Chapter 16
It was calm and sunny Friday morning, at Hogsmeade Station as students begin to get on the train for easter holiday. Harry was so excited to see Sirius again and live with him like he should have fifteen years ago. In addition to living with Sirius, he is going to have dinner with Cho and her family on Easter Sunday "Could it get any better than this?" Harry muttered as he boards the Hogwarts Express.
Eight hours later, the Hogwarts Express stops at King's Cross Station, Harry gets off the train, he says goodbye to Ron, Hermione, and Cho who they go to join their families. As he walks through the crowd of students who were leaving for home, he spots Sirius who was waiting for him as well as Remus Harry walks over to them and gives them a hug then Sirius says, "Let's go home." They walk out of Platform Nine and Three Quarters then out of King's Cross and apparated to Sirius' flat.
Both Harry and Sirius enter the flat, Harry looks around and it looks like the Gryffindor Common Room Sirius then shows Harry's room and Harry lets Hedwig out of her cage and she flies to the perch which is located on the other side of Harry's desk. Harry sits down on the chair and says to Hedwig "We did it girl we have a home now."
Sirius comes in the Room and asks, "Do like it?"
"I do." Harry replies with a smile then asks, "What about 12 Grimmuald Place?"
"Oh, that Place is still the Order Headquarters and of course Buckbeak is back with Hagrid." Sirius said.
"Okay. Then who is the secret keeper to this house?" Harry asked.
"That would be me and Remus." Sirius replied with a sigh, "I knew I should have suggested that your mother and father be the secret keepers all those years ago instead of that loathsome vermin Wormtail we wouldn't be in this mess."
"It's okay we will make it work, You, me, and Remus. I know you should have told them but let's move on from the past and live that's what my parents would have wanted for you, me, and Remus." Harry assured him.
"Yeah, you're right Harry we have to keep moving on no need dwell on the past." Sirius said he then gives Harry another hug before leaving the room he asks his godson. "What do you want for dinner Chinese?"
Harry chuckled "Nah Chicken with rice and peas would be nice."
"Yeah, I was thinking of having that too." Sirius said walking away to the kitchen.
Next Saturday, at Cho's house Cho and Chuya were sparing in the training room, Cho does a front kick but Chuya counters with a rear horse kick to her daughter's stomach. Cho clutches her stomach then tries to do a roundhouse kick to Chuya's temple, her mother dodges it and does a sweep kick and Cho falls to the ground.
"Is that all you got?" Chuya taunted.
Cho gets back up and does a punch combination, but her mother blocked every one of them and taunted her daughter again with, "Try hitting me for once."
Once again Cho does another punch combination once more Chuya dodges then grabs Cho's arm and twists it, places two fingers at the back of her daughter's head and says, "This would leave you not functioning anymore if I were a Death Eater you would already be dead.
She lets Cho go then both mother and daughter stare at each other for a moment then Cho rushes forward, but Chuya grabs her arm and hits Cho with elbow sending her flying into the ground.
"I think we can call off for a day." Chuya said as wipes the sweat off her brow then asks, "Are you okay?"
"Yeah, I'm okay." Said Cho getting up "Kind of miss our mummy and daughter sparring sessions."
"Me too especially when we have to be prepared for the battles that would come in this war." Said Chuya.
"I know we have to prepare despite what the Ministry says that nothing is going on and calling Harry crazy for speaking out." Said Cho then asks, "Are you mad at me for joining Harry's Army?"
"I was at first like any wizarding parent who wants to keep their jobs at the Ministry, but when Harry told you then you told me about what happened last year something within me sparked." Chuya answers
"Same thing happened to me as well people especially my so-called bestie Edgecombe thought I was not going to fight Voldemort and his forces after Cedric was killed." Said Cho "When Harry told me what happened that day that makes me want to be on Harry's side even more."
Chuya smiles at her daughter's growth and says, "I can't be any prouder of you princess. Do you want to go another round?"
"Yeah, let's go again Mum." Said Cho getting back into her fighting stance and goes back another.
In the afternoon, at the Shopping Centre, Sirius, Harry, and Remus are on their way to the clothing store for the Easter dinner with Cho and her family.
