Justice Across Space and Time
Chapter 35
This time it will be more of the set up and the start of the fight with AFO. I don't know how many people are actually reading this (not a lot of reviews), but I hope I can convey the fight and some of the drama well enough for you who do like this. On with the show.

Izuku and Saphentite were staring down the black masked man, while Kazuhiko had managed to get away after his redirect. "Now then, allow me to introduce myself heroes. I am All For One. And this will be your grave." The villain says with a calm cordial tone. Izuku knew about this enemy from his conversations with All Might and with the power of OFA itself. 'Wasn't expecting to fight or have to deal with this monster so soon. Can I even handle him?' Izuku questions while powering up. Saphentite meanwhile prepares a few spells quietly and quickly.
Right as they are sure the man is going to attack, Kurogiri's gates open behind AFO. And he drops down all of the members of the League of Villains and the Forgotten. "Sensei." Tomura says with strain. This gets the two UA students' eyes wide, as they put together what Tomura truly represents. With a sigh, AFO notes that Tomura had been caught off guard at the bar. "Then again, I don't have much room to talk. Considering these three surprised me and saved all of the heroes from my attack."
Tomura and Natalie look over and see the squad of heroes and the trio of students who stopped them from killing the pros at the camp. "Well this could be a problem. Sure we might be able to do some damage, but how many of us would they take down before that." Dabi questions while scratching at his stitched skin. AFO agrees with the young pyromaniac. Before saying, "But we can still do damage by killing a few heroes and these students."
"Not happening. At least not right now. We need these true metas alive." Natalie says while glaring at AFO. The man tilts his head in confusion before clapping his fist into his palm. "Of course! You're looking to recruit them. A wise move, and it is not as though they may not have a reason. But you can't convert them as you are. You'll need-" Right as AFO is about to start an explanation, Mt Lady comes in and swats the masked villain into the sky.
Tomura is furious and screams at the hero. As he is about to charge, Luiz grabs his shoulder and throws the boy back. "She's MINE!" He shouts as he grows as well before punching the heroine across the face. Mt Lady stumbles back from and falls through a building. "Okay that's not good!" the gigantification hero says with a shake of her head. She attacks Luiz with a punch of her own, but the man dodges in a way no quirk can. Right before she would impact, Luiz shrunk down slightly. Her blow completely missing his head, while also leaving her stomach open to attack.
Luiz attacked that spot with a punch before quick growing up into an uppercut to the hero's jaw. While she was dazed, the man adjusted his size again before putting Mt Lady into an arm bar hold. The hero was screaming as she could feel the pressure from the attack growing more intense. And with a sickening pop, Luiz Lima dislocated the giant woman's shoulder.
While this was happening, Ray and Emma tried to tag team and capture Izuku and Kazuhiko. Best Jeanist had taken the distraction to try and restrain the rest of the villains. Tomura was about to lash out at everything again until Natalie placated Tomura. "Look you need what help you can get right now. Your teacher will be back soon enough, and he can finish these fools off. You on the other hand cannot be here. And frankly neither should I. We have to lead our teams, and we can't do that from a cell in Tartarus. I'll make an opening."
"Won't be that easy girl." Suddenly, all of the League and Forgotten not fighting are struck from the side by Toga's gear. With Dabi, Twice, Psych Link, Tomura, and Natalie knocked out. "Himeko!? You betrayed us!?" Magne shouts. But her next claims are stopped when she notices that the slasher girl was just as shocked as they were. A hand appears from the gear and grabs the front of Toga's uniform before throwing her to the ground and detaching her support items.
All of the villains are confused, and a section of the syringes and tubes comes off of the equipment. And reforms into Nobasu. "You didn't see that coming." The man says with a smirk. Magne is furious and gets next to Toga to use her quirk on the man. "Let's see how you like it!" she shouts as she pulls Nobasu to the two women. Nobasu flinches at first, but he quickly sees how he can turn this around.
