Chapter 15

Six weeks later, the Quibbler has published the interview that Harry had with Rita Skeeter at the Three Broomsticks titled, HARRY POTTER SPEAKS OUT: THE TRUTH ABOUT HE-WHO-MUST-NOT-BE-NAMED AND THE NIGHT, I SAW HIM RETURN. As Harry walks into the Great Hall for breakfast he sees the teachers, the Gryffindors, Hufflepuffs, Ravenclaws, and even some Slytherins gave him a smile for speaking up about the events that happened last year.

In Herbology, Professor Sprout gave Harry 20 Points for giving her a watering can as the morning progresses two Slytherins fourth years Astoria Greengrass and her best friend Katrina Davis gave Harry some mars bars on his way to Potions. In Potions, Snape gives Harry 10 points despite Harry's station being a complete mess. Before he even starts to clean up Daphne his potion partner tells him that she would stay behind and clean up while he leaves with other students.

While Harry was walking to the Great Hall for lunch a couple of third year Ravenclaws approached him and said thanks for telling the truth about what happened last year as well as telling him that they will join the Dumbledore's Army. Harry felt appreciated for telling the truth from everybody especially the Slytherins. He thought they would always listen to his rival Malfoy but that's not the case now.

After Lunch, Harry another group of students gave him some more praise as he goes to Charms class. With the class now concluding, Flitwick gives Harry a box of Sugar Mice and says "Shhh". So far, a lot of students and teachers are giving their gratitude to Harry despite Educational Decree number Twenty-Six being up on the Great Hall entrance wall with the other Pointless Decrees.

In the middle of Umbridge's class Filch brings in the letters that people written to Harry that have read the Quibbler article about Harry telling the truth about the events year. Umbridge was furious about this and asks, "Mr. Potter where have these letters come from?"

"Those letters? I guess they were from people that written to me about the Interview about what happened last June." Harry replied.

"Interview!? What Interview? When did you had this interview?" Asked Umbridge inquisitively.

"The Interview I had was six weeks ago at Hogsmeade for the Quibbler." Replied Harry

"There will be no more Hogsmeade trip for you also you will have detention with me tomorrow Mr. Potter." Said Umbridge

Harry shrugs "Fine by me"

With Ancient Runes now done, Cho reaches the Owlery, lately Cho has been using it to get away from the loud noise of students passing through the halls. Today is a perfect day to be outside with mild winds good weather for Quidditch or casually flying on broom. She sees Harry in the Owlery as well and taps him on the shoulder, he turns around says "Oh, hey." They gave each other a hug "How are you? How's class?"

"It was good." Cho replied, "How was your day, Harry?"

"Well, a lot of people gave me a lot of praise for that interview I had before you and I had our date."

"Okay, what else?"

"Umbridge gave me detention and I can't go to Hogsmeade anymore because of that."

"Ugh, Typical." Cho said rolling her eyes.

"Yeah, tell me about it, but whatever I'm not scared of Umbridge, I have faced things that are worse than her." Harry said.

"I know you have and Harry, you are the most selfless and nicest person I ever met despite what Umbitch, Fatty Fudge, and that Slandering Gnat say about." She said sympathetically.

"Yeah, I have faced monsters both in human form and beast, but sometimes I don't want to fight anything anymore. I just want a normal life with a family like you, Ron, and Hermione before this war even started."

"You going to have a real family with Sirius." Cho said.

"I am going to have a real family that I never had, but the damage has been done due to my Aunt Petunia and Uncle Vernon." Harry sighed.

Cho was shocked to hear about Harry being abused she held his hand and asked, "What wait you have been abused by your aunt and uncle?"

"Yeah all because of my aunt being jealous of my mum when they were young." Harry told her.

"Wow I never knew you were abuse by your relatives Harry." Said Cho

"It's okay I never wanted to tell anyone else other than Ron, Hermione and Sirius." Said Harry

"I see." Said Cho, "You know what something?

"What is it?" asked Harry.

"I didn't want to be popular." Answered Cho

"Really wow I didn't know that. said Harry. "You seemed so happy with a lot of friends."

"I did at one point, but they only liked me because I had everything looks, talent was Cedric's death they left me after I was depressed and having mood swing last year and Probably Marietta left me too."

"Some friends they turned out to be." said Harry smugly. "At least you got Padma and Michael."

"Yep, thank merlin for that." Said Cho

"You know what we have that in common." Harry asked.

"That, you and I both hate our fame." Said Cho

"Yep, that's true. So, what should call our relationship?"

"Maybe the H.M.S Celebrity" Cho giggled.

"Yeah, two Celebrities that hate their fame, and can't go anywhere without making the front page of the Daily Prophet." Said Harry

Both Harry and Cho laughed at what he said then Cho adds, "Famous Auror Harry potter was caught eating at the Three Broomsticks with former Tutshill Tornadoes seeker and head of the Department of international Magical Cooperation Cho Chang."

The two raven-haired teens burst out laughing at their fame, Harry stops laughing for a second and hears Cho's laugh which sounded like a siren's song to him. He says, "Wow, I never heard you or see you laugh like that it sounded beautiful."

