Episode 199: Here's Looking At You, Elekid
Just about a day came and went since Sora has met Darla and lost. He continued on with his training, but he, Kairi, Pikachu, Angel, Togepi, and the Pichu were heading to Professor Elm's lab. Before that, Sora exchanged Kleavor, Gengar, Gliscor, Magmotar, Yanmega, Lickilicki, Rhyperior, Butterfree, Muk, Tauros, and Kingler for Meganium, Typhlosion, Feraligatr, Tyranitar, Noctowl, Gyarados, Donphan, Wyrdeer, Mamoswine, Quagsire, and Sudowoodo to start training.
Kairi, Angel, Togepi, and the Pichu saw Riku, Naminé, Tracey, Ash, Leaf, Ethan, Kris, Lyra, Eevee, Azurill, and Marill at the entrance of Professor Elm's lab.
"Sora, Kairi, good of you to show up," Ethan said.
"Hey, guys. Professor Elm called you, too?" Sora asked.
"Yeah. He wanted all of us to come on over for some reason," Lyra said.
"Did he say why?" Kairi asked.
"He said there was an important visitor coming today. And he's bringing three guests with him," Kris said.
"Important visitor?" Sora and Kairi both asked in unison.
"Yeah, that's what he said," Ethan said.
"But I have a good idea who this visitor is," Ash said.
"So I figured the visitor might have been here aready, so that's probably it," Riku said.
"We should head on in and see who it is," Naminé suggested.
"She's right. It would be considered to be rude to standing at his doorstep, talking," Leaf said.
"Okay, let's head inside," Sora said.
"Right," Tracey said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
"Hold it!" A familiar voice shouted. Everyone turned around and saw Vincent running up to the group. It was really good to see Vincent again since the whole Raikou and Miracle Crystal incident. "I thought this was the place where the party was taking place! And nobody bothered to invite me? How inconsiderate of you!"
"Hold it, Vincent! We thought you weren't home yet. Lyra, Kris, and I were at your house and your dad told us you weren't in," Ethan said.
"Did Professor Elm call you over, too?" Kris asked.
"Come to think of it, he did. And that's why I came rushing over! And I assumed you were here as well, and it might have been a party or something," Vincent said.
"Well, I don't think it is. The professor's probably waiting for us to come in," Tracey said.
"You can join us if you like," Kairi said.
"I think I will," Vincent said.
WIth that said, Sora, Kairi, Riku, Naminé, Ash, Leaf, Ethan, Kris, Lyra, Tracey, Vincent, and the Pokémon went inside the lab and they spotted Professor Elm waiting for them to come in. With him is Professor Oak.
"Hello, everyone," Professor Oak greeted.
"Professor Oak?" Leaf asked.
"I had a feeling it was you, professor," Sora said.
"It's so good to see you again, professor," Kairi said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"Toge, Toge," Togepi chirped.
"I feel the same way, Kairi," Professor Oak said with a smile.
"Um, Professor Elm, you said there were three guests with you as well, didn't you?" Riku pointed out.
"I did. They're probably with the starter Pokemon as we speak," Professor Oak said.
"Wait, you don't mean..." Sora paused when he saw Ventus, Terra, Aqua, and the three Pikachu. Ventus is seen holding a Cyndaquil in his arms.
"Hey, Sora," Ventus happily greeted.
"Pikachu," Sparky said.
"Quil," Cyndaquil squeaked.
"Ven! I had a feeling it was you one of the visitors. The same for you Terra, Aqua," Sora said.
"It's been a while, Sora," Terra said.
"Just why did you come here?" Kairi asked.
"I think I can explain. I dropped by Porta Vista and spoke with your aunt and uncle and asked them if I could invite Ventus and his two friends with me to the Johto region, knowing that you had already arrived to New Bark Town by the time I arrived, so they had no objections as long as Terra and Aqua were present. And your three friends, Max, Zoe, and Rex have requested that I told you that they said hello," Professor Oak said. Sora and Kairi smiled, knowing Max and Zoe were doing okay. Ash looked at Aqua akwardly and he couldn't get over how almost similar she looked like Cascade. Aqua then looked at Ash with quite a look.
"What's wrong, Ash? You look like you're seeing a ghost," Aqua said.
"That's one way to look at it," Ash said.
"Anyway, Professor Elm, you mind telling us why we're all here?" Sora asked.
"Actually, Professor Oak was the one who requested that you come here," Professor Elm said.