Toga had drawn her knives and Magne is about to bludgeon the man with her magnet. Right as the two attack though, Nobasu seems to pull apart and wrap himself around the weapons that were about to hit him. As well as binding the two villains in his elastic body. "What the?" Toga shouts as she tries to use her knives to even scratch the hero. "Won't work. I'm not a quirked hero, and my power isn't that limited. I can reformat my body almost anyway I want." Nobasu says with a smile as he uses his body to bind the villains more.
Izuku though is struggling to keep away from Ray. 'He must have a range. Otherwise, he would have drained my stamina or energy like did before. In that case.' Izuku uses a few Deleware Smashes at 20%, before trying to knock the villain away with a Las Vegas Smash. But Ray is quite nimble, leaping around the debris from AFO's initial attack. 'Damnit! I can't get close enough to drain him. The energy I took from him before was a kind I don't know so I can't use it. So far all it's done is boost my speed, endurance, and little bit of my strength.' While Ray can't use air bullets of any kind, he is quick to pick up rocks and chuck them to distract of attack Izuku.
Kazuhiko on the other hand is focused on keeping Emma's attacks from going in all kinds of directions. "Why do you defend these animals? What have they done for you!?" Emma asks the young true meta after he pulverized another boulder that could have hit an apartment with people in it. "Just because they've hurt me doesn't mean I should hurt them back! The more both sides take from each other, the less there is! I could hate them all I want but it won't change what has already happened!" Kazuhiko shouts before trying to channel his radio waves into his hands.
While he is fighting though, he notices something unsettling. 'I thought it was just a radio or something in the building earlier. But no. All of those monsters are letting out radio waves. As is one other.' While Kazuhiko is thinking about this, Emma decides to break down a few more buildings nearby for debris. But she is stopped for a moment by Best Jeanist. He had slipped away with Gang Orca to wait for an opportunity. The latter of whom moves as fast as he can to use his ultrasonics on the woman.
The attack paralyzes her, but Orca can't relax fully. While she can't move much, Emma still has enough movement and control to make stone blades to swing and distract with her geo-kinesis. Right as the two pros are about to try a new tactic, Ray comes in and knocks Orca over the head with a punch. He picks up his sister and leaps back to Sosaku and the rest near the original warehouse.
"I must say, all of you have been exceptional. I didn't expect the heroes to be able to keep up with so many true metas. Let alone the true metas doing the damage they have. Now then." AFO says as he calmly floats closer to the ground with Air Walk. He then points a few fingers at Nobasu and unleashes a concentrated blast of air between Toga and Magne. The shapeshifting meta shouts in a bit of pain, losing some of his grip on the two women. Suddenly, Luiz reaches down and pulls the two villains apart. With Nobasu still wrapped around him.
The parts of Nobasu slide off of the villains, while Luiz shrinks down to normal size. "Well done, Lima-san. You are quite the powerhouse. But we have a different issue." AFO says. Suddenly, All Might barrels in and attacks AFO. The villain absorbs part of the hit before rebounding it back at All Might. When AFO comments on how long it took the man to get there, Psyche Link speaks up. "Before we warped away, I poked into his head. Couldn't get deep, but I could mess with his head enough to where he and the rest would be going in circles for a while."
AFO is impressed by all sides again. Commenting, "which is why they had that shapeshifter attach to Toga. Keep a strong ally close to capture or buy time for the others to arrive." "Meanwhile you were knocked away it seems. Otherwise, you would have already finished this fight. You've gotten quite a bit weaker. Now it is time to stop you and take back….." All Might starts but then he sees Izuku and Saphentite helping a few of the heroes up. With that distraction, AFO force activates Kurogiri's quirk and tells the rest to get away. Before any of them can argue, Luiz grabs most of them in expanded limbs and drops them into the portal.
