Episode 262: Barboach's Strength

On the very next morning, Sora, Kairi, Lisia, Pikachu, and Angel continued on their way for Lavaridge Town, going through the mountain region when they spotted a whole bunch of Spinda tumbling around. The Spinda all had different patterns on their bodies.

"Look at that," Kairi said.

"Oh, how cute! Spinda!" Lisia cooed.

"Spinda, huh?" Sora asked, taking out his Rotom Phone and scanned them.

Spinda, the Spot Panda Pokémon

Type: Normal

It is said that no two or more Spinda has the same spot patterns on their bodies. Spinda moves around, staggering all the while as it was dancing while it's dizzy. The movements of Spinda can cause it's opponents to be confused.

"Wow, Spinda must be a cool Pokémon, right?" Sora asked.

"Cool and adorable. Just look at them all," Kairi said.

"Spinda, Spinda," A Spinda said. That one Spinda has a heart-shaped spot on its right side of its head.

"Oh, this one is very cute. I love that heart-shaped spot on her. That's it, I'm gonna catch her. Angel, go get her," Kairi said.

"Eevee!" Angel said. She got ready to battle the Spinda with the heart-shaped spot.

"Angel! Use Headbutt!" Kairi ordered. Angel rushes at the Spot Panda Pokémon and lands a Headbutt on her. Spinda fights back as her fist emits a rainbow aura and lands a punch on her.

"That was Dizzy Punch," Sora said.

"Pikachu," Pikachu agreed. Spinda then fired a Psybeam right at Angel.

"Dodge and use Iron Tail!" Kairi ordered. Angel swings her tail and lands a hit on Spinda. "Use Swift!" Angel fired Swift at Spinda, dealing some damage on her. "Use Quick Attack!" Angel dashed right at Spinda and delivered a hit with Quick Attack. Kairi took out a Pokéball and threw it. Spinda flowed inside and the Pokéball wobbles around and around. Stars swirls around to confirm the catch. Kairi's Pokémon Box starts going off asking her if she wants to keep Spinda with her. She chose to send Spinda to Professor Oak's lab. "I caught myself an adorable Spinda!"

"Eevee, vee!" Angel cheered.

"Great catch, Kairi!" Sora praised his girlfriend.

"Pika, Pika!" Pikachu added.

"Thank you, Sora," Kairi said, giving her boyfriend a kiss on the cheek. This makes Sora blush as Lisia just swooned over the kiss.

A little later, Sora, Kairi, Lisia, Pikachu, and Angel continued on their way towards Lavaridge Town. Along the way, Sora exchanged Sableye for his Ralts as Kairi exchanged Gulpin for her Ralts. As they kept going, they spotted twelve familiar faces.

"Tai, Matt, Davis, Ken, TK, Izzy, Cody, Joe," Sora greeted.

"Kari, Sora, Mimi, Yolei ," Kairi greeted.

"Ketchum, Kairi, Lisia! It's been a while," Tai said.

"Good to see you again," Kari said.

"Likewise," Kairi said.

"We saw you win the Fallarbor Town Pokémon Contest, Kairi. Congratulations," Sora T said.

"Thanks. Glad you enjoyed it," Kairi said.

"So you're on your way towards Lavaridge Town, aren't you Sora 2?" Davis asked.

"Yeah. Also, I won another Frontier Symbol from the Frontier Brain there," Sora said, showing the DigiDestined the Guts Symbol.

"Whoa, that so cool," Matt said.

"It sure is. It must have been a tough battle to earn that," Ken said.

"It was. Greta gave me a real run for my money. And that Medicham of hers was nothing to sneeze at," Sora said.

"Pikachu," Pikachu nodded.

"How about you fill us in on what you were up to?" Mimi suggested.

"Gladly," Sora said.

Joined by the DigiDestined, Sora, Kairi, Lisia, Pikachu, and Angel walked they explained to them about their escapades since they last saw them. They told them about the encounters they had with Jirachi, and about their run-in with Zell, and with Luxord. They shared about Brendan being chosen by the Keyblade, and having one for his own. And they filled them in about seeing Thatcher yesterday, and about Sheridan's scam.

"Glad to know Thatcher's doing okay for himself," Joe said.

"Yeah, but if I ever get a hold of that Sheridan, I would have given him a piece of my mind," Yolei said.

"Well, he's already in jail by now," Kairi said.

"Vee," Angel said.