Cho stops laughing and blushes, "R-really Harry."

"Yeah, like I said it sounded great."

"Oh thanks." Cho said blushing even more "No one has ever said that about my laugh."

"Well, you're welcome." Harry replied giving Cho a lopsided grin which made her blushed even harder.

"I never seen you smile like that before." Cho said.

"Really?" Harry asked.

"Yeah, it's the first of everything don't you think."

"Kind of" Harry chuckled.

Harry and Cho enjoy each other's company once again at the Owlery until the sun starts to set. As they left the Owlery, Snape appears out of a dark corner listened to the whole conversation he mutters, "Potter didn't I tell you to let miss. Chang go."

While heading back inside to the Great Hall for dinner, Harry and Cho stopped and see a lot of students gathered by the entrance of the Great Hall where Filch was putting up a new Educational Decree With the other pointless ones which reads:
BY THE ORDER OF THE HIGH INQUISITOR
DELORES J. UMBRIDGE

EDUCATIONAL DECREE NUMBER TWENTY-SEVEN IS NOW IN EFFECT IN WHICH ANY STUDENT CAUGHT IN POSSESION OF THE MAGAZINE THE QUIBBLER WILL BE EXPELLED.

"Ugh Can you believe this?" a student groaned.

"Now I got to cancel my subscription," said another student.

While the other students head inside, Harry and Cho stood there and looked at the new Educational Decree Harry says, "I feel like I'm in the 1984 film or in a Nazi-occupied country."

"Same here I've seen that film before it was based off the novel by George Orwell, right?" Cho replied.

"Yeah, I like said on the Owlery Umbridge can do whatever to me one thing is that I'm not let her turn this school into some dystopia that George Orwell written about." Harry told Cho.

"I'm with you on that Harry." Cho said.

"I know you are as well as Ron. Hermione, Ginny and the others and I'm grateful for that."

"I'm glad to hear that." Cho smiled.

Harry and Cho gave each other a hug then gone inside the Great Hall and sat down with their friends for dinner.

In the Gryffindor Common Room as Harry and Ron were walking upstairs to the 5th year Gryffindor boy's dormitory and they heard "Hey Harry."

They both turned around and it was Seamus Harry asks, "What's up Seamus."

"I want to apologize about what I said that you were lying about what happened last year when that was not the case. After I read the article of the Interview on the Quibbler" Seamus answered

"Okay I accept your apology Seamus I know that everyone was scared at that time and didn't know who to believe." Said Harry

"Yeah, it was, and I sent a copy of the Quibbler to my mum before that toad put down that useless educational decree." Seamus told Harry he then asks, "I was wondering when the next Dumbledore's Army lesson?"

"It's the day after right after we come back from easter holiday why do ask?" Asked Harry

"I want in, and I want to learn that kung-fu your girlfriend Chang has been teaching you guys." Replied Seamus

"Alright just show up." Said Harry

Harry and Ron shook hands with Seamus and went into the 5th year Gryffindor boy's dormitory for much needed rest.

The next day in the Quidditch Locker room Rodger Davies gives a last-minute pep talk to Cho and his other teammates before the game with Slytherin starts. When it was over everyone grabbed their brooms and started to walk to the tunnel. "Hey Cho, can I talk to you for a few seconds?" Asked Rodger

Cho turns around and responds with, "What is it, Rodger?"

"I want to say that I'm sorry about asking out last month I thought that Cedric was dead, you and Potter were not dating as well when he told you what happened that night of the Third Task of the Triwizard Tournament. So, I thought that you and I could rekindle our relationship that we had three years ago but you didn't want to because you needed time to heal after losing Cedric." Rodger apologized sincerely.

"Okay, I accept your apology Rodger, but we have a quidditch match to get to. We'll talk later Captain." Cho said grabbing her broom.

"You're right Cho let's go" Rodger said as he grabbed his broom.

Cho, Rodger, and the rest of the team fly out of the tunnel along with the Slytherin team in the middle of the quidditch pitch. In the Quidditch Commentator Box Lee Jordan speaks through the microphone a fourth time "Alright Ladies and Gents welcome to the fourth quidditch match of the year Ravenclaw versus Slytherin." The crowds erupt with cheers after the announcement.

Madam Hooch stands in the middle of the Quidditch Pitch and addresses that she wants a clean match. She opens the chest of the Quidditch balls the Buldgers and the Golden Snitch fly out of their containments also at the same time Madam Hooch throws the Quaffle in the air and game begins.

Out of the Blue and Green chaser frenzy, Rodger was able to have the Quaffle in his possession he throws to Bradley who then throws it to Chambers after deflecting Bludger coming at him by performing an aileron roll. Chambers throws the Quaffle into the hoop.

Lee shouts "CHAMBERS HAS SCORED RAVENCLAW LEADS BY 10-0!" The Ravenclaws cheers as the Slytherins groan.