"I realize that you're training for the upcoming Johto Pokémon League, but I thought I would like to share that your progress has truly amazed me. All of you have done such amazing things, and I would have to say that you do not need a Keyblade to do any of that. I am proud of all of you," Professor Oak said. "But I haven't just come to give you my praise."
"Then what, professor?" Kairi asked.
"I have to inform you that Team Rocket's reputation has taken a bad hit since your last encounter with them in Goldenrod City. Their numbers have been dwindling down as some of the captured members are claiming that they're no longer members," Professor Oak said.
"No longer members?" Leaf asked.
"Sounds like Giovanni isn't standing for it any longer," Ash said.
"Indeed not. I can only assume that Giovanni is clamping down on his forces if he's just firing them and allowing them to rot in prison," Professor Oak said.
"Man, even Organization XIII is more organized than Team Rocket ever were," Sora said.
"That means Team Rocket could end up destroying themselves if this keeps up," Lyra said.
"Marill," Marill said.
"Maybe Jessie, James, and Meowth might have gotten the message," Kairi said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
Everyone thought for a moment.
"Nah," everyone all said.
Speaking of which, Team Rocket were still outside of New Bark Town, so they began thinking and thinking.
"Guys, I've been thinking," Jessie said.
"Thinking about what, Jessie?" James asked.
"Well, I've been thinking hard about our losing streak lately. Things have been going downhill for us ever since we got started on our quest to capture Pikachu, but we always end up losing, so I think I know why," Jessie said.
"You know why, Jessie?" Meowth asked.
"Okay, why is that, Jessie?" James asked.
"Okay, the twerps have more Pokémon than any one of us," Jessie pointed out.
"Yeah, but what does that have to do with anything?" Meowth asked.
"Everything. Think about it. They have just about more Pokémon than we do. And if this keeps up, they'll have more than enough Pokémon to fill up Noah's ark. Ever since I accidentally traded Lickitung for Wobbuffet, the only Pokémon I can rely on in battle was Arbok, but even Arbok won't be able to cut it," Jessie said.
"So what does that have to do with us?" Meowth asked.
"Everything. So I propose that we each catch ourselves a new Pokémon and use them against the twerps. Not just any Pokémon, but Pokémon that have what it takes to be proud members of Team Rocket!" Jessie said.
"Ooh, I think I know where you're going with this," James said.
"I could use a Pokémon for myself!" Meowth said, smiling. James just looked at the Scratch Cat Pokémon with a deadpan expression.
"Meowth, it's very obvious that you're a Pokémon, too," James said.
"Oh, yeah, I keep forgetting that fact," Meowth said.
"Okay, we'll split up and find a Pokémon to catch! And make sure it's Team Rocket worthy," Jessie said.
"Right," James and Meowth said as they took off. They began to search hard for a Pokémon they each can use against Sora and Kairi.
Jessie and Meowth looked around for any Pokémon that would be a good fit for them to use.
"Let's see," Jessie said. She spots a a group of Hoppip and Skiploom. "Those Hoppip and Skiploom look pretty cute, but they're too cute. Not enough."
"Yeah, those Pokémon couldn't make my fur stand up," Meowth said.
"Let's keep looking," Jessie said. And they do keep looking right until they found a rather large Lickitung. "Hm, that Lickitung looks strong enough. And it'll make up for the one that I lost in that trade."
"Let's hope that Lickitung will give the twerps a proper licking," Meowth said. Wobbuffet pops out.
"Wobbuffet," Wobbuffet said. Meowth yelped.
"We seriously need to put a bell on you," Meowth said.
"This is perfect. Lickitung will attempt to lick Wobbuffet, and then use his Counter to send its own attack right back," Jessie said.
"Okay, Wobbuffet, get cracking," Meowth said.
"Wobbuffet," Wobbuffet said, stepping in. The Lickitung saw the Patient Pokémon just waddle right in. "Wobbuffet."
"Luckitung," the Lickitung hissed. The Lickitung extends its tongue in an attempt to lick Wobbuffet.
"Wobbuffet! Counter!" Jessie ordered. Wobbuffet uses Counter and he sends the tongue back and beans itself in the forehead. Jessie took out a Pokéball and it struck the Licking Pokémon. It flows inside and it wobbles around and around. Stars swirls around the Pokéball to confirm the catch. "Yes! I got myself a new Lickitung! For once, you did something right, Wobbuffet!"
"Wobbuffet!" Wobbuffet said.
Over to James, he spotted a wild Weepinbell hanging by a tree branch.
