AND BEES (teacher's edition) – Part three

"Maybe we should go into this room", Kitty finally pointed out. They were now standing at the entrance of the kitchen, suspiciously looking at it. "I have a strong feeling we might find what we're looking for", the witch added and made some energetic hand movements to shoo her friend along. But Blade remained where she was.

"I... I can smell danger", the blonde fairy said, stopping Kitty from moving on. Kitty raised an eyebrow.

"I smell dirty socks", the Sorceress answered, "Ooohhh, is this the new game you were talking about? Quick, your turn!"

"I smell…" Blade was about to answer.

"I smell detention," an angry Palladium resounded behind Blade. He had made his way quickly to the dining hall as he had heard the shattering of glass. First, he had been worried. But then he had seen the spear, the writing on the curtains and the broken chair and chandelier. He was utterly annoyed and unimpressed by the conduct.

"Palladium!" Blade squeaked.

"Palladium? You can smell metal?!" Kitty was super impressed.

'Metal?' Was that what she had heard? "Sure, can't you smell metal?" Blade asked confused but then pointed at the General of the Evil One's army, standing at the door tapping his foot impatiently. "But first we need to solve this problem…"

Kitty turned around, "Oh fuck."

"Language," Palladium hissed. "For crying out loud, what kind of dare or Witch mission is this supposed to be? Don't tell me Griffin used you, Blade, to play pranks. You should know better! You are a fairy even if you have a dark fairy form. You're not some Witch-"

"Sorceress!" Blade screamed at his face. She hated it when people used the W-word. It was such an insult, a bad habit. "And the mighty Plushie is my friend a force of nature to be reckoned and fighter for balance in the universe! You can't even compare to her! How dare you insult her!" Blade growled and balled her fists drawing his attention as she saw Friendly Mountain enter the dining hall.

"Insult her… Blade this is certainly not the time of NIGHT to debate…wait, mighty what?" Palladium was totally confused now. As he heard Knut's footsteps behind him. "All good Knut… it's just Blade and a Witc-Sorceress from Cloud Tower…" Concerned he gazed at the two. Especially at Blade, 'Is she under a spell? She would never-' As he heard a swiping noise from behind, he turned around.

"ENLARGE!" Knut hammered down with the little tree in his hand which rapidly enlarged and hit the Professor on the head.

"KNU-" Palladium didn't know what was happing and before he could even wave his hand he was out cold.

"Shrink," satisfied that he had saved his masters from the threat Knut smiled. "I finished bringing up the barrels. You alright? Friends?" Some leaves dropped to the floor.

Kitty gasped in awe as Palladium went out like a broken light bulb. "You did it, friendly mountain!", she screeched. After breaking out of her stupor, "You slayed the evil minion with the great sword and cleansed him from his sins. Now, he is the perfect sacrifice for our summoning spell. Nothing can stop the protector anymore!" Happily, she took Blade's hands, to drag her with her as she began to dance in circles around the dining hall. But, as another thought crossed her mind, she came to a sudden halt, let go of Blade and watched how her friend stumbled into the next wall. "Hold on!", Kitty said, lowering her brows, "What if he wakes up? What if he asks for help and even more minions come? Hurry Blade! We need to do this now!"

Blade nodded, "Yes, we got to hurry!" Blade rummaged through the kitchen they took anything they could find. And Friendly Mountain took it outside into the courtyard as silent as an Owl.

Kitty took a chair from the Podium and placed the General on it and bound him with some cooking yarn to it. 'That way he will never escape.' She dragged him out as well.

Blade was already mixing chalk with some ink from that secret room behind the dining room and was preparing eagerly for the summoning.

Kitty prepared the vessel powders together with the magical powder and lots of water from the well which Friendly Mountain brought her bit by bit. Time was flying by as they hurried along the night.

"Alright, all the ink is ready. What did Mr Unicorn say, from two make one? Use the sword… summon…from two make one…shit, what could it mean?! Two of what? We're doomed, how could we forget that part? Two… two… two… we have no twos!" She whispered hastily. "We just need to draw the summoning circle and that… The sun will be rising soon…" Blade ruffled annoyed through her dreadlocks.

Kitty tipped thoughtfully against her upper lip, "Hmmm, we have two minions", she offered, finally, "Maybe we need to cook them together to get one soup! Yeah, that's it, right?" She turned around to look at Friendly Mountain and the still unconscious general. "Or... maybe not", she mumbled, since she somehow couldn't stand the thought of putting the Mountain into boiling hot water, "So what if... Hm... oh, I know: We are two girls! Maybe we need to fulfil the prophecy and become one person of power by smashing our powers together! That's it: We will merge into a mighty person of the mystical arts and make the unicorn proud!" Satisfied with this thought, she smashed her flat hand against Blade's forehead and let it rest there. "Now, Blade!", she hissed frantically, "Now, pump your magic into me and I'll do the same and then we will finally be able to summon the great protector!"

