At Sparrow scouts HQ, Alva was sitting at her desk and was thinking about kinds of activities for the kids to do, the ones for who've been turned into trolls. After Pam gave her the idea to do activities at for David, Sarah, Frida, and Hilda, Alva thought maybe she could do more then just set up a simple set of activities at night. Alva thought more if she could start a new scout league just for the kids whom been turned into Trolls. Right now Alva was trying to draw a logo for this amazing new scout league idea. She did thought about a slogan titled: Night Trolls, but thought it would be too noticeable from sparrow scouts and other people. So, she decided to choose a different title with another avian animal, like sparrow. Alva figured since this would be a nighttime scout league, it should be an owl, them being a nighttime avian animal. And instead of the colors yellow and red from Sparrow scouts, she could do blue and white to symbolize nighttime.

Alva: This is perfect!

Alva then finished drawing the last detail and placed the pencil down. She then stood up from her seat and picked up the paper with both hands, admiring her work with pride. On the paper was a drawing of a blue owl on a black colored branch, with 2 black circles around it, with bold words on the bottom. The Night Owls.

Hilda, Frida, Trevor, David, and Sarah were walking down the sidewalk to their homes after a long day at school. They were keeping their hoods over their heads to protect themselves from the sunlight. Despite being trolls, they were all feeling happy about how Mrs Hallgrim saved their lives at school, how she saved them from being caught and taken away from the safety patrol. They were also talking about how this may be a start to be accepted and have everyone not afraid of them.

David: Guys? What do you think will happen now kids at school know our secret? Will call freaks and begin to harass us?

Sarah: I don't know. I remember when Bagsy and Kelly called me a monster when they found out, but mum and dad had my back.

Frida: Well, our parents have our backs now. They couldn't let anyone call us freaks, or have us taken away.

Hilda: Let's hope.

The kids then arrived back at Hilda's house. She invited her friends over and Johanna wouldn't mind it. Then they entered the apartment and walked up the stairs in the lobby, where they reached Hilda's apartment. Entering, Hilda hollered she was home to her mum, where she and her friends placed their coats and shoes by the doors. Then they walked past the kitchen and into the living room, where they found Johanna and Alva sitting on the couch, with a bunch of papers on the coffee table. The pair looked up at the kids and smiled when they approached them.

Alva: Hey, kids.

Trevor: Hey, Raven Leader. What's going on?

Johanna: Oh, kids. Alva is here because she has an idea how you all can do Scout activities while being trolls.

Hilda: Really?

Alva: Yes. Come here!

Alva motioned the kids to come over and they walked over, heading to the coffee table and looking at the papers Alva had brought over. They all looked at the large and first one, seeing it was the same logo Alva drew for her new scout league idea.

David: Night Owls.

Alva: Yes. If you can't do sparrow scout activities in daylight, then why not do it another scout activity at night. The Night Owls scouts will have you all do activities at night as trolls, even do them outside the walls.

Sarah: Hm. That does sound like a bright idea.

Johanna: It is. Alva has lots of ideas for this new league.

The kids then sat down around the coffee table and Alva began to tell the kids everything about this new Scout league.

Frida: So how will this work?

Alva: Well, since our transformation has been awful, so I thought we couldn't have it let us down. So, I decided to form the Night Owls, a scout league just for us.

Hilda: Does sound interesting. What would we do?

Alva: Well, I was think we could have activities based on trolls. Like we do troll magic, skills, and facts about them.

Hilda began to smile, thinking how Alva's idea didn't sound too boring, especially idea of the scout activities.

Frida: Will there be badges?

Alva: Of course! I only have 2 or 3 ides for badges, but I can think of more later on. So far, the first badge is the Troll Abilities badge. It's where we test our powers like running, strength, and jumping.

Hilda: I'll ace it!

Johanna: I'm sure of it.

Alva: Anyway, the first night of it will be on Saturday night, where you'll have no school. Now I'm gonna get the supplies and get things made like sashes and badges. But in general, how do like my idea.

Frida: I think it's great!

Sarah: Yeah! It would give us something to do. As a way of help coping.

Alva: Wonderful. Now, I'll see you until Saturday.

Frida: Alright, bye.