"Ooh, a Weepinbell. Jessie to catch a new Pokémon, but she didn't say what kind to get. On the plus side, it'll be cool to have an evolution set," James said. He took out a Pokéball and threw it at the Fly Catcher Pokémon. Weepinbell flows inside and the Pokéball wobbled around and around. Stars swirls around the Pokéball to confirm the catch. "And I have a new Weepinbell! Let's hope Jessie's found a promising one."
Over to Jessie, Meowth, and Wobbuffet, they spotted a Yanmega. Jessie grinned wickedly.
"A Yanmega. Such so big, so strong, so intimidating, so beautiful! I must have that Pokémon!" Jessie said.
"Well, you gotta catch it!" Meowth said.
"That's the plan," Jessie said, taking out a Pokéball and threw it. Yanmega flows inside and the Pokéball wobbles around and around. Stars swirls around the Pokéball to confirm the catch. "And I have myself a Yanmega. I hope it's much stronger than the one the twerp has."
Over to James, he spots a Bellsprout, so James threw a Pokéball and the wild Bellsprout flows inside. Stars swirls around the Pokéball to confirm the catch.
"Bellsprout, Weepinbell, and Victreebel! I have the complete set!" James said.
A little later, Team Rocket meet up with each other to show each other what they caught.
"Anything promising?" Jessie asked.
"I was gonna ask you that," James said. They each took out the Pokéballs of their latest catches.
"One, two, three," Jessie and James counted as they threw their Pokéballs up in the air and their newest Pokémon came right out. Jessie just gave a deadpanned expression.
"You're kidding right?" Jessie deadpanned.
"Well, I since I have myself a Victreebel, so I thought it'd be a good idea to have a Bellsprout and a Weepinbell to go along with him. Cool, huh?" James asked.
"You realized your last Weepinbell evolved into a Victreebel before, right?" Jessie pointed out.
"Yeah. Evolution lines are all the rage nowadays!" James said.
"At least Jessie put some effort in it!" Meowth said, pointing to the Lickitung and Yanmega.
"You caught another Lickitung?" James asked.
"Hey, don't judge. We agreed that I couldn't rely on Arbok forever, right?" Jessie asked, reminding her colleague.
"If you say so," James said.
"But at least we got some new Pokémon all the same. We can use them on the twerps when we see them. We could track them down if our Pikachu tracker wasn't in a million pieces though," Meowth said.
"We're gonna have to come up with a new one, then," Jessie said.
Back to Professor Elm's lab, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Sparky, Thor, and Eclair joined up with the group as they talked.
"Ethan, Lyra, Kris, Vincent, I don't think you were properly introduced. This is my kid cousin, Ventus, but we call him Ven. The girl with the blue hair is Aqua, and the tall guy is Terra. Ven, Terra, Aqua, meet Ethan, Kris, Lyra, and Vincent," Sora introduced.
"Nice to meet you," Lyra said.
"When I first saw him, I thought he was a little brother you never told us about," Vincent said, looking at Ventus. He then blinked twice. Vincent said in his thoughts, "Wait, he looks like a kid version of Roxas."
"So you're training for the Johto Pokémon League, aren't you, Sora?" Ventus asked.
"You know it, kiddo," Sora said, ruffling his hair. Ventus chuckled.
Sora and Pikachu were going back to their training with Kairi, Angel, Togepi, Sparky, and the Pichu watching when they suddenly heard a sound.
"Wooper!" A voice spoke. They saw a Wooper, but it has a brown coloration, with two pairs of bone-shaped gills branching from its head, as well as an eight-pronged pattern on its stomach. "Wooper."
"What is that?" Ventus asked.
"It looks like a Wooper, but something about it looks off," Sora said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said. Sora took out his Pokédex and scanned it.
Wooper Paldean Form, the Poison Fish Pokémon
Type: Poison/Ground
After losing a territorial struggle, Paldean Wooper began living on land. This Pokémon changed over time, developing a poisonous film to protect its body.
"Just what I thought. A familiar Pokémon, but from a different region," Sora said.
"First time I ever saw one up close," Kairi said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"Toge, Toge," Togepi chirped.
"You don't think it's a wild Wooper, do you?" Ventus asked.
"Not a chance. This Wooper must have a Trainer if it came all this way," Sora said.
"Wooper, where are you?" A voice called out. The Paldean Wooper turned around and a boy with blonde hair and a pair of glasses came through the bushes. He has a white shirt and an orange tie. He also orange shorts and brown shoes. The Paldean Wooper went up to him. "Wooper, there you are!"
