Chapter 11
Cho enters the library about to do her homework after Potions class she sees Luna and Ginny siting down doing their homework. She walks up them and greets the two "Hey Ginny, hey Luna"
Ginny and Luna stop and greet Cho back in unison "Hey Cho."
"Want to sit down with us Cho?" Ginny asked
"Sure Ginny." Cho said as she takes her seat with Ginny and Luna she then asks, "What are you guys doing?"
"Just finishing up our Divination homework." Luna replied
"Okay, have you made any predictions?" Cho asked
"Yeah, some where nonsense others are were… we can't explain" Luna said
"What are some the Predictions you made?" Cho said interested
"Well, the prediction that Luna made for me is that I would help an injured Slytherin boy in a battle that would happen on the second day of the fifth month of the year 1998." Ginny said
"Wait a minute, I thought you hate the Slytherins Gin." Cho said puzzled
"No, not really there are some Slytherins that are my friends like Astoria Greengrass or Tori for short and Katrina Davis or Trina for short who are in me and Luna's year." Ginny told her.
"Okay, how come they won't join us in the Dumbledore's Army if there are you and Luna's friends?" Cho asked
"For two reasons one is that both Harry and Ron are very prejudice against the Slytherins because of Malfoy and two it's Malfoy again." Ginny said
"Right ugh I hate that sniveling daddy little's shit one time he kept hitting on me throughout the Quidditch match I had against him two years ago." Cho sneered
"Oh yeah I remember that you lost that match, didn't you?" Ginny asked
"Yeah, I did lose to that ferret it was the first game of that year and final score was 340- 160." Cho sighed
"Don't worry Cho you're going to kick his ass this time." Luna chimed in
"That's right Lu I'm going to kick his snobbish ass this time when we play in a month from now." Cho said
"Watch him cry and say, 'My father will hear about this Chang.' After you beat him in two weeks." Ginny said impersonating the Malfoy scion.
The three girls laughed at Ginny's impersonation loudly then Madam Pince tells them "Miss. Chang, Miss. Weasley, and Miss Lovegood tone it down or leave."
"Yes, Madam Pince." The three girls said in unison
"Anyway, want hear a prediction Cho? Luna offered
"Sure, why not I hope it's not meeting a Vampire that sparkles in the Forbidden Forest or some shit." Cho said
"What!?" Ginny said shocked
"Forget that Gin" Cho said brushing off that memory
Luna puts down the mini crystal ball on the table. Cho, Ginny, and Luna investigate the crystal ball as the fog clears up, they see Cho and Harry kissing passionately then a dark purple mist erupts from Harry's scar at same time Voldemort's rudimentary body was throbbing in pain along with his pet snake Nagini who also twitching in pain. While a battle at Hogwarts is happening. The girls were lost with words after seeing this vision. "What is this supposed to mean?" Cho said breaking the silence
"I don't know." Luna said, "You said that you are taking your time to get to know Harry more."
"Yes, I did say that to Harry when he told me about what happen to Cedric. I just can't fall in love with him or anyone else." Cho told Luna
"We know that Cho you don't want to start dating again worry about this will happen in the future if it really happens." Luna said
"Luna's right Cho besides it's not like you are going meet some in the Vampire that sparkles in the Forbidden Forest or something. Also, you and Harry would make an adorable couple." Ginny assured Cho
Cho blushes at the idea of being with Harry, just the thought of it is making her weak in the knees now, but she had to get back to reality and stick to her word of not dating anyone for a while especially what happened to Cedric eight months ago. Ginny and Luna laugh at Cho blushing, and she shot back "Oh can it you two." She laughs along with them until Ginny gets up from her seat and goes to Quidditch Practice for Gryffindor's next game against Hufflepuff next week. While Luna goes to the Ravenclaw Common Room leaving Cho alone to study.
20 minutes later, Harry shows up and for a moment the raven-haired teens felt a wave of warmth flowed through their bodies as they looked at each other. Harry takes his seat next to Cho speaks first "Hey Cho"
"Oh, hey Harry" Cho greeted back "How are you doing."
"I'm okay just got out of Divination Class going to study for my O.W.L.S for a bit before dinner." He replied, "How about you?"
"I'm good studying myself, Luna and Ginny were here, and we were talking that was it." Cho said
"Oh I see." Harry said
"How was Divination Class?" Cho questioned
"It was okay, but I saw something rather interesting in the crystal ball that I was working with in class." Harry answered
"Really what was it?" Cho asked inquisitively
"It was us kissing, a purple mist comes out of my scar and Voldemort along with his pet snake Nagini were withering in pain while a major battle at Hogwarts is going on." Harry told Cho
Cho's eyes widened she just had the seen the vision with Luna and Ginny she tells Harry about it as well and has the same reaction too. "Do you know what this means?" Harry asked.
"I have not the slightest clue, Harry." Cho said, "Could you imagine us kissing though."
"Yeah, us kissing" Harry said in disbelief as he thought about kissing his crush.
"Us kissing what was I even thinking." Cho said giving a slight giggle of thought of kissing Harry.
"I definitely wouldn't want to kiss you" Harry playfully pointed at her
"Oh, I didn't realize it was such a horrible option." Cho said trying to hide how hurt she felt then snaps at Harry "Sorry I suggested it."
"N-No No I mean if it was a choice between kissing you than of having a piece of Voldemort stuck inside of me forever." Harry said realizing what he said to Cho, but he made it worse as she scoffs at him. he then makes it even much worse by saying "What!? I'm saying that I would rather kiss you than die that's a complement."
