The sounds of the running water seemed to vanish into the night along with whatever noise had mixed into the background that Tyrion had learned to ignore over the years, as he approached the castle.

He couldn't see any guards keeping watch over the main entrance and yet none of the horses dared to move past a certain point.

The animals were frightened but this time they didn't dare move, they simply stood still with their heads looking up at the walls of the castle.

Tyrion looked up to see what his horse was looking at, only to find himself staring into the glowing eyes of not one but several predators, he couldn't see what he was looking at because the walls of the castle completely covered the moonlight.

He nearly tried to turn his horse around when the sounds of footsteps forced him to look ahead and he found himself looking at a small girl who was staring at him and his guards with a confused expression.

"Excuse me, but if you want to come in, you have to say your name!" the girl says to him.

"I am Tyrion Lannister, I have come with a message from the King!" Tyrion answers the girl before he hears the sounds of several creatures landing around him.

"Okay you can come in, they're just making sure that no one followed you here." the girl says to him.

Tyrion looks up and finds that the glowing eyes of the creatures that he had seen earlier are gone.

Out of curiosity he looks back and immediately regrets his decision, the same eyes that had stared at him from above are now surrounding him.

He can't help but swallow his spit as he urges his horse to over, lest he somehow insults the creatures and their masters.

Tyrion could hear everything as he neared the entrance, his senses had gotten stronger as his anxiety grew with every passing second, he could hear the creatures both inside and outside of the castle, along with the waters of the nearby lake.

The first thing he truly notices after he passes halfway through the main gate is the smell of sweetbread, followed by the laughter of children.

Once again Tyrion couldn't help but stare at the sight before him, unlike before when he had been frozen with terror or before that when he had looked at the dragon from a distance.

Now he couldn't help but stare at a sight that was out of one of the many tales from the past.

Everyone had heard about the kingdom where strange creatures are used for everyday things.

Strange pig-like creatures sat on top of posts the light of their glowing bodies kept the darkness of the night away.

Children who were either orphans or perhaps were the children of the Players walked about without care as massive dogs and creatures whose bodies were covered with spikes followed them wherever they went.

Tyrion couldn't help but simply watch as the people around him picked up their goods and closed their shops for the night, he couldn't help but envy them.

He had a job to do and as much as he wanted to get some much-needed sleep, he still needed to speak with whoever was in charge.

'Lord Tyrion!" a man calls out to him and Tyrion sees that it's one of the guards that his brother-in-law the King had assigned to keep an eye on the Players.

"This way." the man says to him, before guiding him to one of the towers.

'I need to speak with one of the Players." he says to the man who ignores him and just keeps walking.

'Didn't you hear?" he begins to ask the man who stops walking and turns to look at him with firm eyes.

'Lord Tyrion, no one orders them to do anything and if you know what's best for you, you will follow our instructions." the man says to him.

'Are you threatening me?" Tyrion asks the man as his guards draw their swords.

'Look around you, this isn't a place where lords, Kings, and other titles have meaning. They will meet you in the morning, of that I assure you." the guard answers him.

Tyrion looks into the man's eyes, and he accepts that the man has seen enough to know what he is talking about.

'So what's going on?' he asks the guard, as he dismounts his horse.

"Nothing everyone is going to bed." the guard answers him before a boy takes Tyrion's horse to a nearby stable.

The guard opens the doors to the tower and Tyrion can't help but raise an eyebrow at what he sees, the inside of the tower, or at the very least the floor that he is currently in has no signs of darkness.

Torches and beasts are keeping the night away, as they walk deeper into the tower and start to go up the stairs, Tyrion finds himself in a grand hall filled with tables and chairs that have several men and women happily eating.

There are a few children amongst them, and Tyrion can't help but frown, there was no reason for women and children to be in this tower.

"Explain why are they here?" he asks the guard.

'Several of the men brought their families for a celebration and since the tower has a lot of room, they were allowed to keep their families with them." the guard answered him.

"This is supposed to be a watchtower to keep an eye on those people.' Tyrion says to the guard.

'And we are watching them, but if you think that we are a threat to them then either you didn't read everything we have sent to the king or no one told you anything." the guard answers him.

"Are they that dangerous?" Tyrion asks the guard.

'Lord Tyrion if they weren't, would you have been sent to talk to them?" the guard asks him.

'No." Tyrion answers the man, he finally accepts that he doesn't know anything about the players and so decides that it's better to do as the guard says.

The guard shows him to his room and the rest of his men to their rooms before they all enter the rooms and get some much-needed sleep.