AFO then uses his Air cannon to blast All Might and through a few buildings. "That won't stop him for long. But it will give me enough time to-" AFO starts, but suddenly he is Detroit Smashed in the face by Izuku. It is nowhere near All Might's level, but it does break part of his life support mask and send the man up into the air again.
And right into Kazuhiko. Who uses his speed and the ambient EM waves to propel himself at the man before unleashing his best blast with his wave cannon hand. Saphentite meanwhile had slipped away from the battle to set up some special spells and help Mt Lady. And now was the time to use one of them. "Izuku! We need to get clear! We got Jotaro back that's all that matters! Leave this to All Might!" Izuku nods before using Black whip to grab some of the other pros and Nobasu's remains.
AFO emerges from the crater Kazuhiko knocked him into and takes aim with an Air cannon. But Saphentite's spell was a portal one. Allowing her to remove themselves from the battlefield. One that All Might had just returned to. He quickly engages and starts to overwhelm his greatest rival. 'I really can't thank John and Sahirah enough. This would be infinitely more difficult if they hadn't healed me. Now I can try to finish this.' AFO meanwhile is angered and annoyed by the outcomes so far. "I had only planned to save Tomura. And while I want to defeat you, it will be of greater difficulty than I would like. So why don't I just break as much as I can!"
AFO then unleashes a blast wave toward the ground while still walking on the air. But All Might easily counters this with his own Detroit Smash. The hero then leaps up and punches the villain as hard as he can in the face. "You won't be getting away this time!" All Might shouts and AFO impacts the ground. The villain knows that All Might is holding back to keep the civilians safe. 'But I barely have enough time to blast anything else around me. And with the other heroes away, I can't use one of them to distract him!'
Before All Might can strike again, the villain decides to try to mess with his old enemy's head. Namely by bringing up that Tomura is none other than his predecessor's grandson. This makes All Might freeze as he thinks of what happened to the boy. This give AFO enough time to blast the hero back and take to the air again. "That's right. I found and raised the perfect successor of my own. The grandson of the hero you modeled your ideals after." AFO taunts with a twisted smile on his face. Then taunting how weak his teacher was and how easily she fell to him.
But that last comment incises All Might and he rushes AFO with a powerful punch to the villain's stomach. Before he is attacked again, AFO takes aim at a media helicopter to distract All Might. While he doesn't get a perfect shot, as All Might had grabbed the man's arm, it is enough to throw the pilot off and nearly spiraling into a building. All Might breaks off his attack to make sure that they don't crash before ordering them away from the battlefield.
Around the nation, all people are glued to their screens as the battle between the symbols of peace and evil battle it out in Kamino ward. "I despise you; you know that. You destroyed everything I built. Everything I had gained over the centuries. You tore it and my allies down one after another. Now Tomura has this chance to do even more damage. Especially thanks to the Forgotten. But you still stand in mine and his way."
AFO then uses a pair of powers he rarely thought he would. He first creates a large flash of light which blinds and disorients All Might for a moment. He then creates a massive dust cloud to further impede the hero's vision. "Just a few seconds." AFO says to himself as he gathers as much power as he can with Air cannon, Springlike limbs, and Radio waves. And then blasts toward the ground. The shockwave radiates across the whole ward. Causing massive damage and trapping many civilians.
In one of the alleys near the warehouse, Itsuka was resting from trying to drag the half conscious Jotaro away from the battlefield. "Man. He's too big! That or I just need to work out a bit more." Itsuka thinks while sitting down. She could hear some of the start to the battle and how it continued on, but she was focused on the fact that she had a job to do. Besides, she couldn't be one of the students fighting. "It sucks but I can't take advantage of the same liberties they all can. Well back to it then."
Right as she was pulling Jotaro over her shoulder again, AFO unleashed his attack. The shockwave knocked the pair down again with Jotaro slowly starting to stir. Itsuka though was focused on a different danger. The attack damaged parts of the building and it was now falling towards the two of them. Without hesitating, Itsuka expanded her hands to their maximum. And used them to cover both herself and Jotaro.