"Wooper!" The Paldean Wooper said.
"I told you not to wonder off. You might end up getting lost. I swear, I can't take my eyes off you for a second," the boy said.
"Wooper," the Paldean Wooper said.
"Say, does that Wooper belong to you?" Sora asked.
"Yeah, she does. Sorry if my Wooper caused you any trouble," the boy apologized.
"Don't apologize. We were shocked to see a Wooper like that," Sora said.
"Are you from the Paldea region?" Kairi asked.
"Yeah. I came here from Cabo Poco in Paldea," the boy said.
"Cabo Poco, huh?" Sora asked.
"What's with the clothes?" Ventus asked.
"Oh? This? I'm a student of Paldea Academy," the boy said.
"Paldea Academy?" Sora, Kairi, and Ventus asked.
"Yeah. It's a school in the Paldean region that teaches all that you need to know about Pokémon from all over the world. The academy is divided into two wings: the Naranja wing, and the Uva wing. I'm assigned at the Naranja wing. My Wooper and I are on a field trip to the Johto region, so I thought I'd show my Wooper the Wooper that live here. Oh! I need to introduce myself. My name's Tony," the boy said.
"I'm Sora, and this is my Pikachu, and these Pichu are his little brother and sister," Sora introduced.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
"Pichu," both Pichu said.
"I'm Kairi, and this is my Eevee is Angel, and this is Togepi," Kairi introduced.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"Toge, Toge," Togepi chirped.
"I'm Ventus, but everyone calls me Ven. And this is Sparky," Ventus introduced.
"Pika, Pika!" Sparky said.
"Good to meet you," Tony said.
"Wooper," the Paldean Wooper said.
"Say, do any one of you have a Wooper by any chance? I'd like to see one," Tony said.
"I have a Quagsire," Sora said, taking out Quagsire's Pokéball. He tossed it up in the air. "Come out, Quagsire!" His Pokéball opened and his Quagsire came right out.
"Quagsire," Quagsire said.
"So that's a Quagsire, huh?" Tony asked as he took out his Pokédex and scanned it.
Quagsire, the Water Fish Pokémon
The evolved form of Wooper
Type: Water/Ground
A Quagsire hunts by leaving its mouth wide open in water and waiting for its prey to blunder in. Because it doesn't move, it does not get very hungry.
"So cool to see one up close," Tony said. Wooper walked up to Quagsire, so the Water Fish Pokémon looked down and smiled.
"I wonder what the Quagsire there look like?" Ventus asked.
"Actually, there aren't any Quagsire in the Paldea region. The Wooper there evolves into a Pokémon called a Clodsire. And I'm working on having my Wooper evolve into one," Tony said.
"Cool, I'd like to see that happen," Ventus said.
Just then, a rustling sound is heard.
"What's that?" Tony asked.
"Ven, get behind me now!" Sora said, grabbing his cousin and getting him behind him, thinking it was a Heartless or a Nobody. It turns out to be a Meganium.
"Mega," Meganium said.
"It's a Meganium," Kairi said.
"Well, you sure made our hearts race," Sora said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
"Meganium, where are you?" A familiar voice called out. The voice belonged to Casey. "Meganium, did you find that Elekid yet?" She stopped when she saw Sora and Kairi. "Hey, Sora, Kairi! I haven't seen you since the Bug Catching Contest! How are you?"
"Well, we're doing great, Casey," Sora said.
"It looks like your Bayleef evolved into a Meganium," Kairi said.
"Sure have. Ever since then, Meganium's been my best batter and MVP," Casey said. She spotted Ventus behind Sora. "Who's this?"
"This is my cousin. His name's Ventus, but we call him Ven. And the Pikachu with him is Sparky," Sora said.
"Hey," Ventus said.
"Cousin? I thought he was your little brother," Casey said.
"I was thinking the same thing," Tony said.
"And who are you?" Casey asked.
"Right. My name's Tony, and this my Wooper," Tony introduced.
"Wooper," Wooper said.
"This is a Wooper?" Casey asked.
"Tony and his Wooper are from the Paldea region," Kairi said.
"That explains it," Casey said.
"Casey, you mentioned you were looking for an Elekid, right?" Sora asked.
"Yeah, that's right. I heard there was one in the area, so I wanted to find it and catch it when I see it. You haven't seen one have you?" Casey asked.
