The sounds of the night blended with the sound of the nearby river the noises of the different kinds of animals somehow made the blackness of the night even more unnerving.

Tyrion didn't like the thought of having been sent to this accursed place, while he was intrigued by the many hand-drawn pictures that his father had shown him, he wasn't pleased by the thought of having to set foot in a place that had such a horrible history.

The night was something that wasn't made for men and even if he had been given guards to protect him, they wouldn't be of much help if they were attacked by a hungry beast that used the darkness itself as a weapon.

It was kind of funny when he thought about it, He was a full-grown man, granted he was a dwarf but he was still a man.

To think that he grew more and more afraid as he neared the castle.

Even from this distance, he could see the strange beasts whose bodies glowed with natural or perhaps unnatural light clinging to the walls of the castle's many towers.

He let out a gasp as he watched a bird light itself on fire before flying away without a care.

"A phoenix." he thought to himself, before dismissing the thought.

His goal was a simple yet complicated one, he needed the players to agree to meet with King Rober Baratheon who had visited the Twins, and from the man's point of view, it was only natural that the Players met him somewhere that he had control over.

The only reason that he was even chosen for this mission was because of his appearance and by the king's world, one strange person should be able to speak with another strange person.

Tyrion did point out that the king had met the Players in the Twins, not the mountain, but the king dismissed it as anyone with half a mind would know that the Frey's were nothing but cowards who bent the knee to anyone stronger than them.

It was no mystery to anyone that if the Players wanted to take the Twins then there was nothing that the Frey's could do to stop them, so the Frey's did what they always did, they smiled and agreed to whatever the stronger person said.

Tyrion agreed with the king, but it didn't change the fact that he didn't know what he had to say or do.

The horses let out a frightened scream and Tyrion as well as his guards were forced to hold on tightly as they tried to control the animals before they either fell or were carried away by the frightened beasts.

Even as he calmed his horse, he could only watch with wide eyes at the sight before him.

There was something that he had always dreamed of, flying in the sky above him, The creature didn't roar, but Tyrion could see the creature through the moonlight.

It was a dragon, The creature became smaller as it neared the castle and his eyes could barely make up the shape of a small girl who had her hands extended.

And while Tyrion couldn't see the beast anymore he was certain that girl was now holding the creature in her arms.

He had heard stories of this place while he traveled here.

The people had told him that he would see more and more fantastical sights as he neared Harremhal but that none of those creatures or men that were locked in the past ever left the road that they always took.
