DISCLAIMER:

To all the wizards and witches out there, help me not to be hexed or cursed by our headmistress, J.K. Rowling, for borrowing her created spell and charm called Harry Potter and any materials related to it. I assure you that I passed both my O.W.L.S. and N.E.W.T. before doing this.

Please help me to IM the immortal author of Percy Jackson that this mortal dare not make any blasphemous acts against an immortal. I am actually scared of being blasted off... This work is my sacrifice for your kindness. All hail, Rick Riordan!

I hope you will enjoy this stupid idea I just came up with.

A metaphysical force that moves with the flow of civilization, the pure essence of mankind's culture, and everything that constitutes humanity's collective spirit and civilization, it is occasionally referred to as the "flame" by immortals, demigods, and monsters. This force moves with the center of human prosperity and influence, which was originally founded in Greece, carried by Zephyros, the Western wind, to Rome, and then traveled across Europe, stopping in Germany, France, Spain, and eventually ending up in Great Britain for a while. Like every other place the "flame" of civilization has been, the gods never ceased their interaction with the mortal world.

Hecate, goddess of Magic, Sorcery, and Witchcraft, blessed a few of her mortal followers, giving birth to a new race who are able to wield her gifts: witches and wizards. These wizards, in general, were granted some control, although not as much as the goddess' own child, over some of her sphere of influence. Her followers learn how to brew potions, create illusions, falsify or alter memories, and receive her greatest gift thus far: hiding, disguise, and teleportation through the Mist.

Although the gifts she has given to her followers are somewhat powerful, only those who she deems worthy can harness them, and being a mortal with no divine blood, these gifts are further limited and can only be channeled by a special magical instrument, the wand.

Most magic is done with the aid of wands, but sometimes magic can be cast without the use of wands. Wandless magic is, however, very difficult and requires much concentration and incredible skill; advanced wizards and some magical creatures are known to perform such magic.

Even when the gods have left Great Britain, the magical community continues to prosper, creating and developing notable wizards that influence the whole community. With collective efforts, spells and potions are being created, developed, and mastered before the whole community fully integrates itself into society.

Over the span of several years, they have forgotten their roots and developed pride, which eventually leads to thinking that they are above others and non-magic folks, spreading arrogance, prejudice, and eventually unrest. They started to divide themselves based on their blood purity.

One particular wizard, born with exceptional talent in magic and intellect, emerged and was dubbed one of the greatest in the wizarding world: Tom Marvolo Riddle. However, with extreme thanatophobia and prejudice against those wizards born of non-magical folk—muggles—and a deep obsession with blood purity, it has birthed one of the most ruthless dark wizards. His aim is to rid the wizarding world of muggle heritage and conquer them and the wizarding community to achieve pure-blood dominance.

Contemptuous of the name of his foul-common muggle father, he made an anagram of his name: Tom Marvolo Riddle. The rearranged letters spelled "I Am Lord Voldemort", a name he hoped wizards everywhere would one day fear to speak. And to achieve and accomplish his cause, the Death Eaters were established, and thus began the crusade, committing heinous crimes and murder, terrorizing and creating unrest within the magical community and in the mortal world.

For so many years, wizards lived in fear as they waged war for their survival and the safety of their families. The Order of the Phoenix is a secret society he founded to oppose Lord Voldemort and his Death Eaters, hence commencing the wizarding war. It is led by the renown Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore.

On one eventful night at the Hog's Head Pub, the fate of the wizarding world was foretold by Sybill Trelawney, the great-great-granddaughter of a celebrated seer.

"The one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord approaches... born to those who have thrice defied him, born as the seventh month dies... and the Dark Lord will mark him as his equal, but he will have power the Dark Lord knows not... and either must die at the hand of the other, for neither can live while the other survives... the one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord will be born as the seventh month dies..."

But an incomplete prophecy was leaked to one of Voldemort's followers, who interpreted it. It was said that trying to figure out what a prophecy means or trying to force a prophecy to come to pass may result in disaster. It was only a year later that the Dark Lord finally found his target—the child of the Potters. But unbeknownst to anyone, the prophecy unfolded that evening.

Lily and James Potter died at the hands of Lord Voldemort, but the killing curse bounced back when he tried to do the same to the young Harry Potter, which ended his reign and terror. It was also to no one's knowledge that, aside from Lord Voldemort and his Death Eaters, there was one more party present at the scene.

The Lord of the Underworld, Hades, doesn't really approve of those who escape punishment. From time to time, over the millennia, Hades would tasked his son, Nico di Angelo, to collect souls in his lieutenant's stead. There's also a time when his lieutenant is on leave of duty for a few years, and his son will retrieve and reap the souls of those who are left unpunished. Those who have died unjustly will face judgment in the Underworld, where there is no mercy, only justice.

Nico stopped in his tracks as he felt a sudden tug on his gut—a presence so vile, he had the urge to vomit. He never felt this kind of presence again after he left the 'pit'. He followed the scent of the vile creature and ended up in front of a house, where the souls of a man and a woman linger. He then saw the body of the man not far from where they stood.

Feeling the presence of a powerful being, both souls turned around to find a boy, no less than sixteen, holding a black iPad in his hands. Nico is busy updating his list, trying to check if there's something in the house, only to face lag and delay. He helplessly accepted it as a fact, as he is far from America. 'The list may update after a minute', it says.

Nico noticed the two souls and waved his hand. A chasm opened below them, guiding them to the Underworld. Before he went in, the vile scent got stronger. As he made it to the second floor of the Potter house, he saw the woman's body lying on the floor and, in front of her, a crying child, where he could feel the repulsive, vile presence.

Nico's iPad turned into a pitch-black scythe as he swung it directly at the child. The scythe, purposely avoiding the child's soul, caught something as it passed through the child and plunged into the floor, pinning it and squirming before being swallowed by a chasm that leads directly to the fields of punishment.

Having fulfilled his purpose, he turned around, intending to leave, but stopped when he heard a thud. The child managed to get out of his crib and started crawling towards him. Nico raised a brow before completely ignoring the child and walking out of the room, but after taking a few steps, he stopped before turning around to fetch the child. Nico somehow recalled how it felt to be alone when his sister died when he was still a demigod. He does not want it to happen to the child. He glanced one more time at his surroundings before walking towards the corner, melting in the shadows with young Harry Potter in his embrace.

The reinforcements from the Order of the Phoenix arrived after an hour, and the news of the fall of the Potters, their missing child, Harry Potter, and the defeat of the Dark Lord was announced to the world, ending the wizarding war.