Blade concentrated she was so tense, but the only thing they could hear was a farting noise. "Shit, it's not working that way… What would Faragonda do? I think you are on the right track there, Kitty. What would Faragonda do?" Blade pondered, "Convergence!" She whispered loudly not to attract other soldiers. "That's it. I have light, you have dark, we smash it together we'll get the strongest spells there are." Blade's eyes sparkled.

"…" Kitty stared at her, "You- you are a genius!" She barely could contain her loud squeak in time. "Let's finish the summoning circle then. Here, let's go we need to figure out the runes… and then you fly up there and draw the runes on the magic shield and I draw my part on the ground. Perfect!"

Avalon liked to say that he was prepared for anything. Turns out, he wasn't. After stumbling out of bed and getting ready for the day, the paladin made his way to the control circle in the Professors hallway, since it was his job today to deactivate the shield. "Vanish", he mumbled, still a bit tired and felt, how the shield disappeared outside. The next thing he heard, was a loud splash. It sounded like Alfea was attacked by some kind of slime monster and suddenly a wide-awake Avalon ran down the hallway towards an exit, trying to figure out what that sound was.

"Darkness and Light, we call thee. Come together as one, equal in your power."

Avalon could hear two soft voices, turning louder as he ran straight in the direction of the door to the schoolyard in front of him. 'Is that... Blade?!' He wasn't sure if he was hearing that correctly but he could feel a massive magical energy building up in the courtyard even from this far away.

"Not good or bad, but to sides of the same coin that belong to each together, strengthen and support each other. Come to us, we call upon You, GREAT PROTECTOR!"

That sounded like... a convergence spell? "What is going on?", Avalon mumbled as he sprinted around the last corner. He stopped dead in his tracks as he arrived at his destination, his eyes widening as the chaos revealed in front of his eyes.

Blade and the Witch were standing at the bottom of the stairs. Hands held high converging dark and light magic. Two massive rune circles drawn with coloured jam on the ground. Some of it must have fallen from the sky since there were huge splash patterns everywhere. The girls just hammered down their hands on the ground to infuse the circles with their convergence magic.

"STOP!" Professor Avalon ordered, his gaze wandered to the middle of the circle. Palladium was sitting there, bond, knocked out in a chair. "What in MAIGX ARE YOU DOING?!" He roared over the courtyard rushing towards the two students. But he knew he was too late. The circle activated, and a bright glow flashed up. Avalon held his arm in front of his eyes to not get blinded. He looked up as a GIGANTIC JELLY SNOWMAN rose from the ground up, blowing up like a balloon as the ingredients were drawn to the middle of the circle The snowman held the huge tree Knut had dragged around prior that day, still enwrapped in the glowing phanto-rope. Avalon couldn't move this was…INCREDIBLE WEIRD. He just stared in disbelief.

Palladium got zapped by magical lighting as magic was drawn from him and the snowman grew even larger. He awoke from the shock, slightly dizzy. His head hurt he felt a bit dizzy, but as his air support got cut off from red wobbly cherry Jelly he found his focus. "Hm hmhmhmh hmhmm" He cast something unhearable and healed himself first.

Woken from the shout and magic outburst Griselda and Faragonda stormed outside to their balcony. "Amazing, that's light and dark convergence…" Faragodna commented baffled and spotted the two girls at the stairs.

Griselda was furious on the other hand, "That will be detention even if she leaves this school." She growled angrily. "BLADE!" Her voice echoed throughout the school.

"My," Wizgiz was certainly amused by the special. That snowman was higher than the school's towers he guessed around fifteen meters at least. "Did I miss a party invitation? Special holiday?" He was chuckling, never had he seen that in school before and he had seen a lot.

Palladium, on the other hand, flared up magic inside the jelly snowman to free himself. Quickly he managed to aim his hand and with another great magic blast, he shot a tunnel straight through the snowman and rushed outside that wobbly death trap. "BLADE! KNUT! AND YOU!" He didn't know the Witch's name. He was sooo pissed and angry. He couldn't spot any mind spell on either the girls but on Knut, dark magic, a Hex-rune. "You'll answer for this!" The other teachers were simply standing there baffled as all the students came to their balconies and windows to see what the ruckus was about.

Kitty's eyes were wide open. She pointed her finger at Palladium, trembling in fear. "The... the evil minion!", she screeched in horror, "Kill it, Blade I'll cover you with the great sword!"

"Not gonna happen!", Blade yelled back, just as horrified, "Let's just run – ah, retreat! RETREAT!"