"Seriously do we have to shopping for clothes." Groaned Remus
"Yes, Moony we can't have you looking like you got clothes from Salvation Army especially you got a lady friend to impress." Said Sirius
"Who's the lady friend Remus?" Asked Harry
"You don't need to know." Said Remus
"Come on Moony don't be like that I know you like my first Cousin once removed." Said Sirius
"You like Tonks Remus? Asked Harry
"Yes, I do Harry." Said Remus in defeat "She is coming with us to Chuya's house."
"Really." Said Harry
They reached the clothing store and start to pick out what they are going to wear for the dinner party at Cho's house tomorrow. As Harry, Sirius, and Remus exit the clothing store they see Neville and his grandmother Augusta leaving St. Mungo's Hospital.
"Hey Neville" Greeted Harry
"Oh, hello Harry Professor Lupin, and Mr. Black," said Neville.
"Now now Mr. Longbottom you know that I'm not your professor anymore." Said Remus
"Mr. Black is way too formal for me." Sirius chimed in "Just call me Sirius Neville."
"I wish you were our professor again instead of that pink nightmare we have at the school." Replied Neville
"Don't worry Neville we only have two more months with that disgusting woman." Assured Harry
"That's true anyway, what brings you three here?"
"Me, Sirius, and Remus are shopping for clothes for tomorrow's dinner party at Cho's house." Harry answered, "What are you doing now?"
"Interesting." Said Neville "Gram and I was visiting my Mum and Dad."
"I'll be at the Food Court if you need me, Neville." Augusta said before she leaves, she suggests "Say why not you boys go to the Arcade that recently opened up it's around the corner from here."
"Okay Gram." Said Neville as Augusta leaves for the Food Court
"We'll do the same Harry." Said Remus as he and Sirius head to the Food Court
"Do you want to go the Arcade?" Asked Neville
"Sure, let's go." Replied Harry
As Harry and Neville walk to the Arcade Neville asks Harry, "Have you been to the Arcade Harry?"
"No, I haven't" Answered Harry
"Why?" Neville asked.
"My Aunt and Uncle usually takes my cousin and his friends to the arcade or anywhere else to prove that I don't exist. Replied Harry
"That's terrible Harry." Reacted Neville "Why would they do that?"
"It's complicated." Replied Harry
"I see, anyway let's have some fun" said Neville as they enter the Arcade.
The two Gryffindors were amazed of how the Arcade looks, there were so many games like Street Fighter EX, Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3, Galaga Arrangement, Air Hockey, Afterburner, Darts, Pac-Man, Dig Dug, Marvel vs Capcom, and Pop-A-Shot. They go to the air hockey table where Harry gets the red paddle and Neville gets the green paddle. Harry teaches Neville how to play the game since he is a half-blood. However, he got the hangout of it as the game went on with the score tied, Harry hits the puck on to the right side of the table Neville hits the puck right back at Harry but didn't count on Harry hitting the puck on the left side and scores the final point.
"Not bad Harry" Neville complemented.
"You weren't so bad yourself Neville your first game." Said Harry "You want play again?
"No, let's play some other games" replied Neville.
"Sure" said Harry.
With that Harry and Neville continued to play some more games for about an hour and left for the Food Court where Augusta, Remus, and Sirius were waiting for them. They went to McDonald's for lunch and went their separate ways.
On Easter Sunday, at Cho's house, Cho, Jin-Hwan, and Chuya made last preparations for their feast a knock came from the door Cho opens the door it was her grandfather and grandmother former Aurors Han and Lin. Cho hugs and greets her grandparents "Hey grandma hey grandpa."
They hugged her back and say in unison, "Hello Cho."
Both Han and Lin went into the kitchen where they hugged their daughter and son-in law. Chuya asks about if her nephew Alex and sister-in law Erica was coming to join but they said he is visiting a pen pal in Japan a former student at Mahoutokoro a wizarding school in Japan. 30 minutes later another knock was heard at the door. Cho opened it only to find a doppelgänger staring at her at first, she was shocked but soon realized it was Tonks as Remus, Sirius, and Harry enter the house as well. She welcomed them in and entered the dining room, also introduced Harry to her father and grandparents.
Harry was amazed at the food on the table that Cho and her parents cooked like Korean Fried Chicken, Korean Short Ribs, Army Stew, Char Su Pork Buns, Shumai dumplings Egg Rolls, Chicken Stir-fry ramen and Long-Life Noodles.
"Sit by me Harry." Said Cho moving the chair next to her.
Harry felt his heart rate go up and his cheeks start to turn red. He takes his seat next to Cho.
