Inside BQ's apartment.
BQ groaned as she woke up from her sleep with her eyes shooting awake, a nightmare still vivid in her mind. The stone bear brushed her arms with her hands before turning to her side to see a basket of relaxing tea given to her a few days ago by Sandy on a small table.
At this point it was a necessity for her to sleep.
"I need to ask Sandy for more." She said calmly as she got out of bed before taking a deep breath. "Okay, I just need to get some stuff done and get on with my day. It'll all be fine."
And so she did her best. BQ took a shower, brushed her teeth, ate breakfast and did some work for her job before putting on her usual clothes and heading out to meet Macaque in the same building she remembered from the first episode Macaque appeared in.
Once she made it in, BQ heard The Six Eared Macaque snort which caused her to raise a brow in confusion. But it wasn't long before BQ got an idea of what it could it be.
"Is this about the posters?" She asked calmly which got another snort out of the monkey.
"Sorry, I just didn't know I was talking with a fan." Said Macaque cheerfully as he approached his new student. "I would've went a little easier on you if I did. Maybe offered an autograph or two."
Although BQ was enjoying Macaque's speech to the point of smiling, she did still roll her eyes at his sarcasm. It was hard to hate your favorite character.
"I remember kicking your butt, though." Countered BQ with a smirk, causing Macaque to chuckle as his eyes glowed purple.
"And I remember you breaking down on the ground as I SAVED your life." Countered Macaque sending a metaphorical punch into BQ's gut with each sentence. "Then you asked me to become your mentor because you refused to tell anyone else before passing out and forcing me to send you back home and call your brother to take care of you."
"I'm...sorry." Muttered BQ from the floor with dying breaths as she tried to recover from Macaque's relentless onslaught.
Macaque smiled victoriously. "That's what I thought." He said cheerfully. "Now let's get to your 'training'."
BQ immediately changed poses and sat cross legged in front of Macaque ready for her lesson. However, Macaque's smile did give her a bad feeling.
"You just have to do one thing. Spend the whole day with MK on low power. Keep your whole body at just enough power to not die without acting out of place in front of the kid." Said Macaque calmly as the blood drained out of BQ's face. "If you fail, you'll definitely still live...buuuuut-"
BQ gulped as she stared at Macaque. On top of the horrifying nature of this training for her, If she fails MK will either know her secret or become aware of her hiding something.
"...what if I cheat?" Asked BQ with a frown causing Macaque to chuckle.
"So you CAN do it. Good. well, in that situation, you won't get better." He replied with a shrug. "You gotta take risks if you wanna get results."
BQ went silent, pondering what to do. But she already knew she had to do. If she doesn't get better, she'll freeze up and die AGAIN one day. The only thing she could do was do go for it.
And so, BQ nodded with a determined expression before Macaque smiled. It was time to begin the training.

At Pigsy's noodles.
BQ stood in front of the building as she shook vigorously. Her breathing was as heavy as a mountain. Every part of her body was on the verge of breaking down from lack of chi.
She took a deep breath before entering the establishment and sitting down. MK was nowhere in sight, but Pigsy was there to greet her.
"BQ? What are you doing here?" Asked Pigsy raising a brow.
"Uhh, where's MK?" Asked BQ raising a brow as she sat down.
"Oh, he's not here right now." Said Pigsy eyeing BQ suspicious of her. "You need him for somethin'?"
"...s-sorta." said BQ nervously as her eyes twitched. "I'll just come back later."
"Wait- sit down. I have something to talk to you about." Said Pigsy in an almost angry tone much to BQ's confusion.
BQ shrugged and decided to sit down as Pigsy glared at her menacingly. She couldn't help but feel a little nervous especially with her current... training.
"Look, I'm still not fully over your whole evil demon thing." Said Pigsy in a serious tone. "but MK really wants you around so I'm staying quiet, but you gotta start treating him better."
"I can see where you're coming from." Said BQ taking heavy breaths as the fear of turning to stone started to become serious causing her to clench her fists while keeping on a neutral expression for Pigsy.
"And one more thing..." Said Pigsy awkwardly. "Where...did he come from? What happened for him to suddenly appear at my shop covered in dirt?"
BQ went silent. She knew her existence would bring questions, but she didn't expect to face one. She tried to think of what to say, but the low power mode she was in made thinking clearly a mere delusion. So she decided to say everything as badly as possible for some reason.
"Uhh, well. One day, a magic lady found a rock on a mountain and thought it was very nice. From the nice rock, she made a bear. But part of the rock was still there so she said 'monkey!' And made a monkey...who's MK." Said BQ tiredly before inhaling a large amount of air. "Can I get a cup of water?"
"Seriously?! This is not the time to be joking!" Exclaimed Pigsy angrily.
"Hey, that's just me. If you want a better explanation, ask someone else." Replied BQ tiredly with rough breathing.
Pigsy was fuming with anger at BQ's reply. This was serious business.
"Ugh! Why do you always have to be so frustrating?!" He yelled angrily before noticing the state BQ was in as she began brushing her arms. "*Sigh* I'll go get the water."
BQ sighed in relief at Pigsy stopping before she heard him scream a second later. She turned to the kitchen to see flames erupting from inside. BQ immediately panicked and rushed to the kitchen causing parts of her body to turn to stone from the sudden movement.
The pain of petrification made her freeze in front of the open door. Flashes of her encounter with the spider robot overlapped with her current vision causing her to start shaking. But before she could break down, Pigsy's panicking voice snapped her awake. BQ took a deep breath before using chi to to breathe out a gust of wind that put out all the flames in one swoop while unfortunately breaking a few plates on the way.
She let out a sigh of relief before the pain of petrification hit her once again. Causing her to panic as chi slowly trickled back into her cells.
"Kid?" Asked Pigsy checking on BQ who looked very tense.
"I'm fine! Do I not look fine? Cause I'm TOTALLY FINE!" Yelled BQ with a forced smile.
"Uhh, okay?" Replied Pigsy in confusion.
BQ took a deep breath. "That...was my fault. I...make it up to you." She said as she slow deep breaths.
Pigsy tried to argue and stop her, but BQ put a hand on his mouth and glared at him with glowing purple eyes.
"Uhh, you can clean the kitchen. I mean, it's not-"
"I'll do it." BQ cut in.
"Just the floor! Alright?"
And so, with no other options, Pigsy let BQ clean the messed up kitchen.