"Don't you dare!", Palladium warned, but it was no use.

"RETREAT!", Kitty screamed and started running like a headless chicken.

Blade took Kitty by her hand. "We finished our part, we just have to survive the Great Protector will do the rest! Mr Unicorn said so… FRIENDLY MOUNTAIN ATTACK! We'll beat him with his own weapon!" Blade ordered Knut.

Knut roared loudly and charged at Palladium. "NO, HURT MY FRIENDS!"

'Oh crap…' Avalon activated his golden wings, "I got you covered!" In no time he tackled the Ogre and pressed his hand on his forehead, "Lapus Sturei'et Feer'mai Tetfrangan Mit Cominuim!" He broke the Hex-Rune. "Knut, calm down." He addressed the Ogre sternly.

Blade chanted, "MERCY SHOT!" A dark magic bow appeared in her hands. Ever since Jewel's death, she had trained to build bows faster even if it wasn't the best weapon choice for her. She pressed I into Kitty's hand as she transformed into her Shadion and dashed upwards with her. "Dark reaver!" She sent an energy sickle against a wind slash from the General.

"Get back down here this instant!" Palladium got more and more furious and activated his winged boots to meet them up in the air. "Last WARNING!"

Kitty took the bow in her left hand, before pulling an extra-long piece of chalk from one of her pockets, putting it onto the bowstring, before aiming at Palladium. "We will never surrender!", she declared loudly, "You newborn killers, you deserve what's going to happen. Now die!"

"Newborn-", Palladium echoed, baffled for a brief second. 'What in Magix?'

Kitty let go of the string, shooting the chalk at Palladium, which hit him in the shoulder.

"Dammit", the elf cursed. Even though it was just chalk and broke into pieces at impact, it still hurt. "Stop this madness RIGHT NOW!", he ordered again, grinding his teeth.

As an answer, Kitty shot two more pieces of chalk towards him.

Palladium now just had enough. He burned the chalk away with his magic before they could reach him and charged at the two girls flying in front of him. "That's it!", he growled.

"Ahhhhh, the minion! Fly higher, Blade! HIGHER!", Kitty screamed, as she tried to push Blade upwards.

"Kitty you can fly on your own. I'll take the front line," She let go of Kitty and spun her glaive in her hands going straight for him but clashed with Avalon's frosted Jian.

Professor Avalon was baffled, "Blade, calm down. Put the weapon away…" He activated his Aura reading, but even before it took effect he clearly could see that Blade's pupils were dilated a lot. 'What is going on?!'

"GO BLADE!" Nebula shouted from her balcony. "TEAM STUDENT!"

Snow was simply confused, "What is she doing… why is there a Sorceress in our courtyard… ehhhhh…"

"AAHAHAHA," Tessa was laughing her ass off, "A giant snowman, just why, ahahahaha!"

"I can't believe this nonsense!" Griselda was on the verge of snapping. If Palladium wouldn't be angry enough to take them both on, she would've dragged them out of the sky a long time ago.

Faragonda just smiled at the brown-haired woman, "Calm down, Griselda, things will settle eventually", the headmistress tried to soothe her, "and in the meantime... When did Blade learn to cast such a powerful convergence?"

"Who cares, if she-", Griselda started once again, but this time got cut off by Wizgiz.

"Ahh, they cast weapons now. Things start to get interesting. Anyone else wants popcorn?" The leprechaun looked at his colleagues, smiling widely.

Tasu simply shook her head and facepalmed, "My word…"

Amber shouted, "GO GET THEM! WOOOOOHOOOOOOO!"

Dahlia cleared her throat, "She better hide in Cloud Tower for the next months."

"Professor Wizgiz, you-" Griselda was close to getting an angry outburst on her smaller colleague but didn't get to finish the sentence.

"Yes, I'd like a bag", Faragonda answered politely, while watching her student and the sorceress fight Palladium.

"You too?" At this point, Griselda just gave up. There was no point in trying to scold the other teachers. "Fine", the brown-haired woman mumbled, "I'll take some too. But salty! Not sweet!"

"By Solaria's light, she lost it…" Rise was so confused. This had a lot of her first-year fight against Avalon and Palladium, but somehow it had a whole different vibe to it.

"I bet Blade survives three more attacks," Birdy laughed her ass off. "This is the best Witch… I mean Sorceress prank ever!"

"Yeah, we'll have jelly till the end of the year…" Sienna snorted.

Avalon read her aura once again, yet with the same result. There was definitely no spell on her and even though she seemed distressed, there were no significant changes in her aura. Her patterns were just slightly erratic.

"You threatened Bernd!", Blade hissed through her teeth, "And you killed the newborns! You better give up now, evil minion, because I won't back down!" Blade pulled her glaive away and flew higher to attack from atop.