"No, we haven't. But I can understand why you want one so badly," Sora said.
"Why does she want an Elekid that badly?" Tony asked.
"Well, Casey has a passion for yellow Pokémon with black stripes," Kairi said.
"That explains the get-up," Tony said.
"Not only that. My family have been longtime fans of the Electabuzz Pokémon Baseball team," Casey said.
"Electabuzz has a Pokémon Baseball team? I didn't know that," Tony said. Casey gasped in shock when Tony just said it. "What's the matter?"
"YOU NEVER HEARD OF THE ELECTABUZZ BASEBALL TEAM?!" Casey exclaimed at the top of her lungs.
"Is that so strange?" Tony asked.
"It is if you're a diehard Electabuzz fan like she is," Sora said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
"When I get done with you, I'm going to turn you a real Electabuzz fan before you know it!" Casey said.
"Um, okay," Tony said.
"For starters, you're gonna help me catch an Elekid!" Casey said.
"Do I have a choice?" Tony asked.
"Let's go!" Casey said, dragging him by his right arm.
"We should go after them just in case something happens," Kairi suggested.
"You're right. You'll never know when the wrong kind of company might show up," Sora said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
"Pichu," the Shiny Pichu said.
"Pichu," the Spiky-eared Pichu said.
"I can still go with you, can I?" Ventus asked.
"Pikachu," Sparky said.
"Yeah, but stay close," Sora said.
With that said, Sora, Kairi, Ventus, and the Pokémon follows Casey and Tony just in case they weren't the only ones in the area.
Over to Professor Elm's lab, Tracey shows Professor Oak his entire sketchbook. Professor Oak was very impressed
"Nicely drawn. You have real potential, Tracey.
"Thank you, professor. That means a whole lot," Tracey said.
"I'm glad you think so. I have been wondering this for a long time now, so I would like to ask this of you," Professor Oak said.
"What is it, professor?" Tracey asked.
"I was thinking, and I was wondering if you would be interested in being my assistant?" Professor Oak asked. Tracey was surprised by the offer.
"Me? Your assistant?" Tracey asked.
"You don't have to answer right away. You have all the time in the world to make up your mind," Professor Oak said.
"Well, I'm flattered you would offer this to me, and thank you for giving me a chance to think it over," Tracey said. He did want to consider it, but he didn't know how Sora and Kairi would feel about it.
Meanwhile, Team Rocket are up in their balloon, searching for Sora and his friends.
"Those twerps should be around here somewhere. I can practically smell them," Jessie said.
"You must have a nose like a Nosepass," Meowth said.
"Wait a minute, you two! Look down below!" James said, looking through his binocluars. Jessie and Meowth put on their binocluars, assuming that it's Sora and his friends, but instead, it's a wild Elekid.
"That's an Elekid," Meowth said.
"And it looks like a strong one, too," Jessie said.
"This is a good chance to test out our new Pokémon. Wouldn't you agree?" James asked.
"One hundred percent," Jessie said, taking out a Pokéball and threw it. "Go! Yanmega!" Her Pokéball opened and her Yanmega emerged from inside, ready to battle. Elekid spotted the Ogre Darner Pokémon buzzing above them. "Yanmega! Use Ancient Power!" Yanmega unleashed Ancient Power right at the Electric Pokémon, but it dodges and heads right at Yanmega with a Thunder Punch.
"Here it comes! It's using Thunder Punch!" James said.
"Use Detect!" Jessie ordered. Yanmega's compound eyes gave off a sparkle and managed to dodge the electrified punch attack. "Okay, Yanmega! Use Silver Wind!" Yanmega flapped its wings incredibly hard and sends Elekid flying. "And it's gone."
"Um, Jess, weren't we supposed to catch that Elekid?" Meowth asked, reminding her. Jessie winced when she realized the mistake she made.
"Oh, yeah. I guess I got carried away," Jessie said as she chuckled nervously.
"You guess?" James asked.
"If there was a way to lure that Elekid over to us," Meowth said. James gets an idea.
"Hey, I've got it! We can use my new Weepinbell to use Sweet Scent to lure that Elekid back to us!" James said.
"James, that's a brilliant idea!" Jessie said.
They land their balloon and James took out a Pokéball and tossed it.
"Go! Weepinbell!" James called out. Weepinbell came right out. "Use Sweet Scent!" Weepinbell releases a pink powder from its mouth.