The group decided to take a break to relax and have some lunch. Kairi has prepared some Pokémon food for all the Pokémon and they all happiy ate the food provided for them. All except for Barboach. For some reason, he was down in the dumps. The reason he is depressed is because of his defeat against Watton's Magneton reminded him of how he lost his last battle with his old Trainer.

(Flashback)

"Use Water Gun!" Barboach's ex-Trainer ordered and Barboach used his moves but the opposing Magnemite dodged. "Use Mud Slap!" He attacked but Magnemite dodged again. "Argh! Use Magnitude!" His previous Trainer was desperate to win and he didn't care about the condition of his Pokémon as he attacked again, but the opposing Magnemite dodged.

"Use Magnet Bomb!" The Trainer ordered and Magnemite used Magnet Bomb, beating Barboach with one hit.

"What!? Just one hit I lost while he didn't receive damage!" He exclaimed angrily.

Now for that defeat which was "unacceptable", his ex-Trainer let out Barboach in the middle of the road shortly after that.

"You're useless! What good are you if you can't even beat an Electric-type Pokémon like a Magnemite? I'm just going to catch a stronger Barboach or maybe a Whiscash!" The Trainer said, taking off. And that was when Barboach started crying, alerting Sora and his friends.

(Flashback ends)

Barboach started sobbing. The sobbing has alerted Sora and the rest of the group

"Barboach, what's wrong?" Sora asked the Whiskers Pokémon.

"Pika?" Pikachu added.

"Boach..." Barboach sadly replied. Kairi caught on very quickly.

"I think he is still sad after he lost against Watton's Magneton," Kairi told Sora.

"Vee," Angel said.

"What are you talking about?" Tai asked.

"Well, you see, my Barboach is actually an abandoned Pokémon," Sora said.

"Abandoned?" The DigiDestined asked in disbelief.

"That's right," Sora said.

"How could someone do something like that?" TK asked.

"I figured there's a Trainer who only cared about winning and not about the well-being of their Pokémon at all," Sora said.

"That's just awful," Kari said.

"You know it," Sora said. "That was when we found Barboach, and made him one of my Pokémon."

"It's normal that every Pokémon feel bad when they lost a battle." Sora T said.

"But also they can learn more when they lose rather than winning," Izzy explained to him, however, Barboach didn't feel better until Sora realized how to cheer up Barboach.

"Look, Barboach, we will train you very well and you'll make your moves stronger than before," Sora told him.

"Boach!" Barboach said, now feeling happy.

A little while later, Barboach trained a lot and managed to learn Water Pulse after using Water Gun many times, and also he learned to use Mud Shot.

"That's great, Barboach! You're getting stronger and stronger than ever!" Sora said.

"Bar!" Barboach beamed.

"I think I can help out with training your Barboach, if you like," Joe offered.

"I think that's well-appreciated, Joe. Just don't go easy on me," Sora said.

"All right, but you'll end up being sorry," Joe said, taking out a Pokéball and threw it. "Go! Sealeo!" His Pokéball opened and a bright-blue, pinniped Pokémon came out. Its throat and chest are beige with speckling around the edges. There are two short tusks protruding from its upper jaw, and it has dark brown, oval eyes. It has a powerful pair of front flippers, which are able to crush ice. Additionally, it has a short, flipper-like tail. On the sides of its blunt muzzle are thick, white whiskers. Sora took out his Rotom Phone and scanned it.

Sealeo, the Ball Roll Pokémon

The evolved form of Spheal

Type: Ice/Water

Sealeo often balances and rolls things on the tip of its nose. While the Pokémon is rolling something, it checks the object's aroma and texture to determine whether it likes the object or not.

"Wow, so that's what Spheal evolves into," Sora commented. "No pun intended, but your Sealeo looks like such a cool Pokémon."

"Thanks for the compliment, Sora 2. I'm ready whenever you are," Joe said.

"I'm ready, Joe," Sora said.

"Okay. Sealeo! Use Aurora Beam!" Joe ordered. Sealeo fired Aurora Beam right at Barboach.

"Dodge and use Water Pulse!" Sora ordered. Barboach dodges Sealeo's Aurora Beam and fired a Water Pulse, hitting Sealeo on the mark.

"Sealeo! Use Body Slam!" Joe ordered. Sealeo jumped to land on Barboach, but dodged.

"Use Mud Bomb!" Sora ordered. Barboach fired Mud Bomb.

"Dodge it, Sealeo!" Joe called out. Sealeo attempts to dodge, but the Ball Roll Pokémon was struck by Barboach's Mud Bomb.