Effortlessly Avalon caught the swing with his Jian, holding against the force she put behind her attack. "Blade, stop this", he warned in a low voice, "We can settle this, you just need to calm down. And... who is Bernd?"

Blade snorted, "Tch, you know exactly who I'm talking about! Don't act all innocent, you evil idiot!" Sweat travelled down her forehead, and her muscles were twitching slightly, but uncontrollably.

And suddenly, realization dawned on Avalon, "Palladium, it has to be some kind of poison!", he yelled over to his colleague. There was no other explanation for this. Yes, it had happened a few times that Blade had attacked someone out of rage, but the way she was talking and acting... she wasn't in her right mind. Actually, she acted as if she belonged in psychiatry.

"Pladicu-," Palladium was just about to send a strong wind gust to blow the Witch out of the sky, but stopped, "Poison!?" He sighed annoyed. "Desists!" He blocked the next chalk attack and charged up some magic. "HEDERA!" he had to use more magic that way without earth to call upon, but nonetheless quickly vines spread from his hand, "Grab and freeze!" He nodded to the jelly snowman.

"EHHHH!" Kitty squeaked as she saw a jungle rushing towards her. "BLADE RUN!" She turned around but was too slow and her foot got caught and she got flung backwards right into the snowman, which wobbled dangerously as she impacted into the jelly.

"KITTY NO!" Blade infused magic into her glaive and swung but completely missed Avalon. "What you can teleport?! Angel of death!" She hissed angrily.

Avalon simply reached out and grabbed her shirt and hurled her straight into the snowman as well, "Frost flare!" He fired a beam of ice from his Jian. The two girls now were stuck and half-frozen in the jelly snowman.

"Oh no... this is it, Blade", Kitty whispered, tears streaming down her cheeks, "this is the end. It was an honour fighting by your side. And whatever happens... please, remember me, the mighty plushie."

"No, we can't give up now!", Blade objected and struggled against the frozen jelly, but to no use, "Please, Kitty, don't leave me! We can still pull through and survive! Don't give up now, mighty plushie!" Blade yelled the last words, sending a frown to almost every face in the schoolyard.

"Mighty... plushie?", Avalon mumbled. 'Yup, definitely poison.'

Kitty was giving up, but Blade, no way in Magix. She amassed more magic. 'This is one of those occasions, where it is dire and important. Only one route to go…' She glared upwards "BERSERK!"

"Oh, for crying- she never knows when to give up," Professor Palladium cursed.

Avalon shook his head, "Somnio Flaxa Nescius!" He shot a glowing orb at her. A sure hit. Blade's head abruptly sank down. "Sleeping spell successful. This round goes to the teachers." He smiled satisfied and put Kitty out of her misery too.

Palladium raised an eyebrow as he swiped some more jelly out of his hair, "Was that ever in doubt?" Only now he noticed that half of the onlooker's faces were kinda sad and the other half rejoiced and was collecting bet rewards. "I should confiscate all of that stuff…" he growled. He flew towards them to pull them out of the gigantic snowman, "What poison lets you build THIS though?" He was so confused.

"I don't know", Avalon answered truthfully, "but if I get some time, I can figure it out." If it was poison, he added mentally. After all, that was just an assumption of his – it could be something else, too. "Maybe in the library", Avalon wanted to continue but got interrupted by someone else as they laid the ladies down on the ground.

"No need for that, dear friend. I think I have an idea what could've caused this chaos." Wizgiz appeared behind Avalon without a warning. The leprechaun just now went down to the schoolyard, after finishing his popcorn and watching, how Blade and Kitty smashed into the jelly snowman.

"Wizgiz", Palladium didn't sound amused at all, "You know, you could've helped."

Wizgiz just grinned, "I didn't think there was any need for that", he responded, winking lightly, "after all, you had everything under control, right?"

"You", Palladium began, but Avalon cleared his throat loudly.

"The girls", Avalon reminded them.

"Ah, right, sorry," Wizgiz came a bit closer, examining Blade first, after her the witch. "Oh dear...", the leprechaun mumbled, before turning back to the other teachers, "well it seems like they have quite a strong hallucinogen inside their bodies."

Palladium's mouth opened and closed, without him saying a word. Even Avalon was taken aback. "They... took drugs?!", the elf finally found his voice back.

"Oh crap, I should've talked way sooner with Blade!", Avalon cursed, "It doesn't seem like her to take drugs, but then again, she has so much pressure on her and she lost Jewels and..."

"Shit, and I was ready to lay into them", Palladium mumbled, "How do we... tell her parents? Detention? Therapy? How in the heck...?"