"Are you okay Harry?"
"Yeah, I'm fine" Said Harry then asks Cho about a soup he never seen before "What's this soup Cho?"
"Oh, that's Korean army stew." She replied and grabbed a bowl, gives a portion to Harry "Here try some."
"Mmm that's good" said Harry trying the stew.
"First time having Korean army stew huh." Jin-Hawn chimed in
"Yeah, it's great did you added spam?" asked Harry.
"Of course, have you had spam before?" said Jin-Hwan.
"Uh yes I have before I remember my aunt giving me one thin slice of spam with a piece of bread while my cousin got two thick slices of spam for our lunches." Said Harry
"Ugh the nerve of that woman." Said Cho disgusted.
"Yep, I remember when I was eight my uncle orders some Chinese food and made me stand in the corner while he, my aunt, and cousin stuff their faces."
At this point Cho balled up her fist after hearing more of what Harry's life before Hogwarts, she was about say something, but Harry held her hand and assured her, "It's okay I don't have worry about that anymore."
"You're right about that." Said Cho calming down.
30 minutes into dinner everyone was enjoying the food Han told Harry about his and Lin's time as Arours fighting against Gellert Grindelwald and his forces. Especially when he, Lin, Theseus Scamander his brother Newt, and other Aruors stopped Grindelwald's rally at the Lestrange Family's Tombs in France. Han was also present at the great duel between Dumbledore and Grindelwald in 1945. This intrigued Harry he always wondered what the Hogwarts Headmaster was like at full power against a threat like Grindelwald and Voldemort. Harry tells Han and that he has some aspirations of being an Arour after he graduates from Hogwarts. Both Han and Lin were impressed by this and explain to Harry that he needs an Outstanding or Exceeds Expectations in five N.E.W. T classes in order to become an Aruor such as Defense Against the Dark Arts, Charms, Transfiguration, Potions, and another subject. Han remembered taking Herbology as his fifth required subject while Lin took Care for Magical Creatures as hers.
"So, Harry how long you knew Cho?" Han asked changing the subject.
"Well, I played against her in my third year of school. Harry replied.
"Do you plan on marrying her Harry? Lin asked.
Both Harry and Cho looked at each other blushing red unable to answer the elder Chang Matriarch's question. Chuya, Sirus, Han, Lin, Jin-Hwan, Tonks, Sirius, and Remus laughed at the flustered teens.
"Uh um I... don't yet um." Harry said flustered.
"I would love to hold my fourth great grandbaby before quietly passing away in my sleep." said Lin.
Again, Harry and Cho turned red at the idea of four children Cho gets her composure and yells, "Grandma!
"Come now Lin, you can't rush them having children yet let alone be married it takes time to grow." Han chuckled.
"I know I was just joking with them, but it would be nice to have some great-grandbabies I would spoil them rotten." said Lin.
"I bet you would Lin." Han chuckled.
"How did you and Lin meet." Harry asked.
"Well, we met on our first quidditch match I was sorted into Hufflepuff and played as a chaser and Lin was sorted into Ravenclaw played as a seeker she was quite the looker. Where I looked at her, she smiled at me then a bludger hit me out of nowhere and I fell off my broom." Han answered.
"Ouch." Harry said.
"Yeah, it did hurt, and we lost that game, but Lin came to visit me quite often and the school healer always had to kick her out. One time the healer chased Lin out of the castle and from then on we made it work." Han said as Lin held his hand and looked at each other smiling remembering all the years being together.
"Have you had any arguments?" Harry asked.
"Of course, we had our fights here and there it's all part of growing the connection you two." Han said.
"I get it now." Harry said taking the elderly Chang Patriarch's advice.
An hour later after dinner Cho, Chuya, and Jin-Hwan hugged Han and Lin before they left, as Cho was about to hug Harry before he, Remus, Tonks, and Sirius headed home. Harry asks, "Cho want to go to the arcade that's next to St. Mungo's on our summer holiday?"
"Sure, I'd love to but I'm going to the firing range in Reno." Said Cho
"Oh, right you're going to America for this summer holiday" said Harry disappointed.
"It's only for the first two weeks our summer holiday." Cho assured him.
"Okay then I'll see you on the Hogwarts Express. "Said Harry.
"Yeah, see you then." Said Cho as she hugs Harry and see him leave with Remus, Sirius and Tonks
