Chapter 1
The "Hero" Perball
In the distant Kingdom of Seriphos, a warrior was engaged in a sword fight with another warrior. The victor emerged triumphant after slicing his sword through the air. However, this wasn't his story. The warrior looked confused as his head got chopped off by a disc.
The story zooms in on the disc, caught by a blue cat named Perball, who was watching the entire match while lazily lounging on a chair. He is the son of the god Rizeus and his mother, the Queen of the island of Seriphos. He killed the man because he lost a bet to Larrius over which one would win the match.
Larruis-What's that really necessary, sir?" Larruis was horrified to see Perball slay a warrior right in front of them.
Perball-I won my bet; the last one standing wins. Perball took the gold from Larrius' pockets.
Larrius- Sir, that was our best fighter. The queen is going to be so mad at you." He was worried about the queen's wrath.
Perball-Relax, Larruis. She's not going to find out." Perball counted the coins on his paws.
The Queen-"PERBALL!" The coliseum shakes as the Queen shouts on top of the stadium.
"(Worried)She found out." Larruis trembling.
Perball[Annoyed]- Way to tempt fate, Larruis." at Larruis's tempting fate.
We later cut to the throne room with Perball and Larruis in front of the Queen who is also a blue cat, who glares at her son.
Queen-" Do you know why you're here?" The Queen asked with a firm tone.
Perball-You dragged me to your throne room by my ears to give me a mouth full." Perball gets a slap to the face.
Queen-No, it was from the warrior now in the depths of the underworld. And you know exactly why he's down there."
Perball- Oh, that guy, my bad. Was that warrior one of yours?"
"Queen- [Narrow Eyes]-Yes. And who murdered him like a lamb."
Perball-Look, I was just collecting money. There was a bet involved. It wasn't much of big of a deal. "
Queen- Your not concerned or his life? I see.
Perball- We got plenty more on this island. "
Queen- Well, keep in mind that many warriors have lived alone. Each requires the ability to fight to protect those who cannot defend themselves and serve me." The Queen
"Perball-As I said before, we have more to spare."Perball is smug but gets a staff hits on the head by the Queen.
" Queen-For all you know, that warrior could've been a father and a husband."
Perball-Warriors battled to the death; wasn't that expected?
Queen-In glory for their families, me, and the gods.
Perball- "Hey my dad's a god and he isn't just a regular one he's the god of Olympics.
Larrius- "I think you should stop talking right now."
Queen-Enough! [panting] And don't mention him in my presence.
Perball- [sighs] Out of all the gods, you went with that one? [tilts his head and shrugs] I hope it was worth it.
The Queen: [hissed, muttered] It wasn't.
Larrius: By the gods, you pulled a nerve.
The Queen: I won't pretend the absence of your father hasn't had an impact on you, but that doesn't excuse your behavior.
Perball: [crosses arms] I have to express my anger somewhere. It seems to help calm my frustration.
The Queen- [breathes in] Well then. How does a quest sound for you?
Perball- What's the quest?
The Queen - Well, to make up for your behavior and getting upset about the failed princess earlier, I advise you to go inside the gorgon's temple and bring me its head.
Larrius gasped. 'That one?!' he exclaimed. 'Are you sure, your highness?! That monster is known for executing warriors!'
Perball- I will take the challenge, mother!
Larrius - I don't know. Would this quest even satisfy you?
Perball-And what? Going back to betting again? I'll take the challenge.
Larry-Perball, not going home. Think about it.
Perball-[scratches chin] Hmm... Consideration is needed. I wouldn't want to approach this mindlessly, so I'd better think it through carefully. After all, warriors don't jump into battle without a plan.
Queen - Good. And I'll deliver the warriors when that happens. Also, don't return home until
bring me back the Gorgon's head, don't return home.
Perball- Challenge accepted. Perball then leaves the throne room to go on his quest.
Larrius- Are you sure he can do this?
Queen- Nah he's definitely gonna die.
Larrius- You are still gonna give us warriors to help him.
Queen- Yes but there gonna be the most incompetent and most likely perish in this quest.
Larrius - So the whole mission is rigged?
Queen-After witnessing his behavior, I believe he requires discipline.
Larrius- I won't act like he had it coming, but sending him to his death?
Queen-So the warrior who died won't be alone anymore. Plus, I needed someone to accompany him on his suicidal quest, which is why you, Larruis, are tasked with this quest.
Larruis- Oh okay... (realized what she meant) WAIT WHAT!?