They were interrupted by Wizgiz laughter. "Oh, you two…" He couldn't stop.

"What is so funny, exactly?", Avalon scolded him, not in the mood for some stupid jokes. A student of his was taking drugs, for crying out loud!

"Oh, they didn't take anything", Wizgiz chuckled, "you see those puncture wounds? Too big for needles. They got stung by Halucinga, which got the poison into their bodies. AND that caused the hallucinations. By the numbers… they have probably run straight into a nest full of them. Hmmm…" Wizgiz rummaged through his memories. "Protector… oh, I know… It's the hive near the black mud forest a bit north of the Cloud Tower. The base hallucination is always the same no matter who gets stung. I think the last student who had a run-in said something about a Unicorn with a quest…" He elaborated. "Just bring them into the infirmary I'll mix an antidote up right away. Unless… we also could let them walk and find out the end of the mission… I always wondered, what the bees want their victims to do. I believe there was talk about a sword…" He smirked, he was kind of curious. He never had found out even after his thousands of years as a teacher in Magix.

"That's... all you wonder about?" Palladium asked, blinking baffled. That had to be a joke. First, this whole chaos and now Wizgiz seriously contemplated letting them run around while still drugged. 'Well, at least they didn't really take drugs...'

"Hm, what was the furthest anyone got with this quest?" Avalon asked intrigued. Now that he knew that Blade didn't poison herself on purpose, he felt much more relaxed. 'And this whole story... is kind of funny,' He understood why Wizgiz would want to know how it ended.

"I believe last time it was some specialists and they searched for a sword in the forest or some old ruins. I think they were caught as they wildly tried to dive down into the lake. You know there are some really old ruins there," Wizgiz recalled, "They got furthest I'd say. New record." He watched as the sun rose above the tree line. "Ahh, too bad. Sun's up, time ran out..."

Faragonda shook her head, "And even if, Professor Wizgiz…" She sounded a tiny bit admonishing. "We're not sending our students on a wild goose chase." She shook her head. "Besides," She pointed slightly at Blade's bracelet, "We tested the new feature today… so chances are, we might find out what that mission is about, anyways." A slight grin flitted over her lips. When she had been a student in Alfea another student, in fact, Kalshara had been stung a few times too often. 'Gotta call Saladin, he will love that! Oh, and Griffin….'

It was late evening and some of the Alfean Professors as well as special guests were meeting up in the secret teachers' hang-out lounge. Palladium was busy connecting the computer down there to the simulator room and converging the 3D input into a 2D movie to watch for all on the big screen. Wizgiz was eagerly filling his plate with snacks. Avalon was chatting with Codatorta. And Faragonda and Griffin were reminiscing about old times, while Griselda and Saladin heatedly discussed if the two girls should be punished or not for wasting so much Jelly powder. Even from Red Fountain, that giant snowman had been visible without a telescope. Cloud Towers' gossip kitchen was brewing as well; all had wondered who had played the biggest prank of the year on the glitter bucket school.

"Alright, all is ready to go," Palladium rubbed his hands and took his seat between Wizgiz and Avalon. He had the remote in his hands.

"Well then, let the great Halucinga mission begin and the mystery unfolds! Ha, can't wait. I always wondered what the mission was about… I heard that one of the old Witch Headmistresses had created a pact with the bees and that way the missions got established…"

"Yes, it is to secure that the students wander from school to school, at least that's what I heard," Faragonda nodded in agreement.

"Tch. So boring, if a Witch is so dumb to get stung, she should suffer," Griffin grunted. "Surely, this was done because of your whiny students." She stared at Saladin and Faragonda.

"Ha, you say that, but my boys save your Witches' asses all the time. They are just too proud to admit it!" Codatorta laughed out loud.

"Indeed, now hush, I want to know what mission could possibly end with a snowman…" Saladin shushed them all as Griselda dimmed the lights and the movie extracted from Blade's bracelet started. The girls were bickering a lot and Palladium for that reason had a speed spell on certain parts, after all, they couldn't just vanish for several hours to watch it.

Griffin laughed her ass off, "See, I told you, Violas are the perfect punishment mission!"

Griselda shook her head, "Too bad Blade found a way to circumvent that."

"Whisper of creation…" Avalon rubbed his chin, "That is the spell she came up with Nebula, wasn't it?"

"Yes, I'm impressed how well it works… dark nature magic…" The elf was pondering as well.

"Okay, quiet everyone, I think they're entering the nest with the Halucingas!" Wizgiz leaned a bit forward from his seat in order not to miss any detail of the movie. This was going to be hilarious.

Avalon raised an eyebrow, "Why wouldn't they even check the cave first? Blade should've known better than just walking in there with her eyes closed", he commented.