Over to Elekid, it lands on a tree filled with Oran Berries. Elekid started to eat the berries and healed itself of its injuries. Elekid climbed on down as Sora, Kairi, Ventus, Casey, Tony, and the Pokémon arrived in the area.
"There's gotta be an Elekid around here somewhere," Casey said.
"You say that, Casey, but one's not gonna just show up right in front of you," Sora said. Ventus sees Elekid by the tree.
"Look! There's one!" Ventus said, pointing at Elekid. Casey's face lit up like it was Christmas.
"An Elekid! Just the perfect Pokémon to cheer me on for the Electabuzz Pokémon Baseball games! You're up to bat, Meganium!" Casey said.
"Meganium!" Meganium said, stepping in. "Megani."
"Go for it, Casey!" Kairi said.
"Meganium! Use Headbutt!" Casey ordered. Meganium was about to attack when he caught a whiff of something in the air. "Meganium, what's wrong?" Elekid caught the same whiff and started to follow it. Meganium started to follow it as well. "Where are you going?" Pikachu, Angel, Sparky, Togepi, the Pichu, and Wooper caught the same whiff and started to follow them.
"Hey, Sparky, where are you going?" Ventus asked.
"Pikachu, Pichu, wait up," Sora said.
"Angel, stop," Kairi said.
"Wooper, stop," Tony said. Kairi sniffed the air and she figured it out.
"Guys, some Pokémon is using Sweet Scent," Kairi said.
"If I remember right, Sweet Scent is used to lure in wild Pokémon to be caught," Tony said.
"That's exactly right," Kairi said.
"That explains why Meganium and the other Pokémon are walking off," Casey said.
"I guess we're not the only ones on Elekid's trail," Sora said.
"Someone is out to catch Elekid? I saw it first!" Casey said.
"We keep following them and see where they go," Ventus said.
"Yeah, let's go," Sora said.
Meanwhile, Ash and Leaf were in the area, and they caught a whiff of something in the air.
"You smell that?" Leaf asked.
"Yeah. It's gotta be a Sweet Scent. And it's gotta be close by," Ash said.
"I think it might be a Pokémon Hunter using Sweet Scent to lure in wild Pokémon, so let's follow it," Leaf said.
"Good idea. Come on," Ash said. Ash and Leaf followed it right to the source, and they spotted Team Rocket hiding in the shrubs by a tree. "Look, it's Team Rocket!"
"Don't they ever give up? What are they up to?" Leaf asked.
"I don't know, but we should just wait and see," Ash said. He took out Charizard's Pokéball and held it. "And spring into action when we need to."
"Yeah, I like that plan," Leaf said, taking out Venusaur's Pokéball and held it.
Team Rocket waited patiently and they spotted Elekid coming from the distance.
"Look, it's Elekid. It's working!" Jessie said.
"And that's not all! Lookie!" Meowth said. They spotted Pikachu, Angel, Sparky, Togepi, the Pichu, Meganium, and Wooper coming as well. "We got some other Poké treasures coming towards us."
"The twerps are probably right behind us. Quick! Let's hide!" Jessie said. And they ducked their heads down.
"I knew something was up. Now to spring into action," Ash said. "Come out, Charizard!" His Pokéball opened and Charizard emerged from inside. Sora, Kairi, Ventus, Casey, and Tony were getting closer and they saw Weepinbell giving off Sweet Scent.
"It's coming from that Weepinbell!" Ventus said.
"Come a little closer," Jessie whispered.
"You're getting warmer," James whispered.
"You're on fire," Meowth whispered.
"Fire Blast!" Ash ordered.
This puzzled Team Rocket as Charizard came out of hiding and fired a Fire Blast, hitting Weepinbell on the mark.
The Pokémon all stopped their tracks as Sweet Scent is no longer in effect. Sora, Kairi, Ventus, Casey, and Tony stopped as well.
"Where did that Charizard come from?" Tony asked.
"I think I know whose Charizard that is!" Sora said.
"Hey, what the hell is the big idea?!" James yelled, coming out of hiding.
"We had it all planned out!" Meowth yelled.
"And you ruined it for us!" Jessie said.
"Team Rocket!" Sora, Kairi, and Ventus exclaimed.
"Who?" Tony asked.
"They're bad guys who steals Pokémon from other Trainers!" Ventus said.
"They steal from other Trainers?!" Tony gasped.
"Prepare for trouble, you're saying that like it's a bad thing!" Jessie started.
"Make it double, it's a real fling!" James added with a rhyme.
"To prote-" Jessie was cut off.