Alva then got off the couch and collected her papers, before then she walked away to the door and getting her jacket. The kids said their goodbyes and watched Alva leave. Then Trevor, Sarah, David, and Frida then picked up their belongings and walked out the door and said their goodbyes to Hilda, before walking out the door. Hilda then walked back into the kitchen and looked up at the wall, with something that caught her eyes. It was a picture of herself and her mum, before they were trolls. Hilda just looked up at it for a few seconds, before feeling remorse and guilt from looking at it. Even though Hilda didn't remember it, she couldn't help but feel like it was all her fault. Hilda just sighed and looked down with pity on her face, feeling some tears beginning to form in her eyes. Johanna had walked into the kitchen and saw Hilda's face of depression, letting her parent instincts kick in and walked to her side.

Johanna: Hilda?

Hilda: Oh! Yeah?

Johanna: What is it?

Hilda: Oh, nothing. Just...even though I don't remember much, I still miss us when we were not trolls.

Johanna: Ah.

Hilda: Mum? How are we gonna keep living like this?

Johanna: I don't know. But we did figure somethings out, and so will we now.

Johanna just made an assuring smile and wiped a tear of Hilda's cheek. Then the mother and daughter looked at each other with empathetic faces before Johanna wrapped her daughter in a big bear hug. Hilda did sniffle in her mother's touch, feeling the warmth her mother had and hugged back, hoping for everything to be okay.

The night had come. It was Saturday and it was time for the first ever Night Owls' meeting. Alva had already contacted the other kids' parents and told them about the Night Owls, to which they thought it was a good idea. When the night came, they all packed up their belongings and the parents sneaked their kids into the cars and drove towards the wall. Whence they got there, they drove out past the city wall and into Troll country, where the bell keeper waved hello at them when they past. Upon reaching the meeting spot, they saw Alva sitting on a stump with her backpack, waiting for the scouts to show up. One by one, the kids hopped out of the cars with excitement and said their goodbyes to their parents, before rushing to Alva. Johanna watched go before driving off, feeling this time she could trust her daughter. When the parents were all gone, the kids turned to Alva and she kindly stood up.

Alva: Alright, is everyone here?

Hilda: I think so.

David: Wait. Are these 2 coming with us?!

Everyone turned to the left and became shocked to see Jaden and Kelly, who had shown up for the Night Owls.

Alva: Of course, we're trolls now and we should stick together.

David: But with them?!

Frida: Yeah! Jaden gave David nightmares and Kelly left me for dead at the hands of the black hound!

Jaden: Hey, kid! We don't wanna be here, but our parents made us and you're gonna have to deal with it! Ya kid.

As David, Frida, Kelly, and Jaden were arguing, Sarah, Trevor, Alva, and Hilda were just sheepishly watching from aside like bystanders. Hilda just kept looking at them with a straight face, like nothing too big was happening, and suddenly felt something that was too familiar. And then it hit her, like a zap shock in her brain. Hilda felt herself being flown with times where she took a nightmare for David, where Frida befriended Kelly, and how they interfered with the marra on the night of the end of year camping trip with the Sparrow scouts. Her memories of the Marra had come back.

Hilda: I remember...

Sarah: What?

Hilda: I remember! I remember the Marra!

David: You do?

Hilda: Yeah, and I remember you both!

Hilda went from joy to remembering, to being mad as she turned to Jaden and Kelly. When Hilda had remembered them, she remembered the terrible things they did to her and her friends ages ago. Everyone could tell, judging by Hilda's pout. But they can't let that get in the way of their first Night Owls meeting.

Sarah: Well, whatever happened, I'm sure we can't let that get in the way of our time together.

Alva: Let's go!

Alva then turned in the direction of the woods and walked in, beginning their hike. But as the other kids proceeded to follow Alva, Hilda glared back at Kelly and Jaden and made a stern face, moving her fingers at her eyes and pointing them at them, signing she's got her eyes on them. Kelly and Jaden just shrugged and rolled their eyes for whatever. Alva walked in forward with her young scouts following behind her. They walked through the woods and past trolls who had set up campfires along the mountain sides, but were friendly and kindly waved hello when they passed by. Alva led them all up the hill and a couple of Trolls had gone through and out of the mountain for their campsite, letting the Night Owls peacefully pass by and walk. Soon enough, they had reached their camping spot underneath the stars and trees on the sides. They placed their stuff down and looked at each other.

Alva: Alright, everyone. Tonight, we're gonna test out our troll abilities. But first, I say we do troll magic.

Trevor: Trolls do magic?

Frida: Yeah.

Alva: That's right. The librarian had founded some old texts about Troll magic in the library, so we have at least one spell to work on for now?

Sarah: What?