"Yeah, imagine she would pull that stunt at my school", Codatorta commented, grinning widely.

They watched how Kitty pulled Blade into the nest without hesitation while the fairy herself was completely oblivious to her surroundings.

"Ah, rookies", Saladin smirked, "trusting a Witch blindly, no less…" He shook his head.

"Pah," Griffin was a bit offended, "Don't come to me asking for a favour next time…"

"Ah, come now, isn't it your first lesson you teach, to not trust another Witch?" Faragonda smirked at her old friend to which Griffin just growled and shut up again.

The girls found the viola rather fast, pulling it out from the earth and turning around to leave the nest again.

"They should hurry now", Palladium mumbled, even though he already knew that they would get stung.

When the girls gave each other an awkward high five, Griffin snorted loudly. "I guess their so-called friendship means more to them than their lives", the Cloud Tower headmistress pointed out, while Kitty was screaming around after high-fiving Blade. Neither of them tried to get out of the nest until all of the teachers heard the awful loud buzzing noises.

"Aaaaand, here we go!", Wizgiz announced, grabbing a handful of popcorn in excitement.

"Mmh, better than in a cinema at Magix City", Avalon grinned, watching, how the girls tried to strenuously fight off the bees.

"Oh no…" Codatorta shook his head as Blade lost sight of Kitty just to find her collapsed on the ground and swooped her up. It was a chaotic rescue especially as she hit the roof and more bees swarmed at them. "Doesn't she know Halucingas are night active and sleep? If She hadn't done that…" He sighed.

Avalon furrowed his brows a bit as he watched Blade rescuing Kitty. It reminded him a lot of the one time he needed to be saved by Blade when they were fighting the Whispering Wolves. "What are the odds?", the paladin mumbled to himself, "The same rescue, just with a different person... I hope Coda is next. That'd teach him."

Griselda rubbed her forehead, "She is panicking… if she had gone for a defensive strategy…"

"She doesn't have defensive spells," Palladium reminded her.

Faragonda laughed, "Well, at least she learned something from your Wolf fight. If you hit the ground running, keep at it." She looked to Griselda, "And if you have an idea, you can gladly teach her how to defend herself better."

"Ha, your best defence is your Grisly roar, your students run for the hills just like mine," Griffin joked around and shook her head as both girls had been stung so much. Of course, burning off the stingers wouldn't save them now.

"Shit… how did that thing move so fast…" Blade had crashed into a bush branch.

Wizgiz nearly choked on his popcorn.

"You alright?" Palladium tried to stay serious as he patted his colleagues back. Blade was so dead earnest about her statement everyone had a hard time not laughing. "Bright colours… glowing?" He was at first a bit confused. The plants were all normal looking on the screen.

"Ah, well, pupils dilate plus you gain enhanced senses, that's a normal reaction," Wizgiz elaborated as he had caught his breath, "while on hallucinogens, you gain a whole new perspective on the world around you. Colours are brighter, your surroundings are much more detailed and the world looks like you're looking at it through a microscope."

"Gold bucket at the end of the rainbow? Isn't that a Gardenian myth?" Faragonda wondered.

"Yeah, Wizgiz, where do you hide your pot of gold?" Saladin chuckled.

Wizgiz commented seriously, "Well, there is a Leprechaun bank for investments… Long life, big savings." Everyone was staring at him for just a second.

"UNICORN!"

Now the girls were talking with air. "Unicorn?" Griffin was perplexed, "But there is no…"

"SHHHHH, the mission… maybe they state it…" Saladin shushed her quickly.

Palladium laughed out loud, "Chosen ones? Oh, Griffin, don't you do anything for your students' confidence? Is that why they are so grumpy all the time?"

"What?! Take that back, you try teach children to be proud, when everyone is just giving them bullshit," She hissed.

"Protector?", Palladium echoed, as the girls discussed, what the unicorn told them, "Don't tell me, the unicorn ordered them to build a giant jelly snowman!"

"Nah, I think the snowman was all Blade's idea, and how I know her", Codatorta laughed, "but seriously, who is the dark one?"

"The bad guy? Duh", Avalon responded.

Codatorta rolled his eyes at him, "That would be the evil one, my friend. You should really learn how to listen."

"So, dark one and evil one are not the same?" Saladin frowned, "That... makes no sense."

"Well, to them it did," Faragonda shook her head, "Maybe they should've thought for a second..."

They watched how the girls moved on, talking about their mission. Blade and Kitty entered the black mud swamp, much to the displeasure of all Professors. They stopped at the lake site bordering the swamp, where Kitty tried drowning the fairy.

"She remembered the mating boars? And still went in!" Wizgiz laughed so hard, popcorn fell out of his mouth, "And what in Magix is Kitty doing with her?"