"Oh, won't you just shut up with your stupid motto, you stupid old lady?!" Leaf yelled. Jessie growled in anger.
"I'M NOT A STUPID OLD LADY!" Jessie yelled. Ash, Leaf, and her Venusaur came out of hiding.
"Ash, Leaf!" Sora said.
"What are you doing here?" Kairi asked.
"We were just in the area, and we saw what these stooges were up to," Ash said.
"You're going to pay for ruining our plan!" James yelled.
"And I know how you're going to do it!" Jessie said, taking out her Pokéballs and threw them. "Lickitung, Yanmega! Go!"
"Go! Bellsprout, Victreebel! You too, Weepinbell!" James called out, throwing two of his Pokéballs. Weepinbell jumped in as Victreebel came out and chomped on James's head. "Not me, Victreebel! Them!"
"Looks like they got new Pokémon," Kairi said.
"How about we teach these morons a lesson?" Sora suggested.
"Good idea!" Casey said.
"Go! Wooper!" Tony called out. Wooper stepped in, ready to battle.
"Uh, James, what is that thing?" Jessie asked.
"I think it's a Wooper. Better look it up," James said, typing on a laptop computer and brings up Wooper's data. "Yes! It is a Wooper! A Paldean Wooper to be exact!"
"A Pokémon with a climate change is worth big bucks!" Meowth said.
"Lickitung! Use Stomp on that Wooper!" Jessie ordered. Lickitung heads right over to Wooper to stomp on her.
"Wooper! Dodge and use Toxic!" Tony ordered. Wooper dodges and spews a black sludge at Lickitung, badly poisoning it. "Now use Venoshock!" Wooper unleashed Venoshock and it deals some heavy damage on Lickitung.
"How dare you do that! Yanmega! Use Steel Wing!" Jessie ordered. Yanmega flew at Wooper.
"Angel! Use Swift!" Kairi ordered. Angel fired Swift, hitting Yanmega. "Use Swift again!"
"Use Detect!" Jessie ordered. Angel fired another Swift, but Yanmega uses Detect to avoid Swift. "Yes! I love that move!" Kairi gets an idea.
"Use Swift again!" Kairi ordered.
"Use Detect again," Jessie yawned. Yanmega attempts to use Detect again, but failed a second time, so it gets hit, much to Jessie's dismay. "WHAT?! WHAT THE HELL JUST HAPPENED?!"
"You should have known Detect has a fifty-fifty chance of failing the more times it's used, but I'd be wasting my breath on you," Kairi said.
"Ooh, I hate it when things don't go my way!" Jessie yelled.
"Bellsprout! Use Vine Whip!" James ordered. Bellsprout lands a hit with Vine Whip, hitting Wooper.
"On no! Wooper!" Tony gasped.
"Victreebel! Use Leaf Blade!" James ordered. Victreebel lands a hit with a Leaf Blade.
"Meganium! Show them a real Vine Whip!" Casey ordered. Meganium lands a hit with a Vine Whip, dealing damage on Bellsprout and Victreebel.
"Weepinbell! Use Razor Leaf!" James ordered. Weepinbell fired a Razor Leaf at the opposing Pokémon.
"Use a real Razor Leaf!" Casey ordered. Meganium fired his own Razor Leaf, cutting through the leaves, hitting Weepinbell.
"Use Vine Whip!" James ordered. Weepinbell extends its vine at Meganium.
"Use Iron Tail on that Weepinbell!" Sora ordered. Pikachu dashed at Weepinbell and lands a hit, dealing some damage.
"You okay, Wooper?" Tony asked.
"Wooper," Wooper said. The Poison Fish Pokémon stood on her feet and then started to evolve. Everyone were amazed by what they were seeing. Wooper has become a quadrupedal, amphibious Pokémon, with a rounded body that is dark brown on the top and light brown on the bottom, forming a wave pattern in the middle. She has black beady eyes, a large mouth, and a pair of tiny nostrils. Her four legs are rounded and have three digits each. She has six light purple spots on her back. A short dorsal fin delineates her lower back and ends at her stout, bulbous tail.
"You evolved!" Tony exclaimed happily.
"Let's have a look at this," Sora said, taking out his Pokédex and scanned the newly evolved Pokémon.

Type: Poison/Ground
It lives at the bottom of ponds and swamps. It will carry Wooper on its back and ferry them across water from one shore to the other. When attacked, it sticks thick spines out from its body in retaliation.
"So cool," Ventus said.