Alva: Well, most of the writing in the old texts are faint, so I could only translate one spell. But I'll keep looking into it more. Right now, we're gonna create our own fires by the use of the fire conjuring spell.

Hilda: So, how do we do this?

Alva: Simple.

Alva walked around the area and began to pick up rocks that she could use to make a campfire pit. After gathering as much as she could, Alva then placed the big ones in a circle, making the fireplace area. Then all the sparrow scouts immediately gathered around Alva and got on their knees as she cracked her knuckles, before waving her hands over it.

Jaden: Aren't fires supposed to have twigs and sticks?

Alva: Well, trolls fires don't. It's how they work.

Just then a bright light appeared in a flash and everyone gasped in astonishment, amazed by the sight of the bright light of a troll fire that could burn without any flamables.

Night Owl Scouts: Whoa...

Alva: And that's how it's done. Who else wants to try?

For the next couple hours, the night owl scouts were practicing their skills like children playing with fireworks. Alva taught the kids how to do the fire troll magic spell just fine, with almost all of the scouts completing it instantly. Next they tested out their abilities of strength by lifting rocks, but also sometimes each other for the fun of it. Jaden and Kelly both just lifted up David without asking him for a quick way of nailing the test, much to his cringe. Then they did a running around activity to test out their speed. They did have a little race and Hilda got first place. Afterwards they all met up back at their campsite and rolled out their sleeping bags, laying down and looking up at the sky with a normal fire lit this time. They saw the stars in the sky and made joyful smiles of being out here. This has been a fun night, for being the first Night Owls meeting. Hilda was smiling from ear to ear, feeling the most in the joyful mood then everyone. It was almost like she did this kind of thing before.

Hilda: I must say! This has been one of the best times I've been out here! It was so fun!

Frida: Yeah, well, you used to do this and say things like this before you lost your memories.

David: Yeah. I mean, it's obvious.

Jaden: Well, I bet that's what makes you a dunderhead.

Hilda: Oh, shut up!

Kelly: We're just saying that maybe you'd stop being one if you don't keep doing that stuff.

Hilda: Well...I don't remember.

Hilda then just rolled onto her side, ignoring the presence of Kelly and Jaden, and folded her arms. David just turned to Hilda and saw her making a face of doubt, but also felt a bit hurt from their words. David remembered how Hilda stood up for him on the night Jaden took Hilda in his place for a nightmare, he should continue to live up to it. David then sat up and reached his bag, grabbing a blanket. Then he stood up and walked over to Hilda, tossing it in the air and letting Hilda be wrapped around in it, cuddling under the blanket. Then David just laid back down on his sleeping bag and looked back up in the sky.

David: Don't listen to them, Hilda. I know you might not remember, but I remember how you took a nightmare for me. It was so awesome and it inspired me to help like you do.

Hilda just glanced at David and smiled, feeling comfortable with his words. But suddenly Hilda felt her brain being zapped, feeling a shock where she found herself being flooded with memories of David. Old memories of David where they did all kinds of wacky things together. Some good, some bad, like when she took his place in having a nightmare and comforted him during the time with the vikings. It had come back to her. She remembered David, her old friend from sparrow scouts. Hilda just rose up with a wider smile.

Hilda: I now remember!

Frida: Hm?

Sarah: What do you remember?

Hilda: David! I remember him! From sparrow scouts and everything!

Everyone looked at Hilda and saw her making a face of pride of her memories restored. Everyone just smiled in more joy and pride how Hilda remembers David now.

Frida: This is great, Hilda! I'm glad your coming around!

Hilda: Me too.

Frida: Well, I can't wait to tell you about Sparrow Scouts too.

Hilda: Yes please!

Everyone just laid back down as Frida began to tell Hilda about Sparrow Scouts, in hopes by her will chog her memories. But Kelly and Jaden weren't interested, and put on their walkmans and listened to their music. For the next couple minutes, Frida spoke with Hilda about their times in the Sparrow Scouts together. She spoke of the lost clan adventure, the vikings near the screaming stones, woffs migration, and when the Black Hound, or Jellybean, came to Trolberg. Hilda listened the whole time, but none didn't really seem to bring back anything. But it was worth a try. Overtime they suddenly began to grow tired and more sleepy from all their activity. They continued to look up at the sky and saw the stars, before they felt their heads drop against their sleeping bags and they felt themselves drift off into dreamland.