Bletchley Picks up the Quaffle passes it to Montague, he dodges Bradley and does a split-s to get away from Rodger and Chambers hot on his tail, his Nimbus 2001 responds to maneuver. Now on the deck he spots Pucey and throws the Quaffle to Pucey, then passes to Warrington, he throws the Quaffle back to Montague.

They fly in a V-shaped formation toward the Ravenclaw's side barrel roll to avoid the opposing Beaters Marcus O' Connor and Daniel Miller. Montague passes the Quaffle to Pucey who once more to passes to Warrington and he throws it into the hoop right before Richard Wilson the Ravenclaw keeper had to time to react.

Lee shouts "SLYTHERIN TIES THE SCORE 10-10!"

The Slytherins erupt with cheers as the Ravenclaws groan in shame.

From above the Quidditch Pitch, Cho scans the area for the fluttering golden ball, she spots the snitch and dives for it. Malfoy follows her and flies next to her and asked, "So Chang how about you and I go to the Three Broomsticks after the match since Potter can't go to Hogsmeade anymore."

Annoyed by this Cho snaps and says, "Going to Hogsmeade with you is the last thing on my mind you inbred foul git."

Cho speeds past Malfoy but he follows her like Cheetah on a Gazelle. The two seekers ignore the play-by-play by Lee as they follow the Snitch.

The score is now 180-160 with Slytherin up ahead by 20 points. It's looking desperate for the Ravenclaws if they don't get up to 300 points, they won't play Gryffindor in the final which on June 1st.

Cho follows the snitch into the bleachers clutching on to her Comet 260 avoiding the wooden panels. She looks behind her and sees Crabbe and Goyle diving on her and ready to hit her. She knows that this is Malfoy's plan while she deals with his goons all Malfoy must do locate the snitch and catch it which is not going to happen. She does sharp turn left turn her Comet 260 respond well to the maneuver causing Crabbe to overshoot. She levels out and flies into the Chaser frenzy, buzzes past Montague who drops the Quaffle, Goyle is in front of her and smacks the Bludger right at her and the only thing Cho could do is duck.

With his plan failing, Malfoy dives down on Cho's tail, Cho turns her head and smiles at Malfoy. She mutters "that's its Ferret Boy keep following me." She climbs up high Malfoy follows and does vertical scissors to keep up with Cho since the Nimbus 2001 can't climb as good as the Comet 260. The Asian Ravenclaw reaches high above the Quidditch Stadium she then dives like a roller coaster her Comet 260 exceeds 100 miles per hour the crowd watches with astonishment.
Malfoy dives with her thinking that she has seen the snitch, but he crashes into the ground. With no one left to follow her Cho catches the Snitch with ease.

Lee shouts "CHANG HAS CAUGHT THE SNITCH RAVENCLAW WINS 310-180!"

The Ravenclaws cheered so did the Gryffindors and the Hufflepuffs, Cho shrieks with joy as she has the Snitch in her hand. She does a couple of barrel rolls for the crowd before the rest of her teammates joined with her and cheered like it was no tomorrow. Malfoy gets up and limps out of the Quidditch stadium along with the other Slytherins slinking away in defeat.

"That bloody brilliant using the Wronski Feint Cho" Ginny said as she, Hermione, Luna, Padma, Michael, and Ron walked to the Quidditch Pitch.

"You and Davies flew circles around them Cho." Said Ron

"Oh yeah I did." Cho said.

"Now it us versus Gryffindor on the first day of June and the Quidditch cup will be ours." Said Michael

"Who said it be yours Corner?" Ginny asked sarcastically.

"Just you watch Ginny Cho is going to be pulling off so many tricks that'll curl your toes." Michael said.

"Okay Mike chill it's just a game Ginny and I would play just as good, and it would better for either one of us to win the Quidditch Cup than Malfoy." Cho said quelling the argument.

"Alright." Michael shrugged.

An hour later in the Ravenclaw Common Room, the Ravenclaw celebrated over their victory against Slytherin with the music playing loudly, rows of butterbeer bottles, mounds of cake and other snack courtesy of the House-Elves. Rodger turns off the music and everyone stops what they are doing as they listen to Rodger "I never thought in million years that we would get this far in Quidditch usually the schedule would change so that Slytherin and Gryffindor can have their little grudge match or something." Rodger continued "However, I would like to say thank you team none of this would have been possible without you guys." Rodger said to Chambers, Bradley, O'Connor, Miller, and Wilson as they nodded their heads and then Rodger turns to Cho and says, "Cho I know that you lost Cedric last year despite him playing for another team but the way you came is incredible."

"Thanks Rodger, I never thought you say that about me." Cho said.

"Believe me Cho you are stronger than you think." Rodger said.

"You are Cho and not you are not made of glass, nor you are not made from metal. You are a human being like the rest of us." Padma told Cho

"Thanks, Luna, for that." Cho said.

"So, another toast to Cho" Michael said raising his bottle of butterbeer.

"To Cho." all the Ravenclaws said in unison their bottles.

At this moment in her life Cho had been this happy since Cedric's death "Well thank you guys' now Rodger could you turn on the tunes again."

Rodger turns the music back on the Ravenclaws return to partying throughout the day.