She held the debris and other parts of the building up as long as she could. At least until she felt the pieces start to settle. Though she had other worries. Right as some of the debris came down on Jotaro, he was stirring more and more. But he wasn't coming out of his daze. "Cough! What do I do now? He's maybe the only one who could get us out but he's completely out of it. I need something to shock him or…" Itsuka thinks out loud while coughing from the exertion.
She then thinks a bit more about what she just said. She blushes before realizing there is a way to shock Jotaro. She crawls over to the teen who had been her savior, friend, and trainer. And with a raspy breath, she kisses him. Jotaro had been breaking out of his mental block, but this was enough of a snap to his senses that he quickly wraps his arms around Itsuka. And reciprocates the kiss.
But in his hands and in the corner of his lips, he knows something is wrong. "Itsuka. Itsuka!" Jotaro says in a panicked voice. The girl coughs again with a bit more blood coming out of her mouth than before. While she had managed to stop most of the debris, parts of it pierced through her hands and into her back and chest. "What were you thinking!? I'm invulnerable remember?!" "I don't know. My legs and arms just started moving on their own. Cough! Cough! Same for what I just did."
Before Jotaro can really ask why she did what she did, Itsuka answered for him. "I've like you for a while Jotaro, but I wasn't really sure how much. But after you got taken… and I wasn't even able to help you because I had a different battle to fight….. I couldn't just wait and hope that the rest would save you. This time….. I wanted to be the one who saved you." Itsuka smile up at Jotaro as he cradles her. He asks for her to stay strong, but she just says she was glad to have met him before closing her eyes with a smile. Jotaro grips her tight to his body before roaring in anger. And blasting away all the debris with a move.
As the smoke was clearing from the attack, All Might was shocked at the devastation AFO just unleashed. The villain then aims at his nemesis with another powered up Air cannon. The hero is about to leap to the side when he notices that there are trapped civilians behind him. So instead, he intercepts the hit. "Damnit! You are still standing! You should be running out of time! You should be BROKEN!" "If you think I'm going to back down that easily AFO, you are sadly mistaken." All Might says with a flash of his eyes.
Though internally, All Might knows that OFA itself is running out of time. 'I can still finish this fight. But it may take more than I thought.' While All Might is pondering, AFO charges two more Air cannons. This time with Radio waves mixed in for more damage. All Might prepares to intercept them again, until he notices that there are two attacks.
Suddenly though, his shoulder is grabbed, and he is pulled back. And in front of him is someone new. One who proceeds to counter both shots with a double fist strike. This new person shocks AFO, as well as the people watching the battle on the news.
The man stands tall, almost equal to All Might in stature. He has a blue full body suit with yellow lines outlining a downward facing sword on his chest. From his back is a cape that appears slightly tattered, but none the less imposing. Around his waist is a belt with two crossed swords on it, and he is wearing boots that seem to have wings of some kind from the back. But the man's face cannot be seen. As his suit has a mask completely covers his face, though the eyes seen appear to have a glowing glare to them.
"I'll take some of the weight off." The man says with an imposing voice that radiates with All Might and the civilians. He steps forward and floats up to fly equal with AFO. "Now what? Some new-" the villain starts to say before getting punched again. Before he flies too far from the impact, the man is already behind him and kicks the villain back towards the main battlefield. AFO crashes through a few buildings before the blue man uppercuts the villain into the sky. He quickly gets above his quarry and double hammer fist slams the man into the ground. Leaving a large crater.
"Who are you?" AFO says trying to shake off the hits he just took from this new hero or vigilante. He cycles a few of the healing or recovery quirks he had stolen before trying to stand. The man just floats down before saying, "you have been facing the symbol of peace so far. Now. You face Judgement."
So I don't know if anyone is big on some of the bit just added, but I do have to wonder….. should I let Itsuka die or have her saved? Well you'll find out next chapter. Which might be sooner Please review