After hours, hours worth of sleep, they didn't get the chance to wake up. They didn't get up in time for the sun to come out. They didn't feel it, but they were turned to stone upon sun up. There were now troll rocks the size of humans laying on sleeping bags. The Night Owls did realize what happened, but sense they were turned to stone they couldn't do anything. They couldn't move, or hear, or speak. So all they could do was only wait for nighttime again. The trolls that were outside did turn to stone as well. But suddenly, there was the sound of a pickup truck coming and stopped near the campsite of the night owls, where 3 men hopped out and saw the troll rocks on the sleeping bags. They looked at it with suspicion, before coming to a conclusion.

Man 1: What the...

Man 2: Trolls...They ate these campers!

Man: 3: Well, let's not them get away with this!

The man looked at each other, nodded, and walked back to the back of their truck, where there was a picture of a troll with an x mark on. These were Anti troll people. After the Night of The Trolls was issued, some people didn't take too kindly to this and actually started to mess with trolls in any way they can. Like putting bells on their nose to annoy them. And that's what these men were doing. They took out the right number of bells, and walked around, tying bells around their nose without the night owls knowing and not stopping. After they were done, tying about 8 bells around the trolls' noses, they hopped back into their truck and zoomed away, leaving the night owls by themselves at the mercy of bells.

Soon after hours nighttime had fallen and the moon rose, unleashing the trolls from stone and back into flesh, including the Night Owls. The first then the gang felt was stone crumbling, before they could be able to feel and move again, and sit up. They all rose up and sat up while gasping for air, feeling free after so many hours. They turned to look at each other with faces of shock and horror, scared and confused by what happened. David was breathing heavily as he was traumatized by what's going on.

Jaden: What just happened?!

Alva: I think we've been out too long. We've been rocks for an entire day!

Trevor: What?!

Alva: I know, Trevor. *Sigh* Okay, Night Owls. It's time to go back!

They all agreed. They immediately struggled to get up on their feet, where they proceeded to get up and attempt to pack up. But Suddenly they all heard the sound of a loud banging nose, where it's extreme, sonic waves pierced their ears in a flash. Everyone screamed and stumbled back to the ground, feeling their ears incredibly sore and in pain from such a loud noise. They turned to their noses, where they saw tiny bells tied to their long and pointy troll noses. They immediately yanked the bells off their noses and tossed them to the side, getting them away from them. Then Alva got up and walked to the small bells, stomping on them as hard as she could to get rid of the noise. The Night Owls were now free from the bell noise and had to get ready to go. But they weren't pleased, especially Hilda. She did not like the sound of bells one bit, like Trolls disliked them. She stumbled onto her feet and just looked at her hands, seeing how their troll hands, and not her previous human ones. Hilda felt sink, a lump in her throat, and her eyes grow watery, because she realized one of the negatives of being a troll. She truly didn't want this and wanted to go back to the way things were desperately, but she knew it was out of the question. Hilda just made a quiet sniffle, which Frida heard and turned to Hilda and saw her sad.

Frida: Hilda?

Hilda: *Sniffle* This isn't fair.

David: What?

Hilda: All of this! We're trolls with no way of turning back! I lost my memories! And now there's some people who won't just cut us some slack! It's so unfair!

Hilda just couldn't take it anymore and just slumped down onto her knees, feeling her sadness overcoming her. Hilda then began to cry and whimper as she covered her eyes with her hands, before she began to sob and cry. Everyone just looked at her and made faces of sorrow for her, which Frida, David, Trevor, and Sarah couldn't help but tear up themselves. They just walked over to Hilda and placed their hands on her shoulders, comforting her the best they could as they began to cry. Jaden and Kelly just looked upon the crying kids and felt something in their hearts. Sure they were teenagers and they didn't like these particular kids, but they still felt their feelings of pity. But not just sorrow, but guilt, regert, and remorse for what they did. Jaden and Kelly just walked over and stood behind them, making sympathetic faces before speaking.

Jaden: Guys?

David and Frida and Hilda and Sarah and Trevor: Yeah?

Kelly: We're...we're sorry.

Jaden: Yeah. I'm very sorry. About everything.

Jaden and Kelly both became silent and looked down on shame, showing they were sorry for what they did. The kids then just looked back at them and showed their red eyes from crying with dried tears, but they were done and they became less sad. The kids then made small smiles at them for apologizing, especially David, Frida, and Hilda. It was really nice of them to do so. Alva just looked on and made a small smile, feeling glad how they were making up.

Alva: Alright. Let's go.

All the kids looked back at Alva, who was making a polite face, and they all nodded. They got back up on their feet, brushed themselves off, packed up their things, and made their way back home under the night.
