashing straight at Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, Angel, Togepi, and the Pichu.
"There's something coming!" Kairi exclaimed.
"A Heartless!" Sora gasped.
"Or it's a Nobody!" Kairi said.
"Whatever it is, we gotta get it before it gets us!" Sora said. He turned to Pikachu. "Try hitting it with a Thunderbolt!" Pikachu fired a Thunderbolt, but the invisible Pokémon dodges and nails Pikachu.
"Eevee!" Angel gasped.
"Pika!" Sora also gasped. He picked Pikachu up. "You okay, buddy?"
"Pika, Pi!" Pikachu said.
Latios comes back in to take them out, but Latias stands in his way, forcing Latios to reveal himself. Sora and Kairi can hardly believe their eyes.
"Latios," Kairi said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
Latios angrily squeaks, demanding Latias to move, but she refuses by shaking her head.
"What's he so mad about?" Kairi asked.
"You've got me," Sora said, shrugging his shoulders.
"What's going on here? What are you doing to Latios?" The girl asked. Sora and Kairi are perplexed at looking at the same person in two different spots. "Well?"
"Hold on a second! We weren't doing anything! Really! We just followed this girl here!" Sora said, gesturing to Latias.
"It's true. Latios just attacked us for no reason," Kairi said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"Toge, Toge," Togepi chirped.
"Pichu," both Pichu said.
"You wouldn't happen to be Pokémon Trainers, by any chance?" The girl asked.
"Yeah, but we're not going to catch any Pokémon here!" Sora said.
"And I'm going to make sure you don't. Latios, use Luster Purge!" The girl ordered.
Latios prepares to attack Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, Angel, Togepi, and the Pichu again until a voice spoke up.
"That's enough!" A familiar voice called out. Latios quickly stops when the museum's curator shows up. "Bianca! Latios! I'm sure these two means no harm."
"Grandpa, they were-" Bianca spoke up.
"I know you! You're the curator!" Sora said.
"But, they..." Bianca said.
"Shh," the curator shushed her. She knew better than to argue with him. "It's okay. Latias, do you want to play with your new friends?" Latias nods. The couple were very confused.
"Latias?" Sora asked as Latias started to pull Sora by the hand. "Hey!" She kept pulling him towards the swing. As soon as Sora sat down, the both of them started swinging. "Don't take this the wrong way, but, Latias is the name of a Pokémon the last time I've checked." Latias soon morphs into her true form, causing Sora to fall off the swing in surprise. "Oh, okay." Latios picks up Sora, helping him up out of concern. "Thanks, I'm okay. Thanks a lot." Latias happily flies around Sora.
"She must've really taken a liking to this young man," the curator said.
"You can say that. I feel really silly now, because I got jealous of a Pokémon," Kairi said, almost laughing.
Latios then approaches and talks with Pikachu and Angel, apologizing for earlier before the Pokémon couple, Togepi, and the Pichu starts playing with both Latios and Latias while Sora and Kairi gets acquainted with Bianca and her grandpa.
"I'm Bianca, sorry I almost attacked you before. And that's my grandpa, Lorenzo," Bianca introduced.
"That's okay, Bianca. My name's Sora," Sora introduced.
"And my name's Kairi. We do have a few questions, though," Kairi said.
"I suppose you're wondering why Latias looked exactly like Bianca," Lorenzo stated.
"That's one of the questions anyway," Sora said.
"That's one of her powers. She can take on the shape of a human. And since we're best friends, she turns into me a lot," Bianca explained.
"Oh, that explains why you said you didn't know us. I guess I got mad over nothing," Sora said, feeling embarrassed.
"At least we know the truth now," Kairi said.
Pikachu and Angel then hops off of Latias and onto Sora and Kairi's shoulders before she takes ruffles his hair. Sora laughed.
"Hey, it took me a while to get this hairstyle the way I wanted it," Sora said, laughing.
Soon, Latios' eyes start glowing, and Latias' eyes do the same before Latios dives into the fountain and swims through a tunnel while Latias use her powers to bring the others along.
"How is this happening?" Kairi asked.
"Don't be afraid, Kairi. Latias has the power to to project what Latios is seeing," Bianca said.
"Sight sharing," Lorenzo said.
"Sight sharing?" Sora and Kairi asked.
"This is a rare privilege, to see through the eyes of Latios," Lorenzo said.
"I guess Latios thinks he can really trust you and your Pokémon, Sora and Kairi," Bianca said.
They follow Latios past several Water-type Pokémon.
"Latias, this is amazing. Tell Latios we say thanks, okay?" Kairi asked.
"Wow. I wish Riku and the others were here to see this," Sora said in his thoughts.