Cho trembled in anger after hearing that shoots back at him with "Well I'm not sure what I'd rather do right now." she storms off out of the Library shedding some tears.
Harry sighs in defeat and mutters "Real smooth Harry real smooth you manage to revert the girl you like for two years from being a badass in the training sessions of the Dumbledore's Army to a human hosepipe again. what's wrong with you."
Standing by the corner of the library Cho was angry trying not to cry but what at Harry said to her made her tear up a bit. She took a deep breath and gone back to the table to pick up her books, not even looking at Harry before she leaves Harry calls her and says, "Wait Cho."
Cho stops turns around and replies coolly "What is it, Harry?"
"I didn't mean to say that okay." Harry apologized sincerely
"I know you didn't mean to say that, Harry. It was just an overreaction on my part because I'm falling in love with you, but I told myself to take it slow because after Cedric died." Cho said
"I'm aware of that Cho and whatever happens from now to that point in our lives we'll face it together." Harry told her as he looked into her Chocolate brown eyes.
Cho smiled and saw the reassurance in his bright green eyes and said, "You're right Harry whatever happens to us in from now until two years later I'm glad that it's you that I'm with.
"Yeah, me too Cho." Harry said he then looks at his watch and asks, "It's almost time for dinner want to have it at the at the Room of Requirement?"
Cho's stomach started to growl she said, "I could go for something to eat right now." she asks, "Is this your way of making up something that you broke?"
Harry replies "Is it working?."
"Let's find out for ourselves, shall we?" Cho said
Harry and Cho walked to the Room of Requirement for a private dinner away from everyone, once there Harry calls Dobby he appears to the Raven-Haired teens. Harry introduces the former Malfoy house-elf to Cho. She remembered about Harry telling her the story of how he and the former Malfoy House-elf met and eventually freed him with the greeting over, they went inside, Dobby began to work on preparing the meal for Harry and Cho which consist of Steak, Mashed Potatoes, and mixed vegetables.
After enjoying their meal Harry walks Cho to the Ravenclaw Common Room Entrance before Cho entered the room for tonight, she asks, "So you have to go to your remedial potions tonight with Snape?"
"Yeah, I do." Harry answered, "Why do you ask."
"I was just wondering is anything I could help you with?" She asked
"Not really Cho." Harry said as he doesn't want anyone other than Ron and Hermione to know about his Occlumency lessons with the Potions Master
"Oh, okay" She sighed Cho then tells him what ought to hear "If anything happens to you just remember it's all in your head."
"Thanks Cho I'll keep that in mind." Harry said thanking Cho for the advice.
"You're welcome, Harry I remember to say that when I have bad dreams because my dad told me to say it whenever I have a nightmare when I was little." Cho said
"Really, he said that to you?" Harry asked
"Yes, he did Harry, I remember my father telling me that he had bad dreams as well." Cho replies
"About him being in the Vietnam War, right?" Harry asked
"That's right that war really messed him and everyone up that participated in it." Cho answered
"Oh, I see anyway I must go see Snape now see you later" Harry said as he starts to walk away.
"Wait Harry." Cho said
"Yes Cho? Harry said as he stopped walking and turn around to face Cho.
Cho walks up to him and plants a kiss on his cheek and says, "Thanks for dinner and good luck with Snape tonight."
Harry stood there with his beet red, his heart pounding and a knot in his pants as he looks at Cho's nicely rounded rear-end swaying side to side as she was walked back to the Ravenclaw Common Room. With Cho in her common room, Harry goes to the Potion room occlumency lessons.
An hour into the Occlumency Lesson, Snape bombards Harry's mind again with everything he experienced once more. As the mental assault intensifies, Harry begins to remember what Cho had said to him and repeats it "It all in my head, it's all in my head." He successfully blocks the memory.
Snape looks very pleased in Harry's progress in controlling one's mind "Well done Potter"
Harry pants then wipes the sweat of his brow and says, "Thanks Professor." He asks, "Before Chuya came to Hogwarts last week you going to tell me about what happened 20 years ago between you and my father."
"Oh that" Snape replied remembering that day
He took a deep breath and thought could he really tell the son of the man who made his life a living hell when they went to school 20 years ago. Especially that day of his fifth year which was the absolute worse for the Potions Master. Snape looks at Harry sees not only James but Lily the girl that was his light in the surrounding darkness.
"Professor is everything okay?" Harry said breaking Snape out of his Trance.
"I'm fine I just need-"
"If you really don't want to talk about then that's fine, we'll talk about some other time when you are ready." Harry told him
"I'm not ready." Snape said nodding his head
"Okay," Harry said he then assures Snape "Don't worry I've been down that road myself as well."
"Yeah, like you didn't want to talk to Ms. Chang about what happened to her lover Mr. Diggory last year." Snape said
"Yep, I didn't want to talk about it at first because I wasn't shown any comfort when I was living with the Dursleys." Harry said
"Of course, you were raised by that miserable bint Petunia and that fat walrus Vernon who showed nothing but the cold shoulder while they spoil their son. Snape sneered
"Wait you know my Aunt Petunia as well" Harry said realizing that there is more to Snape than meets the eye.
"Don't worry I'll talk about your father and that disgusting beanpole of an aunt when I'm ready to talk about it." Snape assured Harry.
"Okay then I'll see you later and goodnight, Professor." Harry said leaving the Potion's Classroom."
"Goodnight Harry." Snape said.