"Testing if she's a real Witch!", Saladin laughed, "Never heard of the water test in the dark ages?"

"That's it, you are banned from Cloud Tower!" Griffin snarled, but yet a smile was on her face.

"Thank god, Blade had enough brain cells left to activate her Winx", Palladium breathed out.

They watched, how Blade stayed underwater. One minute passed. Two. Ten minutes. "So, anyone else bored?", Codatorta asked into the round.

"Yup - wait a second..." Wizgiz pulled the remote from Palladium's hands and started to fast forward.

"Damn, isn't the water cold? This girl really has a thick skin", Griselda pointed out, as Blade stayed almost an hour underwater.

Avalon just shook his head, "I'm just amazed her Winx held that long. Maybe the parkour is showing results already... or desperate times…"

"Call for desperate measures…" Faragonda was somewhat pleased, "Also she didn't do much, just diving. It doesn't cost so much mana. I am more amazed that Knut backed off so quickly from Kitty."

Griffin crossed her arms, "Well, you can say a lot about her, but she can intimidate on a beastly level...even if high." She smirked superiorly.

Codatorta watched as the girls gazed at Knut from cover, "Oh… there we go, I was wondering when he got enchanted."

"Solid execution," Saladin was satisfied, "I don't think our guys could do better."

"Poor Knut…" Wizgiz sighed. "All because I needed some mud from the swamp… next time I should go with him."

They watched how the girls started ordering Knut around like he was their slave, calling him at first evil minion, just to name him.

"Friendly mountain?!" Codatorta snorted because he was laughing so hard, "That is hilarious! If I were Knut I would've killed them for this stupid nickname!"

"Well, then it's a good thing, he was under their spell", Palladium threw in, laughing his ass off.

"Oh, I can't wait for this to be an insider at Alfea!", Avalon grinned, "I don't think he'll get ever rid of this name ever again."

The girls went on their way to Red Fountain, talking about some great sword.

"Oh, that's why Knut wanted to keep that giant tree", Griselda said as the whole story suddenly began to make sense.

"Hold on... you let him keep that tree?!" Palladium looked at her completely puzzled.

"Oh yeah, and I enchanted it for him", Avalon remembered, "So, he could shrink and enlarge it again, whenever he wanted to make it fit better into his room."

Palladium shot him a death glare, "So, it's your fault, they knocked me out with this thing!", the elf accused him.

Codatorta burst out in laughter. "They punched you with a freaking tree?!", the trainer of Red Fountain asked, wiping some tears of laughter away.

Palladium's cheeks went bright red, "It was... a lot more than that. Knut surprised me, and..."

"Stop right there, elf. Don't spoil the story!", Griffin interrupted him, "We'll see how they knocked you out soon enough."

The girls approached the ruins, it was getting darker. Griselda already shook her head displeased.

"Griselda, how did you not notice something was wrong?" Faragonda looked at her old friend in disbelief.

"Oh, come on, you always say we can't forbid them everything…" Griselda pouted.

Wizgiz snorted, "As if they would listen, they aren't as bad as Witches but still… students are students…"

"Red Angel…hmmm…" Saladin was thinking about it, "I think we had a specialist who called the school that… he was a technician in his team. He was even more techno lovey-dovey than Master Specialist Tim!"

"He didn't survive the first month though…" Codatorta remembered, "Crying… as if our school was crying like a princess… That are streams of sweat and HARD WORK!" Codatorta stated energetically. Yet as Blade flew over the bridge gap she got stuck.

"Why is she stuck? That makes no sense. Did we miss something? Is this part of the mission, no fairies allowed?" Wizgiz watched the heart-breaking scene as the two split up for the time being.

Avalon and Codatorta breathed in heavy, "No…" Avalon watched it concerned, "She didn't make the jump back then..."

"You don't think it is that deep in her subconsciousness? … but she already made the jump several times now running the parkour. I thought you even secured the bridge ruins just to be safe," Griselda asked worriedly.

"Yes, I did," Palladium stated just to watch Blade whispering into Knut's ear. And a few seconds later she sat like a cannonball in his hands and Knut flung her across. The landing was less than stellar, to say the least.

"Ouch…" Saladin flinched shortly. Kitty had missed catching her.

"PAHAHAHA, no magic, so, she let herself be thrown?! Ahahahahaha! Got to love the girl!" Griffin was nearly falling off the sofa.

Kitty had obviously been searching for the great sword without success. And the girls spied the frozen Whisper Wolfs. Kitty burst into tears and was devastated. That in itself was hilarious.

"Well, she didn't need to tell either of you…" Wizgiz giggled. "Got to love that bracelet. He was munching on his third popcorn bag. Kitty and Blade started an epic forth and back worthy of a C-rated movie full of clichés. Yet then everything went dark really quickly.