"Use Magnitude!" Sora ordered. Barboach unleashed a Magnitude which reads a 7 on the richter scale. Sealeo has received some damage from the shaking.

"You okay, Sealeo?" Joe asked.

"Sealeo," Sealeo said.

"You battled enough. You should rest," Joe said. "Your training has paid off."

"I'm starting to think you're right. You gotten so much stronger since we met, Barboach," Sora said.

"Boach!" Barboach said, happy.

"Well, you should take it easy for right now. Don't wanna overdo it," Sora said, calling Barboach inside.

After resting and then doing some training, the group started to walk, continuing their journey towards Lavaridge Town.

Just as they were walking they heard a group of trainers.

"Wow, you have your 99th victory in a row," One Trainer said.

"That is awesome," another Trainer said.

"Believe me this would never have happened if I hadn't gotten rid of that weak Barboach who couldn't even beat a Magnemite," The third told them which caused Sora, Kairi, the DigiDestined, and Lisia all gasped in shock, now realizing that he was the Trainer who abandoned Barboach.

"It was him...!" Sora said, feeling his blood boiling.

"Pika, Pika!" Pikachu said, sharing Sora's anger.

"That was unforgivable!" Cody said, angered too.

"That weakling was very useless, it didn't matter what I said to it, that thing was very slow and lost in one hit, so I released it before I broke its Pokéball and got rid of it," The Trainer who abandoned Barboach told his two buddies.

"So, it was you all this time!" Sora shouted as the Trainers turned to see the big group.

"And you are...?" The Trainer asked rudely.

"I'm that Barboach's new Trainer, and I'm totally mad by the fact that you abandoned your own Barboach like that, because a Trainer like you shouldn't abandon his Pokémon even if they lose a single battle!" Sora explained to him firmly.

"Please, give me a break, if I kept taking Barboach with me I was going to keep losing, and besides it's just a Barboach, there are many stronger Barboach than that weakling Barboach." The Trainer said, not caring about abandoning a Pokémon.

"How could you say that!?" Tai angrily asked.

"A Trainer like you shouldn't have Pokémon!" Sora T added angrily.

"Also you should work better with your Pokémon!" Sora strictly told him.

"You wish! I just gave orders to Barboach but he didn't do his work, it's not my fault that I lost, it's from that Barboach!" The Trainer said, not wanting to accept the responsibility.

"Give him a lesson, Sora 2!" Yolei told him and he nodded.

"If you don't want to accept your mistake, I'm going to prove it to you with a battle!" Sora said, challenging him to a battle.

"Okay fine, this will be my 100th victory in a row!" The Trainer accepted the challenge.

"That's not gonna happen in my watch!" Sora said, willing to give him a lesson.

"Then, let's get this started, but it'll be a six-on-six Pokémon battle," the Trainer said, taking out a Pokéball and threw it. "Go! Aggron!" His Pokéball opened and let out a huge, bipedal Pokémon. It primarily has a crusty gray exoskeleton, with plates of silver armor adorned. The armor on its head has two pairs of holes with horns protruding from the foremost holes. Its forehead plating extends past its upper jaw in a small point. It has sky-blue eyes, and two nostril-like holes on the tip of its upper jaw. On the rim of its mouth are several pointed, fang-like protrusions and the nape of its neck and back have gray-silver armor sections. It has wide, blunt spikes on its shoulders and gray-silver bands on its arms and legs. Its hands and feet each have three claws. It has a thick, long, black tail. Sora took out his Rotom Phone and scanned it.

Aggron, the Iron Armor Pokémon

The evolved form of Lairon

Type: Steel/Rock

Aggron claims an entire mountain as its own territory. It mercilessly beats up anything that violates its environment. This Pokémon vigilantly patrols its territory at all times.

"Hey, are you going to battle or are you going to use your stupid PokéDex app on your phone?" Barboach's ex-Trainer asked.

"Oh, I'll battle," Sora said, putting his Rotom Phone and took out a Pokéball and threw it. "Go! Mudkip!" His Pokéball opened and his Mudkip came out, ready to battle. Sora's opponent just laughed.

"You're sending out a puny Mudkip after my Aggron?" Barboach's ex-trainer asked.

"Don't be quick to judge. The battle's just getting started," Sora said.

"Well, let's end it quick! Aggron! Use Metal Sound!" Barboach's former Trainer ordered. Aggron vibrated its horns and sends out a sound wave, affecting Mudkip. "Now, use Iron Tail!" Aggron swings its tail right at the Mud Fish Pokémon.