"Clodsire," the newly evolved Clodsire said.
"Okay, let's show these bozos what we're made of!" Tony said.
"Clodsire! Use Poison Jab!" Tony ordered. Clodsire charges at the Team Rocket Pokémon. Clodsire extends six thick spines from her body and used them on the Team Rocket Pokémon. Elekid joins right in and lands a Thunder Punch onto them.
"Let's wrap this up! Use Flamethrower!" Ash ordered.
"Thunderbolt!" Sora ordered.
"Venusaur! Use Solar Beam!" Leaf ordered.
"You use Solar Beam, too, Meganium!" Casey ordered.
"Use Swift!" Kairi ordered.
"Use Venoshock!" Tony ordered.
All of the Pokémon unleashed their chosen attacks and struck Team Rocket and their new Pokémon, resulting in an explosion. They're seen flying in the air.
"Just when we get some new Pokémon, it blows up in our faces!" Jessie yelled.
"Should've known it was going to backfire," Meowth said.
"Look on the bright side. It's better than being killed by someone from Organization XIII," James said.
"We're blasting off again!" Team Rocket shouted as they go flying. A star twinkles in the distance.
"Good riddance to those dum-dums," Ventus said.
"Pikachu," Sparky agreed.
"Now that they're gone, you know what to do, Casey," Sora said.
"Oh yeah! Elekid!" Casey said. "Meganium! I'm bringing you up to bat!" Meganium steps in to battle. Elekid fires a Thunder Shock right at Meganium. "Dodge it and use Vine Whip!" Meganium extends his vines and lands a hit with a Vine Whip. "Use Razor Leaf!" Meganium fires Razor Leaf at Elekid, but it blocks with a Thunder Punch.
"He's using Thunder Punch to block that Razor Leaf!" Kairi said.
"Go in for a home run with your Headbutt!" Casey ordered. Meganium lands a hit with a Headbutt, but Elekid doesn't stay down for long. "Get ready to use Solar Beam!" Meganium begins to build up energy for a Solar Beam. Elekid rushes with a Quick Attack and lands a hit. "Here's the pitch!" Meganium fires Solar Beam, hitting Elekid hard. It was enough to knock Elekid out, so Casey took out a Pokéball. "Elekid just struck out! And here's a Pokéball pitch!" She threw the Pokéball like a baseball, hitting Elekid, making it flow inside. The Pokéball wobbles around and around. Stars swirls around the Pokéball to confirm the catch. Casey's face lit up. "Grand Slam! I caught an Elekid!"
"Megani!" Meganium cheered.
"Congratulations, Casey!" Kairi said.
"Great catch!" Sora said.
"You're a real MVP, Casey!" Ventus said.
"Thanks, you guys!" Casey said.
"Well, I gotta say, I was really impressed. And I think I'm starting to become an Electabuzz fan now, so I think I'll catch a game and root for them," Tony said.
"That's great to hear! I think I'll give you an Electabuzz tribute song!" Casey said.
"And here we go," Sora said.

The players all charge the field and they all electrify the game!
They pitch, and catch, and bunt so quick, their faithful bats are thunder sticks!
They're power hitters, so they do the trick, the Electabuzz always make the hit!

"Great song!" Tony said. He looked at the sun as it is setting. "Oh, I better get back with my class! My homeroom teacher's probably looking for me. And I'm going to be in a lot of trouble if I show up late!"
"It was great meeting you and your Clodsire," Sora said.
"You too, Sora. The same with your Quagsire. I'm looking forward in meeting you again someday!" Tony said as he and Clodsire took off.
Sora, Kairi, Ventus, Casey, and the Pokémon heads on back to New Bark Town. Sora, Kairi, Ventus, Pikachu, Angel, Togepi, Sparky, and the Pichu for Ethan's house while Casey went for her home, but it was an exciting day to say the least, and the training for the Johto Pokémon League tournament continues on.
Meanwhile, in the World That Never Was, Roxas and Xipak sat alone on the bed as this bit of revelation was still on his mind. He just had a hard time accepting that he's the Nobody of Sora. He knew he couldn't get the answers he wanted from inside the Organization, so there was only one option left, but it is considered an act of treason against the Organization. He had to leave the Organization.
"Xipak, you and I are going to leave the Organization," Roxas said.
Will Roxas successfully escape the Organization? And even if he does, will the Organization hunt him down and force him to come back, or will they just destroy him? And what will happen when they learn of Xion? More to come when we continue on.