In the kitchen.
"No sudden movements...at all." Muttered BQ as she slowly used a broom to brush away the broken plates on the ground.
Every part of her body was working overtime to keep her going and any excessive movements caused small stings of pain. It was bearable, almost okay to handle.
Then, HE appeared.
"Heyyyy! How's my little student doing?" Asked Macaque cheerfully as he appeared as a shadow on the wall.
"Busy." Said BQ tiredly, minimizing all the words she had to use.
"Aww, too busy even for me?" Asked Macaque with a grin as he knocked down an unbroken plate off the counter. "Whoops!"
"What?" Asked BQ in a panic.
"Sorry, I'm just a little clumsy." Said Macaque cheerfully as he pushed off another plate only this time BQ managed to catch it.
Petrification quickly started to take effect on BQ's body causing her to freeze up.
"Kid! Focus!" Exclaimed Macaque in a serious, almost encouraging way, snapping BQ back to reality. "C'mon! Is this the same person I fought?"
Without missing a beat, Macaque pushed another plate forcing BQ to act on her feet on such low power. He pushed plates, threw cooking utensils all around and more to keep BQ moving.
"Did all that invincibility make you soft?" Asked Macaque as he pushed down a whole fridge onto BQ before she slowly pushed it back to its place before she jumped to catch a plate Macaque threw into the air.
Slowly, but surely, BQ got used to the situation. Every plate, cooking utensil and anything else were getting caught.
But just as Macaque was about to up the training, Pigsy walked into the kitchen causing him to disappear.
"Huh? You barely got anything done." Said Pigsy in confusion.
"Uhh...procrastination?"
Pigsy let out a sigh that felt as heavy as a mountain. "Why's weirdness the one thing you share with that kid?" He deadpanned. "I'll help."
And so, Pigsy grabbed his own broom and he and BQ cleaned the kitchen together thankfully this time without any hijinks and sadly before MK could arrive.
Letting BQ go home with nothing else to do

Later, on the road.
BQ walked home with a smile on her face. The relief of having all her energy output back felt like nothing short of a blessing.
Then, out of nowhere, Macaque entered the scene, making BQ almost punch him in surprise.
"So, what did you think of your first training session?" He asked with a smug smile.
"It was awful!" Exclaimed BQ angrily. "Why did you even do all that stuff at the end."
Macaque chuckled. "I thought you needed a little push. Besides...it worked, didn't it?" Asked Macaque causing BQ to sigh. "You're not freezing up on low power."
BQ frowned. She couldn't argue with that and it was frustrating.
"Buuut that was the easy part. We still have UNDER low power to work with." Said Macaque nonchalantly, causing BQ's brain to stop functioning. "Get some rest, you'll need it."
Without missing a beat, Macaque fell down a portal leaving BQ alone with one thing on her mind.
"I'm gonna need to ask Sandy for more tea."

Something I just realized.
MK and Wukong are referred to as the Sunburst duo. Asian bears include the moon bear.
Meaning I gotta find a cool moon duo name for BQ and Macaque.
Tell me how I did. Leave a review.