"Dodge it, Mudkip!" Sora called out. Mudkip dodged Aggron's attack. "Use Water Gun!" Mudkip fired Water Gun and lands a hit with a Water Gun.

"Lucky shot! Aggron! Use Shadow Claw!" Barboach's former Trainer ordered. Aggron rushed right at Mudkip with a shadowy aura surrounding its claw.

"Dodge and use Mud-Slap!" Sora ordered. Mudkip dodged Aggron's Shadow Claw and hurls mud right in Aggron's face. His opponent was getting angered by what he was seeing.

"Aggron! Use Iron Tail!" Barboach's former Trainer ordered. Aggron swings its tail in an attempt to land a hit onto Mudkip.

"Dodge it!" Sora called out. Mudkip dodged Aggron's attack.

"WOULD YOU STOP WITH THE FREAKING DODGING?!" Barboach's former Trainer roared.

"Mudkip! Use Waterfall!" Sora ordered. Mudkip came at Aggron with water surrounding him. Mudkip lands a hit onto Aggron. "Okay, Mudkip! Use Water Pulse!" Mudkip hurls a Water Pulse, hitting Aggron right on the mark, resulting in a knockout. Barboach's former Trainer called Aggron back.

"Next time, try harder," Barboach's former Trainer coldly said. He took out his next Pokéball and threw it. "Okay, Whiscash, it's your turn!" His Pokéball opened to reveal a dark blue, catfish-like Pokémon with a yellow underbelly. It has a cavernous mouth with light blue lips that have short, thin whiskers growing from the lower lips. Long, yellow barbels grow from its cheeks, and there is a yellow marking on its forehead that resembles a W. The light blue dorsal fin has a pattern of three spots arranged in a triangle, while its horizontal tail fin lacks spots. Its pectoral fins and belly fins match its main body color. Sora took out his Rotom Phone and scanned it.

Whiscash, the Whiskers Pokémon

The evolved form of Barboach

Type: Water/Ground

Whiscash is extremely territorial. Just one of these Pokémon will claim a large pond as its exclusive territory. If a foe approaches it, it thrashes about and triggers a massive earthquake.

"So that's what Barboach evolves into," Sora said, putting his Rotom Phone away. He called back his Mudkip and took out another Pokéball and threw it. "You're up now, Treecko!" His Pokéball opened and Treecko came out, placing his twig in his mouth.

"Whiscash! Use Ice Beam!" Barboach's former Trainer ordered. Barboach fired Ice Beam right at the Wood Gecko Pokémon.

"Dodge and use Bullet Seed!" Sora ordered. Treecko dodged Barboach's Ice Beam and fired Bullet Seed, hitting Whiscash on the mark.

"Get that Treecko! Use Mud Bomb!" Barboach's former Trainer ordered. Whiscash unleashed a ball of mud and sent it right at Treecko.

"Quick Attack to dodge!" Sora ordered. Treecko dodged Whiscash's Mud Bomb. "Use Leafage!" Treecko unleashed Leafage, landing a hit on the catfish-like Pokémon. "Use Pound!" Treecko swings his tail and lands another hit on it. "Use Bullet Seed!" Treecko fired Bullet Seed, dealing some heavy damage. Whishcash ends up being knocked out. Barboach's former Trainer called Whiscash back.

"You are starting to get on my every nerve! My next one will crush your Pokémon like a bunch of grapes!" Barboach's former Trainer said, taking out another Pokéball and threw it. "Hariyama! Go!" His Pokéball came out and his Hariyama came out, ready to battle. Sora called Treecko back and took out his next Pokéball and threw it.

"You're up, Ralts!" Sora called out. His Pokéball opened and his Ralts came out, ready to battle.

"Hariyama! Crush that weakling with your Force Palm!" Barboach's former Trainer ordered. Hariyama came at Ralts and gets its hand ready crush Ralts.

"Teleport!" Sora ordered. Ralts uses Teleport to dodge Hariyama's Force Palm. "Use Psybeam!" Ralts fired Psybeam, hitting Hariyama on the mark.

"Use Arm Thrust!" Barboach's former Trainer ordered. Hariyama came right Ralts with an Arm Thrust ready to land a hit.

"Ralts! Use Disarming Voice!" Sora ordered. Ralts unleashed a Disarming Voice, hitting Hariyama, dealing some heavy damage. "Use Psychic!" Ralts lifts Hariyama in mid-air and slammed the Arm Thrust Pokémon on the ground, hard, resulting in a knockout. Barboach's former Trainer roared in frustration.

