Justice Across Time and Space
Extra chapter 2
For those wondering why I did that bit with Jotaro telling Izuku not to talk to Katsuki about what happened and where he was going at UA, I did it because it is true that he isn't ready for that. We've seen in the main series that he doesn't handle losing well. And when it comes down to it trying to tell him he'll be fine, especially from someone who made it when he didn't, wouldn't help at all. If anything, it might make him lash out more. We already have seen when he cried after losing during the battle trial, then his frustration at how fast Izuku grew during the internships, and finally after he failed to get his license how it built up his long term spiral. The difference here is that his loss, will be one where he builds himself up more instead of trying to knock someone else down. He knows he'll have to catch up, but he has to do it without as many of the same yardsticks that he is used to. On the flipside, I wanted to give Izuku a less toxic character to compare to and compete with. And yes, my OC as the filler has been done plenty but, in his case, I wrote parts of him from dealing with my own experiences with depression. Sometimes you need to accept what pushed you into that hole so you can move past it. Once you've pushed past it, then you can move on or pick yourself back up. And its at those times you'll know who your friends are. Because they'll be the first ones to help you pick yourself back up and stand.