"…But Kitty, there is ALWAYS hope. Miracles CAN happen. I believe in you. Besides if that doesn't work…" Her smile turned devilish than insane. "We kill the vampire and get the list! AHAHAHAHA!" Blade laughed maniacally.

They watched, quite concerned, how Blade made plans of killing everyone in her path.

"Maybe we should talk to her again", Avalon suggested, worry creeping into his voice, "I didn't think it would be this bad for her. All the things that happened..."

"Well, at least she isn't crying over all this, but uses her anger instead", Griffin commented.

"Which isn't good, either," Faragonda reminded her, "She needs to address these things furrowly. We need a better way to address this in the future?"

"No, you can't kill Avalon!" Kitty's voice interrupted the teachers before they could discuss the subject any further, "He- he is my boyfriend!"

"Her- WHAT NOW?", Avalon burst out, while the other teachers started laughing, once again.

"Ohhh, watch out there, lover boy, you can lose your job for this", Codatorta teased while gasping for air between his laughing.

"I... Geez, I hope she didn't really mean that! Alfea and now Cloud Tower students too…" Avalon was at a loss for words. "I never even met the girl." He gave Faragonda a clear side gaze. But she took it like a sport.

Blade, however, agreed to Kitty's terms in sparing Avalon from his death. She went completely insane, talking once again about killing everyone in her path. Except... for Palladium. "I think they are a pair", they heard Blade mutter.

That was enough to send everyone over the edge. Wizgiz almost tipped over with his chair, as he was shaking so much from his laughter. "That's... too good!", the leprechaun gasped.

Palladium, once again, turned bright pink, "Eeeh..."

"Oh, we are already this far? Why didn't you tell me?" Avalon looked at the elf, wiggling an eyebrow at him. "And I thought it was all work-related, you sly fox."

"Well, that's at least better than being in a relationship with a student", Griselda laughed, "But seriously, what did you two do to make them think that?"

"I don't think I wanna know", Saladin grinned. "Privat affairs are none of my concerns." He snorted.

"Just... let's keep watching!", Palladium interrupted them, clearly wanting to drop the subject.

"Mister Sunshine and Cloudy face? ..." Blade uttered. Apparently, the girls were searching for a new partner for Palladium to make everything worse.

Griselda nearly dropped her teacup, "CLOUDY FACE?! Are the students calling me that behind my back?!" She was kinda furious and stared at the guys. Avalon avoided eye contact in an instant and Palladium was just devastated everything was getting much worse for him the longer this went on.

"Well you should smile more often, if you want to avoid that," Wizgiz bent over he was laughing so hard as Blade corrected.

"Wait - no we need a dude…" And his own name fell.

"Ahaha, seems like we are the new thing!" Wizgiz smashed his hand on Palladium's back who just wanted to curl up in a corner he was so red.

"Hm, mmmh, that makes everything better…" Palladium answered sarcastically.

"Well, I can be anyone you want, even -" Wizgiz transformed, "Avalon..." He winked with his eyebrows and lifted his chin up turning his head so he could stare into his eyes.

Palladium jumped from his chair, "No way!"

All, including Avalon, were done for. Wizgiz was such a goofball.

"A+ on that display!"

"Ha, if I transform into you we could switch classes and see if any student notices!"

"Get a room you two…"

"I didn't know you swing that way."

"But I… oh, come on, that's not funny!"

"You should know when the battle is lost."

"Indeed, Mr Sunshine."

"Don't be so shy…" Wizgiz patted the empty chair. "That's so unlike you…"

"Pah, if anyone, I take the real one. You can have the WITCH!" Palladium spat out as he was trying to salvage anything.

Avalon spat out his coffee and coughed. He had not expected that comeback.

"Oh, my word," Faragonda laughed so hard.

"Truly, tell us your darkest secrets Palladium, I always can use that information for something," Griffin smirked devilishly and burst out into laughter with Faragonda again.

It took a while before the teachers could watch on. Memphis, spider hunt, chalk, Newborn blood because of the curtains, Palladium's knockout, and the preparation of the summoning spell. It was all so chaotic and entertaining. It was by far an evening of pure laughter and joy and LOTS of jokes.

"What a trip…" Wizgiz stomach hurt so much from laughing as the Alfean Professors were cleaning up the room. The others had left for their schools.

"That's one way to put it…" Palladium was turning off the computer.

Griselda smirked at him, "Well if you two ever get married please sent us an invitation."

Palladium growled at her, "Sure, Cloudy Face…you'll be first to know."

"Ahhh, you need to relax, Palladium," Avalon shook his head as he tried to hide his laughter.