"What is going on?! I'm supposed to win! Not this spiky-headed loser!" Barboach's former Trainer exclaimed. He took out his next Pokéball and threw it. "Go! Shiftry!" His Pokéball opened and his Shiftry emerged from inside, ready to battle. Sora called Ralts back and took out his next Pokéball and threw it.

"You're up, Torchic!" Sora called out. Torchic came out, ready to battle.

"Shiftry! Use Leaf Blade on that little runt!" Barboach's former Trainer ordered. Shiftry rushed right at Torchic with a Leaf Blade.

"Use Flame Charge!" Sora ordered. Torchic charges right at Shiftry, landing a hit.

"Use Dark Pulse!" Barboach's former Trainer ordered. Shiftry fired a Dark Pulse right at Torchic and lands a hit, but it wasn't enough to take the Chick Pokémon down.

"Use Aerial Ace!" Sora ordered. Torchic dashed and lands a hit with an Aerial Ace. "Use Ember! Full power!" Torchic fired a powerful Ember, landing a hit on the Wicked Pokémon. Shiftry ends up being burned.

"Use Bullet Seed!" Barboach's former Trainer ordered. Shiftry fired Bullet Seed, hoping to land a hit.

"Torchic! Dodge and use Flame Charge!" Sora ordered. Torchic dodged Shiftry's Bullet Seed and ran towards Shiftry, landing a hit onto Shiftry. The Wicked Pokémon held its ground, but its burns got the better of it, so it fell backwards, knocked out.

"No, Shiftry!" Barboach's former Trainer exclaimed. He called Shiftry back inside.

"Okay, now I'm angry!" Barboach's former Trainer said, taking out a Pokéball and threw it. "Go! Walrein!" His Pokéball opened to reveal a large, walrus-like Pokémon with a layer of blubber under its skin. It is primarily blue, with thin, white rings around its neck and lines on its fan-like tail-fin. There are two long, ivory tusks in its upper jaw. It has a round snout and yellow eyes, and large tufts of white fur about its face and neck. Its four short legs have long flippers instead of feet. Sora took out his Rotom Phone and scanned it.

Walrein, the Ice Break Pokémon

The evolved form of Sealeo

Type: Ice/Rock

Walrein's two massively developed tusks can totally shatter blocks of ice weighing ten tons with one blow. This Pokémon's thick coat of blubber insulates it from subzero temperatures.

Sora puts his Rotom Phone away and called his Torchic back inside. He turned to Pikachu.

"You're up now, Pikachu," Sora said.

"Chu," Pikachu said, stepping in.

"I'm going to crush that Pikachu into a million pieces! Walrein! Use Ice Fang!" Barboach's former Trainer ordered. Walrein came rushing at Pikachu with its tusks ice emitting.

"Dodge and use Iron Tail!" Sora ordered. Pikachu dodged Walrein's attack and lands a hit onto Walrein.

"Walrein! Use Ice Ball!" Barboach's former Trainer ordered. Walrein forms a ball of ice from its mouth and sent it right at the Mouse Pokémon.

"Pikachu! Dodge and use Electro Ball!" Sora ordered. Pikachu dodged Walrein's attack and forms a ball of electricity. He sends it right at the Ice Break Pokémon, landing a hit.

"Use Ice Fang!" Barboach's former Trainer ordered. Walrein came right at Pikachu with another Ice Fang.

"Pikachu! Thunderbolt, but turn up the juice!" Sora ordered. Pikachu unleashed Thunderbolt, greatly shocking Walrein. The walrus-like Pokémon was down for the count.

"What is going on here?! That stupid little kid just defeated five of my Pokémon! I won't let this stand!" Barboach's former Trainer said, calling back his Walrein and took out his sixth Pokéball and threw it."Go! Magnezone!" His Pokéball opened and his Magnezone emerged from inside.

"Okay, Pikachu, come on back," Sora said. Pikachu returned to Sora's side and he took out his next Pokéball and threw it. "Your moment to shine, Barboach!" His Pokéball opened and his Barboach emerged from inside, ready to battle.

"Oh, my old Barboach. Why did you even bother with that weakling? Do yourself a favor and cut it loose and move on," Barboach's former Trainer said.

"No way," Sora bluntly said. "You seemed to he too focused on winning, you don't understand that Pokémon and Trainers can get stronger when they work together."

