"Robin, I really think this is a bad idea." Raven was above begging, but she would get down on her hands and knees if it convinced Robin not to go to that stupid concert.
For once, the other two boys had decided to stay out of things. The voice shaking Titans Tower this time was an overly-defiant Robin.
"I'LL GO IF I WANT TO GO, RAVEN!"
"Starfire slunk further along the wall, and it seemed like she wanted to sink into the floor. Cyborg stood by her side, a comforting shoulder to cry into if needed. He saw the direction this was headed in. Robin's temper was never this bad.
"What do you think they did to him?" Beast Boy asked, echoing his companion's thoughts.
"I don't know, but it can't be good."
Robin took a deep breath, attempting to regain his composure. He turned towards Starfire, perhaps a bit too harshly, as she let out a timid squeak and turned her face towards the wall.
"Oops, sorry. I was thinking, Star, about us going to this concert together. Consider it a date."
"The two had been dating for nearly a year now, and Star honestly wanted a fun date to celebrate the anniversary, as the people called it. Maybe the concert was a good idea after all.
"Starfire, don't listen to him," Raven groaned.
"SHUT UP!" Robin snapped back.
"I will go, just please do not hurt me." Starfire finally took a step away from the wall, timidly, as if she was a mouse confronting a lion.
"Here's the plan," Robin continued. It was as if nothing had happened, or he was at least totally oblivious to it. "We'll go to the concert, and I'll call for backup if I feel we need it. Most likely, we'll be in a pretty dangerous situation to need help, and I really don't think we'll need it, but just in case."
"You and Star should have a good time, totally," Beast Boy mumbled. It wasn't worth arguing anymore. Robin had made up his mind, and there was no changing that.
"Just roll with it," Robin urged. He couldn't help but notice the rest of the team seemed reluctant, but he wasn't about to change plans now. Besides, he needed the day off.
"Fine," Raven mumbled, retreating back to her room. "I'll be helping Beast Boy with late spring cleaning while you're gone."
"On second thought, maybe I should go with you two!"
Raven shot him a look that said, "I'm being sarcastic, idiot. There's no way I'm touching anything in your room."
"So we have a plan." Robin nodded, content that things were finally falling into place. Although he had to admit, he wasn't sure why his temper was so outlandish lately. Hopefully this concert would hold a few much needed answers.