"That's a load of bull. Pokémon were placed on this planet to do what we humans tell them to do!" Barboach's former Trainer argued.

"No, you're wrong," Sora argued back. "Pokémon were not placed on this world to do the bidding of human beings! They're here with us to be our friends and companions. I met a lot of Trainers since I got started, and I saw how much they love and care about their Pokémon. I mean, did you fail that lesson or did you not even bother attending class? I was paying attention to your battling style, and it's clear as daylight that you don't care about any of your Pokémon at all."

"And why is that a big deal?" Barboach's former Trainer asked, preferring not to hear any more.

"Because every Trainer should care about their Pokémon. Pokémon and Trainers shares a bond that is worth more than anything. If humans and Pokémon didn't have this bond, then we wouldn't have Mega Evolution. If you think that makes me a wuss, a wimp, then that's your problem, not mine," Sora said.

"That's telling him, Ketchum," Tai said.

"You think I care about any of that baloney? All that matters is winning!" Barboach's former Trainer argued.

"No, it's not!" Sora countered. "You can learn from your losses as well as winning. If battled and did your best, then it'll be worth it."

"I had enough of this crap! I didn't come here to be lectured, I came here to win! And that's what I'm going to do! Magnezone! Use Magnet Bomb!" Barboach's former Trainer ordered. Magnezone unleashed a Magnet Bomb and it heads right for Barboach.

"Use Mud Shot!" Sora ordered. Barboach fired Mud Bomb and it collides with Magnezone's Magnet Bomb, resulting in an explosion.

"Barboach didn't know that before. It doesn't matter! I won't give up that easily! Magnezone! Magnet Bomb again!" Barboach's former Trainer ordered. Magnezone prepared to fire Magnet Bomb again.

"Barboach! Dodge and use Water Pulse!" Sora ordered. Barboach dodged and hurled a Water Pulse, hitting Magnezone. The Magnet Zone Pokémon ends up being confused.

"Yeah! Magnezone's totally confused!" Davis said.

"That's what Water Pulse can do!" Kairi said.

"Eevee!" Angel said.

"Barboach didn't know that one either. It doesn't matter if Barboach has learned some new moves, because Barboach is still weak! Magnezone! Use Hyper Beam!" Barboach's former Trainer ordered. Magnezone prepared to fire Hyper Beam, but it ends up hurting itself in the process.

"Barboach! Use Mud Shot!" Sora ordered. Barboach fired a Mud Shot, hitting Magnezone in the air. Magnezone lands on the ground. "Use Magnitude!" Barboach slammed on the ground, making the ground shake. It was a perfect 10. Magnezone was beaten. Barboach's former Trainer had lost. "And no victory number 100 for you!"

"No! It can't be!" Barboach's former Trainer exclaimed.

"You must have cheated!" The second Trainer accused.

"You can't do that and get away with it!" The first Trainer added.

"Good job, Barboach!" Sora praised. Barboach beamed as he suddenly started to evolve, much to everyone's surprise, even his old Trainer. "Barboach. You're evolving." Barboach has now become a Whiscash. "You're a Whiscash now!"

"Whiscash!" The newly evolved Whiscash said.

"And that is how a Pokémon and its Trainer gets stronger when working together. You were trying too hard to win and that's why you lost! If you worked with your Pokémon, then you would have won," Sora said.

"Shut up! You winning is unacceptable! And you're gonna find out why! Guys, teach him a lesson!" Barboach's former Trainer said. His two followers took out their Pokéballs, ready to take him.

"Seriously?" Sora groaned in annoyance. The DigiDestined stepped in.

"No you don't, you sore loser!" Davis said, holding his Pokéball.

"Take this, you jerk!" TK said.

The DigiDestined threw their Pokéballs. Their Pokémon all came out and they attacked the three Trainers. They ended up running away.

"THIS ISN'T OVER! WE'RE GOING TO REMEMBER THIS!" Barboach's former Trainer yelled as they ran.

"Good! We want you to remember!" Davis shouted.

"Thanks, guys," Sora said.

"We did what we had to, because you're our friend," Matt said.

"And we didn't even need a Keyblade to make those guys run away like the babies that they were," Yolei said.

"You gotta hand it to your Whiscash, he's definitely over his old Trainer now," Ken said.

"I think you're right, Ken. You just proved you gotten so much stronger. You were really awesome," Sora said.

"Cash," Whiscash said.

Now Whiscash has gained some closure from his old life, things will be looking up for him from now on. And now, the journey to Lavaridge Town continues on.
